this is SO random, but i think one of the Worst things about the Live Action Pinocchio has Got to be the Pleasure Island scene. now, don't get me wrong, removing the blatantly racist stuff was the right move, but changing the smokes and drinks to candy and root beer Completely defeats the purpose of the scene. and NO, I'm not saying "they should have kids Actually drinking and smoking", that's completely absurd. The Point of the scene is the consequences, and don't give me that crap of "todays kids forbidden food is candy!" no, if you updated it to today it would be vaping and white claws (or something to that extent)

By using the candy and root beer, they've once again tried SO hard to play to the "everyman" (as in they knew parents would be flipping their shit seeing kids smoke and drink, so don't even bother bringing it up) that they lose the emphasis of what the story was trying to tell in the FIRST place. the point was to show the behavior was bad, and if the kid was confused by it, then that leads to a conversation of what smoking/alcohol can do to you. like i understand there's a whole "let kids just be kids" but i think especially in this day and age, these types of conversations are still important to have.

(Not to mention the fact that Pinocchio has like, NO consequences in this film, which Also misses the point, there are NO morals to this story, Pinocchio doesn't Learn anything, like if you're so afraid to show him making mistakes or being lied to and led on by bad people than there really was no point in making this film other than the greed for money)

loved how much more explicit the queer themes were in the nimona movie. practically squealed when ballister and goldenloin held hands in the opening scene - was kinda worried the subtext would get downplayed in the adaptation but nope!

i think tonally though i still prefer the original comic if only cause the characters are a lot more morally ambiguous & theres a lot of time devoted to showing a very cute villain/sidekick dynamic. i also really liked ballister as a seasoned supervillain who robs banks and initially takes his new sidekicks shapeshifting in stride, out of pragmatic acknowlegment of the abilitys usefulness

also i wonder why they cut goldenloins hair! animation limitations maybe? or maybe its meant to imply this version of the story takes place earlier in the timeline

ive never been interested in Saw before because I thought it was just gore porn, but the things you reblog about it make me interested. Is it good to watch?

“good” is debatable. im a big fan of practical effects, and the saw series has had an amazing makeup team to carry out the goriest effects you can think of, which drew me into it originally. i think the the plot is fun, theres a lot of commentary on morality and what its like to play god/be a survivor of gods silly little games. the characters have a lot too them imo, and while the fandom always takes them a step further, the movies do give you a lot to work with. the traps are also sick as fuck design wise and are never as straight forward as they appear which is fun

all that being said, it is a lot of gore porn. i mean like saw is know for having extreme gory deaths second to movies like final destination. and it can be pretty extreme gore at times and stuff that really makes you cringe (the needle trap makes me sooo upset) i also wont say it has the best cinematography at times. i love the dumb shakey cam and flashes but you really have to learn to love it

BUT overall the plots are dynamic and fun to me, and i think its a fun thriller horror series

Zhan, the black and white blade. (kfp4 OC)

Zhan is a panda who, many others, could escape from Shen's attacks with the sacrifice of her parents. They left her on a boat that eventually sailed in a Valley from the other of the country.

Zhan grows up by herself, stealing in the streets of the Valley. She learns how to survive and to defend herself using the martial arts she observes the kung fu masters doing.

She never knew where she came from, nor was she curious to find out. After having to teach herself to survive, she put the idea behind her head and decided to only focus on her future. She wished for something greater than her life. She wanted to learn Kung Fu. She had spent her early years watching the fighters of her valley and was practically self taught. Even if she had always difficulties due to her body type.

After Oogway sees her potential during a robbery attempt when he passes on that valley, he presents her to Master Goat. She is then subjected to physical and psychological violence, discrimination because of her body and species.

She grows hatred over her body type, and hates herself every morning for being the way she is.

Until, one day, Zhan nearly kills him in a desperate moment of humiliation and pain. So he expells her from her guidance.

By developing her own combat style while training with "Master" Crow, a crow who trains steet fighters for money, and the "villain" of the movie, she enters in the world of street fighting, and becomes feared in that underground due to her offensive, dirty and irrational fighting. In order to compensate because of her disadvantages. Since pandas and are not exactly the most "fit" warriors. And while Po knows how to live with it, she does not and hates herself for her body.

To cope with her inecurities, she acts cocky, charismatic and with a dark sense of humor. But Zhan is very vengeful, powerthirsty and ambitious. Ahe has no trouble killing to get what she wants, neither to betray those who are close to her. Zhan kills her old master in a challenged battle, and is planning to use Crow for power in the new kung fu order he is creating. Even if Po thinks shes being manipulated by her master and believes theres good in her.

I think she would be great to explore the morally grey areas of KFP. Like maybe we can figure out that the masters arent as good as they thought and actually held them accountable for their actions. She and Master Crow's other students, "The Black Feathers", who are basically a big villain family.

Zhan appears to be kind of a rival to Po, but it is such a challenge since they both are pandas. Po just discovered Pandas were alive and he cant help but to feel like it's just wrong to fight her and tries his hardest to turn her to the "good side". He will need to put his emotions to the side to be able to rise against her. Zhan obviously knows that and uses that to her advantage. Until, she gets tired of his persistence and is just like "Dude I already betrayed you twice"

Really deep inside, she is not entirely bad and doesn't do anything to innocent people and her want for power actually had some pure reasons, like wanting to make all people be able to do kung fu and to give a voice to those who don't have any. When she isn't able to outsmart all the new order her master wants to make, she eventually joins forces with Po, The Five and Tai Lung.

hi, i want to know what type you think i am, and if i am e7 or e9. thank you!

previously, i have thought of myself as isfp (e7) but i realised that i lacked a set of principles/ morals which is wat Fi is about. after reading more about the functions, i see a lot of Se and Ne in me, in that Se: i observe my surroumdings a lot, surroundings matter to me, i get distracted by them even when someone is talking to me. things like people dropping their phone, kids crying, what show the person in front is watching etc., Ne: i like to keep my options open, i like imagining myself doing things more than actly doing them. i work in spontaneous bursts of energy. i also need freedom of choice. i dislike people telling me wat to do and restricting me. making a routine/ timetable doesnt end well usually.

honestly, i cant fathom why i am so preoccupied with finding my "type" cos a big part of me just doesnt see the point, like i change a lot, i am inconsistent. i also mirror people easily like their accent/ way of talking, if they are more focused on logic or emotion. hanging out with more than 1 person is a bit weird, because it's hard to adjust myself accordingly so i tend to become a 3rd wheel.

ive seen many mbti posts but i only relate in bits and pieces across diff types. but a friend whose opinion i value a lot thinks i am an isfp which is probably why i am hung up on it.

however, she recognises that i can be v flighty, partly due to childhood trauma and partly because i feel too much and i want to detach myself physically and emotionally. that being said, when it's safe to express my emotions, i cry easily and a lot, like during movies. sometimes i even get headaches, fevers and nausea from very angsty stuff. (i dont understand people who dont cry during demon slayer, in fact, im scared of them.)

when making decisions i choose the path of least resistance. but theres one thing though: i felt that my previous job was treating me unfairly (logically speaking, it was very bad luck and carelessness but i felt cheated of my effort as a whole that i put in) so before quitting, i wanted to get even. i didnt plan or think in depth, i just did what i thought was fair to me. at first it was totally impulsive but later i did put some thought into reaching my end goal more smoothly.

when i first play an open world game (genshin) i spend 3+h exploring and having fun, not knowing abt the objectives. then i get lost and cant complete the objectives at all which makes me quit. heh.

This sounds a lot like E9, specially sx9. I don't see the narcissism and fraudulence of the E7 in you, if you're a head type I'll say that you're E6 - I think that you're E9, but there's an orientation towards justice and fairness that sounds super E6 in you, but it may also be FiTe.

I'd go for ESFP sx9 tbh. Specially for the "what's the point of finding your type?" part, Se users value practicity. But I recommend you to keep analysing yourself, specially regarding perception and what kind of information do you prefer - do you feel more comfortable with tangible facts? or do you feel more comfortable with big and abstract ideas? Don't answer this questions right know, your own psyche can be quite manipulative. Observe yourself, be patient.

Went and saw Oppenheimer. And honestly I have to say I liked it. I’m a chemist who loved quantum mechanics and calculus. Seeing a movie about a scientist, no, about the development of a historic moment in science. Well it was kinda nice.

That being said. I also liked it because it made me think about morals and the roles that politics play in science. And how someone can so easily go from being a well known and respected scientist to someone deemed horrible in the history books. I think theres a lot of gray areas with Oppenheimer’s life. With our access to history and knowing the outcomes and what has happened, its easy to see the bad side of everything. And we should. We need to acknowledge the tragedies caused by atomic and hydrogen bombs. The development of quantum science has a very dark history there. But at the same time. I can see how someone who loved theory and had the chance to put it into practice AND at the beginning hoped to be able to deter nazis from using their own atomic weaponry. Well I can understand how he ended up where he did. And I realize that its a movie and I haven’t actually done any of my own research on it and the movie could have fact wrong. But. I dont know. I liked the movie because it made me think about a lot

yeah children of god made me feel things . idk why but i really didnt expect it to be in the category of gay films that i consider to be mostly for straight people, the category of tragedy to invoke moral outrage against homophobia. ive been treating myself too good with these happy ending movies. theres a lot i feel like im missing because im an outsider to the bahamas. it ricochets back and forth between *painfully subtle romantic and tragic* and *almost hallmark movie-adjacent cheesy* in a fascinating way. when romeo was like 'i like you jonny' i said out loud WHY. the dancing scene brought me near tears . im curious now about the making of the film + the political climate in the bahamas at the time. its made me think a lot about which queer narratives are possible to get produced depending on the political context (practically speaking in terms of financing and in terms of ability to imagine). a topic id like to explore more :)

the warrior lady, who is the only LIVING woc in the film, got all the cool fight scenes but her only characterization was "likes surrogate daughter" "supports white male lead" "is stupid when not in fight" and "jokes about how she likes small men". like id prefer the movie be about her and not sad man with dead wife no.one billion

the druid lady existed PURELY as utility and as an external reward for simon (props for him having the only name i could remember lmao) to have his arc. her backstory, which hints at and involves a systematic/larger oppression and trauma is brought up like, Twice. she literally could have been an inanimate object considering all she did was be Practically Useful and had basically no characterization besides "strong morals"

simon definitely had the most interesting arc but it was still playing into "black man struggles for the attention of a white woman who has the moral high ground on him" and he needs the encouragement of the white male lead to do any of his personal growth

the paladin guy was absolutely the best part of the movie but spent most of his painfully short screentime encouraging the one white guy instead of ANY of the other characters and was not in the film nearly enough

tldr: diverse casts are awesome and we need more of them but also like. when theyre just there to prop up and further the story of your typical white cishet male lead isnt not making progress so much as giving short sided people ammunition to tell you to stop complaining

Whenever this happens, Tanaka will bring him homemade peanut butter squares, watch Disney movies with him, and talk his ear off about how proud he is.

I like to think they have a lil bond. So like Yams will deadass just send him a sad face, their established code (courtesy of Tanaka), and the second year is already asking Saeko to pack him a bag as he leaps into the kitchen to make peanut butter squares.

“Code Pinch” is what they use, so their parents don’t know of their plans. But the second Tanaka frantically says those words, Saeko drops whatever activity she’s doing without hesitation.

Ennoshita regrets having formerly left the team, because he felt so bad for letting the team down in the past.

Tsukishima is super stoic, as we all know. The only people he confides in are Bokuto and Kuroo.

He knows Yamaguchi has many issues of his own, so he feels it’s unfair for him to dump more on him.

One night during their blocking training, Tsukishima was totally spaced out and the two noticed, so they took him into a little supply room.

They sat in a circle in silence, both resting a hand somewhere on his body (I would say kuroo on the knee, Bokuto on the shoulder), until he finally talked to them about what happened.

They def do a two man hug when beanpole started to cry. And like mans sobbed bc he hadn’t cried in like 10 years.

Bokuto would just sing to them super softly until Tsukki stops crying.

And it just so happened to be his favorite Disney song which only made him cry more

Narita and Kinoshita are called “side pieces” by other teams.

As soon as they got to nationals, someone from an unknown team made a snide comment to Tanaka along the lines of “try not to kill your captain again, buzz cut.”

This absolutely triggered a PTSD episode in Tanaka and flattened his mood.

Our resident bad boy deadass teared up at the thought of it happening to anyone else. (OUCH POOR BABY I LUB HIM SO MUCH WHY HURT HIM EVER)

While Daichi went straight to him to help him, the random dude was faced with two scary teams.

Karasuno, and Nekoma.

I deadass think that bc of the way they’re drawn that Nishinoya bites his nails.

It’s not even a nerves thing, or a bad habit, it’s a mental thing.

Something tells him he has to do it.

Is so insecure about it, and constantly wishes to wrap his fingers before matches.

Every time Kageyama lashes out at a teammate, he goes home and cries.

And Tsukishima’s snarky ass comments don’t help either

He doesn’t ever want to be king again

Sugawara goes through random depressive episodes.

Like the super bad ones where all you can do is lay in bed for a few days and can’t feel anything but static.

Does he have someone to help him? Most times it’s Daichi, who will just come over and be this mf’s servant.

He will carry Suga if he has to. Mans has to get up and eat, drink and pee.

He does it without hesitation though. He never complains.

When Daichi isn’t there, or he can’t even muster the strength/courage to tell his friend, he goes through it alone and tries his damndest to go through the cycle he does with Daichi.

Sometimes he does it, most times he fails. He only gets relief when Asahi notices he isn’t at practice and immediately races to his house after it’s over.

When Hinata’s adrenaline runs out on the bus, his panic disorder kicks in.

The kid is intimidated by height and power. Literally he has to have panic disorder

He has the type of panic attacks where he can only squeeze his eyes shut and choke as tears leak from his eyes.

He also vibrates really badly, which alerts whoever is sitting behind him about the attack. It’s usually Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.

When it happens, Tadashi taps Tsukishima lightly, getting the mid blocker’s attention. He then wordlessly points to Hinata with a sympathetic look.

Tsukki nods and does the same to Kageyama, minus the sympathetic look.

You can see the heartbreak in the setter’s eyes as he somberly nods. He wordlessly places a hand on Hinata’s knee, alerting his presence.

“I’m gonna hug you. I know you can’t reply, but if you don’t want me to, find a way to give me a sign.”

If he can’t stand being touched at that point, Hinata will viciously slap his thigh.

If he can, he doesn’t do anything and lets Kageyama wrap him up and pull him into his lap. He whispers sweet nothing into the bb’s ear.

“Listen to me. Listen to my heartbeat. It’s only us.”

If that doesn’t work, Kageyama holds up a peace sign behind him to alert the two in the seat that he needs help. The two immediately rise to their feet without hesitation or protest.

Tsukishima quiets down the bus entirely and tells the coaches, as Yamaguchi takes Hinata into his lap and sings You Are My Sunshine and A Spoonful off Sugar. (Okay fucking ouch that one hurt more than Tanaka’s.)

Asahi constantly wishes he had a partner, and thinks he doesn’t because he’s unlovable.

He deadass has a playlist called “lonely hearts club”. And one of the songs on there is Matchmaker from Fiddler on the Roof

Daichi is overwhelmed by everyone coming to him with issues, but he never lets it show.

His coaches are the only ones who check in with him

Absolutely in stitches when it happens, like bb is just so overwhelmed that he cries and cries. Ukai wraps him in a super tight hug as he continuously whispers to him that “it’s all okay.”

Coach Ukai? Yeah he’s in awful debt.

He won’t ever tell the team, or Takeda. He doesn’t want to owe more money, or be seen as incapable of surviving on his own.

Takeda gets burnt out very easily

Ukai actually takes some time to help him grade!!

They put on a calming playlist and work together.

Takeda handles the essay questions and Ukai takes the multiple choice, since he has no fucking idea what he’s looking at.

Yachi really wants to be an actress, but her anxiety completely fucks up her auditions.

Oh yeah the team 100% puts on little skits amongst themselves.

Oh yeah it’s 100% for her

Kiyoko is so afraid of graduating.

She’s worried that she’s going to lose herself without having a group of rambunctious boys to take care of.

She’s also scared she won’t be able to make the same bond with others that she did with the team and the coaches.

@ 18: the questions weren't actually that strict! you could interpret them however you liked :) that said, im curious what you would add to the story? i love reading ur ideas and interpretations of the characters n stuff!

oh no prob, i did enjoy thinking of what i could change without adding anything new (i will talk too much if i dont contain myself) BUT since you have asked...

ill share these ideas as a general change to the series as a whole (WR and Acceleracers- also i will call Acceleracers AC for short if i need to).

There is a lot i feel needs to change- but two major points are lore (and direction of it in the story) and characters.

The lore of the series is all weird due to what changed between WR and AC, but its also too surface level. its for kids, its probably why its not so expansive. but it does leave a lot of confusion to me and while i would have to spend much more time to fully “rebuild” the world, i will give some ideas on what i would see changed.

One, at least making it make sense all the way through. i think Acceleracers had the best ideas but it shouldve been expanded on in WR- WR barely touched on actual Acceleron lore. Overall i would like to see the Accelerons 100% remade from the ground up. i LOVE aliens and alien society but i feel all we know of them is they race. and thats its. and sadly AC wasnt seen through to where we may have seen a bit more. but they need to be redone, with lore also point to exactly why the drones woke up when they did, what their drive is, etc. Why is Gelorum the way she is too, very important lor aside from characters. I wouldnt want the series to become a huge Lore Dump but there are moments where they intended to drop lore and they just. dont really do that, at least not well. Imagining the series with more extensive lore would obviously see it being longer than what it is, which i think makes sense. in the end if i was to properly write out all lore it would be a huge rebuild of 1) the Accelerons as an alien society, in depth 2) the full origins of the Drones/Gelorums (how they ended up where they did, what makes them how they are now and 3) a more cohesive plotting of events that would lead to lore revealed. also developing what “Scrim” and “clyp” were, along with the actual depth of Silencerz and how far back they go has been on my mind a lot. scrim and clyp just vanish from lore but in my headcanon backstory for Gelorum, i mention how those things existed too. if anyone has more specific questions on lore tho i can answer those individually! its just a lot to go over lol.

The characters though, oh god where do i start. not gonna touch on every individual (feel free to ask about someone and how i would rewrite them/change them), but theres a lot i would want to see different.

Theres some good ideas in the series that are just not explored much, or the actions dont feel like they have impacts. And many characters have literally zero backstory to go off of... Everyone needs at least some kinda origin in mind, doesnt have to be said but knowing where they come from is one key detail that i think is nice to drop some times. characters referncing locations, where they went, etc... its little but its good to have. In the WR comics, most of these characters do have origins! but theyre completely forgotten in the movies it seems. it would have been cool it WR tied together some of these ‘really good drivers’ and maybe they were in the same races together or something. there are 35 people and none of them seem to know each other at least not in detail- other than Vert and Alec who are clearly friends. Kurt Wylde was written to have done some “illegal��� modifications in a race, what is someone there knew him? what if it brought up tension/suspicions? Things like that, its all part of where they come from and its a shame the movies just dont connect them very well.

I think theres some specific characters i will give examples to ‘rewrtiting’ and most of it is AC focused!

Kurt & Markie..... i love them, really do! but after WR i just did not like where they went. i get it, kinda ironic for Markie to become such an opposite. buuuut it was a bit much to me. first off, i would actually expand on the “crime” and that would 100% change the outcome of the two. the period between WR and AC shouldve gone different and in turn, i think wouldve changed up MM and Teku completely! i want to imagine Kurt is trying to get away from bad habits after WR but, perhaps has a really good deal with someone who had also gotten him into illegal car part business in the past. he is tempted and ropes Markie in with the idea they could do so more secretly but are caught, and while Markie is nervous and young he spills all the beans, but none of that evidence goes to Kurt and he stays silent, managing to get out of it. However instead of Kurt going to Teku and Markie going to MM.... Kurt tries to join Teku in the idea of joining a less rowdy gang, but Vert believes full Kurt let his brother take all the blame- so they dont allow him in. He goes for MM, which takes him easily but this team’s energy really doesnt help him. In turn, Markie leaves jail and Vert is swift to allow Markie into Teku because theyre friends! and it helps keep Markie in a better place, not wanting to get back into bad stuff. The important thing is tho, this switch up wouldnt result in super harcore, asshole Kurt. i feel like instead, he would be in an awkward place of wanting to improve himself but MM’s rebellious attitude coaxes him into worse attitudes. AND... very much an oppurtunity for Gelorum to manipulate him once more, as the accelechargers are much more important to acquire, with multiple, we’d loop back again. in the end though! i could imagine the story would still bring in the same scenario- Markie gets taken by drones, Kurt saves him, they rekindle and Kurt also comes to realize he shouldnt give in to the ways he used to practice.

i think for AC, in order to find more interest in the characters,  a switch up with the teams would be neat. Markie and Kur swapping was always on my mind, but i have thought about Teku!Taro. I think it would’ve been cool to throw in an background guy from WR into MM... like Harrison Lau. some more familiar faces would bring interesting dyanmics considering their backgrounds. and it think it wouldve fleshed out the teams a bit more in places they lacked.

Another thing i think is clear is there is lots of unexplored potential. Like dyanmics i express with Markie, characters like Lani, Karma, Tork, etc... oh there is so much i would add for them. Karma has a weird thing with being mentioned to look like Gelorum, and her prefectionism too but it was never touched on. What if it caused conflict? What if it made her question their morals? Or with Tork- i would honestly just rewrite how he tackles Tone’s death and the resolution, that whole thing in movie was weird and messy and made no sense to me imo. Lanu had something going for her but she felt so disconnected from the WR characters in AC, which is a shame! oh there are so many to go over lol. i hope to tackle some of these loose ends in the fics i have in mind but yeah... there is so much to say about changing these characters!!

Hiya! I just discovered your blog and was wondering if you could help try to type me (sorry this is pretty long)

1. I’m currently pretty torn between the intuitive introverts. I was able to narrow it down to INTJ, INFJ or INTP. I’m about 97.2% sure I use Ni. The only thing that’s giving me a bit of doubt is I find myself occasionally learning for the sake of learning which I’ve found is a traditionally Ne trait. Despite this I’m still pretty sure I use Ni as when I go down a rabbit hole and start learning for the sake of learning its always about a topic that interests me or is entertaining. I won’t waste my time learning about something I find mundane or drab. I resonate a lot with Ni’s “aha” moments where the correct answer simply pops into my head or a vision suddenly seems clear or a plot holes solution suddenly seems painstakingly obvious. I also resonate with starting out with a broader range of information/ possibilities and narrowing it down to one or two things. Another intuitive thing I highly relate to is living in the future. If almost never living in the present, and a constantly fixate on the future. I have a distinct, clear, and well thought out plan for the next 20 years (give or take).

Where I run into a bit of trouble is when I try to figure out which judging functions I predominantly use. It honestly feels like I use them all (though I know you’re only supposed to be able to use two well). For example I plan out everything, and set deadlines for myself. My desk often seems really messy to others especially when I’m doing art. This isn’t because I don’t value cleanliness, but because it simply makes more sense to keep all my art supplies out rather than having to spend at least fifteen minutes taking them out and then putting them away only to take them right back out the next day. I set goals based off of easily measurable, external things such as time, or grades. I make daily to do lists that outline everything I’ll need to do in the day, and some stuff to focus on if I have extra time. With my to do list I also plan out the approximate time each thing should take. When coming up with a scientific theory, I take others opinions/theories and test them against each other, and current scientific laws in order to formulate the most probable theory. External opinions (in a scientific/ logical manner) mean a lot to me (I don’t really care about how people that aren’t my friends think of me). To me these things seem very Te. But then I’m always smiling and am a fairly warm person. I want my friends to be happy, and I want to help others. I despise emotionally driven conflict(though I love debates), and while I’m not afraid to disrupt it if it threatens my morals/ is promoting something blatantly wrong (factually or morally) I do really harmony. These seem like pretty Fe things to me. As for Fi, I rarely share my negative emotions, preferring to deal with them predominantly alone. While I may not talk about them much I also have EXTREMELY strong morals. If something is crossing them I’m not going to simply ignore it for the sake of harmony. While I tend to be private I do try to be as authentic as possible. My morals are derived by information I’ve collected and decisions I’ve made myself, rather than being derived by ‘the groups’ collective morals if that makes sense. To me these things appear to be very Fi. As for Ti, sometimes I enjoy learning simply for the sake of learning. The knowledge may have no practical use to me but if I find it interesting or want to learn about it I can devote hours to it. I try and come to the most logical/accurate conclusion possible, and when I’m offering advice I may offer additional advice that takes different variables into account. The truth is really important to me as well.

2. Reading. I absolutely ADORE reading(specifically fantasy/sci-fi/dystopian books or research/scientific articles about topics that interest me). For reference there was a period of time when I had some free time and I was reading 2 or 3 books a day? Read maybe 50 books in the span of 20 days? But yeah I absolutely love reading. Just he way the book sucks you in and deposits you and a completely new world full of wonder and disaster and ugh it’s just magnificent. And don’t even get me started on impeccable character development and eeee. The way rereading a book feels like you’re reconnecting with an old best friend or going back to your childhood home and *sobs*. I also LOVE trying to predict plot twists and character deaths. Most of the time I can predict things correctly and idk it’s really fun to just try and figure out what’s going to happen before the big reveal. And the rush of satisfaction you get when you’ve guessed something right- it also helps me brace for character deaths (sorta. For example I knew *the* death in the final empire [by Brandon Sanderson] was coming since nearly the very beginning [I had my suspicions since the moment vin was introduced] but I still sobbed when the character died. [a tad off topic but what caused me to cry wasn’t the death itself but another characters reaction to it. This is often the case I find. A death of a character I love leaves me feeling empty but what typically gets me to cry is the others reactions- for thus reason funerals usually make me cry. I should also add that I only cry when I’m alone. I’ve cried around people (that aren’t my parents) a grand total of 1 time.]

Uh and daydreaming. I’m almost always daydreaming. Ie. if my brain was a search engine or whatever one tab would be reality and I would consecutively have at lest 20 other tabs open. Some of then playing videos (daydreams) others supplying music(if I’m not actively listening to real music my brain cycles through songs I have memorized. Occasionally does this with book scenes too if I’m bored [yes, I memorize some of my favourite scenes, word for word, so I can play them like a movie in my head when I, bored) others containing random info (just me thinking random stuff) etc.

3. I guess how to solve some problems? Wether it’s a math or science problem, or an argument between friends, figuring out how to solve things has always been something I’m decently good at. Math and science just. Make sense. And then with issues between people I’m good at looking at different perspectives (even ones that I don’t agree with) and playing out different scenarios/ possible outcomes of different approaches. This lets me come up with a solution that will successfully solve the problem with the least amount of negative ramifications involved

4. Hmm maybe being present? I honestly feel like life is passing me by and I’m just immobilized on the sidelines. Im so far into the future that I kinda forget to actually *live* every once in a while.

5. Honesty? Truth? Morals? These topics are all really interesting as they can be kinda subjective. The line between honesty and cruelty is so small. What is truth? Cause while yes, we have some set truths (such as the earth is orbiting the sun) so many ‘truths’ are simply subjective and completely depend on ones perspective. And morals my goodness. The stormlight archive is a really fun series that plays around with things like what is justice? And honour? I won’t get into it now but it brings up so many really interesting questions regarding morals.

6. Perspective . I think perspective is such a fascinating thing. Just. Different opinions. Seeing the world through completely different lenses. Interpreting the same thing in utterly different ways. When toying around with an idea I find it really fun to try and imagine opposing perspectives. While I can find different perspectives really interesting, they can also well... get on my nerves to say the least. Sometimes someone perspective is just? So blatantly wrong? And has absolutely no factual evidence backing it up? And part of me wants to just just scream and it would be so much easier if everyone just. Assessed the facts in front of them instead of making wild accusations or whatever without anything to support them. But yeah overall I think perspectives are really cool and they’re part of what helps to make the world diverse and life so much less interesting without different perspectives.

The future. I’ve found a bunch of my friends find thinking about the future stressful but if I’m being honest I find solace in thinking about the future. Having things planned out and knowing what I intend to do/ where I want to go takes off so much stress. I lowkey live in the future and I honestly cannot wait till it comes, and I achieve my goals. While I might be a bit scared the future excites me so much more than it’ll ever scare me.

7. Maybe add some more stuff about the judging functions and feelings and thinking etc . I absolutely adore science and math. I literally do math for fun. I’m currently aiming to get my PhD in astrophysics.

Not sure if this is relevant at all but my biggest (harmless) pet peeves are my grandmother’s door stopper (it always gets stuck in the door and then u can’t get it out and the door won’t close properly- I have an unhealthy amount of hatred for that thing AHAHJSEJKSMDJDJDJJ) and when people say some variant of “you did good”. Like nO NO YOU DID NOT DO gOoD. YOU DID W E L L (Anyways theres my little mini rant).

I’m my friend groups therapist (sorta). While I’m really not good with words and recycle the same three responses I always let everyone know that I’m here for them and they can talk to me without judgement etc. While I really don’t know what to say or do I try my best because I care about my friends and want to help them. I love them and so I want them to be able to be happy. Im always smiling (though this is more so because people don’t ask me how I’m doing when I look happy than because I’m genuinely happy. Most of the time I’m he farthest thing from that). I’m a pretty warm person who’s always happy to help, however I’m very introverted. I haven’t had a single conversation with the majority of people in my class (I’ve had a convo with maybe 5. Talk to 2 regularly. There are 26 people in my class). I never express negative emotions (with the exception of stress- I panic intensely in the 5 minutes immediately before taking a test as this helps me to completely turn off my nerves while I’m writing the exam. I may also make a joke or two about my negative emotions with close friends). I should also add that when making decisions I value logic more and think thinks through thoroughly, examining the pros and cons etc. While I take feelings and emotions into consideration when making decisions they’re more like an additional variable to consider rather than the main driving force that determines my decision. If I’m feeling really emotional and I need to make a decision I will postpone deciding until I feel more levelheaded. I’m really not impulsive in the slightest.

Loki stared in shock at the woman who had just kissed him.  You saw a flash of emotion in his eyes and knew that look meant that he was contemplating stabbing the mortal.  You took his hand to remind him to keep his composure.  He couldn’t kill her, even if it had been her mistake to kiss him.  Maybe you should stab her yourself…

“Um, no. I’m Loki. Tom is over there,” Loki pointed to where Tom was standing next to Chris, nearly laughing his head off.  At least he seemed to know what was going on.  Loki relaxed a little, knowing Tom was in on it. He trusted Tom. 

“No, darling, wrong one. I’m not wearing the wig today,” Tom called over, laughter in his voice.  He came over and wrapped an arm around the woman’s shoulders while she was spluttering a billion apologies to Loki for the mistake.  “Loki, this is Katie,  she plays Y/N in the new Avengers movie. And my girlfriend,” he added a bit shyly.  That explained the confusion.  Loki and Tom were practically identical, except for their hair currently.  

Loki pulled you closer and kissed you softly.  “And this is my love, Y/N,” he replied to introduce you properly to your actress.  You had your own actress now.  You weren’t upset she was an unknown actress. Chris and Tom had been unknown before they’d been cast for the Thor movie.  

You found that you were amused by the mix-up and not upset.  Really, it was hilarious, or would have been if she hadn’t kissed your Loki.  And she was still babbling off apologies, bright red in embarrassment.  She’d definitely been checking more closely if it was Tom or Loki if there was a chance Loki was around.  

“Surprise?” Tom asked with a lopsided smirk.  He hadn’t told Loki or Katie about this bit of mischief.  

“I’m so sorry Loki!!” Katie blurted, not unlike you when you were flustered. 

Loki smirked, finally moving into being amused.  “No harm done,” he reassured her.  It was an honest mistake.

“The mistake is understandable, darling,” Tom reassured her and kissed her hair.  He was clearly relieved that Loki wasn’t actually upset, or going to hurt his girlfriend over the mistake.  

Loki nodded in agreement and offered her a gentle smile.  “I must admit that Tom and I do look a bit alike.” They were identical, but Loki always whined that he and Tom looked nothing alike. 

You smirked up at him. “About time you acknowledge that he looks like you, Noodle,” you teased him, trying not to laugh aloud at your victory.  You’d been trying to get him to admit it for months. 

Loki sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose, which he did when you were being particularly annoying.  “It’s quite difficult to avoid acknowledging now. Especially after that mix up.” You heard how much it pained him to say it, admitting he looked like a moral. 

You giggled and kissed Loki’s cheek, which prompted Katie to pout and steal a kiss from Tom. “Great now theres two pair of lovebirds,” Chris and Thor both groaned, practically in unison.  

You had to stand with the cast and get your pictures taken by the press.  You were actually included this time because of Katie.  A long while later, you were finally ushered into the theater for the premiere.  As soon as you were inside the theater and away from the press, Tom, being the gentleman he was, slipped off his jacket to place on Katie’s shoulders as he kissed the top of her head.  They really were adorable together. 

They all find seats in the theater, you and Katie sat between Tom and Loki.  Loki smirked, not to be one-upped by Tom in the gentlemanly behavior contest, and conjured two blankets, one over you and the other over Katie.  Tom inclined his head, acknowledging that Loki had bested him, and thanking him at the same time.  Tom could express a lot of things in one little look.  You and Katie thanked Loki for the blankets as you cuddled up adorably in them.  

Loki wrapped his arm around you shoulders so you could lay your head comfortably on him and pressed a kiss to your hair.  You settled in to get comfortable for the movie. 

The movie itself was pretty standard, some kind of adventure where Thor and Loki had to work together to fight dark elves.  It was the end credits scene that explained quite a lot. The post credit scene was of Katie’s character moving into the tower with a bright “Hi Uncle Tony!“ And Tom/Loki looking up from where he was reading on the couch in the common room.  They were setting up introducing you in the next movie. 

Loki raised an eyebrow at the scene and chuckled.  “We already know what happens next,” he said as he gave you an adoring look.  He pulled you into a kiss moments later.  You giggled as you returned his kiss.  He was being silly and doting.

You also noted that they were changing your story to make you Tony’s niece in it.  You’d have to find out later why they’d made that decision and how the hell they’d gotten it past Cap and Fury.  There had to be a reason behind the change. 

The blankets disappeared as you got up to leave the theater to go to the after party.  You placed you hand on Lokis arm automatically to let him escort you.  You were a happy, if a little sleepy, little ball of sunshine, as per usual. You all left the theater together with the press taking pictures of you.  

The after party was just across the street, so you didn’t have far to go. 

Right after you left the theater, you heard a noise that sounded like a car backfiring, though there weren’t any cars around.  You looked around, shocked and confused along with everyone else to find out what had made that noise.  You saw Thor reach for Mjolnir, which was currently hiding as a keychain in his pocket.  

You finally looked down and saw the red stain on your dress, just above your left breast.  You didn’t remember spilling anything on yourself at dinner.

Then the pain registered as the stain spread, too dark, too fast as your blood spilled.

The bullet had gone clear through your heart.

1. How old are they? in the comics, 12-14; logically, she'd be 20 rn but we all know that comics dont work that way, so shes stuck being 12-14.

2. What gender are they? cis in the comics but in all of my headcanons, xe's nonbinary (genderfluid; she/her & xe/xyr/xyrself).

3. What is their romantic/sexual orientation? lesbian/bi, still not quite sure but she knows she loves girls.

4. How tall are they? 5'2" bc I'm Me and no fav character is gonna be taller than me.

What do they look like? dark curly hair, piercing brown eyes; a cut through the left eyebrow; have many ear piercings, snake bites piercings, and a septum ring. theres four beauty marks, randomly spaced, behind her right ear, and she have a birthmark on the inside of her wrist. I've way too many faceclaims/fancasts for jenny, namely charlene chua (model), mable chee, leah lewis, jessica sula, haley or brianne tju (since they're both sisters and I can see them both as jenny).

6. What are their defining features? the cut in the brow, the piercings, and how xyr eyes literally glow in the dark like a cat's eyes due to xyr powers.

7. Does their name have a meaning? well, jenny is a diminutive form of jane which is taken from jehanne, and—as jennifer—the cornish form of guinevere; in the first case, it means "yahweh is gracious/merciful", and in the second it means "fair one" & "white wave" (it's a popular name too, anyway.)

What family do they have? apollo & midnighter are her dads, shen li min/swift & angie spica/the engineer are her aunts—basically all of the authority. xe's also the reincarnated spirit of jenny sparks so ig that makes j. sparks her sister or mother???? it's not really clear in the comics at all but in my hcs, they're siblings.

9. Do they have a good relationship with their family? eyup!!! a rocky relationship w angie & jack, but w everyone else yeah jenny does have a good one w them.

If not, why not? well with angie its bc of how kinda neglectful she was of jenny when xe was 5 years old. but they kinda sorta patched things up—they didnt talk about it and angie never apologized bc she doesnt see she did anything wrong so its... rocky. with jack.. he did make himself the president of america & made all the other governments in the world give up their respective seats of power and thus practically made himself the sole emperor of the whole world... so yeah, yeah jenny hates him for that.

22. Have they ever hurt or lost anyone? well... she did kill a few villains in self defense as a child so if that counts as hurting someone then yeah, she did.... and also lost apollo when he died in orlando's midnighter & apollo comic but then he came back so there is that.

Are they a good shoulder to cry on? ...honestly? kind of. shes the kind of person who, if you went to her w your problems, she'll just tell you how to solve them—them she's still supportive of her friends & family, dont get me wrong, but shes first and foremost a problem solver, and shes through a whole lot of bullshit bc shes perceptive as fuck too, so she'll take your problems and tell you how to deal w them but only after you calmed down from crying your eyes out to her.

24. Are they well liked? we... never got to see that in the comics so it's up to me, again: yes, xe is.

25. How do they handle being complimented? takes it all in strides—the ego boost is nice, too, but xe doesnt let it get into xyr head. xe's humble and modest about it, basically.

26. Are they an affectionate person? with her words, yes, and sometimes even with her actions, but its only with people she knows & trusts.

28. What kind of state is the world that they live in? ... I mean, its complicated bc comics are like That so I've no idea. but also like, its 2020.

If they could change one thing, what would it be? bold of you to assume it would be just one thing—the thing is that xe could quite literally change reality to how xe wants it to be and no one can do anything to try and stop xyr from doing so... except xe'd hate xyrself for doing that and xyr conscious & morality is the only one thing that's really stopping xyr.

33. Are they a good person? yes. chaotic, but good.

Just to put it out there. Civil war will forever and always be my favorite marvel movie.

There’s Bucky content. Spider-Man content. Theres black panther content. There’s just enough angst to be emotional, but none of the main characters die. Wanda becomes true to herself, and you really see the different morals of characters and the diversity between them. Plus the bad guy actually has a pretty cool motive.

It also has a lot of comedy factors. Practically any scene with spiderman. And I love the interactions between the characters

Also falcon is just yes. Like I’m team captain America all the way but like yes falcon.

Meeting and Dating Ted Logan

- You and Ted met at the record store, he was trailing after Bill randomly stopping at records to look at all the odd album covers.

- He was walking past when he glanced up to see who he was passing and immediately walked backwards, staring at you for a few moments as you shift through the bin of your favorite band totally unaware of his presence.

- Bill notices Teds staring and goes over to you to play wingman for his friend. He introduces himself and you smile at him, saying your name in return and looking at the slowly approaching Ted.

- Bill calls him his best friend so you decide to introduce yourself to the very handsome boy.

“Like totally in love.” your giggle and smile egg him on.

- Bill air guitars behind you and walks away to wait for Ted as he attempts to win you over.

- He’s complimenting your music taste and clothes and he’s a doofus but in a cute way. His face is all pink and he’s grinning at the ground biting his lip.

- He asks if you’re bodacious self would want to hang out sometimes. Bills kind of genuinely surprised when Ted comes back with a giant grin on his face and a number written on his arm with pen.

- He calls you later that day with Bill next to him for moral support and to make sure he doesn’t make a complete ass of himself (Which Bill subtly told him he would do.)

- He invites you to a pizza place and you promptly agree to the date. Bill and him high five and air guitar once you’re off the phone.

- Missy excitedly insists that she’ll drive you two (because she is a wonderful woman who deserves the world). When she’s driving with him to pick you up she’s assuring him that everything going to be totally fine. She’s really sweet and you find it adorable how flustered Ted is while Missy talks to you.

“So is that your mom?” You ask once you’re in the parking lot of the pizza place watching the car pull away.

“Oh no that’s Missy, Bills step mom. She’s pretty radical.” You nod as he explains.

- The date goes great of course, he’s a little shy but his bubbly personality shines through and his dazzling smirk undoubtedly wins you over. Without a seconds hesitation you agree to another date after it starts to get late.

- It’s the start of something excellent.

- He’s constantly clinging on to you. He’s a big hugger and is overall just a pretty affectionate person so be prepared to have his hands on you whenever you’re together.

- Slow kisses usually with him leaning down and you on your tippy toes.

- He seems to always be smiling which is a pretty good thing because his smile is completely adorable.

- He literally only calls you babe, it’s kind of funny and kind of endearing. Whenever you see him you just expect a ‘hey babe!’.

- Leaning his arm on your shoulder whenever you’re standing together and he isn’t holding your hand.

- Playing with his hair, it usually starts with you brushing it out of his face because it always seems to fall into his eyes.

- You can always count on him being able to make you smile. Not to mention how much he loves your smile.

- He sort of trails after you like a lovesick puppy partly because he is in fact a lovesick puppy and partly because he’s more of a follower in general.

- Wearing matching bracelets. He saw a pair of them in a store one time and his mind automatically drifted to you. The next thing he knew he was walking out of the store with them.

- He probably gets a bracelet with your name on it.

- You probably wear his jacket more than he does. He thinks it looks cute on you and fully believes giving your jacket to your girlfriends is tradition.

- Hearing about his adventures in history, you almost don’t want to believe him but you can’t help it especially after you’ve seen all the evidence.

- It makes him so happy whenever you kiss his cheek. He always closes his eyes and smiles when he feels your lips on him.

- Piggyback rides.

- Being at nearly all of his bands practices. You make sure to cheer when they’ve finished a song.

- He plays the guitar for you; albeit much softer and slower than his usual music.

- Theres barely any fighting because this boy is incapable of getting mad. If there ever is he just turns more serious, he’ll never be yelling. The two of you usually works things out quickly and painlessly.

- His brother probably has a crush on you. Ted hates it. You almost think he’s jealous because you call his crush on you; and his brother in general, cute.

- Him always winning you prizes at the arcade, he’s almost ridiculously good at playing the games there.

-He loves whenever you smile or get flustered because of his compliments; he usually compliments you a lot just to see your face.

- Reassuring and comforting him when his father gets to him.

- Resting his head in the crook of your neck especially when he hugs you.

- Going on little adventures with him; ones that are much less dangerous than his time traveling.

- Making sure he knows he’s loved because his parents don’t let him know enough.

- He tries to spend nearly all his spare time with you, usually Bill accompanies you two wherever you go.

- Sneaking out to hang out with him when things get tough at his or your home.

- Calling you whenever he has a problem. He thinks you’re the smartest person in the world

- Him holding things out of your reach and kissing you when you try and get them back.

- Hanging out at the mall together.

- Going to the record store with him and watching him gush about his favorite bands and albums.

- Pizza Dates, the two of you sit in the garage surrounded by the bands equipment and watch movies on the tv they have down there.

- Him walking you to and from class every day, he insists on carrying both your books (and Bills; who usually walks with you)

- He writes you cute but not entirely creative notes. He uses a few lines he read somewhere else or that are in a song and also occasionally gets Bills help but you appreciate the sentiment.

- He always tries his best to keep you safe, especially if you join them on their adventures.

- I’m just saying you may or may not have kissed evil Ted without your knowledge.

- Snuggling with each other in his room when his parents aren’t home; he’s honestly such a cuddly lovable guy.

- He really enjoys just holding you in his arms while listening to music.

- Making sure he isn’t sent to military school. You have a special hatred reserved for his father because of this threat.

- His father probably likes you because you help Ted study and focus enough to get better grades but obviously you don’t return the feeling.

- Theres been so many times where you’ve been interrupted by his little brother when the two of you are trying to kiss or just hang out.

- He never really gets jealous. Mostly because he doesn’t really notice when guys are interested in you and even if they are he trusts you enough to turn them down.

- He asks so little but deserves so much.

- You get picked up around the waist and spun around whenever he gets particularly excited/ happy about something.

- Its not easy for him to tell when your upset but he always comforts you when he realizes somethings wrong.

- You’ll always share him with Bill, he will never only be yours. The two of them are practically dating let’s be honest with ourselves.

- Going to concerts with him, he lifts you up onto his shoulders so that you can see the stage.

- Kissing your face all over whenever the two of you are alone. You can’t help but giggle everytime he does.

- He wants to marry you as soon as possible.

My first side, Creativity. Hes an adorable disney loving Guy that calls himself the Prince, whos best friends with Passion, a girl whos way to obsessed with Shipping and Fanfics

Creativitys twin sister who never brushes her dang hair, Dark Creativity, aka, the other side of creativity. Dark Creativity calls herself the Princess, as if to make fun of her brother, she does like the title though. Dark Creativity is obsessed with Angsty Fanfics and often rants about dangerous stunts

Logic is a very reserved side who tries to always make Yvette Punctual. Logic hates jokes, but has an odd love for Moralitys jokes

Morality has a love for puns and stupid jokes, a silly, childish side who has a love for all the others, even if Passion may make some inappropriate jokes. Morality likes to go by Heart, seeing as she IS the source of alot of Yvettes emotions

Passion is obsessed with shipping her friends and reading Fanfictions. Passion controls Yvettes love and relationships, along with her motivation to work, making her good friends with Logic and Creativity

Anxiety is a lonely side who practically hates the others, but acts like a mother towards Fear, in all honesty she kinda is

Fear is a very anxious, shy side who avoids the others, often hanging around Anxiety. Not much is known about him

Impulse is Creativity and Moralitys best friend, frenemies with Logic, and teases Anxiety about her... Well.... Anxiety. Impulse loves movies and binge watching things with Prince and Heart
