I think an underrated aspect of Separation Arc and why it works so well is that once Mob finally stands up for himself and stops going to work, we think we can expect the following to happen:

Reigen quickly flounders at work but stubbornly denies he's incapable without Mob's help

Reigen eventually runs into a client who truly needs the help of psychic powers (e.g. the client is haunted by an evil spirit who cannot be exorcised with salt)

Reigen realizes that he truly needs Mob to not be seen as a fraud and that he shouldn't have taken him for granted

Reigen seeks out Mob and apologizes, Mob accepts his apology and agrees to work for him again

Except... that's not what happens. Reigen does get upset and lonely without Mob, but his business runs fine—in fact, Reigen's own ambition and smart thinking actually allow him to find greater success as a psychic. The only reason Reigen's public downfall even happens is because he was maliciously tricked by Jodo, he'd figured out on his own that the kid wasn't possessed! This and the fact that Jodo is seeking petty revenge for Reigen "humiliating" him (when Reigen actually saved his life no less) really makes us feel like Reigen's public mockery is unfair and unjustified... even though we've always known from the beginning that Reigen is a fraud.

Isn't that a strange turn of events?

Then we get to the press conference. It's possible that even if Mob hadn't helped him at the end, Reigen could've still managed to salvage some of his public image. He was calmly answering people's questions and answering truthfully, pointing out that they had no evidence he was a fraud and that no one had ever had an issue with his work before the show. But all of that stops mattering to Reigen when he realizes that despite all his efforts from childhood, he's still just a lonely, lonely man who has never had any idea what he wants to do in life. The only reason he kept running his psychic business in the first place was because Mob showed up in his dull life and brightened it up with his vivid color.

It is finally here, after all this time we've been spending with Reigen, that we both figure out the truth: Reigen needs Mob not because of his powers, but because Mob is his friend and inspires him to be better. And this full understanding of Reigen's complex character and deep connection with Mob is what hits all of us so hard in this episode, it's so painfully human and real and we would not have gotten all of this had the story just played out as expected.

Thus culminates the genius subversions of Separation Arc: despite having the world's attention all focused on him, Reigen only makes one honest apology to one boy. This boy might not even watching this at all—if he is, he's probably watching this with spiteful bitterness—but it's still important that this boy knows...

Of course he'd do as you say even if it was clearly unfair, but not without some complaints. He clicks his tongue, a quiet mutter of "cheeky.." escapes under his breath. He knows you do this on purpose to mess with him, he was tempted to beg a little, but decided against it. it was an embarrassing thought to begin with. Seriously, how mean can someone be to make a guy think like this? ..Extremely, if the guy's pouting is cute enough! Noritoshi lifts his hand to his chin, thinking of the many ways he can try to get around this obstacle you cruelly placed in front of him. He leans in close, hovering next to you as he usually does when he thinks. He faces you as who knows what goes on in his head, his closed eyes not even giving you a hint as to what he could be thinking. "Ah, pardon me, I got lost in thought. I suppose i can keep my distance, so long as you keep looking at me with that charming gaze of yours." Ah, so he was just winding up for a pick up line. How lame, but.. get used to it. He's going to shadow behind you the entire day with more one liners like that unless you shut him up yourself. Wait.. was that his plan? The faint sly smirk tugging on the corner of Noritoshi's lips and the warm hue on the apple his of cheeks are all you need to figure out the rest.

If you're high energy or prefer more blunt methods of affection..

Noritoshi gets overwhelmed and flustered from such raw approaches from you that he comes off as a bit rude. It's only because you make his heart so full that he needs to shut you down or else he'll do something embarrassing!! He wants to impress you, of course he enjoys your advances very much, but it's not very slightly to see someone like him act like a crushing school girl!! or so he thinks.

Noritoshi yelps in surprise as you snake your hands around his waist from behind. He doesn't push you away or even move for that matter, he's frozen stiff. Is he still alive? Noritoshi remains stiff for the most part, but looking at the back of his increasingly flushing neck reassures you that he is, indeed, alive. He's just being stubborn! Not turning or even a greeting, just rude name calling again! You raise one hand and place it over his heart to hold him tighter in your embrace. As expected, its practically pounding against his chest. He swats your hand away and finally turns back to you with those cute furrowed brows and rosy cheeks. "You're such a bully, you know that?" he huffs out, any semblance of sternness failing to take effect as his jutted bottom lip quivers. Mercifully, you finally let go and spare him by not pointing out the quiet whine he let out. He stumbles forward and turns around to face you fully, trying to keep an eye out for any more of your stunts while he catches his breath. He felt so dizzy from being in your arms, if he were held for a moment longer, he surely would've melted right then and there. Noritoshi's hands trembled as he smoothed out his clothes, his mouth opening and closing as any and all words died in his throat. He wanted to yell at you for being so forward, for giving him no chance to prepare, for letting go of him, for a lot of things..! Yet he just pouted as he tried to calm the flush on his face. His hands instantly whipped up in front of him when he noticed you took a step towards him. He can't handle another display of affection right now, he'll go weak at the knees! The most likely outcome is a mixture of both with a heavy leaning towards one. Either way, you're very right!! He's extremely pretty.

I’ve always taken issue with the velaryons race swap because deep down I feared it would happen at the expense of a canonical black woman, and that it happened only to serve white characters and make them more palatable. In between actual representation of a black girl storyline vs scraps and disrespectful content just so the writers can pat themselves on the back, I would always choose the first one (nvm that we shouldn’t have to CHOOSE anything because the writers sure have time to develop and even make up new white characters, but I digress).

And let me say something: Rhaena and Baela do not belong in this conversation, unless we are discussing the real issue of writers thinking that black people are interchangeable and the treatment of these characters now that they are black. Outside of that, their book arcs, the unfairness of having their storylines not adapted DO NOT BELONG HERE. I can’t for the life of me give a flying fuck about Baela and Rhaena right now because they aren’t there for representation. They are white characters in their core, race swept for inclusion points and so the writers feel better about themselves, while giving these girls zero development or screen time worthy of their talent, all the while excluding a black character whose arc actually represented black people. Nettles is the one to be discussed here. I can’t for the life of me be “happy” about rhaena getting more storyline when that storyline comes at the expense of a black girl’s arc. All the power to their actresses and actors, but Baela, Rhaena and the velaryons don’t represent shit. Morning and Rhaena storyline line from the books can fuck eat shit for all I care about. It’s a fucking disrespect to have to accept scraps with black characters whose writers don’t even bother giving lines outside of serving white characters.

I’m 200% done with this show. I’ve been a fan of Nettles for years, the disrespect is insane. She has always been ignored in this fandom because she’s black, she has always been underrated because of her skin color and now she’s being erased for the sake of writers who want brownie points and people clapping for their choice of coming up with black characters who’s only purpose is to propel the white ones they actually care about. I mean, if starting last year is considered "late," then I'm also behind, because I only started reading things a few years ago lmao! But it's never too late when fandoms are still booming (for better or worse). So I see we're finishing out the mxtx novels.

Favorite Character: Wei Wuxian

Favorite Arc: all Drunk Lan Wangji encounters!

Character I Think is Underrated: Lan Wangji, if i have to hear “he’s boring” from people who can’t read one more time…

Character I Think is Overrated: all of the antagonists and villains. Jiang Cheng is not "single mother!jiujiu," he is just a bitchless Wen Chao. Jin Guangyao is not "poor little Meng Yao forced to do things against his will," he is a a calculating murderer who will scheme against, betray, and kill anyone who stands between him and ultimate power. Madam Yu is not a "girlboss" (unless we accept the real meaning of that word, which is a woman who gains power by ingratiating herself into oppressive systems as the female alternative to corrupt male leaders), she is a domestic abuser who made every single person in her family and husband's clan miserable.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: Wangxian

Something I Love About the Book: I love the way this book is adamant about good always eventually being rewarded. That even if the outcome of doing good was terrible, that does not make the effort wasted or useless. Lan Wangji protecting Wei Wuxian at Nightless City was worth it even if he was almost killed for it, because it made sure that the yin tiger tally did not end up in the Jin Clan's hands as a completed weapon. Wei Wuxian saving the Wen was worth it even though he was killed for it, because A-Yuan got to live. Wen Qing and Wen Ning saving Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian was worth it even though Jiang Cheng betrayed them in the end, because their clan still got to live through its last descendant. None of their actions were met with immediate rewards, but the larger implications of them led to better outcomes than had they just kept to themselves and the status quo of corruption, as everyone else had.

SVSSS (my favorite of the three 🤗)

Favorite Character: Luo Binghe, hands down

Favorite Arc: Holy Mausoleum Arc, cause y'all (Shen Qingqiu 😒) gonna stop falsey accusing my baby, today!

Character I Think is Underrated: Bing-mei version of Luo Binghe, not because he's "unpopular," per se, but because mainstream fandom's perception of him seems to be that he is just Bing-ge who cries, and this is a complete mischaracterization of his character based on popular fanon. I see too much hate for him in this fandom because of it

Character I Think is Overrated: Shen Jiu. The man was a child abuser and died to one of his victims because he chose to be a child abuser. There is nothing tragic or unfair about that. Leave that man in the ether where he'll hopefully never have a chance to harm another person again.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: Bingqiu

Something I Love About the Book: Shen Qingqiu. The man is trying his damndest to do right in what he considers a doomed narrative, but the moment he realizes that his efforts have actually made things worse, he immediately pivots his actions. He never tries to justify himself, deflect from criticism, or misplace responsibility. He has one goal in mind, and that is to make as many people's lives as he possibly can better than what they originally ended up as.

You know, I've wanted to talk about Taryn for a while because I genuinely think she's such an interesting character (and is SEVERELY underrated my god), so here are a couple of things I sometimes think about in no particular order: (and if I'm mistaken about any of those feel free to tell me!!!)

1) In The Cruel Prince, when Vivi brought Jude and Taryn to a shopping mall in order to cheer them up, Jude noted how Taryn is like a chameleon. That if they had to return to live in the human world, she wouldn't be able to adjust as well while Taryn probably could.

2) Despite people often portraying Taryn as a jealous/envious person (which I believe is partly true of course) that part of her has never seemed that big to me and I'm actually more inclined to say she was often on a fine line between being very driven and very desperate. Just like how Jude wanted to find her place in Elfhame, Taryn wanted to find her own through marriage. (Which, I'd like to add, is a totally valid wish in her situation even if it's not considered to be the more "girlboss" choice to make, out of all the things she has done/chosen to do, I don't think this is one if the things she should be shamed for.)

3) Although she accepted Locke's unfair conditions in order for him to take her as his wife knowing that Jude would inevitably get hurt, I believe she has always felt guilty about it deep down which is ALSO why she was so SO persistent with Jude in TCP. She wanted Jude to stop defying the fae because she didn't want her to get even more hurt than how much she already had (+ knowing that the reason Jude's being targeted in the first place is her fault, which is why she felt so responsible in making her stop her defiance.)

4) I'd also like to acknowledge how humiliating this deal with Locke must've been. People always think about how embarrassing it was for Jude but can you imagine how desperate you must be to let your "boyfriend" date your sister? Taryn saw him as a lifeline, as a way to survive and get some sort of power in Elfhame, and while she definitely didn't do it the right way, let's not pretend that she enjoyed it. Who would enjoy having a man play with you and your sister? This is pure disrespect NOT only towards Jude but also towards Taryn, which I find sad. This "relationship" was abusive and unequal from the very start.

5) Additionally, I think deep down Taryn always knew/understood that Locke doesn't especially care about her. It has been hinted at multiple times in the story that Locke didn't actually care which sister he would find that night he came to look for one of the twins and I don't even believe he properly knew how to differentiate them. Near the beginning of TCP there's a scene where Jude's and Locke's eyes meet (at that point Locke and Taryn are already "together") and he smiles at her, possibly because he might believe she's Taryn, and Taryn seeing that their eyes met, tries to get Jude to forget about it. So she HAS in fact noticed that Locke can't differentiate them at that point yet she keeps "dating" him. Why? Well...

6) The sacrifice line in The Wicked King, when it says Taryn looks more like a sacrifice than a bride. I think this was the "goal" all along. Taryn's whole thing is that she keeps making herself small and pleasant and "fitting into the picture". She is also shown to be more like Oriana than Madoc, Oriana who is known for being very careful and making the most "safe" decisions for her well-being and Oak's (+ always warning Jude and Taryn to not go anywhere during the revels and to not interact with the fae because they're humans and weak, and it would be dangerous for them). Taryn is doing the same with Locke, she wants security and some amount of power like Oriana who chose to be with Madoc for her and Oak's safety. Plus, again, Taryn obviously wants a place where she can belong. So ultimately she is "sacrificing" herself to Locke for that freedom.

7) In the lost sisters, Locke tried to make Taryn take pleasure in cruelty by making her dance with that fae boy then stealing her away and making her see how heartbroken that made the boy feel. And it did work somewhat but I believe the reason why Locke and Taryn didn't work out well together in the end is because Taryn is capable of feeling guilt. Locke and Taryn are shown to be similar in the aspect of "being good at telling stories" except Locke likes to make stories happen around him for his entertainment (Drama, basically). I don't think Taryn has that in her just because of that night in the lost sisters, in fact, that might've not even been the cruelty in itself that gave her pleasure but the power she had and was capable of having over a fae for once, instead of them having power over her.

8) Another reason why Locke and Taryn didn't work well together is because Taryn was unequally putting way more effort in this relationship than Locke was. In TCP when Jude and Locke are "dating", he gives her a tour of his estate and it's all mostly empty because no one gives enough of a shit to renovate any of it. Yet in TQN, when Jude is pretending to be Taryn, we see how his estate has changed for the better. Almost each empty room has been filled with furniture and the wardrobes have beautiful clothes in them. Showing how all of this has obviously been done by Taryn. Plus, why did the servant give "Taryn" (Jude pretending to be Taryn) a fairie fruit for dinner? Is it because Locke has made her eat some in front of his guests and Taryn complied to be seen as the "fun/pleasant" wife who does everything her husband tells her to? So maybe, just like how Jude was poisoning herself to build an immunity against poison, is it possible that Taryn was doing the same with faerie fruit? To build an immunity so she can still be somewhat aware of herself during Locke's maze/garden parties?

9) I think in the end, Taryn is more similar to the Ghost which is why they ended up hitting it off. Both of their thing is "being in the shadows/fitting in". Moreover, the Ghost does feel guilt for killing Oak's mother seeing how uncomfortable he got when Jude uncovered that. Plus he's half-human, so that will be easier to bear for Taryn instead of that bullshit Locke was telling her about "fae loving in a different way" to make her comply with his real-life sized drama club.

Overall, I like how layered all of this is if you look for it BUT I wouldn't say any of those conclusions/assomptions are especially difficult to reach if you're careful. I'm just kind of tired of female characters being seen as one-dimensional compared to their male counterparts who will get "understood" much more easily. My very hot take about TFOTA has always been that the truly gray character/problematic female character of the story is in fact Taryn and not Jude. Since Jude is the protagonist and we're always seeing her pov it's not hard for us to understand or be compassionate with her. i loved her first solo album and i have been ecstatic by how much love this album has received because her skills as a songwriter just grew exponentially. what a suave, confident and powerful album. 'till the sun goes up' and 'canada' - the duality of a woman...i'm in love.

dipuc — cacophony

if you're not up to cacophony discography, i would highly recommend this album. from the first track, it was like she's immediately tucking you into her coat - crooning you an intimate sonic odyssey. the run from 'Lean Your Body On Me' to 'End' had me screaminggg. for the season, the track 'Christmas' is gorgeous.

notwitzki — beenzino

dammit...he's still good. beenzino's technical prowess has not slipped since his last release and while i was ready to be punched in the gut, this was a surprisingly tranquil listen. truly just an album perfect for a relaxing night drive with the boys, the girls, and the theys. 'Travel Again' and 'Change' are standouts to me.

pat pat — risso

if you don't find one track you can't groove to on this, you may be entitled to legal compensation. a citypop album i can't get enough of during the summer. the disco track 'SPF' and smooth r&b 'daydreamer' should've hit them to the mainstream stratosphere. it's soooo unfair how they don't have a romance kdrama ost under their belt already.

love pt. 2 — colde

starting out with my number one spotify wrapped artist. what else is there to stay...impeccably engineered k-r&b album with solid bops, an underrated featuring track ('heartbreak club' is the best track of the year to me - the reggae influence, the smoothest beat switch of the album, chan hyuk's 2000s flare rap line delivery), and a surprise cover of a korean indie classic.

a chill, downbeat album to wind down after a long day with an ending that makes you wanna go back to the start. listen to this album just for 'Closet' where sumin and uhm jung hwa are just trying to out queen each other. obsessed.

it's been 5 years since his last release that i actually yelled when i saw the notification he released a music video because i wasn't expecting it all. as a long time fan, i loved the evolution you can see from 'oo' with the detour at 'zzz' culminating on this album. witty, eccentric and earworms galore, it's so solid. the lil ditty 'stranger' and the sweeping 'the things i love' (kim hae sol, you don't give me both a jazz solo and a choir in a track and expect it not being my immediate favorite) are gorgeous.

machine boy — silica gel

amazingggg rock album - i was blown away by the first track alone. you know they'd go so hard at concerts. also shoutout to 'machineboygong' for being a nine minute masterpiece which i recommend for you to listen at least once. it'd be remissed not to mention their latest album 'power andre 99' is astonishingly excellent as well.

my favorite experimental album of the year. if you're into electronic, this is a great listen. moody, dystopian, warped tracks that only spiral downwards to isolating madness. it's only four tracks and my fave constantly changes.

Best Underrated Anime Tournament Information

What kind of anime are eligible to join this competition?

Although I’m using the term “anime,” I don’t actually mean only Japanese anime. Donghua (Chinese) and Aeni (Korean) are also allowed. Any other “anime-style” series also count.

I’ve decided to use the term “anime” and not “animated show” or “animation” so that nobody will submit cartoons like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, etc. (Not that these are underrated, but you get the point.)

Anyways, only anime that reach the following criteria is allowed to join the competition:

It is underrated. No MP 100, Ouran High School Host Club, Yuri on Ice, and whatever other anime is popular (especially if it’s popular on Tumblr).

It is a series. No movies, short films, and the like.

It is recent. There are probably a lot of underrated shows from the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s, but I’d like to only include anime from 2010 onward. Why? Because I feel older anime will have an unfair advantage in being more known because they’ve existed longer.

It has at least one complete season. New anime that are currently airing and has no prior season are not allowed to join.

It’s in “anime-style.”

Note: Anime with multiple seasons will be counted as one. The year its first season was released is what will be checked to determine if it’s a recent one.

Can you explain Jimmy Carter to an Australian

Jimmy Carter was president from 1977 to 1981. He lost re-election to Ronald Reagan in perhaps the downgrade of the century. Carter was traditionally ranked as one of our worst presidents, but that's kind of unfair, and recently some (including me) have begun to say he was underrated. I think sometimes he gets memefied into being more liberal than he actually was, but he was liberal, and he has a reputation for being more interested in peace that other US presidents. His foreign policy was mixed bag, but he did refuse to invade Iran during the hostage crisis, and I think that counts for something. The peaceful reputation is somewhat relevant to the contrast with Kissinger. The American hostages held in the embassy in Iran were released immediately after Ronald Reagan took office and Reagan fans like to claim this was because Reagan was so intimidating but Reagan didn't really do anything. The Ayatollah's government hated Carter personally because he let the deposed Shah of Iran come to the US for cancer treatment. Jimmy Carter is probably one of our best examples of a Christian president, except he's the kind of Christian who's like "peace is good and racism is bad" so the "America is a Christian country!!" people hate his guts lol.

He was also kind of chill in other ways; they called him the rock and roll president because he had some musicians campaigning for him, especially the Allman Brothers, who played a big role in his campaign. Also Gregg Allman smoked weed at the White House with Carter's son and Carter 100% knew about it.

For many years Carter's reputation has been "not a great president, but a great ex-president" because the Carter Foundation has done a lot of incredible humanitarian work, perhaps most notably nearly eradicating guinea worm, a parasitic disease. He was also personally building homes with Habitat for Humanity into his nineties. He's also known for being a peanut farmer before he got into politics. He was married to his wife Rosalynn who just died for 77 years. So he has kind of a sweet old man reputation.

He's also 99 years old, beat brain cancer once, and announced he was going into hospice, like, almost a year ago? It was a while ago, and yet he's still kicking. So that's kind of a meme too among the kind of nerd who follows these things (me).

So the tl;dr is two really old American politicians, one associated with peace and humanitarianism, one associated with war crimes.

can I be honest for a second

I actually kind of hate the treatment argenti got when he came out

sure. he’s a playable 5 star, got his own companion mission, and as well as a boss fight.

but comparing that to other characters, he literally got almost the bare minimum.

sure not every character has a companion mission, but those characters will usually be apart of other character’s companion missions or even in events centred around them (take sushang and guinaifen for example).

and while argenti is one of the few playable characters to have a boss fight, the others still have more than him

gepard may not have his own companion mission, but he was a main character in serval’s and even received visitor verification after you complete it, as well as the fact that he actually stands somewhere in belobog so you can talk to him whenever you please. plus he was also in the main story quest, just not as a prominent character. and as well that he’s a boss and is fightable in world 3

yanqing on the other hand does have his own companion mission, has visitor verification, is a fightable boss in world 8, had a very brief appearance in the main story quest (if I remember correctly) but was also complacent in two other companion missions (kafka and jingliu’s), and is available to talk to whenever you please.

kafka has her own companion mission, while she doesn’t have visitors verification. she’s one of the main antagonists in the game and is quite important to the lore (it’s unfair to compare her to argenti but you get the idea, so I won’t elaborate on the other things she has)

while argenti has:

-no visitor verification

-no appearance in any main story quest

-isn’t available to talk to whenever you please

-isn’t in any events so far

you can argue that “dr ratio and ruan mei are new characters and they aren’t bosses, available to talk to whenever, etc” but they do have main story quests (one for each actually), ruan mei has technically her own event (it’s based off of her own creations but they’re HERS and plus she has her own cat design so) and they both also have visitor verification.

maybe im just overreacting or just too impatient considering that argenti only came out in the second half of 1.5!!! and plus he’s gotten loads of attention outside of the game with hoyoverse buying the naming rights to a specific kind of rose species and naming it after him and holding a whole exhibition!!!! you know!!!!

but it kind of does suck with how his companion mission was so good, but the ending just felt very incomplete for me? like it feels like they didn’t know how to just properly end it so we got that (not that I’m complaining though I loved his quest). and as well as how he didn’t even receive visitor verification??? despite expressing his wishes to return???? they could just pull a seele, bronya and jing yuan with him but at least with those three they didn’t really have like an opportunity in the story for that to come around (if that makes sense) and thus them being added months later. but it’s different for argenti, considering how all three of them don’t even have a companion quest while argenti’s only main appearance is him having one.

argenti in my opinion is definitely one of the more underrated male characters and idk it just really sucks because I love him a lot and it kind of hurts to see how he isn’t getting as much attention as newer male characters like dr ratio for example.

Lasko - Quiet, from Matilda

First of all. Let’s talk about the Matilda musical bc I think it’s wildly underrated.

Matilda is a VERY important story to me, I read the book when I was like 10 and got very attached to this story about a smart little girl who loved to read, felt different and outcast from her peers, developed magical powers, and used them to stand up to people who were unfair and cruel. Idk why on earth that could’ve been. -cough- undiagnosed neurodivergence -cough-

And so it goes, this musical is in my top 5 of all time. I think it has some of the best lyrics in musical theater, period. There are so many songs in this show that move me emotionally in a way no other show has, including this one. And the fact that it’s sung by an actual literal child is just a testament to how talented the kids in this show are.

This is the song Matilda sings right before her powers manifest for the first time. Ive been listening to some of the old Freelancer season 1 audios lately, and had an epiphany. This song is Very Much Lasko. This is a young Lasko manifesting his powers. This is Lasko right before he runs away from his family. I think so much of it is relevant in so many ways. And that makes me doubly emotional listening to it.

Debut: Should've Said No. I WANT DEBUT TV SO BAD IT'S NO EVEN FUNNY. She deserves better 😭. This song is so fucking great and the attention it gets is beautiful to me. Special mentions to Stay Beautiful and The Outside for being underrated as fuck tracks.

Fearless (TV): Forever & Always. Also an underrated masterpiece. You Belong With Me has moved up in my ranking since actually listening to it again because I initially slandered my poor baby for being so overplayed. I feel bad, I really do. Fearless and Jump Then Fall also have my strong love an attention. As an album, I'm honestly not a huge fan of Fearless but I'm honestly glad it got TV treatment first and we got Mr. Perfectly Fine so there's a lot I respect it for. One more thing, Hey Stephen is underrated as hell and I want my baby to have more love pls 🙏

Speak Now (TV): Timeless. WHY ARE WE SLEEPING ON THIS SONG IT IS SO CUTE AND PRETTY AND GORGEOUS AND GOOD AND AAAAAHHHHHH. People need to respect the final track on this album I swear. This isn't fair to Timeless. I Can See You follows as a close second and I can't believe I never noticed that Joey King was in the music video. Mine and Sparks Fly are obviously getting love from me because I love my sweet love songs. Rest in peace to Long Live and her spot on the Eras Tour set list. You'll be missed my darling. The rest of you better stop sleeping on Timeless, it's underrated as fuck and I will not hear any arguing about that. Respect my child.

Red (TV): Treacherous. I know we're not still sleeping on this one after she played it mashed up with The Alchemy. If you are, you have no taste. One her best bridges and it gets so slept on. I beg you, love Treacherous in all her sweet and pretty glory. Message in a Bottle and The Very First Night are also getting extra love as the underrated as FUCK vault tracks. Seriously, listen to Treacherous and appreciate her, we love her here.

1989 (TV): Style. You Are in Love holds second place with an almost super close tie. Yall can't argue with Style easily being the best song on the album. Even my dad, who doesn't like Taylor Swift, says it's the best one. It just is. I'm sorry. You Are in Love I've found new appreciation for after I SLANDERED the poor song in a 1989 ranking on CapCut. I'm redoing all of those because some of those rankings were just unfair. This Love gets a special mention as second best song on 1989, just not my favorite to listen to most of the time. I already have bias towards 1989 because that was the first Taylor album I heard in full capacity. TTPD is my favorite album overall, but 1989 holds a nostalgic place in my heart. One more thing, if you're sleeping on I Know Places, I need you to listen to it again. It's so amazing and needs to be appreciated for the gem it is.

Reputation: I Did Something Bad. I did some reflection on Repuation. I Did Something Bad used to hold my number 3 spot, now I'm not so sure. I think it's easily one of my favorite Tay songs ever. Maybe. This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things and Call it What You Want get second and third place here. I love both songs to death. I love Rep as a whole, Endgame just weighs it down so much. It feels so out of place in Taylor's entire catalog and everything feels like it doesn't exist. It's also just a god awful song I'm sorry 😭

Lover: Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince. I'm not a fan of Lover. I love a lot of the songs on it, but there's so much that holds it back in my eyes. Again, I'm sorry. However, we need to talk about the opening song in the Eras Tour because OH MY GOD IT IS AMAZING. I'm mesmerized by this track, it's just so pretty and the high school fairy tale told in the story is so fucking good and honestly has probably happened in my school, though I've never heard of something like that happening.Anyway, honorable mentions because that's tradition here. I Think He Knows and I Forgot That You Existed. Both are super fucking underrated. I Think He Knows espexlcially. I Forgot That You Existed is so slept on why do yall do this to my heart. Lover and Cruel Summer are the two overplayed songs that hold my attention, holy shit. I play Lover likes it's fucking drugs. As for Cruel Summer, Swifties just have fucking TASTE. Thank you for streaming the shit out of that song. Now all I ask is that you stream Lovers opening track because I've never heard such a good Taylor Swift song so slept on by Swiftie society

Folklore: Invisible String. I will never forgive Taylor for removing The 1 and TLGAD from the set list. My soul is broken from that. My initial favorite was Mirrorball, but I think I'm going back on that too, maybe as my number 2 or 3 song. I do think Folklore is her best written album. With that said, I also don't like it that much. Indie music is something I've come to enjoy and appreciate, but Folklore isn't for me. Invisible String and Mirrorball are my underrated as fuck track picks for Folklore, I love them both so much and seeing them slept on hurts my soul a little. Also, didn't she play Invisible String the other night? And I missed it? I'm sad about it. Trust.

Evermore: No Body, No Crime. EVERMORE IS HER MOST UNDERRATED ALBUM. And I know I'm not supposed to be capitalizing shit from Folklore and Evermore, but I'm a fucking perfectionist who capitalizes everything. I've never felt so attacked by an underrated album in my life. Holy shit. Stream Evermore wayyyy more than you already do. Beautiful music. No Body, No Crime DESERVES number one for making me fucking shiver at it. Ffs why are we sleeping on this? Also, Long Story Short and Ivy are getting appreciation from me. My babies, I love them. Obviously I also think Willow and Champagne Problems are also superior songwriting. I will seriously fight with people about Evermore. I became a different person after listening to this album. It's so much better than Folklore in a lot of areas. Please please please give her more love

Midnights: Midnight Rain. Here's my thing with Midnights. Or even with Red, I need to talk about Red again for a second. Red is my least favorite album. I'm sorry, it has a lot of songs that I love with all my heart, and songs that I will occasionally listen to and enjoy. But there's so many songs that drag it so far down for me. I genuinely can't listen to it without feeling disappointed in some of these songs. I'm sorry to break your hearts. Now, Midnights, also kind of falls under the same problem for me. I don't know how I feel about Midnights despite listening to it multiple times already and trying to form an opinion. I actually have an opinion on Red. Now, back to Midnight Rain. One of my favorite on stage outfit changes ever. I'm not even holding back on that at all. I'll say it until I'm dead. Obviously the TTPD sets change into I Can Do it With a Broken Heart is EONS better. I think this song is GORGEOUS. That and Lavender Haze hold the key to my heart I swear 😫. The Great War is honestly my underrated track here. I'm calling it underrated because I feel like it, leave my alone on that opinion pls 😭.

The Tortured Poets Department: So High School. We don't deserve Taylor. I love this song so fucking much and I can't believe I slandered it on first listen. I can't even respect my own opinions anymore. TTPD is an emotional rollercoaster and I didn't even think twice before I stanned Fortnight so hard. I just thought it was impressive that the song was actually good. I still need to listen to the remixes that came out. I haven't heard good things about them tho. I'm giving extra love to Cassandra and The Prophecy. I will carry these two Anthology tracks to my grave with me for people to just appreciate these masterpieces. This album makes my heart soar in ways I can't even describe. Also, the Vivienne Westwood dress on the Eras Tour? Favorite thing ever. I adore that dress and I want it.

1989: The green and purple combo. My two favorite colors made it into my nostalgia albums set list. I felt like I was 7 again just seeing the first combo of it. I almost cried I'm not even kidding. I watched a video of her performing Style in that exact outfit and I damn near lost it. I know this sounds stupid but listen, my two favorite colors present in the 1989 set is amazing. I know Folklore also had both colors, but 1989 somehow makes it more iconic in my mind

TTPD: Um... Vivienne Westwood dress. Duh. Like I said, I want one, I need one, it's amazing. I also think the black two piece with the gold blazer for ICDIWABH is also really great. Its just... that damn dress... I adore it with all my heart.

Acoustic Set: Green dress from previous tour, and current pink dress in Europe. I'm letting my biased ass pick the green dress her. I thinks it's very pretty and it's also green and I love green leave me alone with my green. I also LOVE the new pink dress. She's so gorgeous, I love looking at her.

Midnights: Movie Bodysuit. The way she shimmers OH MY GOD SHE'S BEAUTIFUL. I love the matching Karma jacket too. Seriously, I'm in love. Help she's lovely. I wish I could actually see the Eras Tour with the hope of getting that bodysuit and actually getting to look at it in person. I love her, I need her, I wish I was confident enough to wear her 😭

So yeah, those are my thoughts. Kind of biased kind of not. Thought I'm scared some Swifties her might get mad at me for some opinions. Just my opinion guys I'm not changing it to please anyone. Sorry.
