Feels like one of those nights where I think about mass deleting my AO3 but whatever.

It would arguably make more sense in my scenario if they just reduce, reuse, and recycle the medicine sellers every time one dies (read: pop them back into the reincarnation cycle and then pick them back up again once they’re healed) since we’re pulling from a very specific branch of Buddhism but tbh, since that’s still technically a different person, it still works as is, and it’s not relevant imo.
I also like the concept that it just “releases” them from the service to die too so…

I like shipping tbh but tbh, I don’t really “separate” platonic and romantic love if that makes sense? To me, it’s something that goes deeply together and can melt into one another.
Everyone, at the very least, is a little bit in love with their friends, so that’s what I like to portray in my stories. They’re both lovers and friends.
I do like using shipping as bounce-off point for other stuff, but I don’t really “see” romantic love as the highest form of love or whatever. They’re just also friends who happen to have sex together.
That sounds deeply homophobic, but idk, I’m just not Big on applying labels or having “neatly cut” ideas/boundaries for the love that shows up in my stories.
#deeply pretentious#like if I *had to* apply labels to myself it’d be panromantic asexual with aromatic tendencies#but it’s just not a big deal to me if the labels don’t fir#*fit exactly or the ideas that I use aren’t clear-cut

After last time, they make Hyper shake his sleeves first and a bunch of tiles fall out but that’s just a ruse. His actual method of cheating this time is [redacted]

It's funny having a very high tolerance for pain but a very low tolerance for other forms of discomfort. Like yea tattoos piercings cramps shots cuts bruises whatever thats nothing. But I better not get nauseous or hear a loud sound. Or I'll die

I should write Ri and Kon board game/card game night crack featuring the aftermath after everything has degraded into an all-out brawl among the Bagua because everyone is a merchant (and will haggle) + also cheats. It cuts down on the number of characters that I’d have to juggle + OCs.
(Ri shoved a tiny talisman on the medicine seller of Qian’s back on the way to the bathroom and just straight up counts cards and Kon just scribbled a very tiny seal into every card in the deck beforehand to manipulate card order. Not to mention the others…)
The sword spirits are very much aware but they’re arguing in the next room about their own game (mahjong) and “fucking spit them out, Spirit of Kon.” (All of them are also cheating)
#but also id actually have to learn how to play Monopoly so#‘what does the talisman do’ nothing legal in a game of cards#‘everyone knows you cheat in capitalism’—Medicine Seller of Zhen#it’s an open secret everyone is cheating but theyre trying to find it out#so they can beat each other to death#they assumed the spirit of Kon swallowed his extra tiles and swaps them out
