âI wonât make it,â you groaned as your head fell against the desk.
Next to you, Steven looked up from his paper sheet âDonât say thatâŚâ he said, peeping at the notes you were reading a couple minutes ago.
You let out a long sigh âItâs true though! My brain doesnât want to retain anything! I keep reading and reading and urgh⌠still nothingâŚâ Your annoyance was quickly turning into anguish. Finals revision weeks were already so stressful but even more when your mind was refusing to cooperate.
âMaybe your need a breakâŚâ Steven said as he discreetly reorganised your messily displayed notes.
You huffed. It was your own brain and yet you still struggled to understand it. âNo! Finals are in less than two weeks and I feel like I havenât done anythingâŚâ Panic could be heard in your voice.
Steven took a proper look at your notebook âYour notes are messyâŚâ he commented. He wasnât meaning it as a criticism, he was just saying what he thought.
âI knowâŚâ
âTake these,â he said as he handed his own notes.
âBut⌠you need them,â you said as you shied away when his hands brushed yours.Â
Steven offered you a soft smile. âDonât worry, Iâll study something else.â
The silence settled again as you both came back to studying. Having Stevenâs notes might have helped you a bit but there were still things you didnât understand. You turned your head and observed Steven as he worked. He looked so focused- and so pretty- you could only stay still for a few minutes, watching him carefully as he pushed his glasses on the bridge of his nose.
Feeling your eyes on him, Steven turned to look at you, a smile finding its way on his lips âYou need help for something?âÂ
âUm⌠Well, I started studying trig- because apparently, my head decided not to retain any history- and thereâs a thing I didnât understand. Can you help me maybe?â
He knew you didnât like asking for help, it made you feel like a weak child that couldnât do anything with their two hands, and therefore he understood the effort it took you to do it. Most of the time, you would only come to him before an important exam when you already spent hours trying to understand and that many tears had already fallen on your cheeks.
He smiled at you as he put aside his own work âSure, love.â It wasnât the first time he called you that, he already let it slip out of his mouth a few times but it still made your stomach twirl inside your body.
He took his time with you, making sure you understood everything, even when sometimes you said âYeah, I get itâ after he asked you if you were done with a subject because you were worried you were bothering him, he could feel your lie and he would continue to explain.
After what felt like hours, you finally understood âThank you so much,â you said, reassured.
âYouâre feeling a little better?â he asked. You had to admit you felt more confident now thanks to him.
You let out a relieved sigh âYeah, thank you, geniusâ. Steven let out a quiet chuckle at your comment. Your eyebrows frowned in confusion when he started to put all the notes and books aside. âWhat are you doing?â
âYou deserve a break, Y/n.â He got up, holding his hand out for you to take âFollow me! Itâs not a thirty minutes break thatâs going to make you fail. Plus- youâll succeed I know it. Thereâs nothing to worry about.â

Betty, la fea: la historia continĂşa
Episode 1 â Reunited (but it doesnât feel so good)
I canât begin to explain how excited I was for this. That we would be able not only to see our beloved characters again after so very long, and most of all, that we would be able to see Betty and Armando together again.
At first, there was a lot of speculation about the series' plot â and not much information to go on.
And the problem with that is that the longer the wait, the bigger the expectations. And boy, were they big!
Ever since the wave of revivals became a thing, Iâve seen my fair share of them, and I knew that lowering my expectations would probably be for the best. I mean, adjusting it to something better than âEcomodaâ, but likely not as great as YSBLF.
Even though there were some very positive aspects such as how much the cast and production team seemed to love this project, or how happy they looked to get back to it, and also how much better JEA looks these days, there were other factors that I couldnât help but think would likely be an issue.
First of all, the length of it. We all knew we wouldnât get 335 episodes. Thatâs not how TV works nowadays, especially streaming services. And then, when I found out there would be only 10, I thought, oh well. At least we get to see them for 10 episodes, thatâs something⌠Better than not all, I guess.Â
But then, I didnât realize just how much this format would affect the story. Which is a lot, something we can feel right out of the gate.
YSBLF was fundamentally what fic readers describe as slow-burn. Which can be great for character development. But that also requires a lot of fillers, subplots, and sharp writing skills so that the audience wonât just get fed up and quit the show before itâs over.
Given how the target audience of the new show was mainly fans from YSBLF, I guess they didnât have to worry much about that. We already know and love the characters â most of all the protagonists.
But, then again, it has been over 20 years.
So, back to episode 1.
The previously on? Loved it! They did a fairly good job summarizing the main bits, though Iâm not sure it would have worked alone hadnât I watched YSBLF time and time again.
I love that they start with Bettyâs voiceover. Having a special insight into what was going through her mind was such a fundamental part of the story in the first place. Through Bettyâs diary, we got to know all the vulnerabilities that Betty had learned to keep inside, protected from a world that had been far too cruel to her. While with Nicolas we got to see her using humor to fend for herself, at night, in her strangely decorated room â I think all those dolls were meant to symbolize Bettyâs innocence and youth and remind us that she was a young girl, and therefore lacked the experience and malice to understand where she was headed to until it was too late. But it also looked like a grandmaâs room, and a very dark one, so, yeah, not great. I get it, it was a low-budget production, but did her room have to look like a place where one would find a captive? My guess is no. â Anyway it was through her precious diary that we got to hear Betty sharing her thoughts and dreams, memories and fears. So, when I heard Betty speaking, it just felt familiar and wistful. And I guess I was too distracted by that to be bothered by the wordplay they did there, trying to create a suspense that would only have worked if we hadnât watched the promo 150 times, give or take. I never thought I would say I missed Hugo, even in YSBLF I didnât care much for his character but he had me at the âDead Poet Societyâ reference.
Iâm still trying to understand Bettyâs wardrobe choices there, I mean, even though her âcurrentâ style seems like a far cry from wearing Don Hermesâs old sweaters, this one feels like it's too much and nothing like the woman we supposedly knew.
But I digress.Â
Betty shows up and we get Armando looking at her with puppy eyes and standing up for âsu Bettyâ right away, and well, I am only human and completely understand why Bettyâs knees would go weak and nearly throw her into Robertoâs grave.
So yeah, Roberto is dead, something we were aware of from the promo, but what does it mean to Ecomoda? And why was Betty gone until this moment?
Thatâs where things start to get messy.
I canât say I was surprised that Armando and Betty arenât together. While I hoped they still loved each other after all this time (and I still do), a relationship lasting this long must have a solid foundation. Which they didnât really have and we never got to see... I think they truly loved (and love) each other, but trust isnât something easy to gain and itâs even harder to regain after it's lost. The lies, the miscommunication, the tempers, all of it would inevitably create conflict. And thereâs no good story without that.
(This reminds me I really want to take a closer look at Armando and Betty as individuals, but I think I might save this for another time)
That being said, we get a bunch of info dumped on us in a very short time, and I had to watch it more than once to make sense of the whole thing. Letâs make a list:
Roberto is dead. (And so is Margarita)
Betty was gone and not by her choice, according to her. But then Armando says they are not together and that *is* her choice, so what then?
I really really like the way Armando looks at Betty when she asks him how he is. It screams familiarity with a hint of fondness (?) Oh these twoâŚ
Don Hermes shows up and Iâm intrigued. He uses his famous catchphrase while dragging Betty away from Armando and when he stands next to his daughter, it makes me think he too is aware of Bettyâs situation with her 'ex', and I donât know, but whatever happened, it made him forego the sanctity of matrimony, which seems like a big thing to such a traditional man like him.
Hugo hasnât changed a bit.
And Betty is still the clumsy, self-conscious Betty under all that fur.
There is a camera and suspense. Not my cup of tea, but ok.
Marcela seems a bit more civil around Betty, which is to be expected after so long, but still her (by now more than comprehensible) resentment seems to be alive and well.
Don Hermes mentions leaving fresh flowers to Dona Julia, but itâs such a short comment that it barely registers.
Patricia is apparently married to a mummy called Francisco Santamaria (Wasnât there a lawyer with that name in YSBLF?) which is not particularly surprising given her life aspirations.
I guess when we have only ten episodes thereâs no escape but to break the rules of âshow and not tellâ.
Next: A controversial topic, Mila Mendoza.

DEAD POETS SOCIETY SCRIPT TOUR!!
so um i watched dead poets society for the first time literally two days ago and im obsessed and maybe have scripted a whole ass dr already so buckle up folks-
i haven't really scripted that much actually-
so in my dr welton is a co-ed university and me and all of the poets are freshmen.
i scripted that there's no real plot, we're just depressed college poets man.
i scripted that welton has a colorguard (and therefore they also have a marching band) bc i did colorguard in high school and i miss it so it would be fun to do it and have the guys come to my performances and things
welton has a french club that i'm apart of
i am a member of the dead poets society and i'm friends with all of them!
my love interest is either gonna be neil or meeks. probably meeks tbh.
bc welton is a university in my dr i imagine things will be a good bit less strict
i'm also scripting the food is actually good- i can't have that mystery meat i fear i would perish-
anyways that's pretty much it-
edit: i forgot to mention that this is a modern dr so there's modern technology and media and ideas and everything

Hozier PAC Pick a Pile
I'm relatively new here and most of my serious PACs are on my other blog @suurfbluue
But this shitpost occured to me at some godforsaken hour after waking up. I'm also a Hozier fan. Go figure.
pick a row, pick a hozier, pick a song, pick the peat bog from which he crawls back to his lover. each row is one pile of three cards... what would Andrew Hozier Byrne think of you?
Row One: Brooding Hozier
Ten of Cups, Four of Coins, Six of Wands
You are a deep source of inspiration for Andrew Hozier Byrne. I cannot say whether or not he would crawl out of a bog for you, but you have a tendency to experience big, moody emotions and for that he loves you because he sees a kindred spirit with whom he can be himself around. You may have a tendency to cling on to things, but that's perfect because by the time you have finished with your feelings, he's written a song about them. You make perfect partners in crime living an intellectual, creatively aesthetic, and dare I say bohemian life together, sort of like in Dead Poet's Society.
Row Two: Happy Hozier
10 of Cups, 10 of Coins, 6 of Wands
Happy Hozier is a rare sight. It's not that the man is inherently unhappy, per say, just that he tends to selectively show his happiness. Songs like In a Week tend to show him as slightly melancholy. Otherwise it's hard to know what goes on in his head, and for all we know he could be plotting murder. Yet, oddly enough, you are one of the people he shows his slightly less dark and brooding side around. You're not a lyric inspiration as much as some, but you get something even better - Hozier cracking up. Yes, he may look like a forest deity. But he unwittingly reveals his humanity around you. Therefore, you are his weakness.
Row Three: Handsome Squidward Hozier
The Hermit, Three of Cups, 5 of Wands
Enough said. Hozier seems to lose all his charm and charisma around you. I don't know why. Gone is the man who wrote songs like 'Common tongue', 'Talk', and 'Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene'. Around you, Hozier seems to mess things up, slipping up just like he did with his handsome squidward filter. You still don't know what he thinks of you, because he can't look you in the eye long enough to have a proper conversation.
Note: This is just for fun and it's a total shitpost. I don't know why I made it. But it's there.

âBeware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful.â â Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
Expressions, The English Creative Writing Society of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, is home to aspiring writers, poets, avid readers and people who enjoy tuning in to their creative sides. In our society, there are no limits in the realms of inks, thoughts, words and dreams. There is a smorgasbord of emotions that we hone and nurture in our society, creating a safe space for all writers to express themselves.
Our society is committed to providing a range of opportunities to explore and experiment with a vast multitude of literature genres, writing styles and means of artistic expressions. Our monthly initiatives include Living Poetsâ Society (contrary to the famous Dead Poetsâ Society), Writer of the Month, Slam Poetry, Writing sessions and Guest Lectures. Each of these initiatives are crafted with care to provide a haven to the wordsmiths of our college, filled with ardent appreciation and love for their literary pursuits.
We also publish the work of our core team and open society members monthly and annually in our newsletters named âBrewed Beansâ and âExpressoâ respectively. Both our newsletters are inspired from the poet's love for coffee and poignance emanating from the freshly brewed cup.
Brewed Beans is a newly launched newsletter consisting of both theme based and non-theme based entries with unique, innovative and interactive components to increase engagement with the student body and to challenge their âcomfort writing zones.â On the other hand, Expresso is the cherished legacy of our society, reflecting the year long compilation of our creative pieces based on strong and empowering themes.
Like Sylvia Plath, in her famous book The Bell Jar writes about the hum of the heart âI am, I am, I amâ, at the very core of our society, the âhum of the heartâ is given utmost importance. We too are committed to create an environment where writers and readers from all backgrounds are welcome without any judgment or preconceived notions about a particular writing style or genre.
Our society is based on exchanging ideas, refining thoughts and providing constructive feedback in order to help the writer reach their full potential. With a myriad opportunities for growth and exploration, Expressions is not just a creative outlet but also a place where writers bond and help each other get over their writing and/or reading blocks. Creativity has no bounds or a set timeline and inspiration can strike any time. Being fully cognizant of this fact, we respect our writersâ creative cycles and find ways to make them feel fearless in their own voices by making them feel supported and loved.
Expressions is more than just a society. It is the epitome of diversity, art and literature. It is the go-to-place for feeling seen, heard, safe and finding what lies beyond what the eyes can see.

As someone who enjoys Taylor Swifts music, i have a confession
I donât love TTPD
Some of the lyrics just donât flow and/or they sound silly to me
And using two actors from Dead Poets Society in her music video like âyou take my ring off my middle finger and put it on the one people put wedding rings on could EVER make me feel what Todd Andersons poem made me feel
and iâm aware that considering the point of âSo high schoolâ i suppose the line âtouch me while your bros play grand theft autoâ is kind of on point
But calling yourself a âTortured poetâ and then producing that just feels odd to me like itâs so silly
And Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist?? Pookie
I donât hate her or the album and i am in no way trying to be a hater on anyone who loves the album because i unironically listen to Party in the USA and therefor have NO room to talk
PLEASE DONT HATE ME THIS MIGHT BE A HOT TAKE
I just had to speak my truth

âDead Poets Societyâ - by N.H. Kleinbaum
Hii! I just read dps and I wanted to share my overall experience with the book!! :) just to clarify, no, I havenât watched the movie before, I wanted to read the book first.
A quick summary!!
âDead Poets Societyâ is a novel by N.H. Kleinbaum, based on the screenplay by Tom Schulman. Set in an elite all-boys school, itâs about a group of students inspired by their unconventional English teacher Mr. Keating, to embrace poetry and âseize the dayâ. However, their newfound freedom leads to tragic consequences for one of the students. The novel explores themes of: conformity, individualism, and the transformative power of literature<3
My feeling throughout reading the book.. T_T
The book was really interesting and emotional, it truly touched me and even made me cry a bit.. which therefore doesnât happen really often when Iâm reading. The story was very intriguing and the plot wasnât too complicated, which Iâm positively surprised in..
The overall ratingâĄ
I honestly loved it so much đ I donât think thereâs anything I DIDNâT like about the book, except for the whole concept of Knox and ChrisâŚ
I give the book 4 out of 5 stars!ďźâšâĄâšďź

this past week I was tagged twice by my lovely gunnerinnas mutuals, about get to know me post type but since I am me, I'm just gonna use the floor for a rant (and therefore y'all can get to know me somehow??)
I don't get the Carlos Sainz hate LMAO???????? look. all I needed was two (2) particular videos of him to determine that he's one of the most tender, genuine, KIND sportsman I've ever seen. "if he's happy I'm happy" a line he said to Charles - "look, lando! there's no fish!" a line he said to lando on a sushi challenge McLaren video. fuck if those didn't leave such a deep impression cuz to me, that's kindness lollllllll however, other than just the usual surface an rpf writer does to research, I don't actively follow him as an athlete, idk about what he said/done. an anon asked if Charles is my fave driver and I said I don't have a fave driver. it's still true to this day. is Carlos my fave driver? not at all. so yeah I don't get the hate , which, from my observation, stems bc Carlos said/did something to a crowd's fave driver(s) and he's deemed as the bad guy maybe it's a good thing I don't have a fave driver ngl! not even a fave team LMAO
2. anyway as we're in charlos topic. I honestly 100% believe they fucked at least once. swear. both men have interesting ways to show their friendship. are they gay or European bs no they deffo fucked................... I can't explain but every time I see their interactions... damn..................... u can't convince me otherwise (don't take this too seriously, I'm just in awe with them I swear. don't post much about them but trust me if u can take a look inside my head...)
3. fave movies / series that I can think of right now:
dead poets society
inception
derry girls
ted lasso
castle
scrubs
midnight mass
midnight dinner (a Japanese series, it's on Netflix)

hello cyan!
i've been on a hunt for people's top 10 lists! would you be so kind as to share with me your faves for these? i'd really appreciate it!
a) movies b) shows (anime included) c) games (mobile included) d) books (manga not included :( ) e) music artists
i know it's a lengthy ask but if you would find the time for these, i would appreciate it so much really! <3
q.
Hello Q! I'm sorry it took me so long to respond, you gave me much to think about! Don't know why you collect these answers but I hope you enjoy them!
Some categories were hard to figure out but it was nice trying to remind myself my favorites.
a) top 10 movies
Princess Mononoke (1997) (easy pick, I love this one the most)
Dead Poet Society (1989)
Indiana Jones series (1981-1989) (I can stomach the Crystal Skull but I'd rather not to?)
Lord of The Rings series (2001-2003)
PelĂĹĄky/Cozy Dens (1999) (A Czech movie that literally means Christmas to me - it is a must to watch with my dad on Christmas Eve, the only tradition about that day that I actually enjoy, it's full of czech humour and history)
Noc na KarlĹĄtejnÄ/A Night at Karlstein (1974) (Another Czech movie, or actually a musical that I know all the songs to, seen an adaptation in theatre and it was lit as fuck)
AngĂŠlique series (1964-1968) (quite a questionable movie series in terms of sexual themes and women's rights but I do attribute my queer awakening to this character and that needs to wield some weight)
Children of Men (2006)
Batman (2005-2012 Nolan Trilogy)
Isle of Dogs (2018) (the first time I went over to my girlfriend's, we watched this... amazing movie, amazing memory.. amazing girlfriend <3)
(my practice animation of a Princess Mononoke scene for English class)
b1) top 10 shows (no anime)
(I don't watch that many shows that are not anime so this list is not really most to least favorite - only the top 3 are sorted, the rest is just written out)
Avatar: The Last Airbender (animated, not the Netflix one)
Castlevania
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Game of Thrones
The Boys
Invincible
The 100 (the first few seasons, the ending is insane, me not likey)
Helluva Boss
Arcane
The Umbrella Academy
b2) top 10 shows (only anime)
Wolf's Rain (watched it once years ago... will never watch it again because it causes me anguish, I love it though)
Yuri!! on Ice (it's a once-a-month watch)
Dr. Stone (during exam season I play it on repeat: 1st+2nd season on day 1, Ryuusui Special+3rd season on day 2, repeat!)
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
The 86
Sasaki To Miyano (healing my little gay heart)
Ao No Exorcist (I love the manga and the movie!!! show is just okay)
Death Note
Kimetsu no Yaiba (the first manga I've ever read from start to finish was this one and therefore the show holds a special place in my heart - also the quote on most my sites: "Growing old and dying is the beauty of the fleeting creature called a human being" is from the manga and also hanging on my wall, it's my fave manga panel ever)
SK8 The Infinity
Honorable mentions: Boku No Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Jujutsu Kaisen, Trigun & Trigun Stampede, 91 Days, Bungo Stray Dogs, Black Clover, Gintama, Link Click, Heaven Official's Blessing :)
c) top 10 games
(going to be completely honest...I have not played a single video game before 2019 - my family thinks games cause rotten brains and I agree with that statement, at the same time I love games.. justf FYI I am very inexperienced)
(another note: I LOVE open worlds - I like climbing shit and falling off cliffs, I love going on my own and fighting shit and solving puzzles)
Genshin Impact
Assassin's Creed (I love Brotherhood, have and like 2nd and Odyssey, have but haven't played Syndicate yet, HATE Unity [the controls suck ass], I watched some gameplay of other games, I love the series overall)
Honkai: Star Rail
The Witcher
Tears of Themis (I try and play alot of games like this but they don't have Vyn Richter so what's the point of them really? [insert megamind meme: no vyn richter?])
Minecraft (I like building, and one of my last memories with one of my besties was from multiplayer, I have our last world saved with a mausoleum in the place of his spawn - it keeps precious memories)
NU:Carnival (the fashion is offensively awesome, big inspiration for my character designs sometimes)
Legend of Zelda (sounds and looks like a game I would love but I have yet to experience it on my own)
The Silent Age (first game I owned on my own and played start to finish without anybody else's input, it's very simple and somewhat boring but I like the vibe and I like the independence I felt while playing it)
Destiny 2 (my PC has issues running it but I absolutely love it, also I have like 40 gifs of myself just dancing in this game..)
d) top 10 books
KrysaĹ/The Ratcatcher by Viktor Dyk (1915) (fell in love with this Czech required reading book during middle school, read it again for high school finals, still love it to this day)
Demian by Hermann Hesse (1919)
Sandman Slim by Richard Kadrey - the series has I think 12 books running 2009-2021 but I only have the first 3 (2009-2011) however they deserve to be on this list since I've read them like 13 times)
Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard by Rick Riordan (2015-2017) (I also enjoy his series with egyptian gods but Magnus Chase slayed)
The Inheritance Cycle: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Inheritance by Christopher Paolini (2003-2011)
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis (1950-1956)
Lady Pokingham Or They All Do It by allegedly Oscar Wilde (1879) (it's an erotica, a guilty pleasure of mine)
Smrt Kråsných Srnců/Death of Beautiful Roebucks by Ota Pavel (1971) (another Czech gem really)
Note to Self by Connor Franta (2017)
Witch Hat Atelier by Kamome Shirahama (2016-present) (I know you said no manga, but it's so beautiful! I even used it as a reference literature to my bachelor thesis - I HAVE to include it!)
e) top 10 music artists
(this list was an absolute struggle, I don't listen to music that much, and since my girlfriend has just such a great taste in music I mostly don't focus on anything and just go along with their recs)
Stray Kids (a remnant of high school days when I listened to alot of kpop - I still listen to some others but Stray Kids are precious to me)
Silverchair (my favorite rock band)
bbno$
Citizen Soldier (some of their music quite literally kept me alive through some rough nights)
Lemon Demon [two trucks holding hands~, two trucks holding hands~, the passion, the passion, is more than I can withstand~~]
Takayan (ăăăă)
CORPSE!
Grim Salvo
grandson
Nathan Wagner
I do listen to a lot of anime opening songs, and movie or game soundtracks and also to literally anything you make into nightcore version lmao.
Anyway, that's all I have <3 Thank you for this ask, Q!

4/17/23
I wrote a really good song. It is called Open Spring. It is five minutes. I started it last Monday and I have completed it. I just shared it with Seojin and her friend, who Iâve seen on Grindr. They were impressed with me. I shared it with Charlie as well, who brought me to a poetry reading tonight in NYC. They were really moved by it and that means a lot to me, because they are a really intelligent and thoughtful individual. They are also extremely emotional, which I appreciate. Right now, I feel elated, and therefore good. This morning I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, a prestigious honors society and I also went to the gym. I met Anne Wallen which was cool. I went to NYC and met a cool poet I guess who was a translator and liked that I was a polyglot. Charlie was showing me off. I felt important and real! I spoke French and German to a gay man. I walked on the high line with my eyes glued to Grindr. So what.Â
Iâm so tired. Yesterday I drank myself to sleep because I felt alone and pathetic and I do not feel like that right now! But, it still concerns me because I felt awful and I didnât know what to do to make it better. I felt bad, bad, bad. I was talking to Amay on Grindr and I told him I know about the DL frat dude and his OnlyFans and how I saw him and Simon at the Yard together (future me, does this have context?) and he was like, âwho are you?â and I said that âanonymity suits me tonight.â And yes, and whatever. I was a black hole of self. There was not one thing glorious about my suffering. I could not write or compose and even if I did, that would not have ameliorated the feeling. It is hard to be a person. Sometimes I live in a bad house (I am embodied.) I havenât written a poem in a bit which is its own sort of forewarning. In my drunken state, I ordered AirPod pros. So what? I am about to literally graduate college. (In a way, I was never supposed to get here - when did I start living?)
Dear Murod, I still think of you most every day but more like you are the sun inside of my eyes and I close them and the whole landscape of my spirit erupts under your fire. More like if there is a sun inside of my eyes it is because I put the summer away like porn on my computer the colliding bodies inhibiting the inert electric wirings of my consciousness Like here is enough light to burn darkness into flesh and bone Like, Murod, you are the best collection of neurons I have ever grown. The amount of times I have slept in your smile. The soft pink feeling right at the center of my chest is what a prayer feels like answered. I have lived through enough epilogues. Or my ear, on top of your chest, I heard the ocean of your breathing and drowning seemed like a destination rather than a consequence. Like I look into mirrors and eyes blink awake to capture this looking. If the passage of time had a body it would be a good one, but maybe very sad, like a too big tree which has seen too many years of Earth. Dear Murod, I convinced myself I can speak to the seasons, you are the baby in the barn, summer is meaner than winter, whatever is behind the moon you are likely hiding from me, you are not dead either, and whatever eclipsed horrible worse feeling crouching behind this paragraph is beating like an about-to-be-dead thing. You do not know the depths of my perfect suffering. I am hiking a trail snuffing out your shadow. I am trying to taste the worlds you have endured with the memory of your tongue. Bright summer mornings where you woke up and the sky aglow a soft shade of blue like it would flake its magic into the next world I actually witnessed the fate of being a person and know more than I could ever release to you, my one true love, destiny is a poem I will never write and I am staring at it and only when I am not in that place can I really communicate to you with my most genuine sense of self that I am here.
