Goooood morning everyone, Happy Father's Day~ x3 💚Couldn't resist the chance to upload something simple & sweet for the occasion (surprisingly on time too, no less lol); esp. since yall seemed to enjoy the last batch of family memories I showed with the Fentons in my DP Next Gen-

Here's another lil time capsule with Lilith Fenton in her tiny, chubby-cheeked baby days; the apple of her parents' eyes even with her budding, unexpected-ghost powers popping up on them at times. With the natural precautions taken to keep them at-bay through Fenton-invented neutralizers (safe enough for a baby to wear), it gave her folks more peace to just enjoy the times of her wiggly, snuggly infancy…

Especially, as shown above, the chances Danny could take to gently fly through the night with Lilith safe in his arms… snoozing away without a care in the world~ :3 No matter how tiring parenthood can be on Danny, (let alone mixed with his usual superhero duties) to have this lil one in his life as his baby, after all he's been through… he wouldn't change that for the world~ 🥺🙏💙

Heyyy everyone, Happy 1st day of Pride Month~ 🌈🌈To celebrate the occasion, here's my own personal set of LGBT identity-headcanons for the main Casper High kids (+Danielle) of the series; admittedly these aren't suuuper set in-stone on my end ngl, but they're overall just a general vibe I feel for each character whenever I watch canon scenes with them/draw them out/imagine them in certain ships/etc.~ 💚💚

Would Arthur still be a couple of years older than Morgan in this next-gen reboot, or are they the same age now as Morgan has aged up? Just a curious question that came to mind remembering your previous next-gen versions.

They’re moreso around the same age in this current next gen timeline, yep. The new narrative is that they officially met one another when Morgan already left highschool (18 years old); as by then she was a full-fledged hunter trusted to handle ghosts of Arthur’s level (aka: his dragon form). Arthur comparatively has completed his own knight training (spanning from ages 13-18) by then, so by the time they start dating they’re both somewhere around 18-19 years old (if that makes sense .3.)

Forgot if this was asked before; but why *is* Sam your overall fave from Danny Phantom, exactly? Was there any particular moment/episode that made her grow on you, or did you generally love her since the start of the series?

Oooh, I can't seem to dig up the ask if I ever answered this; buuut to give a quick rundown I've just always enjoyed/vibed well with Sam whenever I watched the show; a spunky, spirited heroine with a surprising amount of complexities to her imho.

Snarky, protective over nature, artistically crafty at times, unapologetic in her love for spooky things, and was most often the one keeping her friends in-line when they're being dumb-

...while at the same time, Sam wasn't immune to being vulnerable in her feelings, (secretly) liking cute things, dealing with insecurities any other teen would (esp. thanks to the bullies at her school-), and ultimately wasn't afraid to go geek out & have fun with the ones that matter most in her life... aka: her best friends~💚

Was Sam's writing always perfect? No. Was there times I found her a bit... "much"? Sure. But like, here's the thing yall... she's 14. An age where maaaaany of us were still dealing with the budding stresses of entering highschool, puberty, & a whole other whirlwind of emotions for the next few years to come. And considering some of the bs Sam had to deal with throughout the series, including (in no order):

-Parents who kept pushing their preppy tastes against her will + almost banned her from the only friend circle she has

-Nearly getting forced into child marriage to a creepy old ghost prince

-Her friends' memories of her almost erased due to an impulsive, anger-driven wish

-Getting rage-transformed into a ghostly dragon due to realizing her best friend was being toyed with by his crush ("Here, take your crummy amulet; I'm going back inside to dump your dorky friend!")

-Practically jumped to near-death onto a speeding train. ALL so she could save her best friend from a mind-controlling circus leader

-Getting mind-controlled herself into a scary plant queen, nearly consumed by the earth until Danny came to save her + the town

...honestly? Its a miracle Sam didn't completely snap under all that by series end, oml- TxT;; Which for me, only further elevated Sam up into fave status over the years, if she can stay such a resilient lil spooky bean through it all... soooo yep, TL;DR for the reasons mentioned above, I'll always be happy to defend Sam on this blog, no ifs ands or buts about it~💜🦇👏

just curious- is morgan still shipped with that one red-haired bull oc (from those older cm pics you did with them)? idk was randomly remembering them looking back at your past art + know how much arthur/morgan's been part of your ng, so would this fella be a part of the current verse too?

No, that was just an old crossover ship shared between me & a fellow mutual's OC (whereas he was part of a whole different story-verse). The two of us creators dated around that time (for those unaware; due to personal reasons irl, we’ve decided to go back to just being friends🙏), and so occasionally we both cross-shipped our OCs for the fun of it. Most of that was never meant to be "canon" in our respective works though (thus Arthur/Morgan remain solely together in-universe btw).

Buuut yeah, I still enjoy the occasional cross-shipping with mine & trusted buddies' OCs (if yall are chill/comfortable with it ofc), I don't mind! ^^ 👍

Your next gen ghost kid designs are so cute and cohesive!!!

Aaaaaa thank youuu!! You're too kind hlhjk😭💚💚One of the things I've always loved about "Danny Phantom", was the creative & cohesive designs set for the Ghost Zone cast;

Like, even if there were alot of similar color palettes for a majority of said ghosts (green, black, purple, red, etc.)... each & every one of them were still iconic/unique-enough to stand out imo. From up-close, far away, solo or even huddled together in a group, none of them ever felt too "same-y" even as the series went on + more enemies were added to the roster.

And so, especially now as I've tried my best to grow better with character design & color theory, I really wanna make sure each of my own OCs (current & future-wise) can follow that solid design trend too! 💚

Heyyy, everyone! Happy (belated) Mother's Day~ :3 Randomly got hit with a surge of inspo for some wholesome mom fluff (though sadly couldn't upload on the actual holiday 'cause of irl business 😭), sooo what better way to celebrate than to depict the motherly dynamics each of my villain trio (aka Zanna, Reve & Nyx) have in my NG?~ ;p

Yes, surprise-surprise but turns out being evil doesn't negate feeling any sort of love… as for these wicked three, they each love their mothers in their own unique ways~ uwu From Zanna & her mom Kitty always being up for girly-gab & mischief (whenever they get free time from Johnny 13 + Zanna's other siblings), to Reve eager to treat his mother like a queen no matter what (+spill the villainous tea together whenever they're hanging out💅), and even Nyx can't help being a good ol' boy for his dear mama Spectra ('cause well… where else would he get his shadow-y charmer skills from? lol).

No matter how much mayhem they cause for our heroes, and the rest of the Ghost Zone… the trio can always rest easy knowing back home, they still got moms to love them forever~ 💚🥺🙏

Forgot if this was asked before, but are there any plans to add Dark Danny/a potential fan-kid of his to your verse? What about Vlad?

Mmmmmmmnope, there's been no plans in-mind atm for Dark Danny's involvement in my NG stuff, nor fankid-wise tbh. Mostly 'cause I feel like many fans have already done most of the "cool" story stuff/exploration with Dark Danny... soooo, I'm just not rly sure what else I'd be able to add that hasn't been done before? lol .w.;;

Though on the other hand... hmmm, since I've seen others depict him still having a sibling bond with Jazz (+Danielle), I could potentially see Dark Danny having a sort of "paternal/familial" attachment to Lilith & Morgan, since even if they weren't born from him specifically... they would lowkey count as related imo, since he's still technically "Danny" at the core (just y'know, more corrupted & such). So while I probably wouldn't make this a big story arc thing or however... maaaaybe I'll add it to my potential "to-do" list of art ideas someday. Idk, we'll see .3.

Vlad is a whole other case buuuut I'll save that more for when the time comes, heh~👀🍵

Speaking of the canon Danny Phantom show, do you think it could've been worth it to give it another "fourth" season, if you had a choice to give it a better ending/fix up certain story arcs?

Hmmmmm, I do see the appeal in wanting to spruce up the canon ending we got (cause oof, even now I can see how messy “Phantom Planet” was-). For a whole 4th season however… Iiiii feel like it might be a bit “much” imo, if there’s no clear narrative goal in mind? ^^;

Like, with what they’ve been doing with the graphic novel series (aka. the one with Dark Danny & the upcoming Valerie-focused novel), I can tell they’re rife with potential for story arcs. But given some of the clunky writing in the later-half of the canon show, I think we're gonna have to call more for an overhaul of that before tackling another season.

Like here’s what I’d personally suggest for a S3 overhaul (should one choose to keep it as the "final" season):

-Add in more episodes for S3, to give it the same proper bulk of content as the previous seasons + help not feel so "rushed" by the series-end.

-Maaaaybe tone down the Vlad focus in terms of episode plots; yes, I get he is the main series villain... but that doesn't mean he needs to show up all the time imho. Compared to the first couple seasons where he was only ever the "main focus" a handful of times (thus helping him feel like a genuine threat to stay on-edge about), by S3 Vlad just... didn't feel too impressive, villain writing-wise tbh? 🤷‍♀️ As the old saying goes, "Less is More~" 🍵🍵

-Following the prior point, I'd try to incorporate more of a mix of the og villain roster AND the newer ghosts (ex. Nocturn, Undergrowth, etc.) as episode focuses... 'cause ngl, most of the previous baddies did start to feel forgotten-about in S3's narrative, outside of a couple cameos here & there 😔 Like, instead of clumsily shoving Ember, Kitty & Spectra into one episode... have them spread out in their own plots (+bring in Desiree to share the spotlight with one of them too, if you still want some team-up ideas). Or even for a main finale focus, that could be a fun time to bring back Dark-Danny to once more be the "ultimate" threat (symbolically capping off Danny's adventures by facing the reality of "growing up" instead of ignoring it again, y'know?). Just... aaaagh, whyy must all these cool ghosts be shoved off to the side, man... 😭😭

-Have Danny & Sam get together alooooot sooner than the series finale; which yes, I can see how that'd be controversial for those who don't ship them (and/or just don't like romance, period lol)... buuuut I mean, since DxS has been hinted/teased at since S1, then one might as well bring it full circle and show the audience how they work as a couple imo (ex. Kim & Ron during the later eps of "Kim Possible"). Like say, put "Frightmare" ahead of "Urban Jungle" (to allow Danny & Sam to realize they both like eachother through their shared dream), have the angst + raised stakes of "Urban Jungle" break through Danny to confess his love, fights tooth & nail to save Sam (+the others), and then once the dust is settled/reunite back to normal... they have their big kiss moment to seal them as a canon couple (ahh, classic cartoon trope hehe~💗). Cue the rest of the S3 going by as normal (+them being awkward dorks trying to get through ghost adventures while also figuring out dating lol), the finale happens, they have another heart-to-heart to further acknowledge feelings, they fly off in the end committed to one another... The End~ 💜💚

When Lilith & Darryl grew up, they were big fans of the in-universe version of Pokemon (called "TracerMonz"). Playing through pretty much all the game-generations, collecting trading cards (+other merch), and eventually inspiring those like Morgan & the others to get into the series too~ ;p One time, Lilith & Darryl even camped in-line their local game store to get a midnight release of the latest TracerMonz game "Dusk & Dawn" edition(s), with Lilith even fighting off a couple brattier fans trying to steal their spots along the way lol. Chaotic as that whole ordeal was... both Lilith and Darryl consider that one of their most favorite bestie memories~ :3

As Morgan was approaching her teen years, and steadily growing more confident thanks to Valerie's teachings... one thing she's always secretly yearned to learn more about was makeup. As a shy lil snow bean who usually hid herself behind big sweaters, she never thought she'd actually pull off cute makeup on her own. It was through one night that she finally got the courage to ask June (one of Lilith's besties) for makeup help during a Halloween dance. Trying on a bit of black lipstick and eyeshadow thanks to June was what inspired Morgan to keep that look from then on~

One classic memory shared between the Fenton girls was one time when Morgan (around age 4-5) was stuck sick at home during a snow day. Since school was cancelled all throughout Amity Park, most neighborhood kids were out playing in the snow, Morgan expected she'd be left alone missing out on the fun while she recovered... up until Lilith surprised her by staying home & playing a pretend game of "Super Spy Sister Nurse" lol. Basically hyping up Morgan that "the world was in-danger" and by helping out her baby sis throughout the day (giving her soup, medicine, some homemade snow-cones as a treat, etc.), they were "saving the world" together bit-by-bit~ uwu
