small leisurely moments like these mean more than expected
ok hi triglycergang. it's AUGUST?!?!?! ugh,,,, anyways here's my like once a month art piece because i am a slow ass artist. the mtt are supposed to be chatting at a park during sunset!!! also new au just dropped
you wonder why killer dust and horror are wearing those DISGUSTING outfits??? you wonder where killer's soul is??? well it's all gone in this au which is called uhhh.
jk fashion au... wooooo!!
first things first to know: this au is NOT my idea. it was originally someone on twitter's idea to dress sans aus up in nanchatte seifuku but i think their account got deleted/banned. and i cant find the account because it was a japanese account and probably has some random username. so just remember that this isn't my idea but i guess my own twist on it. i really wish i could find the og creator,,,,
second thing to know: what the fuck nanchatte seifuku/jk (just kidding) fashion even is. here's the link to read for yourself: https://aesthetics.fandom.com/wiki/Nanchatte_Seifuku. yeah that's jk fashion. i really loved this au when i found it originally because i myself dress up in jk and also i just really love soft fluffy things like this. this au isn't gonna be angsty or particularly elaborate or anything i just wanted cute things and women in my murder time trio. also this isn't gyaru btw
third thing: uhh my inspirations for this??? well my main one that i really wanna focus on is that feeling of happy sentimental melancholy. you know like after you finish a really fun day hanging out with your friends and youre on the drive home and look back at how fun the day was? that's what i wanna encapsulate :3 also i think that the day to day school life is really cute and sweet and i wanna make more designs for the other aus so my trio can have more people to hang out with
well uhhh i think that's it?? mayhaps i shall begin drafting up other designs for the other aus. i wanna make little mini comics for this too like 4koma because i love those short yet sweet comics!!! should i tag this? i think i should tag this perchance. also extra mtt notes/full designs below became i love these three they're my daughters

ok yknow what else. I am so glad they're acknowledging the 180. I haven't really voiced this cuz I was otherwise so excited for this season but I really was on the verge of indignation about them just deciding to make gabriel a goofy sidekick after he was literally the biggest villain of season 1. it really felt like they weren't willing to acknowledge just how much pain he's actually caused aziraphale and crowley and, to be honest, it seemed a little out of the blue that aziraphale would try to help him. but no. they're actually talking about it. it's a central point of conflict for them that crowley rightfully wants nothing to do with this because it's GABRIEL, he tried to kill aziraphale, he's still understandably terrified that heaven will try to hurt him again, and now he wants this guy nowhere near either of them, and cannot understand why aziraphale would have him in his bookship after what he's done. and as for why aziraphale wants to help him, that seems like it's actually going to be explored rather than just accepted for the sake of the plot moving forward. not only have they not forgotten just what gabriel did or tried to do last season, they're placing that lasting fear and apprehension towards him front and centre and are going to have aziraphale and crowley conflict over whether or not he deserves their help. I'm honestly so relieved because I had always been staunchly anti-gabriel and never really enjoyed the fandom's overly jovial attitude towards him, and was genuinely really skeptical when it seemed they were going to make him a sympathetic character in the new season, especially since the trailer played the comedic angle for all it was worth. but it's not just absurdity for absurdity's sake. it's actually something for our main couple to work through. the writing knows this is a difficult shift in dynamic to contend with. and they're directly employing it as an obstacle for aziraphale and crowley. it's really good and it's put a lot of my worries about the overall tone and messaging of this season to rest

Breathing into a paperbag thinking about the possibility of Elbaf digging the conflict from Water 7 back up again and maybe exploring some long-term repercussions of Luffy and Usopp’s fight that not even they themselves were aware of and and and and and-
LISTEN. the Water 7 Saga absolutely rewired the way I understood the crew and how each member views themselves and the roles they play. And it’s been some time since the Strawhat’s exploration of the New World has allowed them to really take time and consider themselves and each other like that again.
And Elbaf just sounds (MUAH) like such a wonderful opportunity to do exactly that, it sounds perfect, primarily in the way it ties all the way back to the Strawhat’s early days on the Grand Line. And when you look at the presence of the Giant Pirates in Little Garden and Enies Lobby, what they share is that both times the Giants Served the purpose mirroring the conflicts between the crewmates and highlighting the importance of loyalty and comradery. Shit writes itself. Come on Elbaf don’t let me down. Come on Usopp I know you can hit us with another world shattering arc just take the stage love.

btw even with some of these celebrities now posting about donating to palestians funds/aids, sure that's good in terms of providing resources, but it doesn't mean they're pro palestine. it's taken majority of them the best part of 7 months to finally post but that's all they've done is share a link. and yes resources are very needed but unless they have outright called this what it is, and that is unmistakably a genocide, none of us should be calling them pro palestine. the one thing that differentiates this genocide from the ones before it and what makes it infinitely worse is that it is being documented in real time and the people on the ground as much as they need the resources right now, the one thing they've also repeatedly asked for from the beginning is to share their voices and call this out for what it is. it's easy for these rich folk to spend what is essentially 'change' for them but we should not be giving any of them the benefit of the doubt and none of them should be getting any praise for it either because frankly no one deserves any praise for doing anything for palestine. there is no 'moral dessert' to be sought for this.

I can grin and bear a lot of Maedhros slander. But giving him, the OG Thingol hater, pre- Quenya ban and Silmaril Quest even, who is trying to unite all of Beleriand in his Union against Morgoth and who will kill himself to never have to relinquish the Silmaril he eventually retrieves, the exact same opinions as Thingol rather than Celegorm and Curufin on the Silmaril Quest is where I draw the line.
You really think the guy who's trying to get everyone he can on board is gonna be angry at C&C for trying to recruit a hidden (ergo useless to him) realm to his cause rather than the flip-flopping elves of Nargothrond and Finrod's willingness to throw his own brothers and their family oath and labour of their fathers SOUL-literally-under the bus for a stranger and the heiress of the guy who is content to sit and try to wait out Morgoth (who herself has no plans whatsoever to eventually help out with that or try to convince her father to chip in a bit)? Instead of Beren and Luthien's selfish "politics? what politics?" attitude or Thingol for the temerity to set the quest in the first place? On my hands and kness begging people to stop trying to strip Maedhros from his canonical demonstrated character traits, motivations, opinions, loyalties and strength of character (and pride. Dear lord let Maedhros have his canonical pride. Not everyone is secretly an insecure, self-loathing mess and there's NOTHING to suggest this in Maedhros in particular. Seems primarily like people tying his potential scars from Thangorodrim to self-worth issues, what a novel concept. The guy is the lynchpin holding the Noldor and their resistance together, he is performing and leading better than literally anyone else, there's nothing to be insecure and angsty ABOUT except general war-related unpleasantness).
If it was Maedhros he would have either killed Beren on the spot disguised as an unfortunate casualty once he made clear he wasn't dissaduated by the oath or smiled and waved him off to Angband with a "good luck" and imprisoned Luthien for negotiations with Thingol and a "took care of your suitor problem AND got your daughter safe in custody, what have you got for me in return?" when she came looking for Beren, be for real now.

tubbo going to prison really depends on whether or not he gets a fair trial. which i do not expect will happen. he has full permission for his perimeter project, it's not going to stay a hole forever, and it's going to be cool and functional. and if we're talking about past crimes, most of them were not technically illegal until after he did them or they were things that other islanders were doing at the same time. i wonder if any of them will start to pick up on the fact that he isn't just a rule breaker and that he's being made into a scapegoat.
Honestly he does break the rules a lot, but I get your point he really hasn’t done anything other islanders don’t do themselves. It just seems like he gets a more aggressive response, including actively changing laws to prevent him. One of the main reasons I think that he’ll end up in prison even in a fair trial is who would vouch for him, most people have literally evidence of them saying or talking about him breaking the rules. Everyone has already decided he deserves to be there, or actively think of it as a joke.

I hope this teaches the fandom that woman are Human and humans lie, and "believe the victim" is just a thin veiled way to tell people to believe strangers on the internet.
(I also saw you talking about the r/dwt2, I just wanted to highlight that most people on there aren't a stan, I myself I'm in there because is a good place to debate, most of the posts there are not really about dream lol)
Okay I do want an acknowledge quickly that yes not everyone on the r/dreamwastaken2 are stans. I do see that even people on the subreddit are complaining that some members are using any issue in the fandom to like justify hating the QSMP so it is fair to say all other people just stuck in between a few bad eggs.
Now this next part I'm gonna say what the most sensitivity as I can as a victim of SA myself. I understand why we want to believe all victims I get it a lot of us are victims ourself.
Even when we were telling the truth it might have been hard to get people to believe us, we know what it felt like to not have that support and we want to give that support back to others.
So when someone comes and say they're a victim, we tend to project a lot of our trauma onto it and go immediately get defensive.
Keeping that in mind I understand why people want to just automatically believe the victim but people take advantage of that, Were in an age were People will do anything to defend their traumatic experiences.
which they have all right to but in doing so our own emotions are our trauma are being used against us. this is the 3rd time in the past 2 years that I've heard of a victim actually being the abuser, twice is which the actual victim was ace.
In my opinion I don't think we should automatically jump to just immediately believing whatever the victim says and then as a result attacking people and it's okay for people to go back and look and decide if they wanna believe the victim but I don't think we should immediately jump to death threats and harassment, especially When you might actually just ruin the career of the complete innocent person.
I think of creators like
Spector theory
Kwite
Gus Johnson (who I didn't even know wasn't as guilty as she made him seem untill like 5 months after it happened)
And now adding Cellbit tô that list, And I'm sure just like these people still get shit from people who don't believe them and think any attempt to defend themselves was them "silencing the victim" I'm sure Cellbit is getting his fair share of it too.
The truth is it's not gonna happen like this, it's gonna take at least 3 more years of people being falsely accused and proven themselves to be innocent before the internet finally gets the lesson.
I get that in the past when the movement originally started it was much more difficult for those issues to be taken seriously by police and there was much less chance for people to like actually be believed. back then we just attack them call them liars come ask about what they were wearing.
And yes that still happens now but it happens so much smaller scale, I'm not saying that we should attack any victims either, Just that it's OK to look at the evidence with the critical eye then let law enforcement handle it.
