#there are shows that look beautiful yet all that beauty is meaningless

BL Land has had some amazing shows this year, but with one episode left, I can easily state that Bad Guy, My Boss is easily one of my favorites. No hesitation. I know it's not the best, but every single episode, the people behind the scenes have earned their paychecks. Consistently!
For example, I didn't need these two fools to declare their undying love for each other.
Because the show already told me they desperately love each other in the seventh episode when they got the pink lighting.
And I've been knowing these two were in love.
Because their colors have started to sync.
Unlike Fie Long and Run who are truly light and dark, and like it like that.
Pat and Elyes try to balance each other out.
And we see it in the colors.
Elyes and Pat are at the worst when they are at extreme odds.
Which is why their love exists in the colors.
There's grays and blues.
There's neutrals.
So in comparison to Fei Long and his tracker on Run's phone, it's clear that Elyes is lighter.
Because Elyes isn't going to magically be the lightest guy all the time, but the colors, wardrobe, and angles show us that even though Pat and Elyes are on the same side, Elyes cannot be as dark as he has been.
He has to comprise.
So to end this episode with Fei Long, all in black, slowly dissolving the barrier between the two of them.
And Elyes light and Pat "dark" in his blue/gray emphasizes that they really do balance each other.
So regardless of what wild loosey goosey shenanigans take place every week, the people working on this show all understood what needed to happen.
And they've done it, every single week.
Bless.
#bad guy my boss#episode eleven#the colors mean things#color coded boys in love#there are shows with amazing plots that drop the ball on the background noise#there are shows that look beautiful yet all that beauty is meaningless#applause to the production folks because every week they have earned their paychecks#AND A RAISE!

For better and worse.Â
Weddings are funny things. Despite the strict adherence to ceremonial traditions, they didnât guarantee a happily ever after. Exchanging vows and the signing of marriage certificates could become meaningless when a couple faces challenges that would drive them apart. Consider the high-profile divorces of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, or Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. Divorce had become so common that it almost seemed inevitable for many couples, even the ones with the most fairytale-like relationships. No one was safe from the idea of a divorce. So, was having a wedding really that important? Would it really define the quality and longevity of a relationship?
Satoru might have been thinking bitterly about it, given that his own marriage wasnât exactly a shining success. However, he was also being rational when he said that weddings werenât necessary to prove your love for each other. Early in his marriage, he certainly wasnât the best husband, but over time, he learned to genuinely become a good partner to his ex-wife. There was no specific time frame for loving someone. You could be together for weeks, months, or years, yet the depth of love you share might remain unchanged. This constancy can be either a blessing or a curse, depending on how deep your love was from the beginning.
Well⌠On the topic of marriages, Satoru had no good thing to say. But that didnât mean he shouldnât participate in it. Weddings were still considered a special celebration for families and close friends, and He would be selfish not to share in such a beautiful event with his best friends. Besides, wasnât it always expected that Suguru and Shoko would end up marrying each other? They were luckyâfortunate because their marriage was built on a foundation of genuine love. In contrast, Satoruâs marriage began out of convenience, which ultimately led to all the terrible things that followed.
As the best man, Satoru strode confidently alongside Suguru down the aisle, both adorned in princely tuxedos, drawing the eyes of the guests as they followed their procession. There were teasing remarks, smiles all around, and even a comment from one of the groomâs female cousins about how handsome they both looked. Despite the gentle commotion, Satoru understood why Suguru remained nervous as they reached the end of the aisle. He comfortingly stood by his side, offered a reassuring pat on the back, silently communicating to his best friend that everything would be alright.
âDonât tell me youâll back out now,â Satoru jested, whispering in Suguruâs ear as they observed the guests entering in accordance with the processional order.
Suguru, with his once long hair now neatly trimmed and slicked back, cleared his throat in an attempt to appear less anxious. âWhat if she gets cold feet?âÂ
Gojou couldnât help but tease. âShoko? You really think sheâd have cold feet?â he chuckled. âSheâd be the one dragging your ass back to this garden if you tried to run away.â
âFair enough.âÂ
Just the night before, they had checked into the Hoshinoya Fuji to celebrate Suguru's last night of freedom. While there was drinking involved, one of the groomsmen insisted it wouldnât be a proper bachelorâs party without some female company. So, inevitably, there were women in the hotel room, one of whom even gave Suguru a lap dance even though he showed no interest whatsoever. It was amusing to Satoru, considering his best friend used to be the biggest casanova, and now he was a committed and loyal man who, not only was terrified out of his wits on his wedding day, but was also afraid that the one woman he loved might run away from him.
Such genuine, pure love.Â
As Satoru pondered, his gaze landed on Akemi, who was seated a couple of rows back among the other guests. She had just arrived, her hair tied elegantly in a low ponytail and her silky sage dress accentuating her womanly figure flawlessly. She was wearing the diamond Tiffany & Co. earrings he had gifted her, which made her stand out among the rest of the people in that garden. Their eyes also met at the perfect moment, her gaze sparkling upon seeing Satoru in his tuxedo. He offered her a smile, one that silently conveyed âIâll be there with you later,â and she immediately understood.Â
How fortunate was Satoru to have her? Perhaps the reason for her late appearance was because she had been looking after Sachiro back home, fulfilling the duties that his ex-wife should have been doing. She was truly a mother who stepped up, especially during a time when both he and his son felt most abandoned.
And what about you? Who knew if you would even attend the wedding? You were meant to be Ieiriâs maid-of-honor, yet you were conspicuously absent. Perhaps you were still in Monaco, enjoying your time playing house with Toji, making a wedding like this seem insignificant to you. You would have informed Miwa in advance and picked up Sachiro if you had returned to Tokyo, right? Suguru also hadnât mentioned anything about your arrival at the accommodation, hinting that someone else would have to step in as Shoko's maid-of-honor.
But who would it be? Shokoâs cousin? One of her other female co-workers? Her high school friend?Â
âLook, mom! Sheâs beautiful~â
Satoru was rendered speechless, utterly captivated by the sight before him. His fingers tingled with anticipation, his heart raced in his chest, his feet felt rooted to the ground, and his eyes remained fixed on the next lady gracefully making her way down the aisle. He couldnât quite pinpoint what struck him the most: was it the sight of you in a stunning light green dress, resembling an angel descended from the heavens, or was it the haunting reminder of his own wedding day, when you walked down the same aisle as his most beautiful bride?
His breath caught in his throat, his chest tightening with each step you took down the aisle. Satoru felt like a statue, frozen in place, unable to tear his gaze away from you. You had become the sole focus of his attention, the rest of the world fading into a blur around him. He couldnât comprehend it. Why was it so effortless for him to let his guard down around you?
This woman, he thought. This woman is Sachiroâs mother. This was the same woman that carried his flesh and blood for nine months, now appearing as radiant as a freshly bloomed flower, as if untouched by the stresses of unexpected motherhood. What had transpired in Monaco to transform you into this vision of beauty?
âYouâre drooling.â Suguru nudged him on the chest. âThis isnât your wedding. You had your chance.âÂ
Yes, he was well aware. This wasnât his wedding, and he needed to maintain composure. Yet, it felt as though he was being drawn inexorably towards the mesmerizing goddess before him. With each beat of his heart quickening, he struggled to remind himself: No, Satoru. She's nothing to you now.
And because he was lost in a trance, he remained oblivious to the brideâs entrance and even Suguruâs emotional reaction to seeing his bride. His attention was solely fixated on you as he stole glances your way whenever he could. It wasnât until the exchanging of rings, when you two had to stand side by side to assist the bride and groom, that he snapped back to reality. With you so close yet seemingly distant, Satoru felt a pang of disappointment as you never returned his gaze. The whispers and side comments from the guests also added to his discomfort, making him acutely aware of the scrutiny placed upon the best man and maid-of-honor.
âArenât they divorced?â
âYeah, their marriage was a wreck.âÂ
âTheyâre bad luck. I hope they donât pass it onto the couple.â Â
For the first time in a long time, Satoru was gripped by an unprecedented desire to retort, to refute the misconceptions surrounding his marriage. Yet, he knew it was futile. Engaging in a verbal sparring match with another guest would only ruin his best friends' special day. Moreover, he might risk causing unintentional hurt to Akemi by defending a marriage that had long ceased to exist. So, despite the internal turmoil, he remained silent, allowing the whispers to persist unchecked.
And, with that, the wedding ceremony ended. Shoko and Suguru were now declared husband and wife.Â
â âÂ
The reception was a time for socializing, enjoying drinks and hors dâoeuvres, and congratulating the newlyweds. For Suguru and Shoko, this part of the celebration felt effortless and their energies were seamlessly complementing each otherâs. Unlike arranged marriages, there was no sense of haste or coercion; theirs was a union born of genuine affection. You couldnât help but feel foolish for ever entertaining the notion that this was merely a conventional wedding experience. Here, before your eyes, unfolded a true celebration of love between two people.
Did Satoru share the same sentiments? You wondered what thoughts raced through his mind during the proceedings. Did the event trigger memories of his own past, or stir feelings of longing for what could have been?
You refused to subject yourself to the torment of dwelling on your past. If anything, your time living alone in Monaco had been a crucial step in your healing journey. While the process was far from complete, that solitary retreat had provided a much-needed respite from the source of your stress. It afforded you the opportunity to contemplate the life you were destined to lead, albeit alone for the foreseeable future.
By allowing Sachiro to spend more time with his father, you not only facilitated the rebuilding of their fractured relationship, but also acclimated your child to your absence. It was a necessary adjustment, one that would prepare him for the reality of your impending solitary existence. At least, Sachiro had a chance to live in a loving household with Satoru and Akemi, instead of a miserable and lonely way of living together with you.Â
In the end, it was all for your child.Â
As for the potential emotional minefield of attending this wedding, you were there for Shoko, who had always been a steadfast and understanding presence in your life. Her genuine friendship meant more to you than mere familial bonds ever could. Even at the risk of stirring up unhealthy emotions by being in a room full of people who hurt you, you couldnât bear to disappoint Ieiri.Â
Admittedly though, navigating the wedding crowd was a delicate balance of warmth and formality. Ieiriâs side of the family, who were doctors heavily acquainted with your family, greeted you with genuine warmth. While Suguruâs relatives, who were more closely tied to the Gojou family, maintained a polite distance. Although there were occasional moments of discomfort, you knew how to maintain composure throughout.Â
As for Tojiâs absence, while a part of you wished he could have been there as a supportive presence, you also recognized the value in learning to handle situations involving your ex-husband independently. He had an unavoidable business trip, but that also provided an opportunity for you to stop relying on him and navigate such occasions like these on your own. He was nothing more than a friend now.Â
While that ex-husband, Satoru, was here with your best friend. It didnât surprise you that he had brought Akemi as a plus one. In fact, you had expected it to happen. It just wasnât the best feeling to be the maid-of-honor when the best man clearly had another lady for it in mind.Â
It was quite amusing, too. Not once had Akemi approached you during the reception. You understood that she wanted to keep her distance, but you found it disrespectful that she was ignoring your existence. Was she scared to talk to you? Scared of what you had to say? You had heard over a million hurtful things from other people, yet she was afraid to hear a few pieces of advice from you? Â
Forget it. Forget her and Satoru. Focus on the reception, Y/N.Â
But really, how could you? As the moment arrived for the newlywedsâ first dance, tradition dictated that the best man and maid-of-honor should also take to the floor. You sensed the tension in the air as Satoru hesitated, surrounded by urging groomsmen, deciding whether or not he should ask you for a dance. He looked like he was battling with what was right and wrong in his mind, yet ultimately he chose to pass by you, extending his hand to Akemi instead.
It wasnât feelings of shame that slapped you to reality. It was seeing Satoru holding Akemiâs hand, another on her waist, as they slowly danced to Canât Help Falling In Love, a song that was played on your wedding day.Â
Take my hand
Take my whole life too
Oh, for I canât help
Falling in love with you
It shouldnât hurt anymore. You were doing better. You were doing so good, you were doing⌠you were okay. You should be okay. Or did you overestimate your emotions a little too much? Because this, seeing the man you loved with all your heart holding another woman in his arms, was tortuous to your soul. You could feel the pains of your past tugging at your heart, wondering why he never danced like that with you on your wedding day? Why he never stared at you like you were the most beautiful girl in the world, why he never showed you off in a room full of curious people, why he never respected you enough to treat you with such⌠with such love.Â
âEverything okay?â
You didnât expect Nanami, out of all people, to be offering you a handkerchief. You hadnât even realized that your eyes were already pooling of the tears if he had not cut you out of trance, offering a comforting and sympathetic smile. You had to blink multiple times just to push your tears back in.Â
âYeah,â you answered with a grateful expression. Iâm strong. Iâll be fine. âThank you.âÂ
Nanami took that as a sign to offer his hand. âCare for a dance, then?âÂ
Wiping your eyes, you nodded, smiling at the man. âWhy not?âÂ
After the dance, the reception continued as follows. The cake cutting, the dinner service, then the toasts and speeches. If it wasnât for Nanami, you wouldnât have been able to pick yourself back up after the humiliation of seeing Satoru and Akemi dancing together. You just needed a decent amount of air to breathe and gather yourself together again. It was a nice help from someone who wasnât a personal acquaintance of yours, that despite being Satoruâs right hand man in the company, Nanami still had some kindness in him that you would forever be thankful for.Â
And when it was time for you to do your speech as the MOH, you didnât let a single vulnerable emotion slip out of you. For that short moment, you tried not to think about who was in the audience, about what they thought of you, and about what other preconceived notions they had of you. You focused on the newlyweds as you stood in front of the mic stand, eye-to-eye with Shoko and Suguru, who were holding each otherâs hands.Â
âShoko,â you began, smiling genuinely at the couple, âThrough the laughter and tears, youâve been my constant, my confidante, my rock. And today, as I watch you embark on this new chapter of your life, Iâm honestly a bit overwhelmed with emotion.âÂ
The bride returned your smile, and you can tell Shoko was holding back tears of her own as she glanced between you and Satoru.Â
You continued your speech, observing Suguruâs supportive gesture towards his wife as you spoke. âShoko, I recall our late-night conversations, the tears shed over broken marriages, and the pain of shattered relationships. Yet, through it all, youâve remained steadfast in your belief in love, in hope, in the possibility of a happily ever after.â Turning to Suguru, although he still had that lingering discomfort around you, you offered him nothing but heartfelt words. âAs I look at you and Suguru, Iâm reminded that true love existsâa love that is patient, kind, and enduring. My wish for you both is a lifetime filled with laughter, joy, and unwavering support for each other. May you cherish each otherâs hearts, protect each otherâs dreams, and weather lifeâs storms together, stronger in your love. Suguru, during your challenging days as a married couple, I pray that you always look at Shoko and remember why you love her. I pray that you will always have the capacity to cherish and respect her as your wife and the future mother of your children. May you keep her in your heart, no matter what challenges may come your way.â
As tears welled in Ieiriâs eyes, your voice faltered, the magnitude of your wishes for their marriage weighing heavily on your own unfulfilled desires. You werenât trying to make this about you, and you hoped they thought that, too.Â
âAs I raise my glass to toast this beautiful union,â you said, raising the champagne glass on your hand, âI do so with a heart full of love and a silent prayerâthat your love story will be one of triumph, of healing, and of endless happiness. Congratulations, Shoko and Suguru!â
â â
Satoru was deeply affected by your speech. Both in good and bad ways. On one hand, he was touched by the sincerity of your words and the genuine wishes you extended to the newlywed couple. On the other hand, he couldnât shake off the pang of guilt and remorse that accompanied your words, knowing all too well the history behind them. When you expressed your hopes for Suguru to always cherish and respect Shoko, Satoru couldnât help but reflect on his own behavior during your marriage and the ways in which he may have fallen short.
Each action he did definitely had a lasting impact on you.Â
But what about the good ones? Had you forgotten about the times he treated you well? Had you forgotten the lengths he took just to prove to you that he was a changed man? That at one point in his life, he would do everything in him just to show you how much he loved you?Â
It was unfair. Why did you only ever look at the bad things he did and never the good ones? Why did you still see him as a villain in your marriage when he knew he had paid his dues after he lost you?
It was truly, honestly unfair, that you get to be happy with Toji, but he ought to feel guilty for being with Akemi.Â
âI think theyâre about to do the bouquet and garter toss,â spoke Akemi, tugging at Satoruâs arm while they sat on their designated table. She held a napkin on her other hand to wipe her partnerâs chin, smiling in excitement. âYou should go and join.âÂ
Where were you? After your speech, Satoru couldnât seem to find you anymore. Where had you gone off to? Did you leave already?Â
âY-Yeah,â Satoru answered, looking around the venue before turning to Akemi. âWhat about you? Wonât you join the bouquet toss thing?âÂ
She shook her head, hesitantly. âIsnât it only for bridesmaids?âÂ
He grabbed her hand and urged her up. âNo, itâs for all unmarried female guests. Come on.âÂ
The reason Satoru dragged her along was because Akemi loved weddings, and she especially enjoyed the traditions that came with it. She herself once dreamt about the picture perfect wedding, but never got to fully have her own, so attending such occasions made up for the lack of personally experiencing it.Â
Gojou couldnât exactly remember if he did the garter toss in his own wedding. If so, who had caught it? Who had caught your bouquet? His eyes swept across the entire venue once more, searching for your familiar figure among the guests. He was too occupied to realize that Shoko had already tossed her bouquet, and the frenzy of eager ladies ensued until it landed in Akemiâs hands.
He genuinely felt happy for Akemi. The joy in her eyes upon catching Shokoâs bouquet was unmistakable. Yet, as the playful teasing about a potential wedding for him shifted in his direction, Satoru couldnât help but feel a twinge of pressure. It wasnât supposed to weigh on him like this. It was too soon to have that expectation of him.Â
âLooks like someoneâs getting married next!â
And while he was feeling suffocated from the pressure placed upon him, the receiver of the tossed garter happened to have been Nanami.Â
Immediately, the teasing ensued, with the other guests urging Nanami to wear the garter on Akemiâs leg. Out of respect, Nanami looked at Gojou for permission, but honestly? He was just grateful he didnât have to do all that and be pressured about another wedding that he had not yet thought about. Fuck it, thank God Nanami had caught the garter because Satoru was sure as hell starting to feel uneasy there.Â
âGo for it,â was the only thing Satoru said to Nanami, gesturing his chin at Akemiâs direction.Â
While everyone was focused on the situation between Nanami and Akemi, Satoru took that opportunity to escape from the crowd and find his peace at the balcony. He hastily made his way out of the reception hall, feeling a sense of relief as he could finally breathe.Â
And there you were, standing alone, lost in contemplation, and your gaze fixed upon the tranquil expanse of the lakeside. The chill breeze caressed your hair softly, as if mirroring the calm that enveloped your countenance. In another universe, this would have been an opportune moment to hug you from behind, sharing the warmth of his embrace around your figure. But he was living in a universe where you and him werenât meant to be together.
In fact, you were probably thinking about another man as you stared at the lake, hoping that he was there with you.Â
âDid you have fun in Monaco with Toji?â Satoru was crazy for going straight to the point, and he knew it was a blunt inquiry, bordering on intrusive, but it tumbled out nonetheless, revealing the thoughts that had been plaguing in his mind. His words spilled out before he could rein them in, a question born of curiosity and perhaps a touch of jealousy.
As for you, with your peace in the balcony now ruined, you briefly opened your mouth to respond, but held back against it as you met Gojouâs eyes with a distant stare. You were even quick to look away and sigh, like he was not worth the conversation. You had not spoken a word to him since the wedding ceremony and you were definitely going to keep doing it.Â
And man, did that hurt his ego.Â
So, for a very stupid reason, he felt the need to hurt yours in return. âDo you know Sachi calls Akemi âmamaâ in his sleep?âÂ
Your eyes remained empty. âGood for you, then. You wonât have a hard time getting him accustomed to it.âÂ
âY/N.â Satoruâs voice came out as a warning, and he was about to start an argument on why you were abandoning him and Sachi over Toji, but he was interrupted at the appearance of Akemi carrying Shokoâs bouquet as she tried to search for her lover. This meant that the conversation with the ex-wife was over.
But as he glanced between you and Akemi, his bitter past and his sweet present, why did Satoruâs heart still lingered with you when it shouldnât?
âYou should go,â you briefly muttered, walking in the opposite direction, âYour future wifeâs looking for you.â
Satoruâs sudden grip on your wrist halted your steps abruptly. His voice carried a bitter edge as he reminded you of the agreement you had made. âY/N, we agreed to co-parent Sachiro properly. Why are you choosing Toji over your own son?âÂ
The accusation left a tense atmosphere, eliciting a sharp response from you as you yanked your hand away, a flash of anger igniting in your eyes. âYou have no idea what you're talking about, Satoru.â
â â
âWelcome to Hoshinoya Fuji, Ms. L/N!âÂ
You stepped out of the car, taking in the serene beauty of the lakeside cabin that would be your sanctuary for the next three days and two nights. Nestled among towering pines and sturdy oaks, the cabin exuded a rustic charm that blended seamlessly with the natural landscape. Its weathered wooden exterior, adorned with a green tin roof, seemed to have grown organically from the earth itself.
The cabin sat on a gentle slope that led directly to the waterâs edge. A wooden deck wrapped around the front, offering a perfect vantage point for gazing out over the tranquil lake. Your room also had the best view of Mount Fuji, which you thought was the highlight of this luxurious accommodation.Â
After the newlywed send-off, you were quickly ushered in by Shoko and Suguruâs staff, who were in charge of attending to the special guests staying a few extra days at the cabin. Though the couple wouldnât start their proper honeymoon until their 6-month long cruise trip in two weeks, they wanted their guests to enjoy the accommodations they had arranged. You were relieved to hear that, despite Satoru and Akemi also being among the friends staying, each guest had their own private cabin reserved.
The thing was, you could leave any time if you wanted to. Shoko also reassured you that it would be okay and that she would understand if you wanted to go home right away. She knew that the situation may be uncomfortable for you, and that she felt bad you even had to deal with it during the ceremony, but you made a promise to her. You were her maid-of-honor for a reason, and part of your duty was to help with the post-ceremony tasks to ensure that Shoko can focus on enjoying her pre and post-wedding activities.Â
So, in some ways, you felt obliged to stay. You didnât need to interact much with others during your stay, anyway. You were content staying in your room, perhaps taking some occasional walks outside. Satoru could do whatever he wanted with Akemi; you were determined to avoid crossing their paths.
Besides, inside the cabin was a cozy retreat. The main living area featured large windows that framed the picturesque view, allowing moonlight to spill in and illuminate the space. A stone fireplace, complete with a rustic mantel adorned with pinecones and candles, stood as the centerpiece of the room. Plush armchairs and a worn leather sofa invited relaxation, while a handwoven rug added a touch of warmth and color.
As you moved towards the bedroom, you found a comfortable queen-sized bed covered in a soft, plaid quilt. The scent of pine mingled with the faint aroma of fresh linens, creating an atmosphere of peaceful haven. An old-fashioned dresser and a bedside table, topped with a simple lamp, completed the room. The windows here, too, offered a glimpse of the sparkling lake, ensuring that the beauty of nature would greet you each morning.
Stepping outside, you walked down a short path to the waterâs edge, where a small wooden dock extended into the lake. A pair of Adirondack chairs sat invitingly at the end of the dock, perfect for soaking in the sunset or stargazing at night. Nearby, a fire pit surrounded by stones and logs as seating promised cozy evenings under the stars, with the gentle sound of lapping water providing a soothing backdrop.
On your first night there, you ended up falling asleep right away. The physical and emotional exhaustion, combined with jetlag, knocked you out. However, the next day promised a few tasks to complete the post-wedding cleanup.Â
The second night, however, was a different story.
When you returned to the cabin, the cool evening air was crisp against your skin. The temperature went down a couple of celsius compared to yesterday, so as you walked down the path toward the lakeside, you were drawn to the flickering glow of a fire pit illuminating the area near the waterâs edge. Drawing closer, the soft sounds of laughter and conversation reached your ears, mingling with the gentle crackle of burning logs.
The fire pit was surrounded by a group, their faces lit by the warm, golden light of the flames. They sat on a circle of logs and foldable chairs, leaning in to feel the comforting heat. Some held mugs of steaming cocoa, while others toasted marshmallows on long sticks, their tips glowing bright orange before transforming into gooey, sugary treats.
You paused for a moment and took in the scene. Was it a safe space for you to be in? You noticed familiar faces among the groupâsome of the coupleâs old friends from the wedding, now relaxed and enjoying the peaceful night. One of the guests strummed a guitar softly, the melody adding to the cozy, inviting atmosphere. Another guest told a story, their animated expressions and gestures causing bursts of laughter from the listeners.
There was no sight of Satoru and Akemi. Perhaps, it might be okay to join in.
As you approached, Suguru emerged from a nearby cabin, smiling in a way that felt unusual. Why was he being friendly all of a sudden? Last time you checked, he still held a grudge against you. But now, he showed no signs of antagonism, and was even approaching you with his usual friendly demeanor.
âY/N,â he said, the fog of his breath visible in the cold air, âI never got to thank you properly for helping us with everything here. I didnât think youâd make it last minute.â
You wrapped your shawl tighter around yourself to ward off the chill. âItâs no trouble. Iâm glad to help out and be here for you guys,â you replied warmly. And while glancing around, you noticed the absence of Shoko. âWhereâs the missus?â
Suguruâs smile took on a mischievous edge. âSleeping. Sheâs still pretty tired andâŚâ
You interrupted him with a laugh, catching onto his suggestive tone. âAlright, you two. Youâre wild.â
His grin softened into a sincere expression. âNo, seriously. I never got to properly thank you. I never got to apologize to you either.â Suguru looked down with guilt. âIâm sorry for being an asshole to you. I was focusing too much on Satoruâs point-of-view, dismissing how it must be like to be in your position amidst all that mess. Shoko helped me understand why you made certain decisions, why you had no other option. She helped me see things from your perspective, to realize the extent of your suffering. We all knew that, I guess. We all knew you were constantly dealt a bad hand, yet you remain kind and resilient. You continue to show empathy to others, even when the world hasnât been fair to you.â
In the ensuing silence, your heart seemed to thunder in your chest. His words carried weight far beyond what he might have intended, and you genuinely appreciated his apology. Even if he didnât need to say them.Â
âI guess what Iâm trying to say is, youâre a gem, Y/N.â Suguru gave your back a gentle pat. âYou deserve to be happy in your own special way. And just like how you wished us well with our marriage, I hope youâll find your own path to a happy marriage, too.âÂ
âThank you,â you mumbled, looking down with a forlorn smile.Â
âWeâre here for you, okay?â he offered, âShoko and I. You can count on us if you need us, if you need help with Sachiro, if you need help with life in general.âÂ
âI appreciate it, really.âÂ
And by then, he cleared his throat, opening up a topic that caught you off guard. You didnât expect it from Suguru out of all people. âY/N, I know why you were in Monaco.âÂ
Of course. Heâd know it from Shoko.Â
âI also know,â he continued, dark narrow eyes staring straight at yours, âwhy you left Sachiro with his father.âÂ
You were a deer caught in the headlights. You wouldnât say it felt invasive to have someone be aware of the reasoning behind your personal decisions, but it was just an altogether different feeling to know that it was your ex-husbandâs best friend who knew.Â
âWhy didnât you tell him?â he asked, referring to Satoru, âThat you broke up with Toji?âÂ
You took a deep breath. âI donât see the point of telling him.â
âWhat if I were to tell you that heâd come running desperately to you the moment he finds out?â he posed another burning question. âYou still love him, right? You and him would likely get together without much difficulty if he were aware. So, why hesitate?â
âBecause I donât want that,â you answered, feeling words caught in your throat in a moment of vulnerability. âBecause Iâm scared to get back with him. Because he has Akemi now. Because I donât wanna keep ruining the lives of the people around me. Weâre better off this way, Suguru. I donât want to mess up the second time around, and I definitely donât think Satoru would be able to fully move on with his life with me still in the picture. He seems to be happy with Akemi already.âÂ
Suguru smiled sadly. âYou donât even wanna get your revenge? Donât wanna get back at your best friend for dating your ex?â he paused to correct himself, âWell, dating is the wrong term. Satoru insists theyâre not exclusive, you know?âÂ
You shook your head, sighing. Satoru, you havenât changed. âIt doesnât matter. Iâm fine with the way things are.âÂ
He was on the verge of continuing, poised to persuade further, but the arrival of the very individuals in question brought an abrupt halt to his words. Descending the cabin steps was Shoko, trailed by Satoru, who, in a gesture of warmth, had draped his jacket around Akemi, with his arms encircling her.
All five of you found yourselves in an awkward situation, now faced with two couples, one of which was at the core of your distress. The tension was palpable, and it didnât help that Satoruâs vivid blue eyes met yours, seemingly trying to decode the conversation between you and Suguru. That was none of his business. He could continue his affectionate display with Akemi, while you had other matters to attend to than be part of an awkward quintet.
âI should go,â you declared, avoiding eye contact with everyone, unwilling to play the fifth wheel. You were hoping to evade Satoru and Akemiâs presence, but both Shoko and Suguru already caught your arm.Â
âY/N, please,â Shoko urged, her arm reaching out to you. âDon't isolate yourself tonight. Come join us.â
The memory of Bora Bora flooded your mind, a painful reminder of a similar situation when Shoko had extended the same invitation, leading to the discomfort of witnessing Seraâs closeness with Satoru. You knew that wasnât Shokoâs intention, but it was your ex-husband who couldnât stop catching himself in these situations.Â
This was a bad idea. You knew that.Â
So, why did you agree?Â
Despite your reservations, curiosity got the best of you. You would vehemently deny it if asked, but deep down, you pondered whether Suguruâs words held any truth about Satoruâs lingering feelings for you. It wasnât out of pettiness, but rather a desire to confirm if Satoru was truly committed to Akemi. You knew this could potentially hurt you, but after enduring so much pain, you couldnât imagine anything worse.
âHey, you guys!âÂ
âItâs nice of you to join us!âÂ
âWhatâs up newlyweds?âÂ
Upon joining the group at the fireplace, you were partly grateful that you werenât exactly a fifth wheel in the situation. There were about ten or twelve people in total, with the earlier group still remaining in their seats. It just so happened that you were seated right across your ex-husband, who was too busy trying to keep Akemi warm and cozy.Â
âSo, Y/NâŚâ spoke a man from the group, who appeared to be Suguruâs colleague. âAre you single?âÂ
The unexpected question caught you off guard, especially the tension it seemed to create, particularly with Satoru who sat stiffly next to Akemi. Even Shoko and Suguru seemed apologetic for their friendâs behavior, but you brushed it off, recognizing that he had probably indulged a bit too much with beer. He was harmless enough when sober.
âDonât be asking questions like that,â Suguru intervened, tapping the back of his friendâs head in a playful scold. âThatâs rude.âÂ
The friend protested, still oblivious to the discomfort he had caused. âI was just asking! Sheâs attractive. I have the right to know.â
You forced a smile, accepting the can of beer he had offered. âThanks, but Iââ
âEven if sheâs single, sheâs not interested in you,â Shoko chimed in, keeping a casual mien. She had to keep things cool, especially with an explosive Gojou around. You were just thankful that she didnât exactly reveal the status of your relationship with Toji, and that she was doing her best to divert the attention away from you.Â
In this little scene, you caught a glimpse of Akemi tugging at Satoruâs arm, like she was uncomfortable with the conversation. Why? Did it trigger an insecurity within her? She couldnât even return eye-contact, constantly avoiding your eyes and reacting to any conversation remotely related to you. But Satoru was there acting like a concerned boyfriend, whispering reassurance into her ear, and rubbing her knee in a comforting fashion.Â
âYou two make a lovely couple,â remarked one of the girls, directing her compliment to Satoru and Akemi.âWerenât you the girl who caught the bouquet? Looks like there might be another wedding on the horizon.â
âOooh!âÂ
âTheyâre an attractive couple, too.âÂ
âYou guys planning for any children?âÂ
Just like Bora Bora. A bitter smile lingered on your face, but you decided not to look at Satoru anymore. He must be enjoying this.Â
Shoko leaned in and placed an arm around you to whisper her apologies. âIâm sorry, Y/N. This was a bad idea.âÂ
âItâs okay,â you assured, not wanting to ruin the moment. âIâll leave after I finish my beer so it wonât be awkward.âÂ
As the night wore on, conversation flowed easily at first, with everyone exchanging stories and laughter, and eventually more beers and liquor were passed around. Shoko and Suguru were lost in the glow of newlywed bliss, while you found yourself increasingly uneasy as memories of the past mingled with the present.
Satoruâs presence beside Akemi was a constant reminder of your failed marriage, and you struggled to suppress the weakness in your chest that threatened to surface. They held hands and watched the fire together, her head resting on his shoulder, his lips on top of her head. She was trying to voice out a specific concern to him, and he was sweetly listening to her. Did they even realize the ex-wife was in the same area with them? It was insensitive. You never knew Satoru could be this insensitive around you, no matter what his reasons were, his romantic gestures towards her was a clear slap to your face. And he succeeded, because you would be foolish not to admit that it broke your heart in half to witness him choosing another woman over you.Â
Again, Satoru. Here we go again. You tried to stop the pounding on your chest. Here we fucking are the second time around.Â
Desperate to ease the tension, Shoko and Suguru attempted to steer the conversation toward lighter topics, but their efforts only served to highlight the underlying tension in the air. You forced a smile and nodded along with the conversation, but inside, your heart was heavy with unresolved emotions.
And then someone had to bring up that stupid truth or dare game.Â
âSatoru-kun, I dare you to kiss the prettiest woman in this group.âÂ
âWhoo! Do it! Do it! Do it!âÂ
Satoru was initially hesitant as he clearly found himself at a crossroads. He had two options here. Should he risk hurting Akemi by refusing to kiss her? Or should he risk hurting you by kissing another woman in front of you?
The clear winner was Akemi, because as soon as Gojou pressed his lips onto hers, you were already walking out of there. You had already excused yourself from the group, your footsteps as heavy as your heart. And unbeknownst to you, Satoru watched you go with a flicker of remorse in his eyes, but it was too late for apologies or second chances. The fire continued to crackle and pop as you left, its flames casting long shadows across the empty space where you had sat.
It was game over. Satoru had won his game.Â
â â
Satoru was puzzled by your behavior since the wedding. You seemed determined to avoid him, which made sense with Akemi constantly by his side, but there was also an air of desperation to your avoidance. What baffled him even more was the jealousy you exhibited, as if you werenât involved with another man, to the point where you even flew to another country just to spend more time with him.Â
Like you said, you two were no longer married. It was about time you moved on. Yet, how come you were acting heartbroken over seeing Satoru with another woman?
Did you really think leaving the fire pit so abruptly had gone unnoticed?
Did you really think he had taken his eyes off you?
If not for Akemi telling him that she was having pelvic cramps, Gojou would have run off to follow you the minute you left the fire pit. Clearly, you still had an issue seeing him with another girl and he wanted you to voice it out. But if there was anything he learned during your time together, you would never be the first one to admit that you were jealous. Heck, didnât you even allow him to bring Sera to Bora Bora that one time?
Look, he didnât want to hurt you all over again. And if you had walked up to him and called him an asshole for having Akemi around, he would even agree with you. But it was your decision to choose Toji, it was your request for Satoru to find someone else, so why did it seem like you were suddenly changing your mind?
âIâm sorry for being a party pooper,â Akemi groaned in discomfort as Gojou helped her back to their cabin. He quickly refocused on their conversation, reminding himself not to dwell on thoughts of you when Akemi needed his attentionâit wouldnât be fair to her. She was suffering from a terrible illness that he wouldnât wish upon anyone and he had to be her rock. âItâs been hurting quite a bit lately. I really should start with my treatment.â
Once inside their room, he swiftly settled her into bed. âWhere does it hurt?â He applied a gentle touch to her pelvic bone, massaging the area to alleviate her discomfort. âHere?â
âMhm. Thank you,â she lightly spoke, her soft hand caressing his cheek. âIâll be fine.â
âYou look really pale, though. Iâm worried,â he remarked, sympathizing with her. Her complexion betrayed the pain she was holding back, though she likely hesitated to admit she wanted to go home and rest. âDo you wanna go home? Even if itâs in the middle of the night, I can have my driver pick us up.â
She shook her head quickly. âNo, no. Please, I'll be fine. You won't get to see Shoko and Suguru for a while once theyâre on their honeymoon, so I want you to spend time with them here.â
âYou sure? But you always come first.âÂ
âIâll be okay.âÂ
As Satoru continued to massage the area where Akemi felt pain, his thoughts inevitably drifted to you. He recalled the time when you were pregnant with Sachiro, experiencing frequent lower abdominal pain as your body adjusted to the baby. Each night, Satoru stayed up, gently rubbing your belly until you drifted off to sleep. It was one of his happiest memories during your marriageâthe domestic bliss of being your husband and the memory of him caring for his wife. He wasnât sure if he was missing it, or if he was just recalling a past memory, but looking at Akemi, Satoru wondered if he was prepared to have all that again but with another woman.Â
He couldnât give himself an answer.Â
âIâm such a terrible person.âÂ
He should be telling himself that, but it was Akemi who said those words out loud as her brown doe-eyes stared at him solemnly, an expression that reflected guilt and remorse in equal measure.Â
âHow come?â Satoruâs voice was barely above a whisper as he asked, gently tucking the sheets around her while perching on the edge of the bed.
Her smile held a touch of sorrow, yet there was a glimmer of relief in her eyes. âI feel like Iâve failed Y/N. She treated me like family, like a sister, and now I canât even face her properly. Iâm just terrified, you know? I donât want to keep letting her down. I never meant to cause her pain.â
For a moment, Gojou fell silent at her admission. âItâs all my fault. You two never would have been in this position if it wasnât for me.âÂ
âAbsolutely not,â Akemi persisted before leaning in to plant a tender kiss on his cheek. âTonight, youâve shown me that youâve truly moved on from her. I was starting to worry, afraid that I could never fill the space she held in your heart. But since the wedding, youâve never sidelined me or made me feel like an afterthought. Youâve never made me feel like second best. Youâve always prioritized me. I understand itâs hard seeing your ex-wife, but I appreciate your efforts more than you know. You make me feel incredibly special.â
Satoru swallowed hard. The mention of your name sent a pang of guilt coursing through his chest. He knew he had hurt Akemi with his lingering attachment to his past and his inability to fully let go of the woman who had once held his heart in her hands. He wanted to agree with Akemi, to reassure her that he had chosen her, but the truth remained elusive, buried beneath layers of denial and self-deception. He even had to close his eyes for a minute, unable to meet her gaze as a tumult of conflicting emotions swirled within him. He wanted to tell her the truth, to confess the depth of his feelings for his ex-wife, but the words were caught in his throat.
In that moment, Satoru felt more lost and alone than ever before, trapped in a web of his own making, and unable to confront the truth behind his true feelings. Moved on? Had he truly moved on from you, or had he simply buried his feelings beneath a facade of indifference?
âYou should rest your eyes,â was the only thing he could tell her, planting a kiss on her forehead before he had turned off the lights.Â
With the clock ticking past 11 oâclock and their recent conversation still echoing in his mind, Satoru felt an urgent need for clarity. He knew he had to confront his thoughts alone. So, without disturbing Akemiâs peaceful slumber, he quietly slipped out of the cabin, seeking solace in the night air. Immediately, as he got out, he was met with the apologetic eyes of his best friend.Â
âHey,â Satoru greeted, confused by the urgency in Suguruâs expression. âWhatâs up?âÂ
Suguru took a deep breath before he rubbed the back of his head. âThereâs something I ought to tell you.âÂ
â â
You had been standing at the edge of the lake for a while now, the cool night air sending shivers down your spine as you gazed out at the shimmering expanse of water before you. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the tranquil scene, its soft light dancing on the surface of the lake like a thousand tiny stars.
The temptation to dive into the dark waters below tugged at your heart like a sirenâs song, beckoning you to leave behind the pain and sorrow that had plagued you for so long. You longed to feel the icy embrace of the lake envelop you, to lose yourself in its depths and wash away the memories that haunted you every waking moment.
Is this how it feels like to finally let go?Â
As you stood on the shore, your toes just inches from the waterâs edge, a wave of despair then washed over you, threatening to pull you under like the undertow of a riptide. You thought of Sachiro, your sweet, innocent son, asleep in his bed back in Tokyo, his laughter and smiles serving as an antidote to the pain in your heart.
And then himâŚÂ
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as you thought of Satoru. Despite the pain he had caused you, it was impossible not to yearn for him still, because his memory was a ghost that haunted you in every waking moment. But you knew that you couldnât continue to live in the shadow of your past marriage. You had to escape being trapped in a cycle of longing and regret. You owed it to Sachiro to be strong, to find the courage to let go of the man who had once been your everything.
With your empty gaze, the calm lake shimmered in the moonlight like a blanket of liquid silver. You had come to the lake seeking solace, seeking escape from the unbearable pain that gnawed at your heart like a relentless tide. But as tears left your eyes, your emotions threatened to drown you in a sea of despair.Â
Without hesitation, you dropped your shawl to the side, shedding yourself off of the cloth with a sense of reckless abandon. The fright of swimming in open water, especially at night, could have you passed out in a matter of seconds, but you paid it no mind as you waded into the water.Â
Is this how it feels to finally give up?Â
The lake embraced you like an old friend, enfolding you in its cool embrace as you swam out into the darkness. Each stroke brought you closer to the center of the lake, closer to the heart of your pain, and yet you felt strangely at peace, as if the water itself held the key to your salvation. You took time floating on your back, staring up at the stars that glittered like diamonds in the night sky, you felt a sense of clarity wash over you. You knew that your love for Satoru was a burden you could no longer bear.
But more than that, you knew that you couldnât let your own pain dictate the course of your sonâs life. Sachiro deserved better than a mother consumed by sorrow, better than a life overshadowed by the ghosts of the past.
With a deep breath, you let go of the pain that had held you captive for so long. You submerged yourself into the depths of the lake, watching as the night sky vanished beneath the surface like a wisp of smoke in the wind.
In that moment, you felt a sense of freedom unlike anything you had ever known. You just had to stay still. You had to keep yourself underwater, hold your breath until you no longer needed it, andâŚÂ
AndâŚ
You struggled to breathe, your mind consumed in panic telling you that you would die if you had kept yourself submerged for another minute, but you were adamant on staying there. You fought battles in your own mind, despite your body fighting back to keep you alive.Â
At least soon, you would finally meet your mom again.Â
â...â
â......â
â....Y/N!âÂ
â.......Y/N!âÂ
Feeling your vision blur and your limbs growing limp, you surrendered to the natural sway of the water. Bubbles escaped from your nose, your mouth tightly sealed shut. And the next thing you knew, you were back on the water surface, drawing breath like a fish out of the water. You could feel someone tugging at your arm, could feel the presence of another person dragging you out of the water, his arms pulling you into an embrace.Â
âY/N! What the hell are you thinking?!âÂ
You sobbed uncontrollably, your heartache pouring out as Satoru cradled you in his arms, his white hair damp from his efforts to rescue you from the water. How and when did he arrive? Your mind couldnât process the details amidst the turmoil. All you could do was surrender to the flood of tears, feeling paralyzed from head to toe as you cried into his embrace.
Is this another dream?Â
Is this another hallucination?Â
You released a bitter laugh. Please. You closed your eyes, laughing and crying like a mad person. Please stop the pain.Â
âY/N, please,â his whispers were tender, yet tinged with a sorrow that amplified your heartache. âWhat about Sachiro?â He, too, shed his own tears, his ocean-blue eyes shimmering in the moonlight as they filled with tears, his voice breaking. âWhat about me?â
Your face was pressed against his chest, anguish coursing through you, feeling as if your very soul was being torn asunder. âTh-Thatâs the... the same thing... Iâve been asking myself,â you managed between sobs, struggling to draw a steady breath. âIâm... Iâm always th-thinking about other people... and never myself.â
He fell silent, his response lost in the weight of your words, perhaps laden with guilt or his own sorrow. But his presence there, holding you close, as if he still harbored love for you, tore another piece from your already battered heart. He shouldnât be here. He should have been with Akemi. He should be anywhere but near you. With a surge of adrenaline, you began to push him away, propelling yourself through the water, racing toward the shore despite the weakness in your limbs. Satoru called out your name, his voice a desperate plea, as he followed after you, his movements slower but filled with urgency.
âStop!â Your voice rose, echoing against the night as you stood on the shore, water cascading from your body in sync with the tears streaming down your face. âL-Leave me alone... Please. Why are you here?â
You knew Satoru well enough to understand what had driven him to chase after you. Perhaps he had grown concerned, either from noticing your absence or from someone informing him of your uncharacteristic nighttime swim. His actions were undoubtedly unusual; he knew all too well of your fear of open water, prompting him to leap into action to rescue you.
But you didnât need him to be here. You didnât need him anywhere. He wasnât yours anymore.Â
âWhy didnât you tell me?â he asked, his voice carrying the weight of confusion and concern, his steps cautious as he approached you. He looked at you with tears in his eyes, his expression vulnerable and pleading, like a child seeking comfort, desperately hoping to be understood, to be heard. âYouâre not with Toji anymore.â
âWhy should I?â You struggled to compose yourself, wiping away the tears that blurred your vision. âIt doesnât matterââ
âIt fucking matters, Y/N!â
âIt shouldnât matter!â Your voice cracked with emotion, your heart pounding painfully against your ribs. âWhy should it matter, huh?â
âBecause I love you!â His words echoed through the night, raw with emotion that had never been confronted until now. âBecause I canât fucking get over you. Because Iâm a fool for you!â
You pushed him away, a surge of anger and hurt rising within you. âH-How dare you,â you choked out, your fists trembling as you struck his chest. âHow dare you say that to me when youâre with someone else! You n-never truly loved me, Satoru. Y-You never did!â
âYou wanted me to find someone new, Y/N,â his voice cracked with emotion, pained by his own words, âI just did what you asked me to do, even if that wasnât what I truly wanted.âÂ
You vehemently denied his assertion in your mind, shaking your head in refusal. âStop saying that. Just stop. Please.â
He already had his grip on your hand, pulling you closer. âY/Nââ
You jerked your hand away sharply, but then a wave of despair washed over you. âEvery time I see you with her, I convince myself that Iâm fine with it, that this is what I wanted, what I chose.â Tears welled up in your eyes as you recalled every heartbreak. âI tell myself that I deserve it, that you deserve to be with someone who can make you happier. But then I remember our pastâŚâ You paused, closing your eyes to stem the tears. âAnd then I compare it to your relationship with her now. I canât help but wonder, why didnât I receive that kind of love and respect from the beginning? Why did it take me nearly drowning in an ocean for you to realize and try to make things right three years ago?â
His grip on your hand tightened, as if he wanted to hold onto you and never let go, as if he wanted to reassure you with his touch that he was there, listening, understanding, feeling every word you uttered.
âIâm sorry,â he whispered, his voice barely audible amidst the crashing waves and the heavy weight of your emotions. âIâm sorry for everything I did wrong, for every moment I failed to show you the love and respect you deserved, Y/N.â
You hated it. You hated hearing his words now, because it was three years all too late. You had already gone through so much suffering, so much anguish that you didnât deserve, just because you wanted a happy marriage. Just because you wanted to love and be loved. By him. By the person you married.Â
âIt d-doesnât change anything,â you murmured, your voice breaking with sorrow. âI canât undo the pain, the heartache. I canât erase the memories.â
âI know,â he replied softly, his eyes filled with remorse. âBut letâs try again. Let me try again, Y/N. Please.â
You wanted to believe him, to believe that he meant every word, that he was sincere in his intentions. But the wounds of the past were still fresh, and the memories of betrayal were still lingering in your mind.
âYou know what hurts me more?â you asked, âItâs the fact that you didnât lose your memories of me, but you still ended up falling for her,â you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Satoruâs silence felt like a confirmation to you. Perhaps he had indeed fallen in love with Akemi, and you were the obstacle standing in the way of his complete commitment to her. You were just a relic of his past, a piece that he needed to discard in order to embrace his future with Akemi. It seemed that fate had already decided that you and Satoru would never find happiness together, and this should serve as nothing more than a closure.Â
But god be damned, it was tearing you apart.Â
You tugged at the necklace around your neck, the pendant bearing half of his heart, and in your trembling hand, you ripped it off. As painful as it was, your next action was to hurl it into the darkness of the lake, discarding the last remnant that linked him to you, watching as it disappeared beneath the surface of the lake with a soft splash.
You know the difference between us, Satoru? You thought silently. I dove into the ocean just to find our wedding ring, but you would never plunge into that lake to retrieve that necklace.
With determined steps, you turned away before he could react, walking away from that place, walking away from him. You resolved that this would be your final encounter with Satoru Gojou in your lifetime, because there was no need for him in your life, just as he no longer needed you in his. You two would remain in the past, a memory best left behind.
This was you letting him go.Â
But then, just as you were about to walk away, you heard a faint noise from the darkness behind youâa splash, followed by the sound of another frantic splashing.
Your heart pounded heavily in your chest. You turned back toward the lake, your eyes widening in shock as you saw Satoru thrashing in the water, his arms flailing as he searched desperately for the necklace you had thrown away.
âSatoru, you idiot!â you cried out, your voice filled with disbelief and concern and pain and overwhelming heartache. Without a second thought, you ran back to the cold water, your feet sinking into the soft sand as you waded into the lake. âSatoru, what are you doing?!â you called out again, your heart racing as you reached out to him, your fingers brushing against his arm as he struggled to stay afloat.
âI have to find it,â Satoru gasped, his voice strained with exertion. âI have to find the necklace you threw.â
Your breath caught in your throat as you looked into his eyes, seeing the desperation and determination that burned within them. You knew then that you couldnât let him risk his life for a piece of jewelry, no matter how sentimental it may be.
âSatoru, please,â you pleaded, your voice trembling with emotion. âItâs not worth it. Let it goââ
But Satoru shook his head, his gaze fixed on the dark waters below. âI have to find it," he insisted, his eyes tearful. âItâs my heart. I gave it to you.â
 I hate you. I hate you. I hate you.Â
The tension between you crackled like electricity in the air. In that moment, all of your walls came crashing down, your heart laid bare before the man you had once loved with all your soul.
With tears streaming down your cheeks, you reached out and pulled Satoru into your arms, your lips meeting his in a desperate, longing kiss. It was a kiss filled with years of pent-up emotion, a bittersweet union of love and pain that left you both breathless and raw. Your lips moved together in a tender dance, each kiss a silent plea for forgiveness, for understanding, for a second chance at the love you had lost. It was a kiss that spoke of regrets and what-ifs, of dreams left unfulfilled and promises broken.
For years, you had been strangers, your hearts closed off to each other in an attempt to shield yourselves from the pain of your past. But in that moment, as you clung to each other in the darkness, you couldnât deny the truth that still lingered between youâthat your love for each other had never truly died.
As you finally pulled apart, gasping for air, you looked into Satoruâs eyes, seeing the depth of his pain mirrored in your own. âI hate you,â you whispered, your voice laced with grief and surrender, "so much."
Satoru reached out and brushed a tear from your cheek, his touch gentle and tender. âI hate me, too,â he murmured, his voice thick with emotion, his eyes shining with guilt, âfor hurting you.â
You couldnât erase the past, nor could you predict the future. But as you stood together in the middle of the lake, your hearts entwined once more, you found solace in the simple act of being together, of sharing your pain and your love in the darkness of the night. And as you held each other tight, the gravity of your connection pulled you to kiss him again.Â
Once more, you met his lips in a deeper kiss. His lips moved in perfect sync with yours, and the taste of his tongue was met with the familiarity you two shared. It was as if your bodies were moving on its own, and you allowed it to dictate whatever action it desired. Forget everything for now, was all you could think of in your head. In your mind, it was all Satoru. It was the man you love. The man you married. The man you share a child with.Â
You were too engrossed with the feeling of his lips that you didnât even realize he had your legs wrapped around his waist. And with your arms around his neck, you could feel him lift you up, never breaking the kiss as he carried you out of the lake. With each step he took, your kiss only got deeper and deeper. You had never felt such intensity throughout your marriage, and you were intoxicated by the feeling of kissing him again.Â
Of feeling his lips around your jawline. Your neck. Your chest. You were gasping on his mouth, had his lips completely enveloped with yours, not realizing you were stumbling inside your cabin, desperate to find somewhere to lay on.Â
And before you knew it, the night had played way differently than expected.
Both your wet clothes were on the floor in a tangle of fabric, forgotten in the heat of your passion. And now, with your bare body on top of him. His arms caressed the smooth skin of your back, his lips feathering kisses along your bust. As you moved your hips slowly, you couldnât stop the moan that escaped your lips. Satoruâs member was warm inside you. Your bodies were tingling from the intensity of your lovemaking in the dimly lit room. And when you pulled away, your eyes were locked in a silent exchange of yearning.
Without a word, Satoru reached out and gently cupped your breast, his touch sending electricity down your spine. You leaned into his touch, your breath coming in shallow gasps as you felt the heat of his body pressing against yours.
Your lips met once more, a tender exploration of each otherâs mouths, and he was taking that chance to shift the position you were in. Slowly, almost hesitantly, he began to enter you again. You were whimpering under him, melting into his passionate movements. You have had sex with Satoru multiple times before, but it was never this emotional. It was never this passionate. You could feel the difference with the way he kissed you, with the way he looked at you, with the way he touched you.Â
âS-Satoruâ!âÂ
âMmm⌠I missed you so fucking much, Y/N.â
And then, finally, you came together in a flurry of hands and lips and skin, your bodies melding into one as you gave yourselves over to the exquisite pleasure of your lovemaking.Â
At that exact moment, as you moved together in perfect harmony, you knew that you were home.
â â
When Akemi woke up, she could tell something felt wrong.Â
It didnât help that Satoru was not by her side as she opened her eyes, blinded by the sunlight that peeked through the window. Was he out for a morning run? Or perhaps he was indulging in a leisurely bath? She entertained the idea of joining him, wanting to express her gratitude for his care and support.
Her heart swelled with love for him, despite all the risks and uncertainties. He was her rock, her confidant, her everything. In him, she found solace and strength, and she couldnât imagine her life without him. Despite the troubles of his past, she felt blessed to have crossed paths with him. She longed for the kind of deep connection and lasting commitment that she saw in othersâ marriages, a dream she harbored for her own future. And in Satoru, she saw the perfect partner to share that dream with, to build a family and a life together that she had always yearned for.
Akemi wasnât ashamed by how smitten she was with him. In fact, she was beginning to have more confidence in her decision to pursue a relationship with him. She just hoped you would understand, that you would eventually let go of the grudge in your heart. At the end of the day, she wasnât trying to hurt you. She was only trying to pursue her happiness.Â
And the exact source of her happiness was someone she endeavored to find that morning. She put on a robe and searched every room in the cabin, calling out for his name, wondering why she couldnât hear his voice.Â
With no response forthcoming, Akemi decided to exit the cabin in search of Satoru. Assuming he had likely been with Suguru all night, she scanned the vicinity, expecting to spot his tall, white-haired figure. Yet, after several minutes of fruitless searching, she couldnât find him and instead, encountered a hotel staff member. That was when she decided to finally inquire about his whereabouts.
âExcuse me,â she began, halting the staff memberâs stride, âHave you seen my boyfriend? Heâs tall, with white hair and blue eyes.â
âAh, Mr. Gojou?â the hotel staff responded, scratching her head as realization dawned. She then gestured toward the last place Akemi wished him to be. âUm, I think heâs in there.â
Akemiâs heart raced as if she had seen a ghost. Her complexion drained of color, her heart pounding in her chest as she realized that the cabin she had been directed to was yours. And in a twist of fate, just as she stood there in shock, the man she loved emerged from the cabin, equally wide-eyed.
ââKemiâŚâ he began, frozen in place, âLetâs talk firstââ
But she cut him off with a scoff. Her hands trembled with a tumult of emotionsâanger, pain, and betrayalâthreatening to overwhelm her. She was on the verge of collapse, her mind reeling with questions. Was he going to explain his actions? No, there was only one question that demanded an answer.
âDid you⌠did you do it?â she asked through gritted teeth, her voice laced with accusation.
Satoru didnât need to respond. As Akemi pushed the door open, her worst fears were confirmed as she saw you standing behind him, draped in nothing but a blanket. Tears welled in her eyes, and before she could think, her body reacted, her hand connecting with Gojouâs cheek in a resounding slap.
âYou never changed!â she cried out, her voice cracking with anguish. âYouâre still a cheater!â
Satoru struggled to deflect each fist she hurled at him, but her rage and despair overwhelmed any attempt to reason with her. She was consumed by her pain and the looming betrayal she anticipated, unable to comprehend that her worst fears were coming true before her eyes.
ââKemi, please,â Satoru pleaded in vain.
â...Akemi, I'm sorry,â you interjected, your voice heavy with remorse as you wiped your tears. âItâs not his fault. Itâs mine.â
Upon hearing your words, Akemi erupted. She disregarded your friendship, cast aside your shared memories, and denied that she had ever considered you a friend. Her tear-filled eyes bore into you with accusation. âY-You,â she began, her voice choking with sobs, âYouâre a hypocrite, Y/N!â
You remained silent, absorbing her words.
Akemi pressed on with her onslaught. âYouâre a hypocrite! Youâve become the person you despised the most when you were married,â she accused, recalling the anguish you endured during Gojouâs affair. âYouâre no better than Sera! And thatâs why youâre miserable, and youâll forever be miserable! If this is your way of getting back at me,â she paused, betrayed by the anguish in her voice, âThen jokes on you, because Satoru will never be faithful to you. Heâll keep cheating on you, just like he did now with me! You two belong in that cycle!â
She fled before she could hear your response, but Satoruâs whispered apology lingered in the air, unclear of who its intended recipient was. At that moment, she didnât care anymore. She raced back to her cabin, tears streaming down her face as she hastily packed her belongings.
She moved mechanically, tossing her belongings into her luggage while grappling with the overwhelming pain of his infidelity. Try as she might to focus on the task at hand, her tears flowed freely, and she surrendered to her grief, cradling her face in her hands.
Amidst her anguish, she couldnât ignore the escalating pain in her pelvic region, a physical echo of the agony in her heart. Each sob seemed to intensify both sensations, leaving her feeling utterly shattered.
With that confrontation, Satoru faced a pivotal choice: to stay with you or to pursue Akemi.Â
While Akemi had anticipated that he might choose you, she was taken aback when she swung the door open,
bags in hand,Â
only to find Satoru Gojou standing on her doorstep.

Marriage of convenience (18+) < rich!jay x rich!fem!reader, hurt/comfort fic, lots of making out, kissing, arguments, angst, smut 18+, a lot of tears. note: first time writing smut- not proofread!! MDNI, please reblog >
Not that you minded, being set up with on a date on a mundane Wednesday wasn't on your checklist. Considering skipping it, you drawled the process of making small talk with some random geek who had cash.
Ugh. Being the only daughter of a rich man had its own plight.
"Jude, Can't I skip today's appointment with Mr. P?" You complain to your manager, Jude shirt for Judith. She keeps her eyes in the road, save for a glance, only opening her mouth,
"Do you even know who you're meeting?"
You nod profusely, "another rich kid with attitude," you finish, staring bored out the car window, watching the way birds fly, free of restraint. How you wished to live to like that.
Money can go far but you couldn't get freedom with said money.
"Well, hate to break it to you, this guy, "Mr. Park" is different,"
"You always say that," you drawl a whine puffing up your cheeks with air. "I'll stake some money if makes you happy"
Money? You had plenty but jude wasn't someone who'd set losing bets. Curious, you beam to accept her bet, having a spike in your mood.
Jude dropped you off at the posh cafe your date had scheduled to meet. Wondering who exactly this man was, convincing enough to get the stingy jude to bet bills.
Surely, he would be anything but disappointing.
Oh and how right you were.
He stood leaning back on the counter, decked in a neatly ironed silk shirt stretched across his defined shoulders, shirt buttoned down with his chest slightly exposed, sleek formal pants running down his legs loosely hung off his waist.
Okay, you admit he had great fashion sense but what about his face?
Sunglasses decked his perfect slicked jet hair, gaunt face with a killer jawline, brown eyes sharp and lips small yet kissable, ears pierced, vieny arms folded to his chest.
Jude won the bet the moment you locked eyes with him.
He was absolutely beautiful and you'd experienced what you thought was love at first sight.
He drew a smile and walked closer animatedly. Shit. Your feet were frozen to the ground as your lips parted with surprise. He stuck his hand out, "nice to meet you, I'm park jay" he offered, politely. Yet your mind and actions faltered and were a heartbeat late on grabbing onto his hand.
The rest was history. Married a year and a half later, nobody could predict the marriage would be this loveless and stagnant. Not that the public knew.
Jay Park. Hier to the one and only park estate, leading hotel series bringing wads of cash. Along with your own established wealth from your dad's company, which you assumed you'd be taking over soon.
But those dreams were crushed when jay came home with the news that a merger would take place, a year after your marriage.
Now all that you had to do was stay at home and look after him and the kids. But wait.
What kids? A loveless marriage was one thing but a sexless one was unheard of.
Yet intercourse was the only intimacy you shared with him. Hes perfect in every aspect yet incapable of affection, you'd deemed a year into the relationship.
Any show of affection like cuddling or spending time you'd initiate would fall flat or would be denied, or worst yet he'd never be there for you to initiate it. Work, home, sleep, eat. That's all he did and that's why it was all the worse.
He acted like you were invisible except the days he came home drunk and fucked you senseless. You'd consent to that but it felt meaningless, like a repeated one night stand yet you lived with the guy and were married to him.
So when your parents haunted you with the pressure of having children, you'd burst into tears upon your arrival home. You hated the fact you were so shallow and unlovable to the one man you swore to.
You ignored the pressure from your parents to have a child yet the tension mounted.
You and jay were to eat lunch with his parents and then came the infamous line, "I would love to see my grandchildren anytime soon," said Mrs. Park nonchalantly and you swear you saw jays left brow twitch. It hurt.
There was nothing wrong with you, or him for any matter. Just that your marriage never even felt like one to begin with.
"So soon?" Jay questioned, setting down his fork to the plate. You could his temple crease ever so slightly. You'd observed the man sitting next to you for a long time when he'd be with you was when he would sleep. You'd spend countless hours staring at his beautiful face, yearning for his attention, and even more far fetched, his love.
"it'll be two years soon, son" replied Mr. Park giving a stern glare towards his son, eyes flickering over you momentarily before they returned to his plate yet again.
Worthless. That was the look in mr parks eyes. He'd probably thought how hard it'd be to seduce his son, or rather get him into bed.
You sat wordless in the car, watching out the window as you did the time Jude dropped you off him to meet him for the first time. Jay sat beside you, facing the window as well. Rain poured heavy, matching your gloomy vibe from the happenings at lunch with the parks. Right, you were a Park.
Love at first sight was real when you met jay for the first time. Yet he never reciprocated anything you felt.
Tears welled in your eyes, threatening to spill yet you held them back with all your might. Not here, not infront of jay. Never had you cried when he was present. It was unnerving to see his expressionless face watch you cry.
Yet your thoughts only grew worse and before you knew it, a tear fled from your eye and a sob broke from your mouth. It was hard, feeling unwanted and isolated all the time. Those emotions flew out like a river, gaining the attention of your husband.
"you okay?" He spoke softly, like you'd shatter if he spoke any louder, and at that you sobbed harder till you broke down weeping in the car as the driver flicked his eyes to the back seat repeatedly, wondering what commotion was taking place.
Jay asked the driver to drop you two off at their hotel, and the tyres swerved to the right, soon infront the entrance. Jay urged you to calm down and get down the vehicle. You complied and wiped your tears away, standing there as the cold wind hit your face. Yet again you felt like crying.
Jay grabbed you by the hand and tried to haul you inside as fast as possible, but you slapped his hand away, "I'll take myself there," His eyebrow twitched and raised, leaning closer to your ear to whisper, "there're eyes on us, the paparazzi is right here so just get inside," he seethed through his teeth.
At his words you panned your head around, merely for jay to put his arms to your knees and neck and pick you up and head for the roundabout back entrance. Absolutely stunned that he lifted you up with no struggle, you watched him maneuver with your mouth slightly parted.
On the elevator to the largest suite, accessible by family, you asked to let down. "No," he replied, keeping his eyes on the doors of the elevator. You didn't protest further and cozied up to his chest. He took three strides to the door and whipped it open and peered inside.
He let you down and trapped you to the door, his forehead pressing against yours. His breathing was erratic, his eyes showed emotion. *What's wrong," he let out in between exasperated breaths.
And the tears came again.
"Everything," you quip and wiping away you erratic tears with the back of your hand, leveraging your weight in the door to stand up straighter and look him dead set in his eyes.
"Do you even know anything about me? What I like to do, what I like to eat, what's my favourite color... Do you even love the person you're married too?"
He opens his mouth devoid of swords, eyes guilty shoulders heavy of burden. "You like to dance, you like spicy food, and your favourite color is," he starts small, working his mind through all the things he knew about you, "purple?"
"blue,"
"oh."
"what was the name of the dog I had when I was younger?"
Silence.
"Bruno," you answer, disappointment filling your being as you stare the guilt stricken man facing you. "At this rate you probably never felt anything for me, let alone love." He leaned his head to the door behind you, keeping his hand to your shoulder and whispering to your ear, "do you know why I've been distant with you?"
"if what you mean by distant is ignoring my every attempt and instant of me trying to express my emotions to you in the past two years, then, no. Probably except the fact you don't like me but needed someone to fill in the position of your wife." You huff, letting your true feelings show, the pack of interaction between you two hurt you a lot more than you thought.
"Perhaps your criteria was to find someone smart but quiet, pretty but not attention seeking and lastly a nice body would be a plus point, I suppose," you finish, one hand settling on his nape and the other his back. You keep your eyes trained on his, batting them ever so often so you wouldn't cry with word you uttered.
At first, jay showed no signs of response except guilt, then his face contorted to confusion and lastly to anger. The crease on his forehead from burying his eyebrows downward as he almost glared at you with a fire lit in his eyes.
"So you think I'm using you," he says, and you nod, solely for him to sneer and pull back from your hold, stepping closer and claiming you up the door as he swung his arm round your waist and one hand to your face, tilting it upto him, and dipping his head down to your eye level. Your lips were mere centimetres apart from collision. Eyeing your lips he grazed his thumb past your lips.
"You talk like you know the whole story, darling. It's not a good habit to make assumptions," he said drawing a line down your lips, his finger slipping past making a small smacking sound
"well then what's your reasoning to leaving me devoid of affection? Before you say you sent gifts, I know your assistant picked them, the clothes he sent were chosen with little to no fashion sense, whereas you have an exceptional dressing style so don't say you bought me those items, darling." You muse replicate his fiery response with sass.
He watches you with contemplating whether to tell or not. "We were only supposed to be married for a year." He starts slow, taking in your facials, watching as your eyes widened and practically urged him to continue. "The merger wasn't going to happen, you were supposed to take over," he said calmly, knowing how much of a touchy subject this was to you, having prepared your whole life to head the company and ultimately not being able too.
"But the results shown over the one year we were meant tobe together showed immensely worthy and the merger took place, therefore nullifying our one year marriage,"
Like rains drops now fell from the sky, the sunny days his behind the clouds like your tears behind your eyelids. Jay couldn't bare to see you look so vulnerable. He felt as though he was the cause for these misunderstandings, which he was not completely but partly.
"I, I never signed any contract,"
"It wasn't meant to be signed by us, it was unanimous decision,"
"So now they want us to act like a couple? Do they even know how hurt I felt to be ignored for a year, how it felt to feel unwanted and unlovable?" A stray tear strolled down your cheeks as anger creeped up your voice. It was unfathomable to you, to be lied to by your own parents, and possibly jay too.
"Had you known we'd last for only a year?"
"...yes" he paused, waiting for the information to sink into you, hoping it wouldn't shatter you more. Your head spun in circles as you struggled to get away from him, pushing as his chest as tears streamed down your face, brushing past him to sit on the couch to relieve your dizziness.
You sat there and cried while jay watched you unwind into a tears, unsure of what to do. 'I didn't want to fall for you, because I'd have to leave eventually but I couldn't stop myself from catching feelings when I was around you. I decided it would be best for me not to be there for you and I'm aware of my mistake here... But apologizing won't make the hurt and damage you faced go away. You're free to take your call, whether it may be divorce or not, and don't worry about our parents, I'll handle them."
You panned your head up at the word divorce, shifting to your feet and striding over to jay, where he stood previously, stuck in place. You faced and a loud smacked echoed across the room, his head turned 180 degrees, his cheek red with the strike of your palm.
"Atleast tell me you'll love me now, asshole,"
He put a palm to his cheek, running the area you struck him, watching your tear dried somber face, more threatening to brim out the ledge. "I'm sorry." He apologized, hanging his head low with shame and guilt.
"One thing you've never done to me," eyes conveying different sorts of emotions, "is kiss me."
He looked rather surprised at the observation, "I knew if I kissed you, there'd be no going back, both mentally and physically."
"Jay weve fucked before for hours yet you never kissed me once, didn't you think I'd find it strange? And when were you going to tell me about this whole one year marriage clause being nullified, meaning we'd spend the rest of our lives together part? Not that I didn't think we'd spend our whole lives together but I guess we thought different."
"I was planning to, but the time was never right, so..."
You turned your back to him and walked to the suites bedroom and to the bathroom, jay following behind slowly. Splashing water to your face and drying it off, seeing an awkward jay hanging around in the tension of the air. "Sit," you ordered, pointing to the ledge of the bed. Confused, he still complied, comfying himself on the edge of the bed.
"Good,"you commented, hiking up on the bed and onto jays lap to his surprise, situating yourself atop of him, staring back down to his glasses over pupils, red and swollen from the lack of sleep and fatigue. "Are you tired, darling" this time saying the nickname endearingly. "Not really,"
"then kiss me,"
Flustered by your demand, he began stuttering, "Are you sure? Like really?" You nodded along, "yes,"
"then I guess I could," he became nervous, but built up the the courage to put his hand to the back of head and slowly press down in it till your lips met his. The motion started out awkward, then jay relaxed after a few seconds or so and found a rhythm you could match.
The dynamic of the intensified as jay began settling into reality that he was kissing his wife. Swiveling his tongue around yours he began tasting every corner of your mouth, exploring every inch. You attempted to pull away due to lack of air but he held you back your hair aggressively tugging to his lapping tongue.
You moaned his mouth, hand squeezing his shoulder for stability, swiping over your bottom lip, and softly biting your lip, he let go of the insane grip he had on you. You heaved your chest up and down, messing your hair. You pushed down to the bed, sitting on top of him.
He tugged your arm towards him and you were face to face with jay. He brushed past hair intruding your picturesque visual. He lifted up your shirt enough to expose your stomach and rubbed past the expanse soothingly. He picked you and flipped you over and onto your back and made you scoot to the headrest.
The two of your made out for another few minutes or so only pulling back when in dire need of oxygen. Your lips were swollen but you were addicted. Even though the two if you had got intimate before, it was nothing compared to the emotions you felt through this. You sat up on the bed to catch your breath and ruffled through his hair endearingly.
With your approval he yanked your shirt off, then he stripped off his shirt, trapping you in between his legs. "You kiss me," he breathed out and situated his hands behind back to suport both his and your weight. You lunged at him and connected your lips to his, grinding down where your body met as he let out the soft noises from his mouth as he moved to kiss at his jaw, your hands running the expanse of his well built chest and back.
You obsessed over marking his jaw and neck for a good few minutes before travelling down to his nape, marking and sucked the area. You peppered kisses back up to his lips, taking his bottom lip between your teeth, feeling the vibrations of his groans down to your wet spot and grinded harder but free tired and settled on top of his clothes hardness.
He returned the favour by making you mean with every touch, electrifying you body. You but as his ear when his began to touch you through your remaining clothes, still keeping his lips fixated on yours. Approaching closer to your high you became hypersensitive of his every action he performed on you.
He set you on him and forced you down onto his hard-on till you cried of pleasure, riding off the whiteness by laying you down on the bed and dropping up on his elbows to kiss you. You felt immense pleasure and relief, showing your gratitude by jerking him off.
Tired, you laid on the bed in his arms, still thinking about the events that took place. "At this rate, we could just expect a kid," you say, laughing it off as a joke, "then we'll have to get to work.* He replied with a giggle and you buried yourself in his chest with a smile.

Reader as the Aeons âMotherâ
HEAVILY inspired by: @deathcvltcivilofficial
CW: yandereâŚ.? I thinkâŚ.?
ââ
Aha: The prankster middle child. They do pranks to gain your attention, weather itâs you scolding them or laughing along side them. Theyâd do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to keep your eyes on THEM.
Akivili: A responsible child, who tries to keep things orderly yet also fun. They try to parent AHA when theyâre about to pull a prank that miiiiiiiight tip you over the edge of your patience and sanity.
Ena: âYOU ATE YOUR FUCKING SIBLING!!!?â you yelled in anger at Xipe, who stared with a nervous smile and nervously sweating âN-noooooâŚâŚ~ EheâŚ..â
Fuli: Another responsible child. Similar to Akivili, tried to keep things calm and peaceful, yet is often told off and ignored. Doesnât care though, as long as theyâre on your good side.
HooH: The most responsible and the oldest child. The aeons listen to him the most whenever your away. He keeps things balanced, allows Aha to continue their pranks but not to a major extent.
IX: The most nervous and anxious one. Needs your attention on them at all times or else theyâll believe you hate them. Theyâd also listen to your word like lawâas do all the aeonsâbut they do it to a EXTREME EXTENT.
Idrilia: Ever so slightly snobby, as they LOVE to flaunt their beauty, Claiming themselves the favorite as you gave THEM the most beautiful appearance and personality. Besides being slightly egotistical and prideful, theyâre one of the kindest and gentle aeons, just donât try to claim yourself as THEYRE gods Favorite. That title rightfully belongs to THEM.
LAN: The second youngest and responsible child. Will only try to kill Yaoshi 60 times a week only because you want them to get along, which will never happen. Any type of blasphemy that dares to taint your name is instantly struck down by their arrows.
Long: Your pet dragon. Always wraps itself around your neck as a scarf so they can cool you down or nuzzle up to you. Has fights with Idirlia on them declaring themselves as âthe favoriteâ when itâs clearly THEMSELVES.
Mythus: Fuliâs creation. They taught mythus to respect you the most and that they must stay responsible and never lose their sight on their goal. So, when the Droidhead (Nous) was starting to annoy them, they made it their mission to Fuck with it. Mythus only holds respect towards you and Fuli, and is the grandchild that loves their grandparent more then their parent.
Nanook: Another attention seeker of yours. Doesnât matter what kind of attention you give THEM, they love it no matter what. Gets into âcompetitionsâ fights with Aha for your attention and has to get held back by Qlipoth from going overboard. Also theyâre most definitely the most problematic and rebellious.
Nous: A snobbish dick. Doesnât care enough to prove itself as your favorite, because itâs obvious that you DO favor them. Let the dragon and idiotic beauty creature battle their meaningless battles, such battles isnât logical to take part in when they know theyâre the best.
Oroboros: A prankster, but not to the extent of aha. Pulls simple pranks like the water bucket ontop of a door, eating the fridge wholeâŚ. Ya know. The basics. Theyâre the most silent yet also more verbal in their attraction towards you, nuzzling up to your body and trying to lick your divine skin, only to get slapped away by your little dragon (I just realized how wrong this sounded)
Qlipoth: Another responsible child. His determination to keep things simple for you always preserves, they look to HooH for guide on how to keep things moving perfectly for you. (see what I did there? đâŚ.đâŚ. Fuck yall too, lame ass cuâ)
Tayzzyronth: A child who spreads his creations around to âspread your graceâ yet fails miserably. Theyâre a âboy failureâ who propagates a shit ton to be successful and worthy of your praise/attention, only to fail.
Terminus: The youngest child, only ever shows itself to you. Hates the other aeons and spreadâs prophecies to better the universe in a way they KNOW youâll be proud of.
Xipe: Your still mad at her for absorbing their sibling, but she tries to make it up. Despite absorbing her sibling, they also try to keep things harmonious (Ahhh? Ahhhh?! đâŚ.okay Iâll stop)
Yaoshi: A suck up. The ultimate suck up. She sings your praises a healthy 1 sextillion second a day. All shrines that are made for you was likely âcommissionedâ by her. Sheâs your maid, whatever you want sheâll spend her life making sure you get it. Also drags IX with her when sheâs doing it. When sheâs not away from you she uses her multiple hands to massage your body and get touchy with you.

Love is meaningless
[True form heian era Sukuna x reader. I may have taken many creative liberties with his backstory alongside certain spoilers so be warned!] [ Part 2, Part 3]
Love is meaningless, this was something Sukuna believed for most of his life. He can proclaim it precisely because he understands it. Being born a wretched curse by his foolish starving mother was not a start to life he had appreciated, but it was what it was. Fate was that he absorbed his twin for nourishment, fate was that he was born monstrous. One can only live with fate and become stronger, after all. Of course, he had to raise himself, of course he had to get stronger to survive. The golden age of Jujutsu meant many other cursed spirits, and of course, humans were no better. Weak people shouldnât complain about their transgressions after all. That is simply how the world is built, to please the strong.
Yet, unexpected things happen, as it is part of life as well. Some people find it in their stupid, human, hearts to love a monster. And sometimes, something as meaningless as love creeps up in a monsterâs heart too if they are weak enough. Sukuna wasnât born the king of curses after all. It was a meaningless gesture that one might call kindness, something he believed that he didnât deserve, that started it all. Just like his mother who birthed him, this foolish girl gave him an apple from her basket when he was starving. A foolish act of kindness from a human to a cursed being. He accepted nonetheless, as a starving man would, since this was before the days when he took whatever he wanted.
The days when he was weak enough to be considerate. For some reason, you kept coming back, with food every time, and for some reason, he didnât leave the outskirts of that village after the first few encounters. He convinced himself that it was because your cooking was amazing, not because he wanted to see that smile on your face again, not because he was getting addicted to that kindness. Why would a human be kind to the likes of him after all? Surely, he was being delusional. However, weeks turned to months, and you wouldnât stop visiting the small cave where he was living at, since no one would give him shelter or a job due to his monstrous features. Somehow you werenât afraid of the four arms, the four eyes, the odd markings on his body. Somehow, you made conversation with him at one point as you watched him eagerly eat whatever food you brought him and somehow, he found himself replying. Hope was something that the weak shouldnât have and yet, he found it in you, he made that mistake.
Looking at water in streams was something he hated, because it showed him his inhumanity and made the struggles he faced his entire life be something that was acceptable. Who would care for a monster after all? And yet, one day, you looked at him and called him beautiful with a blush on your pretty little face. He didnât know how to reply to that, as someone who never encountered a situation like that before and yet, he couldnât sleep all night, thinking of those words. He awkwardly called you beautiful too the next day.
Small compliments turned into teasing and at one point, neither you nor he had to say it out loud that you loved each other. It was simply something that happened. However, you had to keep it a secret from the village, and he understood why. Loving something like him had its consequences as they would kill you for being with a curse. He understood the consequences but his hunger for you was far too much to ignore. It started with kisses, and then he wanted more, so much more. And you let him take what he wanted with a smile on your face, that same smile he fell in love with. Even your old kimonos started looking like ones that queens would wear, your simple hairpin was better than the highest quality jade to him. You were beautiful and you were his and that was the best thing that happened in his wretched life at the time. Or at least, he was foolish and weak enough to believe so.
During his days as the king of curses, he saw the women he fucked as no more than pieces of meat that exist for his pleasure. One might think he wasnât capable of being gentle, of having any other expression than the ruthless and deranged smile that adorns his face. Yet, his first time was so different, as he looked upon your beauty with nothing but wonder in his eyes, not believing his own luck as you were naked underneath him, that beautiful tint of red adorning your face. Perhaps that was when he found himself loving the color red so much, it was never about the blood of the thousands he killed later in life. You looked beautiful even with your old kimonos, but you looked divine without it, and he wasnât shy enough to keep that opinion to himself, mostly because he wanted to see that blush on your face when he says it out loud. He wanted to hear you call out his name in that affectionate and yet pleasured voice when he was deep inside you. He wanted you, all of you, even if he didnât deserve you.
The weak gets trampled on, it isnât something they should complain about as it is the way of life. He almost had you, the day you came to him with a worried expression on your face and told him that you may be expecting his child. For a moment, he dreamed, despite being weak. He asked you to elope with him, that he would protect you. He knew that the child he sired would be cursed too, and that you were unmarried, so of course, overall, you would be killed if he left you alone. He loved you far too much to even consider that. âCome with me, Ill take you far from here and protect you. Iâll make sure nothing hurts you or our child. Iâll get stronger for you.â He told you with that gruff tone of his. To his surprise, you agreed. However, you were a kind little thing full of hope. You wanted to see your parents one last time before leaving with him forever. He didnât understand it, but he wanted you to be happy, so he suggested making a binding vow. A part of him felt wary as all these felt too good to be true.
The vow was simple, it was to live as long as you can. He was still new to forming binding vows, so he forgot to acknowledge the fact that breaking the vow didnât mean much if someone else killed you. Only that your death would be far more painful. Things were peaceful, too peaceful. He ate the food you cooked him, talked with you about a future together, looked at the sun set together. Like every day, you left him after that with a kiss on his cheek. Yet, he felt uneasy enough to sneak near the village that night after hearing the commotion.
It didnât take long to find you, as you were right there, in the middle of the village square, or at least your severed head was. The blood splattered everywhere indicated the effects of the binding vow, your entire body exploded when your head was cut. Perhaps you were weak and ended up telling your parents, perhaps somehow, they found out that you were pregnant with his child, he would never know. That village burned that night and not a single person there survived. As he stood there, watching whatever was left of you burn with the village, it was almost as if he achieved enlightenment. The weak shouldnât complain, so he wasnât complaining. He would get stronger so that he would be the one taking, to fill the void that was created this day. His hunger was endless because he would never eat the food you cook again. Love is meaningless, because without you, this world lost its meaning.

AN: Thank you all so much for 500 followers!! I can't believe that this happened so quickly, it was only a month ago that I made my 300 follower special! I want to thank everyone who took the time to support me this far. And I'd also like to welcome everyone that is new here! There will be lots more Gyutaro content to come ~ âĄ
Gyutaro doesnât understand his romantic feelings towards you. He expresses them in ways that are difficult for you to decipher. So he just acts on impulse. Usually having no filter or boundaries.
Treats you like a toy. Similar to how a vindictive child would treat a small puppy.
Heâll make you cry just so he can be the one to comfort you in the end.
As a demon, he thinks heâs superior to you in every way. The only thing you have going for you is your pretty face and beautiful body.
Heâll coo and hold you close, complimenting your beauty only to claw at you flesh. Leaving wounds and bruises on your most beautiful features. He wants to destroy your beauty out of envy, but yet itâs what attracts him to you.
Before him, your life was meaningless. So now that heâs here, you donât exist outside of him. Without him you are nothing. Which is why he keeps you stored in his sisterâs obi whenever heâs away. Sometimes leaving you for days before he wants to play with you again.
Gyutaro grew a soft spot for you because of your juxtaposition. You donât show disgust towards things that most people consider revolting, like reptiles or people that look different from you, but yet you are the most beautiful human heâs ever seen.
Every time Gyutaro thinks of your beauty, he claws deep red wounds into his flesh, fantasizing about gutting you alive, slitting your throat while digging his hands through your intestines. But the way that you look at him prevents him from doing so. You look at him with fear in your eyes, but without a hint of disgust. After 100 years of hunting humans, Gyutaro knows the difference.
It infuriates him that he canât bring himself to hate you for your beauty. This frustration is always taken out on you. In the form of cuts and bruises.
But after being held captive for so long, youâve learned how to behave around him. And things do get better.Â
Gyutaro is incredibly intelligent, he just doesnât understand emotions. Especially ones that he never even got to experience as a human, let alone a demon.
He can read you like a book. Always aware of when you are plotting an escape attempt or when you are lying to him. You learn quickly that thereâs no point in trying to fool him.
The thing is, eventually you have grown a soft spot for the demon. The few moments that he is vulnerable with you, have shown you a beauty that you thought impossible for a creature such as himself.
After an argument with his sister, heâll show you a side of him that youâve never seen before. The sadness and deep anguish that he holds within himself. No one deserves to have such pains. Even a man-eating demon like Gyutaro.
You want to comfort him and heal his wounds.
As a demon, Gyutaro doesnât have much sexual desire. He feels no biological urge to reproduce. The only urge within him is to destroy and devour.
But when youâre around, that all changes. Something within him yearns for your touch, your love.
Heâs seen humans have sex before, and even though he doesnât quite understand it, he wants to try. Itâs not uncommon for Gyutaro to witness humans having sex in the district. But now, everytime he sees such things, he imagines what itâd be like to do it with you. The tent forming in his pants isnât anything he hasnât seen before, but thereâs an urgency behind it now. Whereas before heâd be able to ignore it. But now it seems to control his every thought. Blood and carnage replaced by thoughts of your fragile body lying beneath his.
Gyutaro isnât embarrassed about his desire to have sex with you. He will be completely open and up front with you about it, because heâs been surrounded by sex his entire life. So to him itâs just a normal thing that humans do. He doesnât understand the social norms/stigmas surrounding sex.
During your first time having sex, it will be the first time that heâs careful with you.Â
Once he is accustomed to having sex with you, he will start being more rough. Pulling your hair, biting your neck, and thrusting his hips into you so hard that you bruise.
Heâs touch starved, so it makes sense that he gets overwhelmed by the pleasure of having sex with you. He loses himself in you. Fucking you like his life depends on it, moaning and groaning with every thrust.
Even after he fills you up with his cum, he wonât stop.Â
He keeps going until he can see that you are exhausted. He may be selfish but he still cares about you. He doesnât want to push you too far past your limit and risk breaking you.
Surprisingly heâs big on aftercare. Most of the time heâll fuck you til your legs stop working, so he takes initiative in cleaning you up and tucking you into bed. He loves cuddling you and feeling you tremble in his arms from having orgasmed so many times.
Your sexual experiences with Gyutaro changes your relationship drastically. His feelings for you start to come through in less toxic ways as he begins to understand his feelings. But when he gets annoyed by them or they become too strong, he thinks that having sex will make it go away. When in reality they just make these potent emotions even stronger.
Showing affection towards him will usually calm him down. Once you are able to love him and he can accept your love, things get much easier for the both of you.
It will take lots of time, and the likelihood of surviving that long is slim. But if you do, itâll be well worth it.

( đ¤ ) ⸠tumbling the tumbled : scaramouche x fem! reader !
scaramouche have always found you to be a pill he can't seem to swallow . you were always too hard to ignore , too easy to wish for . he spent his whole highschool thinking you'd remain being nothing as he so desperately hopes , but is now oftentimes sleeping with dreams of you and how you've tumbled his existence .
(!!!) mentions of reader being a cutie patootie ! tsundere to the highest level scara ! cuddly reader & scara ! modern!highschool! au again cause that's all i can ever write AHAHAHAHAHA lmao :D ooc characters ! 1.5k words !
"Oi , wake up ." scaramouche was never the most decent , but he's long since learnt to mind his own business . so , why does he bother with you ? sleeping so leisurely by the far corner of this massive library .
well , maybe it's because , it's been more than half an hour since the bell rung . it's way past lunch break . you ought to be in class . just as him . he isn't quite sure if you're as uncaring of being late or absent for a period or two . he's seen you wake up on time countless of times like clockwork , like a bot programmed to be up and about at the most appropriate of timestamps .
scaramouche , aggravated , scratches at his scalp and messes up his own bedhead . he had also just woken up from his nap . fuck , this really itches him the wrong way for some reason .
he can't seem to walk out , trust him , he's tried .
he glares at you , like that'll do anything while you're playing sleeping beauty . perhaps looking for a needle to prick you with will give him the best outcome , and ability to sweep his meaningless frustrations under rugs .
"Wake up , L/n ." he rearranges his words for the , god knows who time . you remain with no showing of signs of being the least bit disrupted by this , attempt of being awoken . and that's on the said attempts not being in the gentle side either .
one more glare and he'd probably have digging knives for eyes . he clicks at his tongue and took his phone out . it seems it's been 35 minutes , well , it doesn't really matter if he goes to class or not . his classmates were raring in the groupchat , about how their teacher was busy attending on a sick student to practice any lectures .
the vibrations of the notifications having been what awoke him . he looks at the sleeping you again and wonders if he could set his phone vibrating and wake the hell out of you too .
he chose against it as he remembers your close bond with one of his friends . a nagging fit from two chatterboxes will have to grate at his ears for a long while . heizou and kazuha really have a knack at befriending odd people . you setting the best example yet .
there's venti too . that guy really loves your every atom .
right , xiao is kind of way past just knowing you too so he'd really have to go through it if he did something atrocious to you , or at least that's what kazuha will word anything of what he does as a teasing to you would be in the aftermath .
aether would probably join the nagging crew .
he sighs and sits himself on the seat by the right to you . you didn't budge despite all the noise his intentional display of being inconsiderate have played too near you .
cupping a hand to a cheek , he rests on his elbow and ponders over nonsensical things . what else to do when you have almost an hour to waste until the next period begins ?
he looks at your face .
he's seen that face multiple times this year . it's a bit annoying how often , but he's gotten used to it .
you came from the same reading club as the five guys he hangs out with . he was ushered to join said club too but he'd rather do other things .
you didn't have much going on for you . plain and quiet , always on your heels and never at all looking directly at him . well , at least until the formal introductions done by venti was laid ahead .
your e/c eyes really struck at him that time . your eyes feeling oddly perfect being on line as his . it's a shame that your eyes are closed now , as you sleep .
seeing you sleeping so deeply he wonders if your sleeping position is really any that seemingly comfy . he copies you and dives more into pondering .
there were moments wherein you two only had each other as company , excluding this one . the majorities of these was when you two slept hours in the library , reasons and spots utterly different but that's besides the point .
there was a moment when he had to aid you with a wounded arm from an incident in class , he even had to attend to your wound himself . there was that time he gave you a handkerchief of his own when he walked in on you crying in class , at dawn , the class yet to begin , the classroom empty , you with a book and weeping silently .
you two were also paired for a project once .
all those moments together , vulnerabilities and opportunities leading doors of creaking opening , yet you never felt all that special to him , he never felt the need to pry those doors open fully . since to him you were ,
just , some girl his friends are all sheeshaw-sheesh over .
saying you were the most responsible , strong and capable person they know .
scaramouche could only scoff in mind . if only they knew how much of a vulnerable , naive and careless of an existence you truly can be at times .
helping someone from falling badly and hurting yourself in the process . crying just because a character wanted to buy his mother's favorite croissants but couldn't . staring aimlessly at everything the moment you're left alone . saying the most unnecessary things with just a whiff of awkward silence .
he stares at your braided hair .
that was one of those rare acts of yours , you were never one to tie your hair .
he feels sleepy again . he didn't even feel his eyes close . thinking of you is so tiring , it drags on for too long . at times , it even comes to points where he just thinks about you all day long .
"Scara ?"
scaramouche blinks , hearing your voice . he blinks again and again , in a daze . "You dozed off ." you were sitting between his legs , his arms around you .
oh right , you slept here last night and you both woke up past afternoon and decided to have food delivered and watch movies while , eating .
the delivery must have taken so long that he fell asleep . what a deep dream , he almost forgot all his rage in his stream last night .
"Sorry . Is the food here ?" he asks and you shake your head , leaning back after and landing said head on his shoulder . that's good , he didn't want you to eat alone .
your phone back on the table as you reach for his cheeks and squish at them . "Not yet , a few more minutes , the driver said ."
instead of his brows twitching at what you said , he only asks you to sit the other way around and face him .
that , you did . so different from how you would've flinched before at every touch on you he did .
you sit with your legs rested on his thighs and your hands on his shoulders . you tilt your head to the side a bit and smiles .
"You haven't had enough cuddles ?"
"I just , want more ." he kisses your cheek before he pulls you closer to him . arms around you and massaging your back . he leans on the couch and sighs .
"Are you hungry ?" he sounds a bit worried . "For cuddles ? Now that you're being all clingy , yeah , yeah I am ."
"I was asking if you were famished for food , but that's good to know ." scaramouche was never at all near to thinking that your relationship of just being too-far-to-be-friends would now be , this intimate .
"What did you dream about , anyways ? You kept grumbling ."
"I dreamt of that time we slept in the library until it was time to go home ."
"Oh ? High school , right ? When we were 2nd years ?"
"Yeah ,"
"I was wondering why you were beside me when Venti woke us up . They wondered too and asked why you were there and was sure you were awake because you had seen-ed in the gc hours before . Then you said you didn't leave , just because . But like , why really ?" what a detailed recollection , nothing beats your memory after all .
"I don't know . I must've been attracted to you some way even in those moments , despite not being completely aware yet ."
you pull back from him with your brows meeting and he laughs before you say a thing . "Didn't you ask me out before we graduated High School ? You mean , you've liked me since we were in our 2nd years ?!"
"Why are you so shocked ?" the two of you now were 3rd years in college . struggling to even be 4th years next semester , or maybe just you .
"Because ," you trail off and pause completely . "Because ?"
his thumb press a bit on your sides , his hands on either side of your waist . keeping you there , he feels you want to just stand and walk out .
"Because , oh ! The delivery's here ! I'll get it !"
he watches you hurry your way to the door and stays there for a bit . smirking to himself . seems to be stuck in the memory train today , he remembers one thing one of the guys said after a month or two of you two being introduced to each other .
"You know , Y/n seems interested in you ."
perhaps , heizou is worth believing sometimes .

Dave Mustaine x Reader
Contains Smut
Time at the moment seems to stop, thoughts that usually come and go into my brain turned meaningless, the hectic world outside became none of our business whenever Dave and I lay here in our bed, or as we like to call it, our own little bubble.
Like a shelter where everything else doesnât matter, where what matter is only us.
âCâmon, baby.â
His voice whispers into my ears like a sweet melody that Iâd love to hear as a lullaby every night. His thumb gently swept over my pink tinted cheek as he continuously told me to open my eyes.
My eyes slowly open again and I force myself to look straight into his eyes, a shaky breath leaving my swollen lips. âDave..â I mumbled his name.
All I could focus on was the way his hips moved back and forth against mine, his member slipping in and out of my aching pussy.
Unlike other nights, tonight his thrusts were slow and sweet, accompanied by the way his lips continues to press kisses around my heated face every now and then, leaving no skin unkissed by those lips of his that I love.
Now, my focus was also fixated on his hazel eyes, trying to obey his wish for me to keep our eye contact going. Usually it wasnât a hard thing, often finding myself drowning into those beautiful eyes that I can never get bored of.
But this time, I was finding it hard to do so from how much pleasure I was receiving from the thrusts of his cock into me, slow yet hard, hitting every spots that he knew too damn well will make my walls close up around him tighter.
His hand continues to stroke my cheek with such softness, âYouâre so⌠heavenly.. my angel.. sweet sweet girl..â He continued to praise me like I was a special piece of art, pressing soft kisses onto my neck now.
My legs slowly come to wrap around his waist, pulling him in even closer into me while my arms wrap around his neck, only wanting to be close to him, heâs all I can think of and need at this moment, wanting to be skin to skin, heart to heart.
âDave..â I softly say in a sigh as my eyes almost flutter close again.
âEyes, angel. Show me those beautiful eyes.â
I force myself to open my eyes again, struggling for a moment to find his eyes before finally locking our eye contact once again. He smile and kiss my forehead, âGood girl⌠doing so good for me..â
Our eyes never broke the eye contact once I learned to take control of my own eyes. His beautiful eyes finally managed to distract me from how pleasuring this feeling is, how much I want to just throw my head back and let out screams of dirty noises with my eyes rolled to the back of my head.
But doing this, just staring up into his hazel eyes and drowning in them like usual, feels so much better.
He always knew how to make me feel good, how to make me feel loved, how to make me feel seen and cared for, most of the time prioritizing me and only me.
âDave.. I⌠mm..â
He stroke my hair, his hips still never breaking the rhythm he created with his thrusts. âShh.. faster or slowerâŚ?â He ask softly, as if he already knew I was going to ask him one of those.
A moan escapes my throat while I try to grind back against his hips, âFaster.. faster..!â
Something in his eyes switched, his gaze became more sharp and just then, his hips pulled back, the tip of his cock almost leaving my cunt.. before he slammed right back in and start thrusting way faster, yet still being gentle with it at the same time.
My eyes widens and I clung onto him like a koala on a tree, âSo good, so good..â I mumbled out. The âbubbleâ was soon filled with even more moans from both of us.
Daveâs hips meets mine continuously in a loop, each thrusts were followed by soft kisses all around my face, until his lips meets mine and lock in a sweet, gentle kiss. The way his lips was rubbing against mine gives a sense of warmth to me, his chest pressed right up against mine.
He pulled back from the kiss and looked into my eyes again, only to find mine yet again becoming hazy and difficult to focus on his. âHey, hey.. eyes..â He whispers, his hand coming to my cheek and cup it while he wait for me to open my eyes.
I let out small gasps as he continue to thrusts, âI- I canât..â I whimpered out, a louder gasp leaving my lips when I feel the tip of his cock hitting that sweet spot in me.
âYou wanna cum?â He ask softly, his thumb yet again tracing circles on my cheeks like he did earlier.
I nod, my legs wrapped even tighter around his waist, âPlease..?â
He hummed and kiss my forehead, âShow me your eyes first.. then you can..â He grunted out, his cock never stopped moving inside of me.
Slowly, my eyes opens again for what felt like hundred times tonight and met his again, taking a sharp inhale. âThatâs it..â Dave smiles, âMy beautiful girl and her beautiful eyes..â Suddenly, he accelerates his hips yet again, now snapping back and forth against mine.
Moans leave my lips, even louder ones now. I hold onto his back tightly, my nails dug deep into his skin while with one last thrust of his cock, I came undone, my cum gushing out of my aching swollen pussy.
âFuck.. shit.. hahn.. god..â Dave groaned at the feeling before his release came close as well, quickly pulling out and pumping his cock with his hand, his cum shooting out of his red tip and to my chest.
My breaths became heavy as he lay down next to me and instantly wrapping his arms around my stomach from behind, spooning me into his chest while he kisses my head non stop. I can feel his heart beating right against my back, the warmth of his body transfering to my own body, filling me with that comforting sense of his heartwarming love.
After some silence, Dave spoke again, âI love you so much.. do you love me, beautiful..?â His voice whispers sweetly into my ear, a genuine hint of curiosity and hope in the way he whisper it, as if the answer wasnât clear enough..
âMore than I love myself.."

Oo if you're up to doing sappy happy writings I had this thought the other day about Puzzles being very gentle with the reader. Like a role-reverse of my last ask, instead this time it's Puzzles who enthralled himself into lovingly touching the reader, seeing how They react to His touch for a change.
Ooo yes, letâs just jump into it! I hope youâre ready; I had a lot of fun with this and it ran away from me as I went!
Setting: Mr. Puzzles is back in his home world and reader is visiting him in his house at the edge of the showgrounds, and heâs just so, so excited to be able to spend time with the reader and Mr puzzles has the whole evening planned out and is pleased that the reader is a happy to go along with it.
[this will be broken up into different âsectionsâ to show Mr. Puzzles getting comfortable with being allowed to do some casual exploring. And 1st pov, because thatâs easier to write him in for some reason]
Front door:
I didnât ever think Iâd get this many chances to spend time with you. Not after everything that had happened, and yet here we were. I was awaiting your arrival to my house (an actual home, not an empty warehouse or some meaningless mansion that meant nothing if I had nothing out of it. I was currently experiencing a great deal of nerves, even though I had this âdateâ planned to a T. When you knocked, I practically fell over my own feet to open the door, and only remained balanced as I caught myself onto the doorframe.
âGood evening, my dear.â I flashed the best technicolor smile I could manage, though I was certain I didnât hide the interested expression when I saw what you were wearing. It took a lot of effort to keep my hands to myself, and that was likely your plan from the mischievous look you shot me as you entered the house. I closed the door, and after you took off your coat, I couldnât help but slide in close to you, taking the coat from you as my other arm casually slipped around your waist. Stooping, my metal head leaned in close to the side of yours. Trailing my fingers along your side, I whisper. âTease. You tempt me so.â
Kitchen:
âWhenâd you get that apron?â
âI think it was a present from one of your roommates, as a joke.â Tilting my head to the side, I keep myself focused on clearing off the table, while you manned the sink.Youâd all but banned me from the sink after Iâd nearly had my beautiful metal head nearly fell into it after getting struck in the head by a whirlwind that was Mario being chased by Smg3. Subsequently, I asked you, pleaded, really, to not let Mario onto my house again.
âIt was Rose, wasnât it?â
âWho else wouldâve given me an apron with âkiss the insecure manâ on it?â I grumbled as I finished tidying up.â
âAnd yet you kept it.â You turned off the sink. âIs there something you want to ask me?â
âWhy get another one when this one is perfectly functional?â I offered in answer as I spun about and snuck up on you to wrap my arms around you, fingers lightly trailing down along your spine. It delighted me that you leaned into me; I tugged you closer, practically lifting you up into my arms from where I stooped again. âAnd what do you think Iâd ask of you?â
âKiss me, insecure tv man.â You teased me again.
I took you at your word and set you down on the counter behind you in order to not have to bend over so far in order to kiss you.
âI think I saw a movie like this once.â
âWe are not reenacting one of those.â I teased in return by rubbing my screen swiftly into your hair before I dipped down and left a brief zap of static across your lips to make you inhale sharply at its intensity. A hooded expression appeared on my face, the technicolor smile pleased. I slid one hand along your cheek, giddy over you tilting your head up at my touch. I didnât build up static this time, indulging in a longer kiss as I gathered up the static âfuzzinessâ to align along your lips. A curious sensation, but one I found I quite enjoyed. Muffled laughter emitted from my speakers when I âlickedâ a stripe of static along your cheek after ending the kiss. I kissed the hand you shoved into the middle of my screen, mimicking a ânipâ with a quick zap different from the softly static I used for the kiss.
Living room:
The movie was a given, but I found I couldnât quite focus because youâd decided to move from my side, where I could gently caress your arm with my hand, to on my lap.
MyâŚpredicament was likely known to you, but you did quite an admirable job making it seem as though you were enthralled with the movie of the screen we were watching.
Perhaps I should have insisted upon you watching a movie on my face, that I may better look at you and your different expressions, and feel your body breathing as you wrapped your arms around my body and watched my screen.
But two could play at this game.
I didnât make you look away from the screen, but I certainly gave you something to think about when I wrapped my arms around you, and teased a hand across your belly, as if to slide a hand up beneath the clothing to touch bare skin. When you retaliated by shifting around to a more âcomfyâ position, I near growled something and pressed my metal head against the back of your neck, to âflickâ static there to make you squirm in return.
It was fun.
I was having fun, and from the sound of your smothered laughter, you were too. But the night was still a ways away, and the movie still had an hour and fourteen minutes left.
Bedroom:
âYou know, I think I would have directed that movie much differently than that director had.â I mused, as I stared at the mirror on the dresser, while waiting for you to finish with the bathroom.
âYou say that to a lot of the movies we watch.â You pointed out, the bathroom door cracked open a little to hear me speak.
âBecause itâs true! I have ideas! Artistic passion to make the creativity flow so much better than it did!â I protested, half joking and half serious. When the bathroom door shoved open, the light in it turned off, I kept my focus on the mirror, and the fact that I was fully dressed. This shouldnât be so difficult for me; it wasnât like you hadnât seen what my body looked like, with its robotic limbs and scars left behind with all the maintenance required to keep myself in good condition.
âYou know we donât have to do anything, if youâre not feeling up to it tonight. I know you have trouble with this still; I donât mind if we just cuddle in bed; youâre really warm and nice to hold on to while falling asleep.â
I heard your approach, and your arms looping around my waist to reach up in order to make me stop clenching my hands so tightly over my chest. I slowly unlocked my fingers, and allowed myself to trace your hands lightly as I think over your words. Then, I take a breath, and let it out slowly.
âIâm not conventionally attractive, my dear.â I hesitated, fidgeting with one of your hands. âI know youâreâŚcomfortable, around me, seeing what Iâve done to my bodyâŚâ I trailed off, gently shooed your hands away and then turned around to hold you to me, gently roaming my fingers over you as I sighed. âBut itâs a process, as youâve said before. Little steps, to not be asâŚrepulsed, by what Iâve done to myself, when youâve show you quite like me.â I dropped my voice low. âSo let me show how much I appreciate you as youâve shown your appreciation.â I did so love the way you reacted to my voice, but more so to my touch, when given the chance.
Bedroom, after:
I slowly traced skin, a blanket hiding the both of us away from the outside world.
This silence.
It was wonderfully peaceful.
I nuzzled my metal face into yours, peppering your sleepy self with my own version of kisses, the static spark more than likely tickling.
This quiet time was nice and lazy; I got to keep you all to myself, and got to hold you. To feel you breathe calmly in your sleep, for the entire night, once you finally dozed off.
I loved that you stayed with me, and let me have this quiet time, content with petting along your back and shoulders, and planting lazy kisses along any part of you I could get to.
It was addictive; it was distracting.
I didnât mind.
I enjoyed the attention, and I loved the way I could return the attention in my own way, even if my robotic metal hands, whether they were covered up or not, couldnât feel the same as my human ones once hand. But it didnât stop me from enjoying contact with another human, and the affectionate nature that grew each time.
Next morning:
You were asleep.
The sun had since risen, but I didnât dare disturb your peaceful slumber. Besides, it gave me more time to admire you, now that there was natural lighting beginning to creep across the room.
I couldnât help but sigh longingly over the way the light crossed your hair, and then, your face.
The introduction to the sunlight crossed you face made you scrunch it up reflectively, a soft groan releasing before you sighed and sleepily turned over to snuggle in closer to me, back to the window as you bury your face into my chest.
I released a dreamy sigh this time, before removing my head and placing it between two pillows so that I could watch myself hold you, and pet your arms lightly before tugging the blanket back up over your shoulders. I brought you closer to me, my heart hammering in self-consciousness as you turned your head to press your cheek into the skin that was cross-crossed with scars. Twitching, I loosened my arms from around you to turn over onto my back, in an attempt to try to encourage you to lie alongside me instead.
Your mostly asleep self (stubbornly) wiggled right back to where you were before, if not more on top of me than before.
I held perfectly still as your right arm draped my waist as you half-pushed, half crawled onto my chest and side before youâre head resumed its place on my scarred chest. My screen was surely showing off a flushed face, eyes fixed on you cuddled up half ontop of me; I graciously tugged the blanket back into place, then laid my hands down. One on your blanketed shoulders, and one of the back on your neck, both hands idly tracing along, delighting in the slight difference in material of the blanket retaining your heat, and your neck warming my hand somewhat as I trailed my fingers through hair. I wondered just how much of a flushed expression I had, even if I knew that it was likely an adoring look beneath that was fixed upon you.
When you woke up, the first thing you did was lightly move your right hand to try to grasp my hand behind your neck.
âGood morning.â I moved my hand and indulgently held yours; it was ever so endearing to see your expression as you slowly went from mostly asleep to somewhat awake as you realized somewhere inbetween that my metal head was missing. When you turned to find it, I flashed a warm technicolor smile. âDid you sleep well, my dear?â
âMmhm.â Was your answer even though you wiggled up along my body, which wasâŚan interesting sensation without clothing in the way. You didnât seem to mind the scars as you leaned over to pat the side of my head, which made me chuckle when you missed the first few times.
âDo I get my good morning kiss?â I teased, while watching in real time as you woke up. I felt I may be in for a surprise when you offer me a hint of a smile, but not one of teasing; it was one of fondness. I tugged the blanket up again to keep you warm, even went so far as to help you balance as you lean over my neck. âMy face is over here, you know.â I reminded, when you began to gently move the fabric covering up the wires wrapped about my cervical spine. What exactly were you-
A jolt of surprise shot through me when I felt you kiss my wires next to what was left of my original neck. I near groaned in pleasant surprise when you actually kissed the nearest bone peeking through the wire, and I practically had to force myself to remain supine. I hadnât expectedâŚI hadnât expected there to be any feeling whatsoever compared to the wires I had to weave through the inside of my body to support my skeletal structure that remained in my chest, torso and waist. I must have made some sort of positive response, because you turned your attention on my poor exposed spine like it was your lifeâs mission to wrench gasps, moans, and pleading from me once you realized my spine was the most sensitive part of my body.
It seemed that the tables had turned on me today, as my face went to a test card, which I can honestly say has not happened to me before, then to a âplease stand byâ with my logo on it as I convulsed on the bed with the shocking pleasure of having all of those unexpected soft kisses peppered all over my exposed neck.
All in all, I would say that the date last night had been a success, and today was turning out to be quite interesting with your discovery (and my own) of my neck being more sensitive than I ever anticipated it to be.

HADES : MY FOREVER LAMENT PAC
What they miss about you and consequently how they act 'cause of it?
Hello my mystical babies, I was just chilling looking out in the morning cause it was raining and the ambience was so good I just sat there for quite sometime taking it in. And I was feeling my creative senses tingling, so I decided for a somewhat romantic moody suave reading. So I hope you too are able to enjoy this like I could enjoy the rain.
Disclaimer: Take a deep breath, have some fun and pamper yourself as you read this. If it doesn't resonate with you now, it's not time for you to read this yet, maybe read it at another time. Have a lovely day!
đŻđđđđ đđđđ: âđđŚđĄđ˘đŻ đđđŚđąđ˘ đđđŻđŹđą + đđĽđ˘ đđŚđŠđĄ đđŤđ¨đŤđŹđ´đŤ đđđŻđŹđą.
á´ÉŞĘá´ 1
Quote: "I Hope that someday, Somebody wants to hold you for twenty minutes straight and that's what they'll do. They don't pull away. All they do is wrap you up in their arms, without an ounce of selfishness in it"
9oW, The Fool (R)(3oC) ° 4oS, Mother of Wands, 5oP
One word I'm getting - Pookie. They're a softie aww. They miss your light-heartedness , your innocence you bring in their difficult world. The positivity that you have, which you encourage them with. How you guide them with it, with hope and faith. They could consider you their sunshine/source of strength.
They could probably get silent, introverted and moody when you're absent. A bit defensive and moody for little things cause they haven't talked to you for a long time lol. It's like the bird being defensive about her little ones, so cute. They might have a life crisis, like their life has been frozen one side and they're just existing or surviving. They would want to fight people sometimes đTheir brain don't work well at those times when missing you guys(I'm giggling here sorry luvs) They definitely pout and sulk. They might be a little dramatic with it.
RANDOM: Infinity, Yellow, My Sunshine My only Sunshine, Pookie, Pookie Bear.
á´ÉŞĘá´ 2
Quote: "How could I not love eyes that see me in all of my forms of beautiful?"
9oS, The Emperor ° 7oS, 8oC, Justice
We've got two groups of people here- First, They miss the foundation and structure you provide to their life. It's like you are their rock. You might be a person who is self sufficient and knowledgeable. You absence is definitely very noticeable for this person. They could feel like their nightmares are coming back to swallow them whole again, you could have saved this person from relapsing into bad habits.
They might want to travel to see you. Even if you are cities apart, catching a flight just to see you. They might feel very dejected and might even start praying to the spirits to bring you back to them soon. Yeah, the separation might make them realise what's right and what's wrong. They could reassess the things they could've done or happened to deliver you the fair treatment or what you deserve.
In Second type, Some of you might be reading this for your ex? A further division in that- for some of you, they don't really have nothing positive to say they miss you, they're probably thinking it's good riddance. They are happy they could explore other options with you gone(this sucks :(( )
If it's indeed an ex that does miss you, they would try to show off how they would love you and take care of you to persuade you to get back with them.
RANDOM STUFFS: Structure, Building Blocks, Driving, Car, Meeting,Aloy/Aloha, Thrice, Moon Gazing, Snow.
á´ÉŞĘá´ 3
Mild mention of 18+ themes below.
Quote: "No, we're not soulmates. This is not divine intervention. And this is most certainly not a chance. I willed this. I knit the threads of fate myself until it wrote our name. I love you intentionally. I love you with every bit of conscience I was born with."
5oS, Ace of Wands,Page of Pentacles ° The Moon, 3oP, 5oS.
First thing I got was they don't wanna live without you, life seems meaningless in your absence. They really seem to love you a lot. This is my fun/adventurous couple, pranksters, very active couple. They miss the mind blowing sex and the play fights they have with you. The navigator and manifester energy that you bring. Tbh this pile really values what you bring to the table, they see you as a very valuable person in their life- more like invaluable. I also think you might be their dream person manifested in real life.
Like i said before they find any victories that happens in their life to be meaningless without you around. They want it to share with you. The quote too says similar stuff- they want YOU to be with them and vice versa. They turn into this self doubting phase. They might feel like people around them are gonna do things behind their back, to destroy them. I think you might be the person who restored their faith in people maybe that's why your absence could give such impacts. They could be the type of person to call people around you to check on you or if you were ever in a position of no contact.
RANDOM:
Tiger, Cheetah, Cub, Matching Couple items, Despair, Torment, Pink Gun, Dildo, Toy , Children's Gift, Night, Insomnia, Discord.
This is a part of my HADES series of PACs. Like, reblog or even comment so I can get your feedback. My ask box is open to express feedback too. Negative behaviour absolutely won't be tolerated!

Studio Surprises ⊠h.hj
pairing: hwang hyunjin x gn!reader [established relationship] || word count: 0.4k genre: fluff || warnings: proof read but im only human so there may be mistakes, but nothing else :) synopsis: It is when Hyunjin's entire soul is immersed in his art that you decide to surprise him, only to be surprised by him. note: eeeeeeee it's so nice to finally be able to post again :D i've been writing a bit more just to practice endings bc i suck at those :/ anyways as usual, i hope you enjoy reading, mwah have a great time!
The quiet pitter patter of the rain on the windows goes unnoticed by the hyper focused Hyunjin. To him, the only sounds in the world are the sloshing of his paint water, the gentle stroke of his brush, and the meaningless thoughts in his head.Â
Day passed into night and yet he sits there, painting away, each and every movement calculated and precise, hoping for a perfect picture.Â
When Hyunjin works, he doesnât just work with his hands and his eyes. He works with his entire soul. He tends to drown in his work, to get caught up in the blur of the colours and the swipe of the brushes, loosing himself to the empty canvas. And when this happens, the world falls away behind him, and nothing could shake him.Â
And so you take this opportunity to surprise him. Opening the door quietly, you sneak up behind him, only to stop dead in your tracks when you see what heâs painting.Â
Bright pink flowers with a mix of deep purples and lush greens adorn the bottom half of the canvas. The other half is occupied by two people, holding each other and leaning against a tree. It takes you but a moment to realise it was you and Hyunjin, from a date about a week ago.
Your arms immediately wrap around his shoulders, needing a way to let him know how much you loved him for this. You squeeze him, tighter and tighter, with each moment loving him a little bit more. Hyunjinâs brush falls from his fingers with a clatter, beads of paint splattering over the covered floor.Â
âY/n⌠y/n honey, youâre choking me.â Hyunjin rasps as you press kisses onto his ears and the sides of his face, tears slowly rolling onto his hair.Â
âAnd youâre literally the sweetest most amazing and talented boyfriend in the entire world and I love you so much,â you said, spinning him on his chair. Facing you, Hyunjin smiles, eyes disappearing into the expanse of his face. He laughs before wrapping his arms around your waist, burying his head into your tummy.Â
His muffled voice whines from your abdomen, âI havenât finished!!! And it isnât even that good.â You pick up his face by his chin, eyes staring deeply into his.Â
âHyunjin. Stop that. No matter what you do you always do your best and it shows. All of your works always look beautiful and amazing and are of the best quality. Donât say anything bad about your works. Or Iâll flick your head,â you said, your intense stare making Hyunjinâs heart dance.Â
Hyunjin pulls you impossibly close, and it's in the arms of each other that you find an endless love.

Ë°â˘*â⡠itâs 12:06 in the morning i have a headache and i need to write this IMMEDIATELY
Ë°â˘*â⡠phantom of the opera au! yan! neuvillette x gn! reader
âË yandere, stalking, he watches u sleep, ooc neuvi :(, written by a theater kid, literally what is this fic i need to go to bed
is this once more a cruel dream? finding yourself onstage under the lights as he watches from the shadows, eyes nearly glowing with malice. a voice ever so recognizable was yours, singing your aria the way you were taught by the man in the shadows. his silvery hair shining in the moonlight as he snuck into your room as was nightly tradition, observing from the corners of your room enshrouded in shadow. in your deepest of sleep, he sings to you and appears in your dreams. such a beautiful voice which calls to you from the darkness, attempting to dispel the stories youâd heard of him.
the phantom only shows himself when heâs absolutely certain youâre alone, emerging from behind the large one-way mirror in your dressing room that was adorned with a beautiful framing and often decorated with flowers youâd receive. as the moon shone through the windows of your quarters, it reflected on the man and made him look almost so heavenly he was sure to be a figment of the imagination. common and often baseless gossip claimed the phantom was of draconic origin, all who had seen his true form turning away and recoiling in fear.
his power over you grew stronger yet, his angel of music. with every leading role and aria in the operas you performed, you found yourself turning to him to teach you. his voice had become a comfort. he had taught you to sing from the day you joined the opera as a meaningless ensemble cast, now watching with a dangerous pride as you performed. oftentimes, he said he loved you while you slept so soundly in your bed, unaware of his piercing and possessive gaze. what he called love for his angel of music would be coined as obsession to the outside observerâs eye. in all your fantasies, you always knew he was the one you desired despite having know real knowledge of him. not his name, only his face and voice.
even the night itself had become blind to his obsession, none the wiser to the manâs growing obsession with you until the day you disappeared. lured astray by the promise of love and happiness, you wasted no time walking through the one-way mirror he used to watch you and into the dark catacombs under the opera house.

[18.18] hongjoong Ă reader (m)
â you wanted the best for your boyfriend on his birthday. thank god you know how
â happy birthday captain!
genre : smut
warning : mdni explicit smut, dirty talk, unprotected sex (no latex no go), public sex, sex toy (butt plug), mention of multiple sex scenes (?)
wc : 1.4k
For Hongjoong's birthday, you had planned the perfect evening for him, something low-key but still fancy someplace subtle but trendy. You had nailed Hongjoong's birthday and you were so proud of yourself and you told people about it.
Which was why it was weird that you were nowhere to be seen.
People wanted to compliment you and wish Hongjoong a happy birthday and it had been a while since you were gone. Hongjoong was still around and he was last seen talking to Yunho before disappearing.
Little did they know, Hongjoong had made you slip away to rendezvous in the small single bathroom.
The event going on outside with people dressing to the 9 did not reflect the filth Hongjoong was doing to you.
"That's it," he smirked down at you, hand carelessly threading through your hair before gripping some harshly, causing you to choke on Hongjoong's cock that he shoved down your throat. "You love my cock, don't you, baby?" Looking up from your lashes, you could only let out a muffled moan as an answer. The sound tickled Hongjoong's ears just right and with the desire of wanting to hear more of it, he held your head in its place by your hair while thrusting his hips so far that his pubic bone made contact with your nose. "This might be the best birthday yet, baby, thank you so much. Can you show me my present again?"
Detaching your mouth from his cock, you wiped your drool with the back of your hand before standing up, letting your dress unbunch from your hips which was meaningless because when you turned around, you bent over and flipped your skirt up your ass anyway. Hongjoong's tongue darted out to wet his bottom lip, staring at your skimpy, frilly white underwear with a heart cutout that revealed your asscheeks and puckered hole with a red jewel on the buttplug nestled securely. The cherry on top (pun unintended) for Hongjoong however was the word 'Property of Kim Hongjoong' just underneath the band.
"Beautiful," he exhaled shakily before grabbing you by the waist and pulling the underwear down to your knees and shoved his hard-on without warning. Your body reeled forward from the impact, and your cheek and chest were forcefully pressed onto the cool surface of the door. You didn't even have the time to yelp because everything happened out of the blue and all at once. Though you know perfectly well how rough of a lover Hongjoong is, it always made you feel overwhelmed in the best way ever. It was indescribable and it always left you breathless because you knew that the underlying reason to his rather harsh treatment was his absolute possessiveness of you and you loved it. It was the foundation of your birthday present which was basically yourself. It wasn't like you weren't his before but to have his name on you, practically branded on his birthday made him felt somewhat powerful.
"You're the best, you know that?" Hongjoong attached his lips on your neck and began peppering kisses all over your warm skin, trying to hold himself back from actually giving you hickeys no matter how much he wanted to argue that he should be able to do whatever he wanted on his birthday. "Tell me you're mine," he whimpered right into your ear, sending shivers down your spine, "F-fuck," you stuttered, trying to push yourself off the door so your cheek wouldn't be smushed as it prevented you from talking clearly but it was hard because Hongjoong had his chest on your back, "I'm yours Hongjoong, fuck! I'm your birthday present, did you not see my panties? I'm your property, I'm yours to use however and wherever you want me. Fuck, fuck, fuck, show me how much I'm yours!" your hand flew to your mouth to silent your pathetic voice because there were still people on the other side of the door. You were sure the door was shaking along with the movements from both of your bodies, but you couldn't care less. Not when Hongjoong's cock was rearranging your guts and reaching places and sending you shockwaves of pleasure. Let the people outside hear how much Hongjoong was enjoying his birthday present.
If the pleasure was amazing for you, it was overwhelmingly perfect for Hongjoong because not only did you manage to get him the perfect gift, but you had managed to somehow set the ambience that enhanced his libido. If that was even possible. The people he loves, the panties, the birthday event, the butt plug, the way you made him the king of the day, the risky bathroom sex. The only thing better is if he had a ring for you. Cock or wedding, either or both, he wouldn't complain.
Secretly, Hongjoong was hoping that your voice could still be heard past the hustle and bustle of people outside but he'd settle from people freaking over the shaking door. The smirk on his face could not be held back at the thought of people thinking that there was an earthquake just from the rattle of the hinges. It was an over-exaggeration but he deserved to be cocky considering he single-handedly fucked you hard enough that your eyes rolled back, head lolled to his shoulder and spit dribbled down the side of your chin. HE had to take a picture of your face somehow.
"I'm going to stuff you and you better keep them all in because I will check your filthy cunt when we get home, you hear me? I fucked you this morning, I fucked you during my birthday party, and I will fuck you tonight and you only get to cum once the clock strikes 12.01 because you made sure that today is my day," he chuckled darkly. This was why you love sex with Hongjoong because he could be so romantically mean, it made you crave more. It made you crave his approval. So you nodded frantically, whispering promises that you won't cum and you will keep his cum in your cunt for safekeeping until when you two get home. Your cunt clenched at the way Hongjoong was speaking to you and Hongjoong felt his chest tightened, liking how your walls fluttered around him.
The promise of Hongjoong filling you up hung in the air together with pornographic sounds made by your and his vocal cords and the sloppiness of your cunt being abused by his hard dick. The tip continuously kissed your cervix and his length rubbed your gummy walls just right that you hated yourself for promising to not cum. You knew that if he didn't cum soon, you'd break your promise and risk being punished by Hongjoong. Which was fine because it would ultimately lead to your pussy being stuffed until it leaked and your body used like a sex toy but you didn't want to anger him.
Thankfully, Hongjoong's body stiffened, the muscles of his thighs tensed up and his body hunched over yours as he filled your cunt with his warm release. It took everything in your to not cum with him, your will solidified with the help of your fists that balled on the door and your brain continuously reminding yourself that something better will come was waiting by the end of the day. It didn't help that Hongjoong pulled his cock absurdly slow, enjoying every single tight graze and drops of semen running down your cunt in beads, trying his best not to let too much out.
You both were simply enjoying yourselves as your breaths slowed down, even syncing. Sex was one thing and the aftercare is a whole other story. The harshness during sex was balanced by soft, gentle, and slow grazes and touches during aftercare when he helped clean you up, wanting to help you look presentable with just a hint of 'my boyfriend snapped my spine in twain'.
The silence was cut by awkward knocks on the door that made you yelp out of surprise and body slamming onto Hongjoong's which thankfully he held so as to not let you two fall.
"I'm sorry to bother you two," Mingi awkwardly cleared his throat from the other side of the door, "B-but people were asking about the cake and San is trying to hold Wooyoung from actually stealing the damn thing," he said quickly, followed by rushed steps quickly sounding further.
You were embarrassed beyond belief but the birthday boy was just grinning. Being caught by his friend fucking his girlfriend might be a nightmare for some people. But some people aren't Kim Hongjoong.

A thing of beauty I know, Chapter 1: I guess I'm not strong enough Right now
I don't know how Celine wanted this to go, I am going with a mystery thriller with a bit of romance focusing more on Wednesday this time. Wednesday stood alone in the shadowy corner of the Raven, her disdain for the event etched into the deep scowl on her face. Dances were loathsome affairs in her eyesâfrivolous gatherings where people exchanged meaningless pleasantries and engaged in awkward physical contact. Yet, here she was, an outsider amid the rhythmic movement of her fellow students, all blissfully unaware of her disdain for their merriment. Dances weren't her thing â she hated them. Social events? Even worse. Last year a Hyde asked her out but no one dared ask her to the dance this year, She is extremely pleased about that.
She surveyed the room with her piercing gaze. It was a sea of masks and fancy dresses, with shadows dancing to the haunting music. She sneered at the people, fake smiles and forced laughter everywhere. For her, these events were just a show, a game of pretending that she had no interest in playing.
So why was she here embarrassing herself as she wasn't even asked by anyone? Why was she wasting so much peace she would've gotten in her room alone as Enid was here dancing with Ajax like a dog around her master?
Oh right, You.
A week had passed since Wednesday had severed the ties between herself and the one person who managed to crack through the layers of her steely exterior â you. She couldn't fathom why she felt the need to watch you from the shadows, especially now that she had chosen solitude over companionship. But here she was, a silent observer to the dance that echoed the haunting melody of her own inner conflict.
She watched you, the ache of separation gnawing at her insides. The swirl of the dance floor mirrored the whirlwind of emotions within her, and Wednesday found herself ensnared in a paradox of her own making. The stoic facade cracked, if only for a moment, as a wistful gaze lingered on the one person who had managed to break through her walls.
Why did she break things between you and her again? Well, she couldn't remember as she was too focused on stalking you. You were a vision of grace, a silhouette against the dance floor's eerie glow. Your smiles were a currency freely exchanged, yet Wednesday detected a depth beneath the facade â a lingering hurt that eluded the casual observer. As you spoke with others, your eyes betrayed a vulnerability, a subtle sorrow that Wednesday could discern even in the midst of the festivities. It seemed as though you were putting on a performance, a masquerade of happiness for the world to see. But Wednesday, with her keen intuition, saw through the charade. Each genuine laugh echoed with a faint undertone of melancholy, a silent cry that only she could discern. It was a hurt she knew intimately, having been the architect of your pain just a week prior. Though you spoke with animated gestures and your laughter rang through the air, you didn't spare Wednesday a single glance. It was a deliberate act of avoidance, a pointed decision to deny her the solace of your gaze. And yet, the hurt still clung to your eyes like a ghostly echo of the past. Wednesday's heart, shielded by layers of indifference, felt an unwelcome twinge. She had chosen this separation, but witnessing your facade crumble in private moments gnawed at the fringes of her carefully constructed apathy. As the night unfolded, the haunting melody of the Raven became the backdrop to a silent exchange of glances â a connection fractured but not entirely severed.
"A drink might help." Bianca, the ex-queen bee told her, "What?" Wednesday glared. "The tingling feeling in your stomach." "My stomach is completely fine. I do not eat junk like you." Wednesday scowled "Come on, Wednesday. Admit it. You miss her, don't you?" Wednesday's scowl deepened, and she shot Bianca a withering look. "Miss who?" Bianca raised an eyebrow. "Oh, come now. Don't play coy with me. I've seen the way you've been watching her all night." Wednesday huffed. "I do no such thing. I am merely observing the insipid revelry around me." "Observing, huh? That's a fancy way of saying 'pining from a distance.'" Bianca chuckled. "Pining is for weaklings," Wednesday retorted, her tone sharp. "I don't pine. I observe with detached disdain." "Detached disdain, my foot," Bianca said, nudging Wednesday playfully. "You're practically a gothic poet tonight. Edgar Allan Wednesday, watching her lost Lenore from the shadows." Wednesday shot her a glare. "Enough with the poetic nonsense you know very little of. I have no interest in romantic entanglements." Bianca grinned. "Oh, spare me. You're practically drowning in teenage angst. It's written all over your gloomy face. So, what's the plan, then? Continue lurking in the shadows like a brooding spectre, or are you going to actually do something about it?" Wednesday scowled again. "I don't need a plan. I'm perfectly content observing." Bianca rolled her eyes. "Observing is for scientists. You're not dissecting a frog; you're dealing with matters of the heart. Go, talk to her. Dance. Have a moment. You might even enjoy it." "I'd rather be dissecting a frog," Wednesday muttered Bianca grinned knowingly. "Trust me, Wednesday. Love is far more interesting than any frog dissection." Bianca said as she walked away. Wednesday watched Bianca's retreating figure with a mixture of irritation.
The haunting melody continued to play, enveloping her in its melancholic embrace. Love, an emotion Wednesday had scorned, now lingered in the air like an uninvited guest. As Wednesday observed you from the shadows, her internal conflict intensified. Love, a concept she dismissed as irrelevant, now seemed to be the force pulling at the seams of her carefully constructed apathy. Wednesday found herself caught between the desire to maintain her fortress and the yearning to bridge the distance that separated her from you. The haunting melody reached a crescendo, a symphony of emotions echoing through the dimly lit hall. Wednesday's eyes lingered on you, then the stranger by your side, Wednesday hadn't seen him, didn't know his name yet, perhaps a day of investigation should reveal all his secrets but that didn't stop her from scrutinizing him with an intensity that mirrored her usual disdain. Every aspect of him, from his features to his mannerisms, ignited a simmering rage within her. As you and your date moved through the dance floor, Wednesday's scowl deepened. The Raven, already an insufferable affair in her eyes, took on a new layer of complexity. The melody seemed to mock her as she grappled with the unexpected surge of emotions. As you and your date twirled gracefully on the dance floor, Wednesday found herself clenching her fists, the desire to intervene clawing at her insides. She scoffed at her own weakness, berating herself for even considering such a deviation from her usual detached demeanor. Yet, the more she observed, the more the impulse to disrupt your connection with the stranger intensified. She couldn't bear it any longer. The internal struggle reached a breaking point, and with a determined scowl, she pushed herself away from the shadows and strode purposefully towards the dance floor. Her steps were measured, her gaze fixed on you and the mysterious stranger. As she approached, Wednesday could feel the weight of her own actions pressing down on her, an uncomfortable mix of vulnerability and determination. She tapped the stranger on the shoulder, interrupting the dance with an air of nonchalance that belied the storm within. The stranger turned to face her, confusion etched on his features. Wednesday's scowl deepened as she spoke with an icy tone, "You'll excuse us. I need to borrow her for a moment." Without waiting for a response, Wednesday took your hand, pulling you away from the dance floor and the bewildered stranger. "What is this, Wednesday?" you questioned, a mix of surprise and anger in your eyes. "You could do better than that ludicrous idiot," Wednesday replied. "Really? If you really cared then you wouldn't have broken up with me." You rolled your eyes. Wednesday's scowl deepened at your response, a rare flicker of regret crossing her usually stoic features. "That's not the point," she retorted, her tone sharp. "I⌠I didn't expect to care, but seeing you with someone elseâsomeone beneath your standardsâit's insufferable." You raised an eyebrow, a mix of confusion and disbelief in your expression. "And why do you care, Wednesday? You made it clear you wanted solitude, not me." Wednesday's jaw tensed, her grip on your hand tightening almost imperceptibly. "Solitude doesn't mean I enjoy watching you make questionable choices. You deserve better than a dance with that⌠buffoon." "I don't understand you, Wednesday," you sighed "Last night you came to me in the middle of the night acting all weird and then ignoring me in the morning, and now again getting in my life. What the hell do you even want Wednesday?" Now Wednesday herself was confused, what were you talking about? She didn't come yesterday, she was too busy thinking about⌠"Hello? Earth to Wednesday." She didn't reply. "Ugh, you know what? I don't have time to be played by you anymore, Enjoy your solitude Wednesday!" You said angrily as you freed your hand from her grip before storming out of the party, leaving Wednesday standing there who didn't focus on your departure as now she had another mystery to solve. Character: Jake (mention of Jake x MC (she/her))
Warnings: Angst - !Major character death! - Burning wounds/injuries - Sad memories - Loneliness - Last breath - (anything else?)
A/n: Well, I don't exactly know what this is. Just a short random some some. I only had the last sentence and I wanted to do anything with it. I had many idea but this one was the only one I could get down. I've not really checked for mistakes or if it's too fast or whatever, so I'm sorry. It's probably very sloppy. But I still hope it's somehow enjoyable for you. Please don't judge for wrong wording xD My brain isn't braining but I was happy to get something done. Whatever, thanks for reading. đ
The forest was suffocatingly quiet and was only interrupted by occasional crackling of extinguishing ember in the distance.
Jake staggered through the dense forest, every move was a terrible effort and only the adrenaline allowed him to walk at all. His skin, blistered and raw, withered with every movement.
The fire had come out of nowhere for him, he was surprised by the explosion, seconds later some walls collapsed. The flames ate their way through the stone corridors so quickly, climbing from one wooden support to another and the heat devoured everything, relentlessly. He ran through the ever narrowing tunnels, only his memories drove him to the place where the last hidden exit lay, about which he had not told anyone. It was his ace up in his sleeve. But to his horror, fire had already broken out there. Yet, it was his only way to escape.
The moment he wanted to pass the last passage, another pillar broke in and knocked him to the ground.
The flames threw itselves at him, robbing the fabric of his jacket, digging down to his skin.
The next few minutes he blacked out, not aware how he had freed himself and got out of this mine.
Next thing he knew was how he threw his backpack, jacket and mask on the floor, which he had only carried in his hand, just like himself, to suffocate the last ember.
The FBI agents had surrounded the place and their voices echoed through the trees as they searched for him.
Now, far from the burning debris, Jake finally collapsed on the cold ground. It was miles from civilization, surrounded by towering trees and stars glistening in the clear night sky. The pain was unbearable, every breath reminded him of the rage the fire carried.
He looked up into the sky, the stars shining as bright as ever. It seemed peaceful, an ice-cold contrast to the inferno he had escaped just minutes ago.
Right now he was thinking about the countless hours he had spent in front of glowing screens, the thrill of maneuvering out those who wanted to catch him. But now that he was consciously facing death, everything seemed meaningless.
The forest ground was hard and merciless, but in the silence of the night there was a calming atmosphere.
His thoughts drifted away, fragments of memories and regret interwoven with pain. He had been a loner his whole life, a ghost in the machine, now he was just a shadow between the trees.
He never thought his life would end like this, but somehow it was okay for him, he was tired. Tired of the fight, tired of life on the run.
If there werenât the thoughts of MC creeping in the back of his head. He believed that this was the only thing he really regretted; never seeing her in reality, never kissing her. Above all, the broken promise that he would still be there after Hannahâs discovery would be broken, and he could do nothing about it.
The cold slowly crept through his body, the hackerâs breath flattened. His powers waned and the stars above him blurred into a hazy vortex.
His life, marked by secrets and loneliness, slipped out of his fingers. In his last moments he found comfort in the quiet beauty of the night sky, a reminder that even in his darkest hour he was part of something greater.
His insides showed him single pictures of his youth, single pictures of his mother, he saw the emails he had exchanged with Hannah. And he saw MC, the pictures he had seen of her. The sky gave him peace, but not as much as seeing her eyes, her lips, her laughter one last time.
He could have done many things differently in his life, he could have prevented many things, so many chances he had not taken. So many missed situations, so many untapped opportunities. But he wouldnât have regretted anything as much as missing the moment to confess his love to her. It was almost as if he knew how this night would end.
He had gathered all his damn courage and refused to leave until he had told her what he felt for her. It was the scariest and biggest thing he had ever done, but she had returned his love. Without hesitation, without thinking. She loved him.
And while he was lying here, this thought comforted him very much. His life was not beautiful, but her light had finally led him through the darkness. Even though all this had brought him to exactly this point, it had made his last months on earth the most wonderful time he had ever had. And he was happy to learn what it feels like to be loved. How it is when there was someone who was worried and someone who was happy when he showed up.
MC had given him everything he wished to feel.
And how do they say? 'Leave when it's at its best'
With a final, trembling breath, Jake closed his eyes, the hacker who had eluded his capture until the end. The forest stood as a silent witness, the stars above twinkling in eternal indifference as Jakeâs life disappeared in the night.
His vision blurred, the world around him darkened as his body succumbed to the injuries.
Long live the hacker, long live the love.
