Sneaky Shadows (part 1?)

You sneaked out of the room you and Thor shared. Outside you still heared a few Asgardians leaving the palace after todays wedding. Now you and Thor were officially a married couple, which made you the future queen. You sneaked into the royal library of Asgard and lit a few candles. You looked around to make sure that no-one was around, took your diary out and opened a new page. While you were writing about your wedding day and night a few tears ran over your cheeks and landed on the paper. No one really knew what you thought about the whole wedding thing. No one knew that you didn't like Thor. That you didn't love him. That you had other preferences. How unhappy you were about the relationship you two shared. How horribly unsatisfied he left you on your wedding night. How he just turned around and fell asleep leaving alone, desperate and uncomfortable. After a while you laid your dairy to the side and picked out a book. A old novel to distract yourself from the unsatisfied feeling between your thighs. You could barely concentrate on thenwords before you. Eventually just you put the book down, to go back to bed, but suddenly you realised that your diary had disappeared. You looked confused around, until you spotted a long, dark figure leaning against a bookshelf, holding your diary in his long fingers. "But no one knew about the aching feeling Thor had left inside of me that night", he read the last sentence out loud. "I must say you have lovely writing style, dea-" "LOKI?! Give that back! It's mine!", you ripped the book out of his hands and glared up to him. He let out a amused chuckle. "Oh, come on! Does the future queen of Asgard not enjoy a bit of teasing?" Loki laughed and stood up straight, his gaze wandered over your body as he towered over you. "You had no right to read this! It's private.", you hissed. He raised and eyebrow and you could clearly see how he was suppressing a laugh. "Ok...your majesty. My apologies. I had no right to read your personal diary" You nodded and looked up. Your eyes wandered over his beautiful, raven-black hair, that fell a bit messy over his shoulders. He probably woke up not to long ago...unless... "Were you alone?" "What?"

Words affect me. #Blatantdisrespect angers me. So, when those two collided in what I believed to be a racist rant that ended in me being called “ #theNword ,” I had a visceral reaction. It was a surreal experience. A #blackman I have known for many years introduced me to this white man. When I stood to shake his hand, the #whiteman said, “What’s up n—a?” Caught completely off-guard, I reacted. “What the (expletive) did you just say to me?” He didn’t flinch. Instead, he put his hand over his mouth and said, “I guess I can’t #joke around here.” Disclosure: I am an open book. I try as much as possible to use these experiences to create change. But, it is with this same openness that I will share that my change fuel ran low. I cursed him out. My normal filter was unleashed. Curiously, releasing my venom didn’t faze him. He would talk to me most of the evening. It ruined my night and my weekend. #PERMISSIONGRANTED Afterward, I kept asking myself why I was so offended. I deal with this kind of #socialdisorder for a living. People say off-kilter things to me all the time that most people would find offensive. My training and my book are steeped in granting people permission to feel and say whatever is needed to help them confront and work through thorny feelings, and I encourage people to say what they want to say without worrying about being politically correct......
