did you know that is was possible that vincent van gogh didn’t kill himself? did you know is thought that he only said he killed himself so he could protect two young brothers?

the theory is:

van gogh was often bullied by schoolboys while in auvers. while at the time most people widely agreed that can gogh was “weird” or “odd”, schoolboys often plant snakes in his art supplies and, because he would bite the end of his brushes, put red pepper on them.

there was one boy that was fond of van gogh, though, often watching him paint and being a bit softer to him than the other boys.

his brother, though, was one of the bullies.

when vincent van gogh went out to paint in the fields of auvers, the boy and his brother were there too.

the brother was waving around a gun he had- a prized possession of his, based off of an american cowboy he had heard of- and ended up shooting vincent

vincent, not wanting to get the boys in trouble, went home.

claimed, adamantly, that it was suicide.

he did not mention the boys once.

i hope vincent van gogh can see the world now.

i hope he can see how much the world loves his artwork, how beautiful and moving it is.

but i can not speak truthfully for the world.

i can speak for myself, and to me vincent van gogh has always been an inspiration. one of the greatest artists. the greatest to me.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a hundred times. I don’t care if we don’t make it to the post season. I mean -it would be great!! But I grew up with a loosing team and I learned to love them unconditionally. So now when I have a winning team, im grateful for the little things. I love that we have a chance. I love how much fun the guys are having. I love how it’s bringing the city together a bit. I love how we’re putting Baltimore baseball on the map again. I’ll be thrilled if we just keep doing that.
