Seriously, s2 gave us what we wanted and more. We were well fed. Beautiful kisses! Touching moments!

The cake toppers! Holy shit I still can't believe they did that. Ed painted a bride cake topper to look like himself, with a heartaching degree of tenderness. It's one of the most haunting things I've ever seen.

Ed and Stede got to end the show feeling safe and happy, and they're getting to start their new lives together. It was never supposed to end there, but it's such a kind ending. It's not an ending, not really, it's their new beginning.

Season 2 is great. We're lucky this show ever got made, and season 1 was phenomenal, but faced with extreme budget and time cuts in season 2, they delivered a damn excellent story. Everyone involved in this show should be proud, and I'm just glad every day that I'm lucky enough to have been here to watch it and be in this space with you all!

David’s nicknames for reader: Kitten, Kitty, Kit Cat, Doll face, Beloved, and My Queen (Yes even as a male reader, David believes himself the King so naturally his partner is his other half despite gender. He regards his partner as the chess Queen to his King; here is a lil blurb of how I see the conversation going, the first time it happens.

Male reader x David: “Um David, why did you call me your Queen? I am a whole grown ass man?” “Beloved, you are the most important piece on my chess board, since I'm clearly the King, you are my other half.” The bastard has the audacity to say condescendingly as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “You do realize that means I should be protecting you right?” That wipes the smirk right off his face, and he narrows his eyes at you. “Absolutely not happening”. He says with teeth grit in a firm line. “You are not putting yourself in any danger ever.” “Then by chess standards that makes you the Queen”. It was your turn for the shit eating grin, the expression on his face was priceless. It is definitely one of your favorite ways to tease him from that moment on. If however it causes you discomfort he will refrain from using it. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still tease him with it. You will be punished accordingly after every instance you jokingly call him “my Queen”, but teasing him is half the fun. Side note, Paul tries to help by suggesting you combine the two, “One of you can be, Quee-ing, and the other can be Ki-een. BOOM! Problem solved, you’re welcome!” Spoiler… It does not solve the problem.

Things that David secretly loves being called, its a “secret” because he “doesn’t do nicknames”: Handsome, Cowboy, My King, My one, My love, basically anything that has a possessive edge implying that David is readers everything (Daddy loves to be needed)

Things reader (and the boys) call him that he “hates”: Daviey (Paul’s go to mostly), Marko calls him Daddy as if he were confessing to a Catholic priest during confession; “Daddy I’ve been naughty” instead of “forgive me father for I have sinned”. Chaos ensues and you will catch David chasing Marko around the cave on multiple occasions for this very reason. David won’t admit out loud that he’s okay with his partner calling him Daddy but he does prefer Sir, but if it revs your engines then he will graciously allow you to call him Daddy. Moral of the story… David is a butthead.

Names David actually hates being called: Baby, And any nickname that is overly obnoxious like : Stud muffin, or Pookie.

Dwayne:

Dwayne’s nicknames for reader; Darling, Sweetheart, Baby/Babygirl/Babyboy (if it is Babyboy, just know Paul is jealous), Mama or Nobi for a non gendered version (of a parental name that both he and Laddie call a parental figure reader), Prince/Princess/Princex

Dwayne’s nicknames from the reader and the boys, they are all fair game for D-man: Papa, Big man, D, Snuggle bear, Big Cat, Baby Daddy

Marko:

Marko’s nicknames for reader: Angel, Dove, Love, precious one, Sunshine, Tesoro / my treasure (if you headcannon him as an Italian, as many do 😉) the Juliet to his Romeo if you're a fem reader (until you point out that Juliet was like 13 and Romeo was 16. And comparing your love to that of children was not as romantic as he assumed it was. Those names quickly get abandoned)

Nicknames for Marko: Cassanova, Italian Stallion, Stud, Angel (the first time reader calls him angel you both argue over who gets to call the other angel, and it ends with an intervention from David. “You are both little devils, you brats!” you both continue to call each other angel, and David continues to call you both little devils.)

Nicknames that will get get you (or the boys) in trouble and not the good kind: Cherub, bird boy.

Nanco has made a couple of Littlest Pet Shop Plush/Stuffed toys for carnival prizes and claw machines from 2007 to around 2010. Unfortnatly there is ZERO photos of them in carnival stalls and its not sure how many exist. So far from what I've seen is this beautiful fuck from 2008. based on LPS #641

This lil long guy from.. unknown date :,) but is most definetly from Nanco due to the odd orange loop on the back of their nape which all Nanco LPS have. Typically I can find the date on the tag but out of the two photos I have found of them, the tag is blurry. It's maybe based off of LPS #111?

Lastly, this guy, which I dont actually think is Nanco but it was listed as one. Any image reverse search and search terms bring up nothing. This is the only photo I could find, if there was a back view I could verify but unfortunately there isnt :( what makes me severely doubt its nanco it it's embroidery eyes- though, the octopus from 2009 did... OKAY SO, the first one that comes to mind is Handsome Devil. Would this essentially be emotional turmoil for Cap ? Absolutely yes but 1) I'd love to see him understand that times have changed and people are accepting of queerness and 2) it's a beautiful movie that I think all the ghosts could benefit from watching. Especially the Captain. It's about these two kids in an irish boarding school who form an unlikely friendship (Ned - outcast loner and Conor - rugby fiend loved by the school for his skills). PLEASE WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T. Also the soundtrack for this movie is BEAUTIFUL and makes me go a lil insane every time I watch it. IT"S GOT ANDREW SCOTT AS A GAY ENGLISH TEACHER !!!

Otherwise, I'd also choose The Nice Guys. Fun detective buddy-cop movie and so far everyone I've showed it to has enjoyed it. I also think it'd start a really good discussion about sex work and the judicial system. Not necessarily in relation to each other but still. Fanny would definitely be shocked just at the opening scene but honestly, I think after some discussing she'd enjoy it too. Maybe. Julian definitely would. But it's fuckin hilarious and also heartwarming with the lil hint of found family.

My desk is right up against a window that usually gets good light in the morning, so that's where I take most of my pics (some of them I take on the floor right beside the desk). Keyword "usually" because the lighting is by no means consistent baha, and what usually ends up happening is I try to snap a bunch in between clouds moving and the light changing throughout the morning. Then I dress up the pics a lil by slapping a filter on em--usually one of the warm light filters that comes with the google pixel phones, which is also what I use to take photos.

And as for the background--yes, it's fabric! I'm always on the lookout for fabric in the clearance bins at craft stores to make bookcloth, so I have a bunch of scraps on hand that live in a bin in the corner of the room haha:

I basically choose what fabric I'll use for a photo based on what I have at the moment! But I really like the shiny ones so I'll probably keep using those. Using fabric as a background is actually a fairly new thing for me, so I'm still experimenting; most of my books are just chillin on my desk in their photos, which is still my go-to setup when I want to snap some pics. Can't go wrong with a nice warm wooden background imo!

(The red fabric I've used for the last few books is supposed to be for a dress I'll work on...one day. Maybe. Eventually. We'll see ajsldkjf)

earth-2182 AU

(the home dimension of x-men character nocturne (talia wagner) daughter of kurt wagner and wanda maximoff) but with particular emphasis on the nightcrawler x scarlet witch ship.

what’s actual canon in the marvel earth-2182 that i’m hanging onto:

kurt wagner & wanda maximoff are married and so besotted in love that their (adult!) daughter says ‘they’re like teenagers’. nightcrawler is an x-man, but the scarlet witch is a member of the avengers.

ok so AU time really just an expansion on that b/c there’s little to nothing else we know abt TJs parents in her universe... wanda meets kurt on a joint-team mission just after joining the avengers… she's 23 and he's 25 (so he's been an x-man for 5 years while she’s still v new to hero-ing) their teams get split up mid-crisis and they end up stranded together and it’s like omg crisis! actually we’re a really good team. actually you’re kinda hot??? etc, etc. i remember i read some random comic panels of them meeting and wanda impressing kurt b/c she speaks a bit of german and they’re really on the same wavelength and idk these little panels too give the hint that they’d just hit it off straight away y’know

afterwards kurt finds any reason to send her gifts or call her or show up at avengers tower - very flamboyant and dramatic. but anyway wanda is in a better place than in avengers movie etc. (and pietro is alive. the maximoff siblings are romani jewish and both alive.) anyway so wanda is doing okay and learning to be a hero, and then when that gets stressful there’s a guy who’s doing the absolute most just to see her smile. its all very charming and they get together. also it’s the 1980s.

they date for about three years before they get engaged and then married very soon after. why wait! they’re in love (ages 27 and 29). scott summers officiates and cries about it, kitty pryde is kurt’s maid of honour, pietro maximoff is wanda’s best man. it’s the party of the year and the biggest x-men/avengers mixer ever lol.

kurt is your classic I LOVE MY WIFE guy, as we know he always chugs his respecting women juice. he’ll admit he’s a little terrified sometimes of the sheer power wanda has, but they’re so dedicated to each other its like katara getting aang out of the avatar state.

they continue to be on separate teams with separate bases as in earth-2182 canon but they do have their own place to spend time at together, luckily for wanda having a husband that can travel anywhere in the blink of an eye is extremely convenient.

kurt loses his eye 3 years later (ages 30 and 32) in a scuffle that i’m writing a fic abt the aftermath b/c i love angst and hurt/comfort lol and it shakes them up enough that they both decide to take time off from hero business.

during this time TJ is conceived!!! she is born (wanda 31, kurt 33) and wanda moves to xavier's so that they can get help with raising her and allowing her to grow up around other mutants, it’s the 1990s, kurt isn’t an active x-man but he is the school’s drama teacher. wanda really gets stuck into motherhood and realises it’s everything she’s ever wanted, literally Best Mother, sings the most beautiful lullabies, gets really into sewing and sews tons of matching outfits for herself and TJ.

later wanda rejoins the avengers and after about a decade kurt takes over leadership of the x-men and things continue from there. TJ trains to be an x-man and also sings in a riot grrl band. she’s a big time music lover b/c she inherited her father’s flair for the dramatic. she’s got main character curse a lil bit tho lol so during a x-mission she gets universally displaced (as in comics canon somwewhere idk i’m not fixated enough on it)

so TJ disappears in about 2015 at age 20, making wanda 51 and kurt 53.

and then there’s my whole mental disney movie about TJ trying to return home lol, probably it DOES put a bit of a strain on kurt & wanda’s unshakeable marriage because it’s understandably traumatic for your child to go missing no matter what age they are, and ofc TJ is having her interdimensional situation but i’m not imagining it playing out like in the comics too much because in my mind it’s all culminating in [this] because we love a happy ending. she deserves to make it home.

(TBH the most AU thing about this whole thing is just that kurt wagner NEEDS to be sexy and canon old man nightcrawler in in canon earth-2182 is like... not sexy, sorry. but the eyepatch is a vibe!!! so much of a vibe i’ve noticed it in the latest x-men gold(?) run, we love pirate vibes kurt)

Headcanon A:  realistic

She has a pet black cat named "Pumpkin", whom she found as an abandoned kitten one day while walking home from school. While the lil fuzzball isn't always the nicest to those like Danny or Tucker (or, really most people in general), Sam sees the kitty as her lil baby no matter what~

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

One time as a dare/joke, Sam decided to sign herself up for cheerleading not too dissimilar from when she signed up for that pageant in "Beauty Marked". Little did she know that she'd actually end up passing the try-outs with her agility/athletic skill... so cue her grumpy disposition for the next few football games she's stuck waving around pom-poms with Paulina & Star lol.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Way back in the day, little Sam actually used to get along pretty well with her mother Pamela (constantly spending time doing makeovers, hosing tea parties, taking part in ballet & beauty pageants, etc.). It was only when she became more independent-minded that Sam started to realize how... "controlling" her mother was, and how anything they bonded over was solely the things Pamela enjoyed, nothing Sam actually wanted to do...

Being the first time her daughter ever told her "no" to any of their activities caused a huge rift between Pamela and Sam from then on... only becoming more strained now that Sam's a goth (and thus Pam can't help trying to "recapture" old memories with pushing those girly dresses on her, oblivious to the fact that this was what drove Sam apart from her to begin with...).

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

While she and Danny come to terms with their feelings much like the end of the canon series, the two of them don't actually start to "date"-date for real until a little later in highschool (once the dust settles from ghost-fighting for them to have more free time together). In college the two of them would have a brief break from eachother so they can focus on 'finding' themselves better (as any young adult would at that age). By their later 20s they’ll be back together for good though ❤️
