No, no I am not okay after watching the first three episode of The Boys’ spinoff, Gen V. It is because of this character arc. I am a trans woman currently navigating difficult waters with my father and good GOD THIS SCENE HIT ME LIKE A TRUCK. “I’m just… the kid addicted to their PlayStation. Who goes to Olive Garden just for the breadsticks, who binges Property Brothers. I’ve never changed Dad. I’ve always just been me.” DEAR GOD I was torn to shreds by that scene. That’s all I’ve ever wanted anyone to ever see. Especially my father. I’m still me. I’m still the kid addicted to video games, the one who can talk your ear off about Star Wars or Nintendo. I’m still me, Dad.

Jordan Li rocketed to my favorite character for obvious reasons but still overall I’m extremely eager to see where things go for them. They deserve the world dammit and I will fight till my last breath until they get it ON THEIR LAP!
