someone needs to do a study or hell maybe a whole damn thesis paper could be done on on whether or not you can experience physical withdrawal symptoms from stopping a certain app, or mobile phone use altogether

Every time I open the app store and it tells me to turn on notifications and tries to sell me a subscription service,
every time I see that I can't uninstall facebook, chrome, google, etc., only 'disable' them,
every time I try to get root access to MY phone and the system blocks me from doing it,
every time I am forced to update my phone,
every time I get a notification telling me that the terms of service have been altered,
I want to
[Remembers not to make public threats of terrorism]
break my phone in half.

Is 9-10 am early enough for red rocks to get semi close to the front near the stage do you think for GA?😭😭 i’m traveling and that’s the earliest i can be there sighhh
Honestly I think you'll be good at that time, yeah. I know the first 7 or 8 rows are Restricted/VIP/ADA, so if you have a GA ticket there's no way to be at the barrier anyway, but also there are supposedly no bad seats in that amphitheater. Everything is tiered and set up so that you'll be able to see over the people in front of you and only the people on the very fringes of each row may have an obstructed view of one side of the stage.
My personal goal is to get right behind the sound stage pit, or maybe to one of the sides, because that railing would kind of simulate being at the barricade (nobody directly in front of you) even though it's not right up front.
If you can, bring a poncho, because I'm honestly more worried about the supposed forecast thunderstorm and cold weather than about getting super close to the stage (I am a desert girlie; I am not built for wet or cold lol). Hopefully it passes during the day so it doesn't rain on the audience while we're worshipping but the weather at Red Rocks is unpredictable at best.

....while I haven't played the ubisoft avatar game myself, or more accurately, I have obsessively played the x360 one, I doubt it could be better than the Ancient Forest of Monster Hunter World.
I have. Never seen a jungle location be this layered, vertical and complex, while also remaining extremely readable. Like, there'a and easy route around the map and insides of a giant tree in the center of it, to act as a crossing or shortcut. However, the actual map is... so much more detailed than just this.
There are vine swing-jumping sections which open up new pathways for you, there are less noticeable vines to climb, which reveal new arboreal pathways ahead. There is an entire 'jungle-catwalk' section right near the dragon nest at the top of the giant tree. You cannot navigate these additional paths with map, it is much more simple and natural just to remember them and trust your memory on this.
It's just I have spawned in a rainy weather for the first time, and started exploring these vines, and this has been THE Avatar experience. Honestly no other game has ever made a more natural and interesting forest to explore than this one.
I genuinely did not anticipate this level of detail, beauty and meticulous attention to everything from a game about exterminating dinodragons. I picked it up for the Monster Hunter part of it the title, but let me tell you the World part is the actual gem of the game for me, I am in love with this.

so... Steam decided to randomly wipe my entire Commons folder, and as a result I lost a lot of art files (mostly pixel art), because they were located in one of the game folder.
How the fuck does this happen?

Some Genshin fans are so stupid. Your boycott isn’t gonna work because you went f2p on a gacha game that has millions of players and shit tons of whales; they’ve accounted for f2p already, and it boosts their numbers too for shareholders.
Like you are just addicted to the game and gambling. Just uninstall and that would actually (very marginally) hurt their numbers.
This is like the 4th useless boycott so far.

it's so frustrating to turn on my computer every day with the hope it'll be fixed but nope... sound still off, audio hardware is still not being read
and there's nothing wrong! That's the worst part. There's nothing wrong with the drivers or settings, there's nothing wrong with the socket or my headphones... it's all because the latest windows update fucked something up! So my only hope now is that they'll release a new update that will somehow fix it cause otherwise I will be permanently on mute forever

Ah, yes, the always-nerve wracking "do I have enough disk space free for the temporary update download?" that is inherent with a low storage laptop + SWtOR. xD
