It always makes me really sad whenever people call diluc "boring" or say he's just not an interesting character like Bro. After he had to kill his father because Crepus was in so much pain from delusion backfire, he returns home to find his brother is a spy. THEN he goes to sneznyha and spends around three years killing fatui soldiers, who by the way, have probably been raised to be soldiers since they were children. An angry 18 year old with a delusion caused such a stir that A HARBINGER HAD TO STEP IN??? Like. You don't have to like Diluc as a character that's fine, we all have different tastes i get it. But he's not just boring like?? Idk diluc in lore is fucking STRONG. He was a knight by like 11 and was calvary captain at 14. Had he not left the knights he would have been acting grand master instead of jean I don't doubt it. Idk man just give him a bit of credit he's not boring y'all just don't read character stories 💀

Hugos design i just wanted to put him in something more Loose. hes a thief, a professional escape artist. i dont think wearing clunky metal is ideal for him. i also gave him a prosthetic arm (blond w no arm design trope!) but u cant see it in the ref so i added another drawing of him in his under layering👍 i vaguely referenced russian(?) clothes for him as well... yong came relatively easy to me, if it wasn't obvious i did rip gaming from g*nshin's hoodie. i thought the lion hood was Adorable and freaking perfect for what i had in mind for hos character. since the og notes said the fire kingdom is loosely Chinese inspired i basically just kept that. i mashed tgt a buncha diff dynasties though sorry for how inconsistent i was... i think he looks Okay. anyways i changed yongs role a bit, ill explain why im adjusting some of their roles later but i kept yong as the Jinx Type character. hes the eldest in his family and has a buncha younger siblings, hes a lion dancer and does performances w his family/siblings. he rly like special effects n keeps tryna incorporate his fireworks into their performances (it flops and he has to sew up the dmg) ill explain more of yongs role in another post maybe shrugs... miss nuru was a bit of a struggle for me i might share my full design process with her coz i did a Bunch of mockups for her😭😭😭... i didnt have a specific country of reference for her but i chose to make her vaguely south asian inspired. i also really wanted to keep the sheer fabric w the star / constellation map. i love that idea its so cute so shes still technically the navigator. but she also wields a sword too, fencing or whatever. uhm below i made their character stats mostly to help me with planning / role developing. the yellow is their base stats the color behind is their end stats i guess. i was gonna explain my reasoning for their stats but ermm this post is kinda Really long so sorry😭... varian max int for obvious reasons, also max charisma just coz i feel like u kinda learn a thing or two being around a couple manipulators and spending time in jail idk shrugs... (also lets not forget the "ud b surprised what ppl would do for a cookie!") Hugo slippery guy, if a brick is thrown at him as hes running hes gonna try n run faster to shatter it, his mindset is Run Run Run! i think hes relatively agile too but yeah mostly a Speedster. i think he n varian got no Physical strength varian maybe just like A little coz Farm boy but I rly doubt quirin is making him do a Lotta heavy lifting. yong has incredible stamina and agility because hed a performer. nuru is the strongest coz this team would literally Flop without a proper Offense😭... i think varian n hugo r able to outwit plenty of their opponents but i think nuru is pretty good in a fight, same w yong. Imma be real for a second and say I love the way Jesse has scars on your art??? Love it when someone gives a character who's been through a lot of physical (and mental) trauma some kind of scar. It just emphasizes to me that they went through that. And the effects of that stay with them.

exactly!! jesse’s gone through so much that i’d be surprised if he didn’t have any scars. and i like to think he’s confident enough to show them off not as injuries to his body but as a part of who he is, like a collection of experiences and battles he’s overcome. hence why i have his sleeves rolled up most of the time (and also rolled sleeves…so gender…)

he’s got a bunch of other scars i never get to show off so here’s some scar headcanons as a treat! i wanted to give each major one a backstory so it’s not just there for aesthetics. the others are normal battle scars tho

either the order’s armour is made of impressively strong cloth and metal or minecraft block people are very tolerant to damage. although the logical explanation would probably be the damage can’t be shown realistically within the limitations of a minecraft game (not just on the pg side of things but also they are. made of a few pixels) idk it’s something interesting to think about lore/game development wise

if it weren’t for canon depictions i’d probably have the scar cover half of his body,, but i like keeping designs close to canon depictions so a big shoulder scar it is! i had it cover more of his back since he turns when being fished down to try and shield himself

as for the face scar! i’ve debated for a long time whether to have that as the origin bc i thought it was too cruel but it stayed in the end- it’s probably the hardest one he’s had to overcome despite it being the smallest major scar. every time he looks in the mirror he’s reminded of how he failed reuben. how can it be that he only gets a small scrape while his best friend loses his life? all because of jesse’s mistakes?

Explaining Childes rank and why he is much stronger than 11th currently.

My lazy ass was busy with work, but here i am with another post for the few people that will see it.

In this community if you are a Tartaglia fan you probably saw him facing a lot of downplay when it comes to his strength and how he matches up against some characters that dont really stand a chance against him( Diluc). So in this thread ill address most of the downplay people use against him and why its all horrendous and how strong he truly is.

Lets start off with how strong just being a low ranked fatui harbinger makes you:

What Diluc is implying here is that you can do whatever shit you want(almost) because of their diplomacy which is tied to their strength as well. This same Diluc who was happy to raid the fatui right after hearing Signora is here was rushing us to escape. Same Diluc FOUGHT some of the harbingers and has expert knowledge on sneznhaya and is one of the strongest in Mondstadt. Yet he still wanna gets out of there ONLY when he hears she is coming.

Now Childe himself: He fights the Traveler with 2 elements and only loses duo to resorting to Foul Legacy out of rage. Its stated by paimon and archives that fight was extremely close with Childe in delusion having a slight advantage.

To add onto this, this same traveler is AN EQUAL to Ganyu. Another character people believe smokes Childe..

Now we get onto the juicy stuff as far as Childes rank is concerned in 2.2 event that many people missed out on.

Shiki Taishou makes this statement after already seeing traveler in combat, putting Childe>traveler, same traveler who BEAT Signora who is ranked higher.

PAIMON, the person who watched Traveler fight Signora and knows about fatui rankings still believes Childe is the strongest one on the team. She also teases Childe and how we would beat his butt in a rematch, so we have no reason to believe she would be biased in his favor.

I even have the CN TL: 危險之中。我們不能讓他死在那裡！他是隊伍裡最強的 !- says the same thing.

The way we can explain his rank not being updated is a few things:

We learned from the natlan AQ that Capitanos rank wont be changed, meaning Dottore wont be promoted to his rightful nr1 spot.

We know pantalone didnt take signoras spot after she died as well, meaning updates are not as regular as they should be.

There is no proof Tsaritsa would be aware constantly of Childes progress, meanwhile Paimon and Traveler fought Childe, saw his progress in both his story quest and now.

With that mind, Tartaglia would currently be >Signora and by proxy stronger than anyone weaker than Signor and Inazuma traveler which is pretty good.

Now here is the part that the 5 people that are reading this are excited for. This is where Childe turns into an absolute monster and one of the strongest characters in the lore.

This might be the most MISSINTEPRETED fight in fiction by any fandom ever. I have never seen people downplay and overrate 2 characters present more in my life.

Lets head to 0:57. Childe, while in his delusion form still transforming, manages to react to Neuvilette OFF GUARD from behind and lands a scratch on him. Neuvilette also knocked him out, which doesnt actually require you to be stronger than the opponent if you do it while they cant protect themselves.

And yes, there are genuinely people who believe this wasnt a scratch on Neuvilette btw xD

And here comes the Narvhal fight which also people lie and spread miss-information about.

Childe only distracted the narvhal, he didnt do any damage!

Neuvilette underestimated the narvhal in the courtroom!

Skirk called him weak, while she called us strong so obviously traveler and Neuvilette clap Childe!

First point can just be debunked by...actually watching the Narvhal cutscene. We see Childe not only outspeed and physically overpowered it, but also scratching and piercing its skin. Keep in mind, this same Childe COLLAPSED right afterwards because he was fighting for many many days.

2)You know whats funny though?The same Neuvilette people hype up for quote on quote one shotting Childe, could not damage the narvhal without a charged attack and got his barrier popped in 4 seconds. He couldnt hold it off for 20 seconds and needed Childe who was on deaths doors to step in and save his ass.

Cant even tickle the narvhal.

Narvhal pops it in 4 seconds. Neuvilette would notice his barrier being cracked and renforce it if he was underestimating it for god knows what reason, but he didnt.

Childe outspeeds it so bad. It was just about to eat the civilians and Childe was coming all the way down from the portal and still overpowered it at 1% of his strength left.

Scratches it multiple times

Pierces it

Neuvilette was also aware that Narvhal is the root of the prophecy and civilians are under danger. There is no reason he would hold back the strength of his shield or attack potency of his attacks.

I wont spam the full conversation, but he was very well aware of everything and why it had attacked here.

Even the archives agree that Neuvilette cannot stop the whale alone and needs to team up with knocking on deaths doors Tartaglia.

And the FINAL point:Skirk was talking in relation to young Ajax. If people had actually read the dialogue they would know it. Paimon says how Childe said Skirk was very quiet and Skirk says she doesnt talk to weaklings. But that Childe...was just a 14 year old Ajax. Of course he would be considered a weakling.

Traveler also had his strength buffed by Neuvilette and fought against a narvhal that was weakened from all the fighting and yet it was still described as a tough fight for us.

Navia says its not at full power and Neuvilette in response to this even says he is grateful Childe delayed it for so long LMAO.

I would put his current rank at around 4-5, depending on how strong the Rooster is.

1 - I haven’t really come up with a downfall yet but since they view Nin as a mother it would be awful Raph would be hit the most because he has come to love Nin very much—mix that with him feeling responsible for letting that type of negativity get to Leo it would be a bad downfall

2. That’s hard to scale because their powers are so uniquely different ?? Mikey is the most magically strong he beats Raph without trouble however— Raph is physically stronger with his power and if Mikey came at him with just force Raph would win—while Donnie is not magically or physically stronger than he can build machinery that rivals both of them when it comes to the weakest power that is Leo who’s power is not for fighting but for healing and purifying things so I guess Leo would be considered the weakest.

3. I’m not very good at comics, but I do sometimes put out comic lores for YOTR i’ll probably never go in depth with the AU because I just don’t feel confident in my skills to tell a story  so I’ll probably just leave it as is with what I’m doing now putting out tidbits making animatics/animation with a side of comic lore :3

Niflheim Character Charts just dropped and they are the most interesting kingdom, here's why.

There are a lot of things to talk about I don't even know where to begin.

I've seen a lot of blogs here giving their opinion about them, and i wanted to do the same :D

First of all, the only kink that we maybe would've been able to assume was Beleth's, and honestly, that tobacco kink never crossed my mind.

Where do they even get these kinks?

They just get more creative every time.

I'm going to begin with probably my favorite Niflheim demon since today morning.

You have no idea how BAD I wanna know how he ended up surrendering his role as a king even tho he still wants to be the king, just how powerful Bephegor is?

Now a question I've always had that has nothing to do with this post, Who is actually the strongest king? Because every noble says their king is the strongest (except Andrealphus, if I'm not mistaken he said Beelzebub was the one)

But if we put some head into this question, Lucifer should be the strongest, but when they bring up the strongest king in the game either in the story, cards, or events, no one mentions him.

I don't know.

Something that seems interesting to me about his description is that:

They describe Niflheim as a lawless city, which is quite the opposite of what all of us thought since it's a military land and shit.

Did Niflheim become a "Lawless city" because of him and that's why Belphegor dethroned him, or did it become like that because of Belphegor?

And the fact that Agaros is described as the most insane guy in hell is ... crazy.

And gets even crazier when we remember Glasyalabolas, Abaddon itself, and Andrealphus are out there.

Also, it's said that he doesn't recognize Belphegor as his king, and unlike a certain jealous king that we know could never tolerate that, Belphegor probably doesn't give a fuck or is too lazy to bother, so he let him be.

Now, Vassago

Listen, I don't want to judge him this quick, but if there's something I don't like about some characters of the game, is when they are overly and extremely loyal and obedient to their kings, and it's something really common in whb, I like when the characters don't make that their whole personality and even when they're a bit rebellious, some examples are Glasyalabolas, Barbatos, Paimon, Leraye and more.

The thing is that Vassago seems to be the greatest of these types of characters, but again, I'm not going to judge him so soon, I'll wait until we get more information about him to give a more objective opinion.

Then we have Beleth.

I love his eyes omg, they look really simple but there's something about them.

I know the game doesn't respect much the fact that the nobles have ranks in the Ars Goetia, but Beleth is a king, and Agaros is a duke, and it would've been great if they switched their names, I don't know, I don't pay much attention to this since it's a game at the end of the day, there's no need to follow the canon.

Either way, Beleth is like a king in Niflheim, specifically a De Facto King, which according to my mom, is a leader who leads without being authorized to, and yes, this a very resumed definition, we still don't know why this happened, I had my theory that Beleth does as he pleases with Niflheim and Belphegor lets him because he's too lazy to bother, but it's said in his description that he let's people know that the one in charge is Belphegor so my theory doesn't make much sense.

I hope they clarify this in the event because this Niflheim lore seems reaaaaaally interesting.

Also, I think we all noticed, but now we know why he has so many bite marks, the dude gets laid every day and he probably hides a monster down there.

And Belphie and Him have matching horns AGhhh how cute (I have my theory that that's not a horn, but okay)

And now the main guy of the day.

I still have no idea what his kink is, as much as people explain it, I don't get it.

At this point, I think PB is inventing kinks because there's no way.

Him having Narcolepsy is expected, my bets for his mental illness were that and insomnia, maybe one of the reasons he doesn't appear (aside from him being literally the demon king of sloth) is because he has a very serious case of narcolepsy, but I don't know, we'll have to wait until we meet him.

I said this in a post I did before, but I love that he's 1cm taller than Satan and his dick being 0.1 cm bigger, PB did this on purpose obviously and I can't wait to see interactions between them.

Since we don't have an actual description of him, I can't say much, i just know I love him.

So far I think this is the most interesting kingdom, there seems to be a lot of lore behind them and I absolutely love that, I hope we get a lot of information in the event because of my calculations are right, there’s going to be a looooooong while until we can finally meet them in the main story (and since PB is taking so long with the chapters, I don’t expect them to come to the main story until next year)

Gonna go with Sootsnow this time— because there's so much to this man that I cannot fucking write or convey as I want to. (But I'll try here, probably won't succeed.)

Like I complain about him having so many kits but it genuinely makes a lot of sense for them, specially in relation to their personality- it also very much ties into why he refuses to share information about the Takers.

Look at this fool, he (in game) went from Responsible -> Lonesome -> Righteous- and it makes a lot of sense for him to have kits, because Sootsnow has 1) always been social, and 2) became a leader as a newly made adult, learned that beasts run around the lands he owns, and at the time it was only them, Silk, and a little later, Dew— so of course he'd be stressed out of his mind, refusing to go to gatherings and tell the other clans about Takers, because if they turn to blame Chasingclan they could very easily eradicate Chasingclan.

That's scary.

So, the triplets were a direct choice by Sootsnow to expand the clan and grow in power. That's also why Soot raised them as his mother did to him and Silk, because in his mind that creates strong, resilient cats.

They value strength beyond anything, which is why Moth went from being the favourite (some internalised bullshit from Riftjay that the youngest is the strongest and the elder are canon fodder) and when Moth couldn't fight, and chose to become a healer, Valleyfrost was the next best, especially with her abnormal strength.

This is also why Soot disliked Crane from the get go, she was the weaker link, the canon fodder for her siblings. Which is absolutely wild considering that Cranedance is the ONLY cat that has been in a fight with another cat, scarred another cat, and has killed another cat. She is consistently the only cat that never backs down from a dangerous situation. But because Sootsnow has already written her off he doesn't know anything about her or his kits.

Now— the four new kits, where born during Lonesome personality, the ones he had with Quiver, was an actual attempt on a family. If he couldn't have convinced Quiver to join the clan Soot would have left to be a loner with her. She just went missing before that could happen.

They're now Righteous and I choose to believe it's they fully think they're doing only the right thing. Sootsnow has to believe he's only done the right thing ever, otherwise he's strained so many relationships for nothing.

So basically: Sootsnow is a very complicated guy, and shouldn't be in a leadership position, and is very much crumbling under the pressure. And, in turn, is ruining his own relationships trying to feel in control.

Daitou would be intrigued by a race like Dragonborn or Githyanki. They look different and intimidating, which resonates well with him. He'd probably pick a class like a Paladin or Warlock, because again, he can relate to the concept. "Heh, that's a little like me and Boss, ain't it?" he'll conclude after you explain what everything means. Bonus: he'd probably relate a lot to Durge.

Kazuya would go for a Tiefling or Elf. Either a Bard, or some ridiculously strong combo like Gloom Stalker Assassin. He likes being a charismatic character, but also thrives for power. "What do I pick so I'm the strongest of the team?"

Kiritsubo might go for a Dragonborn because he's a dragon spirit himself; he doesn't really understand all these fancy names, so he just picks whatever feels familiar. Using the same logic, he'd choose either Fighter or Barbarian. "I just have to swing a sword around, r-right?"

Murasaki would be intrigued by the Githyanki or (female) Drow. The discipline, the reputation, the arrogance, they certainly feel like home. As for class...he'd probably research some multiclass combination in order to be an efficient jack of all trades. Maybe something involving Sorcerer, for the long range and spell variety.

Suma is a simple man. He wants to use his fists. Give him a Half-Orc Barbarian or Monk and he'll be happy.

Yuugiri would probably choose an Elf because they look nice. Then go for some Bard/Rogue combination, so he can steal, backstab, and manipulate people. "What? I can roll to convince the enemy to just...kill themselves? This will be my signature move."

Sakaki immediately chooses Deep Gnome. They're frequently enslaved and mistreated (at least in BG3), and he finds the misery poetic. For the same reason he'd go for something like Cleric, Trickery Domain. "I have been killed again. Revive me if you must: but I shall savor death's sweet embrace." Bonus: Probably a Shar simp.

Sekiya is amused by the idea of being a human. Becomes terribly flustered and embarrassed when you tell him it's considered a boring choice. Went for Warlock because it was recommended as a balanced choice for beginners. Has been killed several times because he jumps in to protect his spider familiar. "You know what I can't summon again? The trust I could've lost if I let my companion die."

I really like interpretations of Magnificus' students before he did the shit he did so I whipped up my own! These are very head-canon heavy and probably go against some sorta lore so take alla this whith a pinch of salt.

The Belothed Dress-Code

I like to think Magnificus has a bit of a dress code for his students. He wouldn't be too strict but the main theme is typical hat robe boot combo and everything being oversized. Opinions on this code varies between students.

Sapphire Mage

Known as The Lonely Wizard in-game, I like to think that they are the most focused and grounded out of the students. I've writen the student's old personalities based off of their trial, so I decided Sapphire would be the busiest of the three- always up to something, whether training magic, finding a new hobby or finding someone to bother. Sapphire is the student who was trained by Magnificus the longest, so he is the closest to him as well as being the student who excels in card magic the most. The other two turn to them for advice. Think of them as the older sibling type.

For their design they change the least from their canon design. They're the only one to keep their robes long, only adding gloves and dangly moxes to their hat to fiddle with. I wanted them to look the 'neatest' out of the three.

Ruby Mage/ Amber

Known as The Piked Wizard in-game, I like to think she's the strongest physically as well as the most social with the other scrybes and their residents. Amber is the most exciteable and bold of the three pre-trial. She started her training just before Goobert, and because of that is a little closer to him then she is to Sapphire.

For Amber's design I wanted her to challenge the dress code the most out of the three, keeping her sleeves short and ripping off the trail of her robes (she tripped one too many times). I added the most accessories to her, including a chestplate, knee/elbow pads and laced boots. I gave her shorter hair as well. She is the tallest of the three. (I designed her before I learned Lonely is canonically 7'0+, and I'm not sure what to with that information.)

Emerald Mage

Known as Goobert or The Goo Mage in-game, I like to think he's the least experienced of the three in magic. There isn't a lot to say here, as he acts the most like his canon personality.

Emerald was a tough character to design. I latched onto how Goobert spesifies he was 'turned into goo' for his trial and I haven't seen any non-goo designs for him yet. @lego-block-man helped a LOT by suggesting a wyrven for his deisgn (though I settled on a dragon because i'm not creative enough BEFWBJEAVNF). I'm still a little uneasy about this design straying so far from canon but I still love it none the less. I wanted his interests in creative hobbies to show in his design, so I gave him a self-tailored hem for their robes as well as their sleves being pinned up and out of the way. He also wears velcro boots.

Hi Von! First off, I love tetro and you've done a great job! This fangan has actually inspired me to create the fangan ideas that have been rattling around in my head for the past year. I'm currently trying to do the character building and thought asking you a few questions could be helpful! First, how did you go about things like plot and character building/character design? Second, how did you go about assembling a team for tetro?

im glad youre enjoying it! thank you for the high praise! this got long, so ill put my answer beneath the cut!

one tip ill give before i say ANYTHING ELSE because this is my strongest gripe in the fangan universe: if youre planning on making something like tetro, or any fangan at all, DO NOT CAST UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO GIVE OUT CONSISTENT WORK. one of the biggest pitfalls in fangans is that fangan directors cast WAY before they actually need voice actors. if you arent yet in a place where you are going to be able to CONTINUE REGULARLY GIVING OUT SCRIPTS, you dont need to cast yet. focus on the other tasks!

in terms of plot/character building, you should consider what roles need to be filled in the story and what types of characters will be needed to keep the story interesting/moving forward. a lot of fangans struggle with having characters that dont really do a lot - not every character needs to be bombastically doing things all the time, but every character needs to have some sort of point in being there. it can be really tricky when youre working with the usual danganronpa numbers of 16 characters per cast, but take your time and really consider how you want your story to play out.

another thing i advise strongly is to make sure you're writing your characters in a way that lets the audience connect with them. the whole drive of danganronpa is that characters will die, so your audience needs to care when that happens. one of the biggest pieces of feedback i get with tetro is people saying that they like the whole cast and dont want to see anyone die - when you can cultivate that kind of cast, death matters. give each character something the audience can relate to in some way. you can still get interesting and specific with backstories and lore, but make sure the core of the character is something that someone can connect with. for example: harada. a lot of people probably cant relate to the idea of bullying people in their youth. however, many people can relate to the idea of doing something you regret down the line because you wanted to fit in or avoid trouble. the core should be something people can connect with. focus on that core!

in terms of assembling a team, i put up a casting call page! there are a couple different websites you can use, but this is the one i find to be the most effective. i only cast voice actors for tetro - other roles ended up getting taken on by people who were eager to do more work in the project or help out. i always say that if there's a job that needs doing in your fangan, you should be prepared to do that job entirely on your own, because the odds of getting help for free are slim. other people who know nothing about you or your project arent going to want to give you free art, video, music, animation etc., and from my experience, a lot of VAs will see a casting call full of calls for animators and artists and view that as a red flag. fangans are chronically unfinished, so make sure you can do every job by yourself if need be. learn whatever skills you need! there are tutorials everywhere!

hes gonna throw a sick punch to fyodor's face and yell at him before fyodor threatens to put him down (or throwz down) and lore dropz him on something

i also wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a "lmao, dazai is dead. why do you think he hasn't come to save you yet?" and since atsushi is already at his worst i wouldn't be surprised if he believed him.

smth else i think that is interesting is why hez even saving atsushi. (obv atsushi is the main character but besides that), probably to taunt dazai once he comes back from France ? having his strongest chess piece in his hand and quite literally at his mercy

he also probably has some prior connection to atsushi or smth. i also saw a tumblr post earlier abt fyodor dropping by to be like "lmao, ur the port mafia transfer, good luck bestie 🥰"

idk i'm just saying shit, i just liked this chapter despite my favorite found family getting OBLITERATED

Thoughts on JJK chapter 254 (spoilers)

Like we thought, this chapter was about showing us why Kusakabe is considered the strongest first grade sorcerer and it was awesome to see the utilization of the simple domain

Everything from making his CE output higher and weakening Sukuna's attacks to putting conditions into his domain like he would the actual ones fits with everything that had been established so far

The flashbacks discuss Kusakabe's skill further but I have 2 questions now about those:

more than ever this looks like there was an actual person asking about the strongest first grade sorcerer (and previously the strongest sorcerer) instead of this being a narrative trick. Who was that person though? This could be kinda important in the future maybe.

While the flashbacks are a good way to bring dead characters back, it's again noteworthy that it's a pre-Shibuya flashback. Makes you think why Gege made sure to not show us timeskip Gojo 🤔

It's always good to see Gojo though and I did miss his blindfold.

We get another tidbit of information that students of SD have to make vows to utilize it like Miwa but Kusakabe is again extremely good at using it from all angles, even when Sukuna charges and uses his slashes without using his muscles

Sukuna is also a little shit against Kusakabe but by extending the range of his SD, Kusakabe can prevent Sukuna from forming the necessary CE output to use his world slashing cut. Sukuna himself gets cut in Kusakabe's attack

Not gonna lie, I thought for a second that Higuruma was back in the fray until I realized that Kusakabe threw his coat at Sukuna

Some good old hand-to-hand combat. Last we checked Sukuna had Yuta's CE levels and even though that's probably lower again now, he's still on the level of a regular special grade sorcerer. Maki's wound is still afflicting him though

We already saw the extended CE sword from Maki's father and it would be good if we saw more of that but we've run out of swordsmen except Yuta comes back which he might.

Last chapter, we had an extreme use of shadows split between Sukuna and Maki. This chapter, probably to show how unserious Sukuna took this fight compared to Maki and how outclassed Kusakabe was, the shadows were lacking on him and Kusakabe.

But the moment Ui Ui comes to the scene not only do the shadows come, Sukuna's entire body is drenched in it, showing us perfectly just who the predator is in this scene

Sukuna going after Ui Ui is also a good tactic for how to disrupt his opponents' quick movement and potential healing of the defeated. That healing element will come back in the future at some point. I wonder if Mei MeI had been prepared to intervene for Ui Ui's sake or if this close call will have repercussions in the future

And then finally! We get a kinda important guy from pre-canon! Miguel was heavily featured at the end of the movie which showed us that Gojo had come into contact with him. This is coming to fruition right now.

This could be interesting with Sukuna when they starts comparing Jujutsu from Japan to Jujutsu from overseas. Some lore drop could come next chapter

I also hope that Kong Shiu will appear again e.g. when Megumi gets into focus once more. Shiu, more than Miguel, could also bring new cursed items into the fight and he could even be a completely new player with how unaffiliated he is with the good guys

Awesome chapter and the chipping away at Sukuna plot is still going. Things that we have to look out for at the moment:

Yuji and Choso coming back

Maki coming back

Yuta getting healed (most likely at this moment because Rika was still operational)

The Hakari/Uraume fight

Another intervention by a character fighting Sukuna, like Kirara + others to utilize her ability to the fullest

Forgive me, but I had another thought about Shadow in Rescue Bots.

From what you told me about both Cody and Frankie reminding Shadow of Maria, I just thought of a little scene where Shadow was with both Cody and Frankie, and during a moment where they really remind him of Maria, I imagined him either smiling or crying a little bit at them as they make him remember her.

Not sure if he would ever tell Cody or Frankie about her, but maybe when's he's comfortable enough around the pair, he might be willing to share a couple of his memories of Maria.

Again, sorry because I know this is so soon after my first ask, but I had to share it with you.

Of course, like I said before, my knowledge of the Sonic lore and its characters is very limited from what I have seen.

I'm pretty sure Shadow would keep himself all about Maria even if he is comfortable with the kids. But I do see him considering a bit of talking about his past, as well as asking the Bots if they know of any alien that is like him (remember, Shadow is the clone of an alien)

If there was a scenario where Cody and Frankie would show more of Maria's behavior and would make Shadow smile would probably be in a movie night. Just imagine the 3 of them relaxing, everything is calm, is a particularly cold night similar to when Shadow was in space. And when the movie is about to start both Cody and Frankie show excitement over their choice for tonight, Godzilla vs King Kong. Both kids start a conversation as too who is the strongest and there it is, the moment where Shadow sees Maria in these two.

A little smile scapes his face, but too fast before the kids see it.

I also want to say that Kade, Dani, and Graham would remind Shadow of Sonic, Nukkles, and Tales hehehehe

Also, do you guys think that Shadow would not trust Doc Greene for what happened with Professor Gerald??
