Peach

At first I thought the nickname was only used by fans (Peach is Jae’s favourite fruit), it’s competition being Pig emoji (and for Jaedo fanart Cat is usually used), but then in a programme (was it Idol Room?) every member got stickers with their names. Mark - watermelon, Doyoung - rabbit, Haechan - tomato (Limitless era, I presume), Yuta - takoyaki, etc. “Wah, the editor really did their research on Naver/Twitter”, - said I to myself. Then I saw the same happening on other programmes, like during the last Motion studio (Woo, Tae and Jae), Jae was called “Peach fairy”.

It seems, the members were officially attributed their fruits/animals, adopted from fans (in most or all cases), and the list is now given by SM staff to the editors. 

But that’s not the end of the story. When Johnny and Taeil played the game, where you have to guess a word watching your partner silent explanation with hands and body, Johnny pointed his finger at Jae, when he tried to explain the word “Peach”. Taeil didn’t get it though, asked Johnny afterwards and reacted with “he is peach? peach is this!” (turns and shows butt).

By the looks of it, if absolutely every member thinks of Do as Bunny, association of Jae with Peach among NCT is a relatevily new thing. Or rather, only some think of him as Peach. Mostly Jae himself, as he chose this fruit during the Liev (Doyoung was blueberry, JN - banana, Tae - ananas, etc) and he likes to wear this colour. 

Peach mic

I vouch for Doyoung to keep it. It’s pretty. He looked like a Sailor Senshi, when he lifted it, haha (he watched Sailor Moon and used “Crystal poweeer!” as a joke during one of Vlives, Victory ep. 3 or 4).

They filmed in the waiting room of a music show, so the mic have to be stage property of the channel. Pink is a usual colour for products like these. If there was only once mic, Doyoung had no choice (Vroom Vroom Mic, the mic he used during the Pilot TMI - it’s his theme), but if there were several… now, coincidences like these belong to “accumulative” evidence. 

Presently it is impossible to tell if Do chose the peach mic deliberetly, because it’s Jae’s colour, or it was accidental. However, if such things will continue to occur, then this incident, in retrospect, would become part of a puzzle. The puzzle being - do Jaedo really play the game of hidden signs and symbolism? For each others amuzement/support and/or for the public (normalisation of their relationship, boyfriends doing couply things in spite of society).

Songs

Same applies to the choice of songs. One can argue that “Radio Romance” was sang by Doyoung and Taeil and Doyoung did cover “Good” by Daybreak in the past, so that’s why they were chosen. On the other hand, these songs are relatevily old? One year and five (?) years respectively.  And the members sang the second song with Doyoung, so he probably sings it in dorms for them to learn the lyrics? 

Particular people, ideas, songs don’t occupy our brains for no reason. If something is not recent (”this tune I’ve heard the other day is now stuck in my head”) or not important, it dissappears. 

So yeah. Doyoung singing both songs to Jaehyun/remembering them due to being in love is a solid possibility. We can’t have prove, but the notion is not absurd either.

my first bias: i think it was chaeyoung. it was a short and slight attempt after the twice official lineup was announced and i saw a pretty fantaken picture of her on my dash.

your current bias and why: i actually have a top 3. nayeon, mina and jihyo. nayeon for being so playful and genuine, mina because she’s so soft and precious and jihyo because she’s truly one of the most caring kpop leaders out there.

favourite song: okay, i’ll try to pick just one. i think i’ll go with love line.

favourite mv: i like the mv for candy pop lmfao.

otp: hmm. not sure if i have one? i don’t really ship anyone.

member you think has the best smile: jihyo. god jihyo definitely. she’s got a million dollar smile, for real.

favourite choreography: do it again. it’s their most fun choreography in my opinion and man, i’d love love love love to see twice one day with another concept like that.

favourite dancer: momo, absolutely. not only that, but she’s probably my most favourite from all the new dancers this younger generation of groups has brought.

your current bias and why: sometimes i have doubts about who’s truly number one, so i’ve decided to wait until their finally debut as ot12. at the moment, the strongest candidates are jinsoul, yves and chuu.

my first bias: johnny. i was super excited when he debuted in nct 127 because he was the only smrookie who i knew and liked.

your current bias and why: yuta. dumbass answer? i actually had a random dream about him like a week ago. i think he was my classmate and deskmate? yeah, we were in high school. oh btw, you showed up in the dream too lmfao. and when i woke up, my brain was of course fixated on him, it’s just.. very strange. a more serious answer… idk. he’s so cute and playful, tho i admit i was wary of him at first. i knew some nct fans who didn’t like him and insisted he’s nothing but a jerk who bullies the other members, especially the younger ones? but dunno, i don’t see it. he’s got a very cute personality actually. and yes, i’ve been watching nct life and other stuff, it’s all i did this weekend. ok, i admit. caught red-handed.

Have you ever seen a ghost or something weird? Not that I can remember... My old workplace was supposedly haunted haha, I don't mess with stuff like that though, one whiff of creepy and I'm gone.

Do you know any more languages? which ones and how did you learned them? I can only speak English unfortunately and very little Spanish from my job which is like 50% Spanish speakers.

Would you binge travel? If I could absolutely, Im not an extremely extravagant person when it comes to travel so id like to go to places near by that I've never been.

Are you the kind of person who barely remembers their former classmates and the stuff they did on the classroom or you’re the kind who remembers at least most of them and some of the stuff they did? Definitely the later, I could tell stories from kindergarten with names and details.

If someone gave you one billion dollars with the condition of spending it in a week, do you honestly thing you’d do it? Yeah why not? if you can't have it after a week what good does it do you? Like if the condition were that if in that week I didn't spend it it would go to some cause then probably no. 

What’s the major event/concert/sports event/other you’ve ever been to? I saw Panic at the disco in concert a few weeks ago which is something Ive wanted to do since I was like 13, so that was a big deal to me. But most of my favorite artists aren't huge (or they are old af) I've seen a lot of them but at smaller venues. Im not a huge one for sports but ive been to a few hockey games.

Is there a kpop group/artist everyone insists you should stan yet you just can’t because it doesn’t ring your bell/it’s not your cup of tea? Top 15 Kpop Songs in 2016 Challenge

Ok this was super hard to do so I have a list of some honourable mentions at the end as well BECAUSE THEY ALL DESERVE TO MENTIONED )’:

For me, top songs are songs that make me feel happy/sad/dancy etc.etc. so they really produce a strong emotion within me OR the song itself is amazingly composed and original. I have a lot of ties in this because it was just too hard to separate songs based off different criteria I tried to use. So ENJOY!!! (I also tried to keep it to 1 song per group/band)

1. 아주 Nice (Very Nice) - Seventeen

This song was one which fit basically all my criteria and is absolutely AMAZING. The composition is admirable, the choreography on point and above all it made me feel so happy every time I listened to it. Once again Seventeen topped my list as last year for 2015, their 만세 (Mansae) was no.1 for me, so Seventeen I think, are killing the game. 

2. 피 땀 눈물 (Blood, Sweat, Tears) - BTS

Another amazing composition which was apart of an extremely well made album. BTS of course keep releasing songs which get better and better, and their choreography also keeps getting better and better. Loved the fact that Yoongi and Hoseok got more lines in this as well, though Jin should have gotten a fairer distribution, something which might have stopped this from reaching no.1 for me. 

3. Bermuda Triangle - Zico (Feat. Dean and Crush)

H.O.L.Y. S.H.I.T. when I heard this song was coming out and really WHO was in this song I nearly cried. This is basically THE collab of the year, one which everyone should be blessed with hearing. Honestly could have reached no.1 for me but it was released later in the year so I haven’t listened to it as much as no.1 and no.2.

4. D (Half Moon) - DEAN / Don’t Worry, Dear (걱정말아요 그대) - Lee Juck

Half Moon was such an amazing composition, so creative and of course topping the game like Dean always does. I didn’t necessarily listen to this song as much as other songs but it reached in my top 15 because it is such a note worthy release.

Don’t Worry, Dear by Lee Juck IS SO FRIGGIN GOOD AND SAD. For those who don’t know, this was an OST for Reply 1988, and is absolutely amazing. It is basically one of the most heart wrenching songs I have ever heard and would recommend to everyone. Amazing, 10/10, perfection, a masterpiece.

5. Monster - EXO / Cheer Up - Twice

Another great release by EXO. I honestly wasn’t a big fan of their EX’ACT album but this song made up for it. You can still catch me dancing this randomly in my room. 

Cheer Up was such a great song and release. Twice always release songs which I think everyone of all ages can enjoy and I think that’s an amazing feat alone. Literally learned the choreo to this by watching the MV a dozen times and I can’t wait for their further releases. 

6. Russian Roulette / Lucky Girl - Red Velvet

I couldn’t choose between these 2 songs because they’re both so amazing. Russian roulette and lucky girl are amazing compositions and I still can’t stop listening to them. I love the runs in lucky girl and I find that Red Velvet tend to release a wider variety of songs than other groups which I really love about them. Loving their album and i also loved their previous albums so kudos to them.

7. Hey Mama! - EXO-CBX

I LOVED THIS SONG AND STILL DO. Ok it is such a dance worthy song and makes me feel so happy. This was an amazing release and I loved this subunit. In the honourable mentions is also another song by them which I wanted to include in this list but I promised myself only 1 per group/band. As usual Chen’s voice kills me. (kudos to Baekhyun and Xiumin’s rapping as well, solid work)

8. Day Day - BeWhy (Feat. Jay Park)

Ok this is such a catchy song/rap too. I love this song alone because it gives me happy memories of my friends and I sitting on a swing-chair along the Han River and singing to this, so yes, I absolutely adore this song and find myself sing it everyday day (; (also Gray’s voice at the start kills me all the time)

9. 태픙 (The Eye) - Infinite

I am honestly never disappointed by Infinite and this was so friggin good as well. Also if you haven’t heard this live and MR removed, you aren’t living. One thing I love about Infinite is that every single member is absolutely 100% talented and can sing perfectly live, something I find other companies lack. Going to be so sad when their contract ends because they’re such classics and Kpop wouldn’t be Kpop without them. 

10. Fly - GOT7

Probably my favourite release by GOT7 so far. Love these guys, love this song, love the choreo. That’s all that needs to be said. (oh yes, also this album was my favourite released so far too, they keep getting better)

11. 에라 모르겠다 (FXXK It) - Big Bang

So glad they finally finished their MADE album, I’ve been waiting since last September (’: Honestly such a good song and only reason they didn’t place higher is that it took me about 2 more listens than other songs to really love it. The Kings of Kpop of course never disappoint though. (daesung my fav looks so hot though omg)

12. Carnival - B.A.P.

THIS SONG IS SO NOTEWORTHY AND MORE PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT IT PLEASE. Such a great, upbeat and happy song. I find this stuck in my head all the time and just love it to bits. Makes me feel so happy so one of my favourite releases of 2016. (it’s from their album btw not a mv release) (omg yongguk is killing still he needs to chill)

13. The 7th Sense - NCT-U

Amazing composition. Amazing choreography. Amazing vocals. Amazing rapping. Can’t believe this came out of SM though. Honestly loved this so much though. Not that in to NCT tbh, I know names but wouldn’t be able to put names to faces, but I appreciate this song a solid 15/10.

14. No 눈치 - Sam Kim (Feat. Crush)

Too many people are sleeping on Sam Kim, he is honestly one of my favourite soloists and all his songs are amazing. This was such a great release, especially after his Mama Don’t Worry which I thought was already AMAZING. Then my other fav Crush comes in and i die a little again. So yes, definitely check him out if you haven’t already. (he also just did an OST for Goblin so check it out too)

15. Home - Sandeul / Fantasy - VIXX

Home, and honestly his whole album ‘Stay as you are’, was phenomenal. I don’t think I could describe it any more than that, so listen for yourself. His album was one of my favourite albums of the year. 

VIXX also never disappoints me with their releases, and Fantasy was no exception. I loved this whole genre/theme they had going on, and I was in love with it from the first bar. 10/10 recommend to everyone.

today I wanna update my latest kpop favourite group, biased, otp, and why I love them. yes them. it's not one but many many people getting around. this list not just boys group but the girls group to. 1. INFINITE I am absolutely loyal (maybe not) INSPIRIT. always make Infinite first than the other group and this your gonna be my 5 year being Inspirit. why? why not? they are amazing 7 man that alive in this world. they can sing verywell (maybe need much slot for Sungyeol), they can dance verywell (hail Hoya and Dongwoo) and they can being nasty together. and I love this year gonna they 7 years together and I hope they can always forever till they can't dance and their voice going crack when singing. My Biased: you can look in my pp actualy. yes, the one and only almighty leader Kim Sunggyu. even many fans outside them not think Sunggyu is handsome, for me he is handsome man alive with single eyelid and tall nose. and his voice... don't ask how many time I cry just hear his voice. for me he is perfect. Biased Wrecker: today no one. this my confession. when I know infinite first, I really like Hoya than Sungjong come alive and getting pretty everyday, but than I know how beautiful uri leader are and then baam I love Sunggyu now. OTP: maybe the one unpopular OTP for Inspirit, but I love Hojong than Woogyu and Myungyeol too. why Hojong? I know Seungcheol being Tempest member with Nu'est JR, than what. and I watch Vernon in TTM too, but just him. so when I watch gayo daejunjae 2015, I watch all perform and still think "why they so many member" and forget it. the turn back time is when I watch them in weekly idol (so greatfull korea have this show so much), and wow they have so hilarious member group. and start looking for their other variety. first watching show was one fine day which turn not really one fine day for them, and lough till cry because of them. than, I watched their debut variety show, lough, cry, and this family make me falling so deep. they so talented, beautiful, and hilarious in the same time. My Biased: have I choose only one? can I choose them all? ok, so I really can choose one. they are so charming with they charm. but I looking so many Woozi pic. why he so squizy? ah yes, his not short, he is in the fun size. OTP: I am Jicheol trash. so proudly with this. ok... maybe many Carat's really love Jeongcheol and Soonhoon. but for me Jicheol is legend. they even married guys. and when you know Jihoon verywell, you know he didn't like skinship so much(?) but when you looking their predebut video. "how many skinship you have done with Seungcheol, Lee Jihoon? and you said this doesn't like skinship?" (okay I need to stop) PS: I really love them so much till scared. too much member mean too much brain to being one. and looking for their seniors (I know SJ and EXO before them), is not easy. and being SM stan for dunno many years, it's hurt look your group stan broke one by one. so, I just hope they never change, I know people change but I hope they are not. and stay together till forever (being selfish fan I am). 3. VIXX I love their concept. and being concept-dol not easy at all. because not just new music need to care, but what concept next must think so much. and their existence make they being one of many role model to watch off in kpop history. even sometime I don't really understand Ravi think when make a song (and the coreograph), they still good to know. and personaly, I love their personal so much. when first I know them, thanks for N, they are so not VIXX nowday (I watch Hyde first). but I really like their concept so much. so fresh, so new, so different. okay maybe not, because they debut when the alien debut (EXO and B.A.P). but they change to be good. My Biased: Leo. Jung Taekwoon. Lion in jungle. or whatever he is. okay first, you're Idol can you being like the Idol you are? but than I know he's just shy. and for the other member and Sunggyu (thanks again for weekly idol), he is not Leo on camera that we know. he is just... normal. but other than handsome, have high voice, style that I like so much, have killer smile which can kill his fans, he love kid and cute pet. too gap moe?! and he can cook to. love coffee so much, and really like sport. ok which one of you his fans and not watch his ideal type in Leo? I mean Hongbin or maybe Leo my biased wrecker because I like Hongbin first? so yup, like the other fans who look Hongbin because he is visual, I like him first. because I don't really like guy with long hair. pardon me? but than Leo cut his hair and... asdfghjkl OTP: the unpopular OTP again. is Taekbin. don't ask. please don't ask. I know they will debut soon and later, but looking them in I.O.I and their current group was different. is not like I don't like their current group. I like DIA, I like gu9udan, I like WSJN, and I like Pristin very much. but looking how different person from different management together so wonderful.
