Because between Aruani, Armin's the more "dominant one" (in a soft-boy way) whereas in Jeanpiku, that's Pieck's role xD

On a double date, Armin will compliment Annie in the sweetest, most innocent way possible, something like "omg Annie you look so pretty in that hat (⁠灬•⁠ᴗ⁠•灬⁠)⁠♡". But can you imagine Pieck? Just smirking as Jean tries on a hat or a shirt or something before she goes: *whistle* "Hooo boi, I wanna smash ( ͡ ° ͜ʖ ͡ °)"

📢 Him and Rengoku are best buddies so Uzui always tries to find Rengoku a wife or atleast a girlfriend! I feel like Tengen has at least once tried to convince Rengoku to go to the Entertainment District

📢 I feel like overdressing for casual occasions is his favourite pastime (he's so flamboyant)

🍡 Pretty sure she will do eating comps with other Hashiras. I think that Uzui would be the first to challenge her saying something like "Despite your flamboyant look, Mitsuri, I'm sure I can beat you in an eating comp-" he never stood a chance. Like ever.

🍡 Aside from her bubbly personality, I feel like on the inside she's very insicure about her appearence. I feel like she would like to gain a bit of weight but it's just kind of impossible for her. She never talked to anyone about her insecurities.

🍡 I think she would LOVE to have a 'girl's night' with Shinobu. During the said 'girl's night' Mitsuri would enjoy cooking (especially eating what they cooked after ^^), doing make-up or skin care, talking about boys and other girly stuff like that!

🦋Shinobu Kocho

🦋 When she was younger she got bullied SO BADLY for her height, and that is the reason why she's always on the defensive when someone mentions her height, it dosn't matter if the person is doing it to make fun of her or not.

🦋 I feel like whenever she gets a compliment from someone she gets SUPER flustered. I think she gets flustered easyly for some reason. She'll try to hide her blush with her hands or by looking towards another direction and say something like "Fufu you're going to make me blush silly!"

☁️ Even if he tends to forget people's names easyly, i feel like he would remember the names of the ones who kind of gave him some type of lesson, like life lesson or smth.

☁️ I think he's not very close to none of the Hashiras and that is another reason why he tends to be more shy and stoic. I also think that he would actually enjoy spend time with someone kinda like him (if you get what I mean lol) like cloud gazing with someone or sharing toughts about whatever is around in that moment.

☁️ In my opinion, among of the Hashiras, Uzui and Rengoku are the ones he likes the least. The main reason is because of their loudness, like let's be honest, they're 100% the loudest ones of the group. Muichiro prefers to be around quiet people.

🐍Obanai Iguro

🐍 The reason why he loves Mitsuri is because she is the complete opposite of him. Like she's lively, bubbly, caring, cute and all that stuff while he's stubborn, grumpy, reserved, diffident etc.

🐍 I feel like his humour would be based in sarcasm. I also think that he would be the type to say "no" when somebody asks him to hand them something but then proceed to pass them what they asked for. And ofc dark humour. He will try his best though to not use that kind of humour when around Mitsuri!

🐍 His favourite places to stay while relaxing are high places like trees or roofs. He likes how people can't quite notice him when he's up there and he secretly kind of enjoys scaring other Hashiras sometimes lol!

🪨Gyomei Himejima

🪨 He is super sweet, kind and caring towards children. Like imagine this: Gyomei is peacefully walking on a village's path when two random kids bump into him. The two kids start frenetically apologizing when Gyomei crouches down before placing his large hands on the two kids' heads. "Don't worry, little ones, go ahead and continue playing" He says with a gentle smile on his face (OMG I JUST LOVE HIM LOL).

🪨 He enjoys helping other Hashiras out with everyday chores, like getting something from a shelf that is too high or other stuff like that! I think he's kind of a big brother figure to all of them.

🪨 For some reason I feel like he loves cats just as much as Mitsuri does! And that is why sometimes they hang out together and go in search for cats to feed and pet! ^^

🔪Sanemi Shinazugawara

🔪 Even if be tries to act tough, he deeply cares about other Hashiras. He sees them as family and since he lost most of his real family, he dosn't want to loose his second one.

🔪 He's not experienced AT ALL with women and that is why he gets SO flustered around them (just like his brother Genya i love them sm) but unlike Genya, he's great at hiding it. Also I feel like not many women could be attracted to him, not because he's not attractive as a man, but because of the kinda scary gaze he gives them when they approach him, he dosn't do that on porpouse though!

🔪 Just as he does for the Hashiras, he DEEPLY cares about his brother Genya and he feels kinda bad for everytime he didn't mention him to the other Hashiras or for whenever he avoided him (they deserve so much better ngl!)

🌊Giyuu Tomioka

🌊 He dosn't fully understand why the other Hashiras don't like him and that actualky hurts him. I feel like somtimes he just zones out thinking about why the others don't like him and stuff like that.

🌊 Sometimes he tries to start convos with other Hashiras but it always ends up being awkard ^^'. I also think that he tried to like hug someone atleast once but it all ended up being weird LOL. He probabily tried hugging Mitsuri, not because he is interest in her romantically or smth but because she's kind and sweet to everyone so she would have probabily agreed to hugging him! The only issue was that while he was awkwardly hugging her, Obanai appeared out of nowhere and started chasing Giyuu until nightime while Mitsuri was just standing there confused as hell.

🌊 Oppositely to Rengoku, i feel like his body would be perpetually cold, it would warm up though if he was near a fire or near something warm.

they get seated next to each other in elementary and little unmedicated-for-his-adhd natsu will not stop trying to talk to her

lucy was such a teachers pet and always the smartest in her classes so other students tended to resent/bully her

natsu was the first person to ever be friendly to her that didn't have ulterior motives (getting answers to their homework)

after that lucy just sort of sticks to his side every time they go for recess because otherwise she would be stuck by herself

natsu doesn't really mind it but as soon as lucy offers him a snack from her lunch and he never leaves her alone after that. they are best friends now in his eyes

when he meets her for the first time, igneel is very endeared towards lucy

jude. does not feel the same about natsu

he tolerates natsu being around because he's always been around, and layla liked him a lot when she was alive

they had their first kiss (sort of) in middle school because natsu was running and not looking where he was going until someone shouted out that lucy was in his way and he turned his head just in time for their lips to touch before he barreled her over

lucy is mortified, insists that this does not count and tells natsu he is not allowed to tell anyone ever

natsu honours her request but lucy is awkward about it for like a week and cannot look him in the eye even though he doesn't get what the big deal is

going into high school they both know that they're going to be separated because lucy is going to be sent to a private school while natsu can only afford going to a public school

lucys begs and begs and begs some more to be sent to public school but jude will not budge

natsu does not want to be separated. he pretty much sees going with her as his only option so he works his ass off for a sports scholarship

lucy tutors him for the entrance exam and then proceeds to tutor him throughout high school so he can keep his scholarship

natsu plays every sport under the sun and lucy goes to all of his games

similarly, lucy plays the violin (though not of her own volition) and natsu comes to all of her recitals

jude assumes that they'd grow apart as they got older but they didn't. if anything they're closer in their teenage years

jude starts forbidding natsu from coming over when they're teens because he doesn't like the idea of lucy being alone in her room with a boy, it doesn't matter that they've known each other for years

this sparks the beginning of a rebellious streak where lucy will either sneak natsu in or she'll stay with natsu and lie about staying with levy or erza

natsu walks her home every day even though they live nowhere close to each other

when lucy swears not to tell a soul, natsu doesn't count. he knows everything lucy knows and nothing ever leaves their little bubble

natsu hears a lot of gossip because people just assume he's not listening when he is. anything he thinks lucy would be interested in he immediately tells her

he doesn't care for gossip but lucy does and he thinks it's funny when she gasps and gets over dramatic about finding out things

natsu has so many pictures from their childhood together and he frequently goes through them and sends pictures of any of the ones lucy looks stupid/funny/bad in and sends them to her without context

no guy ever dares to ask lucy out because they either think she's dating natsu or they're afraid of what he'd do to them if they did

he has made it very clear that anyone who hurts lucy will get hurt by him

their real first kiss happens in high school because lucy is all woe-is-me about not having her first kiss and natsu reminds her that they did technically kiss in middle school

after a lot of arguing about if that kiss counted or not, they kiss for real, just to see what the fuss is about

natsu only ever goes to school events at lucy's insistence

if she's not going he isn't either because he basically just sticks by her side at all times

lucy has a hidden spot in the library that she goes to whenever she's feeling down

no one but natsu knows it exists and if he can't find her he knows that's where she is

he always goes to her because he doesn't like her being sad on her own

Janus will kindly bully the Others into self-care when needed, which is often bc they need help

Virgil & Remus used to be like brothers when before Virgil left (especially due to the fact that he didn't really see Roman much)

Remus just wants to reconnect with the people he cares about that left him (Virgil & Roman)

Remus sees a lot of himself in Logan, which is why he wants him to go apeshit bc he needs to stop his ✨emotion repression✨

Patton has a secret stash of 'emotional emergency' cookies somewhere in his room

Orange calls everyone by colour instead of name (how I think of him, anyway)

At some point down the road of healing, Thomas hugs Remus and the Dukey Boi has a bit of a breakdown cause ✨angst✨

The Darks miss Virgil & he misses them (it's just really messy and complicated rn)

Logan & Roman have scheduled brainstorm sessions; as they get closer & heal, they also will sometimes knock on each other's door w/ their own special code when they need some support/comfort

Roman, as the Ego, is quite touch-starved at this point & Virgil finds this out when he goes to jokingly pat his face and Princey melts/gets confused on the affection (Virgil proceeds to cuddle him & Remus joins in on the Loving Roman to Death train)

namjoon: he gets a little lost trying to find his way back to the seats on his own, and when his arm gets grabbed by some important looking dude in a polo, he just goes with it - which is how he ends up in the locker room, sitting quietly through the entire opening pep talk before anyone notices him. the height, the muscles, the general look of confusion on his face: the new assistant coach saw him bumbling around and just assumed he was a healthy scratch - oops!

seokjin: is here exclusively for the shit-talk. bullies the opposing team mercilessly even though he's not actually 100% positive what's going on in the game - it doesn't matter. these clowns need to be TOLD and he's gonna be the one to do it. let's face it, he could play hockey better with his TOES than these losers can! he's also very supportive of any and all fights that break out, and think it's ridiculous that people get penalized for the most interesting part of the game!!

yoongi: possibly the only one actually focused on the game. somehow has all the team standings as well as every single player's name and stats memorized, and can provide them off the top of his head when asked (okay, nobody asked, but he's providing them anyway!!!!!!) (this does actually end up coming in handy when jimin wants to know the names of the cutest players) - he also complains LOUDLY when the refs make terrible calls, and jin immediately joins in despite not knowing or caring what hooking even means.

hoseok: doesn't even know who's winning, all he knows is that he wants to be on the jumbotron so bad - he's wiggling in his seat every time the music comes on, and once the cameraperson finds him, his pure joy meltdown of seeing himself on the screen is so endearing, it becomes a recurring theme the rest of the game to cut to hobi at least once during any given moment of downtime. they even pan over to him during the kiss cam, just for laughs, but jimin is READY and proceeds to lean over and plant the smooch of a lifetime on him.

jimin: jungkook notices it first, and everyone thinks he's mostly joking and/or projecting when he mentions it, but then yoongi corroborates: the players...... can't stop looking at him. two dudes literally skate into each other because neither of them can take their eyes off jimin. guys sitting on the bench are turning around to look at him. he just cards a hand through his hair and tries to keep his knowing smirk to himself.

taehyung: the mysterious enigma that he is, our boy disappears midway through the period, mumbling an excuse about wanting to stretch his long-ass legs which, yeah, fair. but just as seokjin is starting to complain that he's going to miss the start of the period if he doesn't make it back soon, hobi is swatting at his arm and pointing towards the ice because, yep, there taehyung is: sitting prim and proper on the back of the zamboni, princess-waving as he circles the ice. to this day, nobody knows how he talked his way into it.

jungkook: as far as he's concerned, this is an all-you-can-eat buffet with a side of sports. hot dogs, burgers, nachos, pretzels, chicken tenders, popcorn, churros - he's eating til he's nauseous and washing it down with as many beers as he can get away with before jin cuts him off. he's here for a good time, not a long time!!!! .....and yes he will complain the entire ride home that his stomach hurts 🥺

Tbh at first I thought that Aemond doing a 180 and not feeling regret for killing his brother is out of character for him since he's so bent on performing his duty, plus him not caring for his mother too, but then I tried looking at things from his perspective and it made so much sense.

Aemond had always been doing his duty, working hard, and toiling after something that was easily given to aegon only because he was the eldest son. And aegon had tormented him ever since he was a kid but he still took it to his face, because aegon was his brother, and it was his duty so he basically tolerated all his antics. But then comes his love for the reader, which clashes against his duty, I remember when in Aemond's pov he mentions that he would often make Aegon divert his bullying towards himself so the reader is saved shows how much he loves her.

What was once a pure love has been trampled under aemond's foot, dirtied by his rage, anger, selfishness, yet it still is love and although it was tainted, it didn't stop growing.

Although Aemond seemed to have claimed that he killed his old self, he surely holds onto the memories they both shared as younger kids, from chapter one of his pov to the lemoncake chapter, he relishes in them, willing to forget their differences only to be with her, he knew he couldn't have the same bond as they did before, but he tried.

Yet, Aemond always chose duty over his love, he had been doing so, for long amounts of time, and it surely affected him in a way, plaguing his mind, and especially after aegon raped the reader and to her losing their kid due to aegon, knowing he wasn't able to do anything to prevent it

It was all pent up feelings of helplessness, self regret, he probably felt like a little self again, and especially with reader's words when she called it out, it angered him because he knew she spoke the truth.

And now in the recent chapter, it was a final straw for him, Aemond probably was anxious on his return hoping nothing had happened to the reader, only for the reader to be brought to the throne room and once again be questioned, Aegon's words probably angered him, and his mother not even doing anything probably made him realise the weight of the situation, the weight of her words when she said that she was all alone, and that she had no one except him, and he probably realised he was helpless.

Aemond knew what aegon was saying isn't true, he knew his mother knew that too. Yet he watched as she turned blind eye to it, just as she always had to aegon's behaviour and I'm sure that also angered him. And with Aegon getting cocky thinking nothing could stop him, that he is king and he can do whatever he wants, he tried taking what's precious to aemond, just like he always had, and then tried to proceed and humiliate the reader by stripping her.

At that moment, he felt all these things, feelings catch up to him and he drew his blade and killed Aegon, he didn't feel the sense of duty he had always felt at that moment, nor the family love he had for aegon, no, he felt pure hatred and rage. He would not let aegon take anything from him anymore.

And that not only prevented him losing the reader, but he also got the position he was stolen from for being a second son.

This is how I viewed the situation by thinking in his perspective at least, I might be wrong haha

And seeing his wife, being tormented once again by his brother, he felt how he did as a kid, helpless, alone and useless, then the rage and protectiveness kicked in!

We can also see how overtime, Aemond spoke more openly about his resentment and so did the reader, the two bonding over it once again, like they had when they were kids

Violetta 1x01 rewrite

Alright there is not much to change about the first ep.. I will obviously leave violetta cringe bc thats what we love about it..

Violetta is at the airport that thing doesnt really change nor does the whole plane scene

How does Angie know they are arriving in the city? (i will assume she stalked someone on socials or her mother)

Ok so one thing that does change is that matias and jade already did bankrupt and they tell the audience later.. until then we do not hear any phone call about the firm going under or anything. the audience assumes that matias and jade are just rich and dumb and somehow german loves jade..

Ok we arrive at the studio now.. the opening scene stays the same and then we have the bullies of the school which would obviously be hated by the entire school bc they dont really spread fear, they are just there for laughs and to be villains (obviously they are talented but not at all respected by their classmates)

pablo is named the principal still

the talk between angie and pablo is still the same

tomas is the same rn just not working and playing the guitar

olga is weird with ramallo that stays

now to the fight and the first singing battle.. after angie comes into the room to start the lesson ludmila has a lot to say to her.. now angie gives her a reaction instead of camila.. she puts her in her place although obviously ludmila just rolls her eyes.. they dont argue and start with the lesson

german and violetta come back to the mansion, jade pushes ramallo almost on the ground to hug german which obviously german is happy to see her he does proceed to notice that she did that so he asks her to apologise to ramallo she does say some apology which is not genuine but german is in love and blinded.. everything else is the same

ughhh now to the dumb bullies that think a guitar is ludmila.. pls alright so tomas comes to the studio and likes the guitar someone is playing and suddenly the bullies appear and leon starts to be possesive of ludmila assuming tomas must automatically like ludmila even tho there are like 3 other girls.. (its just an excuse to be rude to someone) so yeah that happens and they push him, angie comes there and sees that they are arguing and leon says the same thing however tomas.. he doesnt know them and he knows angie is an authority, obviously as he is in work he doesnt want to be harrased and tells angie they started pushing him.. angie tells leon and andres to not do it again and they go away angry.. angie asks if tomas is ok, he is and asks for the customer

angie doesnt tell pablo about the boys arguing same as original bc she has other problems in mind anyway

everything is the same with violetta finding the door

back to tomas..he meets naty he leaves and ludmila and naty talk the same

olga and vilu talk in her room.. when vilu asks about the room thats locked... everything is the same but vilu has a confused look in the end and is suspicious.. she looks at the door one more time

ludmila and tomas meet.. leon comes into the room and he shouts at tomas this time when tomas says i didnt touch your guitar , leon is stilla angry but instead of assuming that tomas called ludmila a guitar he asks what do you mean guitar and tomas explains, leon obviously thinks its a lie but he doesnt push him (see how nice i am to leon i make him be better than he is omg thank me) tomas leaves

the talk between leon and ludmi and cami still applies

the teacher bitch still gets the cake on her face and quits everything is the same

leon and ludmila talk its the same

everything is the same until angie comes in the house

angie trespasses obviously and now we finally hear matias and jade talking together and it seems suspicious even without the phone call that we didnt need. now the audience can be suspicious of matias and jades intentions, the convo stays the same (this is actually the first time we see matias since he didnt meet with angie on the sidewalk)

pablo gets captured even tho he obviously was only standing near the door but acab so yeah he goes into the police car

leon and andres come to tomas work to threaten him bc leon is insecure and blames any guy for ludmilas mistakes, all of the things are the same luca throws them out and blames tomas

ludmila maxi and cami have the talk but only thing that changes is that the water doesnt destroy the computer luckily for maxi and its logical it wasnt too much water and it was only at the pad worst things worst he problably has a broken touchpad now

angie and pablo talk.. its the same

german doesnt recognise angie bc last time he saw her she was much younger and so was he

My thoughts on Alux Rising Ep 1 ✨

CW: A teeny bit of swearing along with major spoilers for the first episode of Alux Rising (ofc), moderate spoilers for the reboot of Sabre’s Assassin’s Creed series and Rainbow Quest and slight spoilers for Sabre’s original Assassin’s Creed series

-Is that a cHILD?  • It’s not a child, just a man in a very large bed.

- Wait, is he wearing a T-shirt and flannel pants? WHAT? Isn’t this supposed to be, like, in the style of medieval time? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an expert on medieval fashion nor am I holding this fantasy minecraft world to be completely accurate to real life historical fashion trends, but flannel pants huh? 

- Also, he’s wearing what looks to be a prized necklace while he’s sleeping. That’s a terrible idea. Don’t wear important jewelry while you sleep, put it somewhere safe and put it back on when you wake up.

- WANNA BET? *Proceeds kick the door so hard that the lock freaking breaks*  

 • Also, is a lock supposed to break that easily? Can you just kick a door and break the lock like that? Something doesn’t feel right there.

- Okay, but I love that this is how they chose to introduce Petro. What an entrance.

- Is that a reference to the original Assassin’s Creed roleplay?? He didn’t steal anything from Alux so it’s not a one to one callback, but still, not the first time a FMS roleplay has started with the protagonist getting bumped into by someone passing by.

- WOW, throwing a hardback book at someone’s head from another floor? Ik he insulted her, but that’s still practically attempted murder.

- Alux laughing about his potentially concussed friend with the person who would’ve been responsible if he was concussed. I see nothing wrong with this. /sar 

- Random but I love the shiny gold texture on Alux’s suit

- Also random but what’s with the blue glowing stuff on Petro’s belt? Is is magic? Will it end up being plot relevant later? What’s going on Sabre, why did you want that stuff to glow??

- Does the Dark Angel use she/her and they/them pronouns? Assuming that this recollection of the story uses their correct pronouns, I think they use she/her and they/them pronouns. They might be an evil enby queen and I’ll drink to that.   • On another note, them being a demi-girl is only one explanation for the multiple pronouns, although it is definitely an intentional choice. I can think of atleast a couple other reasons for why this would be.

- Also, assuming that she’s gonna stay a villain, the Dark Angel is one of the first non-male villains in a FMS roleplay a long time and if I remember correctly one of the first female-leaning villains since 2017. That’s pretty hype!!

- A ruler, a guardian of light. I wonder who that is. Feels like something that’ll be important later~ :] • Mmm he sacrificed himself? Interesting, still have a feeling he’s gonna be important later tho. 

- So who are the magic users specifically? Are they those under the command of the Guardian of Light, or are they a broader group? I don’t think it’s really explained.

- “Her great army was released from their grasp” *Multiple pronoun sets intensify* 

- The fact that Sabre is choosing to make another series with themes of dark/light based magic and an ancient evil sealed away eons ago when the SCU is still literally just right there is an interesting decision. I get wanting to rehash old ideas but usually people only do that after they’re FINISHED with the old story. I don’t think the SCU is dead?? As far as I know, Sabre hasn’t said anything about it and TR would be a weird end lol.

- Also, can I just say that I am so happy to see Sabre making a series that takes place in a universe of his own creation after all these years? I mean, yes, all of his stories have taken place in worlds that he created, but they were all directly inspired by settings created by other people (Assassin’s Creed, Minecraft, FnaF, The Crafting Dead, etc, etc, etc) and to see something unique to him is just- it makes me really glad, I’ve been wanting Sabre to do something like this for a really really long time. Plus, The Steve Cinematic Universe, although I like it and I’m really hoping Sabre is still gonna make another series for it in the future, was starting to go in a direction with it’s lore that isn’t exactly to my taste and we were getting so much of it that I was starting to get a bit sick of it. It’s nice to have a big project like this between the SCU projects to break things up, and it’s really refreshing to just have some good ol’ fantasy after whatever Twisted Rainbow was.

- Petro is acting like there’s more to this story than it seems and that it’s less black and white than it appears, but the version of it he just read from the book makes it seem like the Dark Angel is clearly evil and that the light folk are the heroes. I want more details. 

- “You can’t pick roses without shedding a little blood. Nothing’s perfect, but the result is beautiful.” Petro are you gonna become a villain later? Tell me the truth now because that’s some sussy dialog. 

- Alux, son, what are you doing??? What are you doing that could get you executed???.?  • Edit: I think that he was exaggerating, e.g. “My Dad’s gonna kill me”.  

- Okay but people just calling their father ‘Father’ like a name instead of ‘Dad’ or ‘Papa’ has so much power thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.  • Father, it’s me, Michael- 

- Hamatria? Is that how that’s spelled?? There are no human-written subtitles, so I can’t tell. But besides that, I’m also intrigued by this other kingdom and their potential history with this kingdom.

- What is the name of this kingdom? Has it been stated yet? I’m not sure..  • Oh good grief in the title of the video it says that it’s called the Cozen kingdom I’m an idiot. Also, interestingly enough, ‘cozen’ is actually a word and it means to trick or deceive. Was that intentional?

- I know that this is most likely just because the people who made the skins are the same, but it’s interesting how the armor on the guards looks almost exactly the same as my beloved Francis’ armor. Good grief I miss MC Trapped. :’[

- Omg, how old is Alux? Is he an adult or a minor?? Because bro, his dad is OLLD. ANCIENT. HOW OLD WAS ALUX’S MOM???

- So Cozen and Hamatria have conflicting views about magic users? What are those views? Why do they hold them? Who are the magic users specifically and why are they controversial? What was the origin of the book that Petro read? Why did Elric not want Alux to know about that story? Where is Petro from?? So many questions so little answers... 

- “How am I supposed to lead this kingdom when I don’t even know anything about it” Implying that Alux has been trapped within the walls of the castle rather than just within the kingdom.

- “To keep all of us safe”??? What does THAT mean?? I gotta ask what the exact motive behind keeping Alux here is. It could simply be a parenting strategy, but I wonder if there’s some other reason? I know how Sabre loves his chosen one prophesies.  - There’s a lot of green around in both the kingdom and the throne room which implies that green is the insignia color of the kingdom yet the king himself isn’t wearing it, only his son? Interesting.  

- Also, it only just occurred to me, but it’s really funny how green seems to be an important color in this series while it’s coming out on Saint Patrick’s Day. 

- BRITISH! THE KING’S ASSISTANT IS /BRITISH/! Asdfghjk- in all seriousness, although it might be unintentional and just a quirk of the casting, him being british implies that he’s from another region which is really interesting.  - Also, according to the credits, I think the assistant’s name is Azrael which is really foreboding because that’s the name OF THE ANGEL OF DEATH-   • He’s wearing all black too XD

- Omg, it’s Jerome! The man who refused to play Rainbow Steve even though he wanted the role because he misunderstood the production process of the series. Good to see him! X’)

- Just hit me like a freight train, but just like Azrael, Petro has a foreign accent which implies that he’s a foreigner to this land. 

- So, Alux and Petro are the same age? That’s interesting..? How long have they known each other? Why is Petro teaching Alux when they’re the same age?? Who even IS Petro, who are his parents, what does he do in this kingdom???  • Edit: I think that the reason Petro is in a role where he can teach Alux about things is because Alux has been isolated from those outside of the castle. Also, sometimes more advanced students can tutor less experienced students and I think it’s implied that Petro is a scholar.  - “Think of it this way: atleast you don’t have to see him for a week.” AGED LIKE MILK

- When I laid eyes on this art style, y’know, I didn’t like it very much, but now that I’m more immersed into the episode it’s kind of grown on me?? It’s honestly kind of cool-

- Why are all of the people in the guard, like, all of these garbage douche people? Who’s hiring these guys???

- I can see in the pages of the book that they’re using a different writing system. It’s probably an alphabet but honestly, who knows. Either way, it’s an important thing to note down.

- HEY, I JUST REALIZED. ARE THEY USING MODS AGAIN?? I think I recognize the texture for that shield!! Cool bro! I love Minecraft mods and seeing youtubers actually use them makes me really happy.

- It probably helps that the series is so cinematic, but I’m appreciating  how the world feels like it’s actually to scale. Rainbow Quest was a bit wonky in that regard, with what was meant to be massive cities looking more like moderately sized towns, so this is a lot more immersive.  

- Another dead father in a FMS roleplay??  - What do they want exactly? Is it an abstract thing like power, control or pride or rather something real like an object or a person? I’ll guess we’ll see....

- Oh Jerome guard bless your soul, I love him so much. Honestly this is making me really regret the fact that he wasn’t willing to take on Rainbow Steve’s role in Rainbow Quest, like, more so than I already regretted it.

- It isn’t an object but it COULD be a person. If it is a person, the Dark Angel and Alux are both HIGH on the list.

- Hello James, the writers have declared that you’re gonna survive, which makes sense considering your previous appearance.

- I’m honestly intrigued by James’ characterization. It’s kinda interesting how he seems to look down on Alux but is so dedicated to Elric. I wonder if that’ll be elaborated on in the future.

- They!! They didn’t let us hear what the promise was!! What was it!? This is gonna be important later on, I can just feel it in my bones.

- Every time I write a new character or place name in this document I have to tell Pages to learn the word so that it won’t underline it- curse you cool fantasy names.

- Okay, but real talk, they should’ve brought more guards as an escort. Even though they couldn’t have predicted the Dark Angel worshippers or whatever, this was still during a time of conflict, and they literally mentioned that people from Hamatria were coming over and causing issues and that there was talk of war. They were literally bringing their king to a potentially hostile nation and they only brought, like, 10 guards TOPS. Not a great decision.

- Y’know, this series is reminding me a lot of the Assassin’s Creed reboot in certain aspects (Which is definitely a good thing), but it’s making me wonder what a meeting between Alux and ACT!Sabre would look like? They have basically polar opposite backstories, what with Sabre being orphaned when he was 11 and living the rest of his childhood and the entirety of his teens on the run whereas Alux looks like he’s been completely isolated and sheltered up to this point, so how would they get along?? 👀

- CREDITS, THERE ARE CREDTIS!!! OMG, I HAD JUST BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW HARD IT HAD BEEN TO UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS BEHIND SABRE’S ROLEPLAYS WITHOUT KNOWING WHO WAS WORKING ON WHAT ASPECTS OF THEM OVER THE YEARS!! YAY! :D    • Actually, wait, were there credits in The Crafting Dead? I just checked the end of the final episode and there don’t seem to be any so I don’t think there are.

- I had been assuming that Sabre had always served as the producer and director in all of his roleplays over the years, but interestingly, this episode wasn’t directed by him, only produced by him. Has that been the case for most of his roleplays..?

- Phoenix Flare seems to be a really really key person who worked on this episode. They directed which is one of the most important roles in the production of a series and also worked on the skins, the builds, the music and the voice acting. Interesting.

- A really glaring omission here is the writers, which is really important especially when you realize that this was animated rather than acted out in game, so there isn’t really any room for improv. Maybe they just decided to group that in with either production or direction and either Sabre or Phoenix Flare wrote this, but there’s just absolutely no indication of anything regarding the writing really? The writing is always the most important aspect of a story so it concerns me that the writers aren’t being credited.

- Also, the animators. Where is the credit for the animators?? Who  animated this???? Was it just Sabre???

- Now, my thoughts: So far, it’s quite good! This episode was really solid all things considered. I do have some slight concerns with certain aspects of the episode and it does feel a bit rough at times, but this is really promising and so far it feels like an improvement over Sabre’s other recent stories, atleast in regards to the flaws that have been personally bothering me. The pacing actually feels solid which is really really major for me, granted that it’s a bit faster than what I normally enjoy and it took a bit of adjusting before I could really get into it. Now of course, I can’t really judge this story right now since we only have one episode. I had similar feelings about Steve Legends at first and that series ended up really disappointing me, but it’s been a strong start so far. I really enjoyed this episode and once again, I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about this series, even more so than before! :]

- Also, for anyone who struggled to enjoy the episode, I just wanna add that this story is very very different from anything that Sabre has worked on before and if you’re in love with that classic roleplaying style that Sabre was more well known for, I can see how you would prefer something like Rainbow Quest over this. Although I love the cinematics, I personally prefer the filmed in Minecraft style more than the animation but I get that this makes it a lot easier for the actors and allows them to do more with the visuals. At the end of the day, this is all down to subjective taste and I’ll gladly watch any of Sabre’s older serialized roleplays (aside from Twisted Rainbow /hj) with you guys any day. ❤️❤️❤️
