Sabre was worried Rainbow wouldn't like that he now had similar eyes to him - which made Rainbow a little bit freakier. But Rainbow saw this as a way to tell the world he's best friends with Sabre.

Rainbow arrives to the Spirit World, where an OG Sky Person and The Guardian give him a choice. Stay a spirit and live out eternity with his old friends, or become a Sky Person.

The Sky People mention how Galaxy's mind seems very powerful, despite the lack of memories. Everything goes down the same, except when Galaxy is absorbed by Void, he is bombarded with the Sky People. Rainbow appears in there for a moment to tell him off before returning to Sabre.

So pov the Sky People are a collection of minor deities that Sabre's cursed to hear and be watched by. He shares this "curse" with Galaxy and Rainbow, and upon Rainbow's death, he becomes another voice in Sabre's head.
