I've been working on this for a few months now, writing the first chapter and some character profiles. while in the main game who's the youngest and who's the oldest isn't mentioned at all [because it doesn't really matter] both in the comics and art book from the game they confirm mugman is the youngest [there's the novels and the show, but i haven't finished those yet so i'm not sure if that subject ever comes up], and the comics specially paint such a beautiful picture of the brothers relationship

my favorite comic from the books was one where Mugman wildly misinterprets how growing plants work, and when corrected he gets embarrassed and runs away crying. Cuphead, instead of making fun of him, tells elder kettle and chalice how sad it makes him to see his little brother like that, so over night he helps Mugman's plant to grow full size in just a few hours

and that it's just so sweet. Cuphead is in the comics, although a bit selfish and irresponsible [he is a kid, so, understandable], VERY nice to his lil brother. And yes they fight sometimes but there's a very clear dynamic at play there, one very different to the one they have in the show

i like the show a lot, but they portray the brothers as- twins? i guess? [or at least they have a very small age difference, like 1 year or so, while the comics i'd say there's a 2, almost 3 year diffence] and i like how they're more even now, Cuphead doesn't see him as his baby brother so he's meaner, and Mugman has a lot more control now, sometimes bossing around Cuphead. And as a result, the show is funnier of course, it's fun to see how the one in control of the situation changes from episode to episode, but i still sort of miss this specific portrayal of siblings

First he had to calm down a guilt devoured Koi, now these Weridos fall outta the sky and invade their camp? What’s next, Someone loses a leg??

“I kinda feel bad for tying them up..” Dale whimpered. “WHY??? the little orange one was gonna attack us!!!” Chip reminded her, trying to be the reasonable one here. “Yeah but.. Besides that, they seem really nice!! and look at that one!! It’s got cool red paint on its face!!”

“as much as I love a complement, this isn’t paint. It’s my skin, thank you very much.” Leon smirked, sparkling as usual. Except there were literal sparkles..- what the hell???

Chip just..observed carefully. wow, this guy was gayer than him and mugs combined. And that’s really saying something here. Though he hated to admit, these guys did seem kinda harmless.

‘I’m sure the grown-up’s could take these bozos in a fight, anyway. So..whats the big deal?? What’s everyone so afraid of?’

Chip, being the observant guy he is, decided to go check on the others. Since everyone was acting a little bit off. And suspicious, he might add. “Come on.” He Signaled Dale to ‘follow his lead.’ And within seconds, the siblings were on a investigation.

it was quiet. too quiet. Why you may ask? Well, I’ll let cup answer that one.

Cuphead Stares at raph. No conversation, no movement, just an intimidating cold stare. Raph couldn’t even bare to meet his gaze, so he turned to face the tents wall. As this starring contest continued on, the 2 bystanders looked at eachother with concern.

“cup, lay off dude. It’s been like 5 minutes. You’re scaring the poor guy!!” Mugs suggested. No one dared move.

another couple minutes go by, and mugs tries again. Again, not movement.

She tries again and again, and like every time before..

Nothing happened.

“UGHH!! WHY CAN YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME?!” He shouted, readying up a punch to the face. “Hey, hey! Mugs, calm. Down. Anger will not fix anything.” Boris reassured him, in a desperate attempt to calm her down.

“Tell me, Bucko. Why’re you really here??” cup finally spoke up, building up the tension. Raph finally Met eyes with him.

“I don’t know, ok?! Look, one minute I was hanging out with my brothers, watching a Jupiter Jim movie, and then-“

”wait, who’s Jupiter Jim?” Mugs asked, not expecting to be heard. But of course..

He was.

“ah! Jupiter Jim is the main protagonist in me and my brothers favourite movies! He’s so cool, and also have a red panda sidekick!! But there’s also comics, fan fics, graphic novels, spin-offs, fan made episo-“

“Ok can you shut up? We don’t wanna hear about your nerdy lil sci-fi show, uh..whatever you are.” Raph went completely silent after that, slightly embarrassed.

“Dude. I-“ mugs sighs.

“Ok, move it boy toy.” He attempts to shove cup outta the way. But uh..

Cup snickers at his brothers failed attempt to move him.

“Keep trying, toothpick. One day maybe you’ll be able to make me move an arm” he howls with laughter. Mugs rolled his eyes. Tsk, at least he wasnt an overachiever study nerd.

Raph Just Watch the 2 siblings, letting out a small laugh.

Cup immediately turned his attention back to raph, looking kinda..pissed..off? Uh oh..-

“Find something funny?” his voice was low, as he inched in closer to Raph’s face. He stares at him again, narrowing his eye.

“n-nooooooo…?”

“just leave the guy alone. You’re being a bitch.” Mugs told him off, putting a hand on her hip.

“WHA- I AM NOT!! THIS GUY COULD BE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!!!” “Cup, he doesn’t even have any weapons.” this seems to get cup upset, he rolls his eyes and storms out. What a baby. Mugs scowls at him as he leaves, soon turning his gaze to their unexpected visitor.

“Sorry..a-about him. He’s just..very cautious..of people..”

“Well, can you blame him?” Boris stepped in.

“you and him have been through a lot together. He’s just trying to protect you.”

Well, this seemed to get to mugs. He thought for a moment. She hated to admit it but..Boris was right. Maybe they’d been acting like a jerk to cup.

As he got lost in his thoughts, Boris glanced at their prisoner.

this was gonna be one hell of a day, huh.

Up till this point, I had not yet included spin-off video games (for example: spin-off Cars franchise video games). Cuphead, however, started as a video game, so it can't possible be ignored.

I- don't see them as adults. At least not in the current events of the game/show/comics/novels. Sure, I sometimes portray them as adults in the future. Key wording, in the future.

Either way, why should it matter how someone sees them? If they're not doing anything gross with it, it shouldn't matter if Cuphead is 10 or 19 dude. There's a reason they're labeled as adolescents. (that's ages 10-19.) Bro I'm just sitting here in my little corner drawing the boys doing silly shenanigans, and at that, I usually draw their parents more-

Cuphead Show: Dreamstone Edition Henchman Headcanons

The part where Henchman adds in “Head” every time the Devil refers Cuphead as “That cup” becomes a running gag in the fanfic adaption, followed up by the Devil bluntly answering, “Thank you, Henchman”.

Despite being a demon and the Devil’s minion, Henchman is surprisingly good friends with the Dreamstones, most especially Katie, who he often refers to as Miss Katie.

He was considering about calling Katie “Mrs. Boss” once the Devil succeeds in marrying her.

Henchman is basically the only known demon in the Underworld who enjoys the Devil’s theatrical performance in the Devil’s personal theatre.

He likes jazz music, anything that swings and enjoys the Devil playing the piano, pipe organ and violin.

He likes to sleep in bed with a teddy bear he affectionately named “Ms. Cuddles”.

Henchman likes bright colours. He likes blue, green, yellow, orange, white, teal and purple. However, surprisingly, his most favourite colour is pink because he thinks it’s a cute colour.

His favourite animal is a cat. He most especially adores kittens.

His favourite sweets and desserts are cookies, brownies, doughnuts and cupcakes.

His favourite dishes are macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken salads. He also enjoys peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every now and then.

His favourite choice of beverages are hot chocolate, grape juice and fruit punch.

He prefers purely smooth orange juice since he doesn’t like the bits floating in it.

His first time of being the new host of Roll the Dice in place of King Dice was also ironically his last since the comical incident when he accidentally botched his attempt to mimic Dice’s dance moves had him trip over and get stuck in a tuba.

Henchman’s favourite choice of place for a vacation is a day at the beach. He also enjoys seaside sunsets the most. He would like to sped his day offs at in a log cabin in a snowy forest since he thinks they’re so cosy.

Henchman is the only one in the Underworld who knows about the Devil likes the company of a rubber duck Old Scratch affectionately names “Mr. Squeaks” in the bath tub while the Devil has one of his pampered bubble baths.

Although he isn’t as much as a fan of Stickler as the Devil isn’t, Henchman isn’t above being mildly more tolerable towards the auditor when they have to work together on certain subjects or if they’re pulled into certain circumstances such as when the Devil has them be part of the audience during his dance-off against Ms. Chalice.

One of his favourite past times is crochet and he once made a sweater for the Devil to cover up his bald spots after the incident of Mugman throwing the invisible sweater over him that burnt off the most of his fur.

Henchman doesn’t like extreme violence or anything too unnecessarily graphic.

He’s also a very good cook and bakes amazing sweets.

His favourite books are Robin Hood, The Three Musketeers, Peter Pan, Treasure Island and romance novels. He enjoys the Mugbeard the Pirate series as much as Mugman, even though he’s disappointed about the ending of the previous book.

He was the one to give the Devil his #1 Boss coffee mug as a gift.

What's your thoughts on the Cuphead Show?

I loved it! I loved the animation and the opening theme is a bop. Most of the episodes were very entertaining too and I laughed a lot!

I felt like they exaggerated Cuphead's character in some episodes of the 2nd season. Like his character just felt way more meanspirited than funny sometimes imo

Ngl, and I am biased I'm sorry--- but I am salty they gave that B*by B*ttle another episode but Birdwatchers got scrapped 😭😭😭 I'm gonna sound extra cringe & insane on main, but after my boy (🐦) got forgotten in the comics, novel, dice game, merch... Like, I've already reached the 5th stage of grief when I finished the last episode, so the extreme gut punch I felt after reading the tweet about the scrapped episodes. I--

TL;DR it was pretty good, I loved it!!! I just disliked some parts. I really want the show to be renewed so badly, but I'm keeping my hopes low so I won't get my heart broken :((((

I'm mad the Comic Jumper: The Adventures Of Captain Smiley is such a obscure game it's got that Earthworm Jim with Adult Swim feel to it.

I like the main character with his star partner with their different personalities.

But this game is stuck on the Xbox 360. I finally watched Rebeltaxi/Panpizza's new video and most of those games were creative but seemed to be released at the wrong time.

I know if this game came out nowadays it probably would have been a thing.

Gained a new crush though.

This game gives me Cuphead vibes too with the character shooting at stuff then the battle changes.

Also each level has it's own theme which is cool.

Also are Captain Smiley and the Star brothers?

Also the Star is a Brad simp.

This game is giving me Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Gemusetto, and Oishi high school battle vibes.

If Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley ever got a sequel I would love it to have either Captain Smiley and Star arguing then the next day Star goes missing on Captain Smiley's chest.

This causes the comic to fail again that Captain Smiley has to do the odd comic jobs again while also trying to find his star shaped partner.

And the person who painstaking removed Star off of Captain Smiley.

Also give Star a body and make him fight Captain Smiley in a fight.

Also have both of them talk it out on whether or not Star wants to become his own hero or just be the sidekick stuck on the hero.

Also give Star his Brad simping moment with his new body.

Everytime Captain Smiley tells a joke a cricket sound effect would play and he would say "Oh yeah Star isn't here."

Then he would move on without telling many joke since he has no one to bounce jokes on with besides Gerda and she would be making fun of him the entire game.

I want Captain Smiley to Comic Jump go into graphic novels, webcomics, fan comics with okay art styles, and old school cartoon comics.

And comic jump into a shonen manga similar to either have the same energy as Bobobo-bo bo-bobo, Jojo's bizarre adventure, or Yuyu Hakusho in feel.

Like imagine Captain Smiley entering in the beach episode of a manga.

Similar to the beach episode in Bobobo.

A old school cartoon and humanization of Captain Smiley would be awesome.

I imagine Captain Smiley being a weaker version of himself without Star.

He's not as strong and as witty without Star since he keeps Smiley in check while also joking with him.

Similar to the dynamic of Más y Menos from Teen Titans.

I would have rather have the PPG parody comic world rather than the Conan the Barbarian world which was my least favorite world in the game.
