Russel fills the role of amnesiac former human, and as frustrated by his lack of memory as he is, he throws himself into guild work, partly in order to ensure he can keep a roof over his head but mainly because it's something meaningful. He spends his free time trying to study possible causes of his amnesia, how to cure it and whatever information about humans he can find... Also has the occasional existential crisis, you know how it is

Reena is a thief amateur treasure hunter that convinced Russel to form an exploration team with her, and has been using guild work to hone her skills and wrangle more treasures. She's particularly interested in discovering the origin of her relic fragment. Also if anyone asks it's a family heirloom and she did not steal it do not listen to team skull-

god bless you for talking about jules and jules and blue. it seems most of the fandom is really taken by simone/lucas and are completely sleeping on jules and blue which is surprising to me as i do think harry and adelaide have better chemistry. and you're right blue is definitely a goner for jules it's getting more and more obvious with each episode but he really pushed his luck with wanting to keep things casual and shutting her down anytime she tried to move their little arrangement into more overt romantic territory

i like simone and lucas too, they’re very cute and i thought their first kiss was great, but i agree that jules and blue have more palpable chemistry on-screen. (i’ve always found chemistry is really hard to define and likely means different things to different people, so this is with the caveat that it’s simply an opinion sjshhs).

but yes maybe it’s just because i’m a sucker for friends-with-benefits falling in love trope (which i’m absolutely convinced they’re going to) but i LOVE blue ans jules. their banter and chemistry and his huge soft spot for her and her jealousy all make me feel shshshhshshshs!!!

one thing i will say i think we have different povs on is that i don’t know that i would agree that jules is the one trying to push for romance and getting shut down? i think the dynamic is more complicated than that in general sshshshsj. like he wanted to buy her coffee, take her for a drink, but she refused. and then he acted like he didn’t care by flirting with a nurse sjshshshhs. and then she got jealous! bc they’re slightly immature dumbasses and very enamored with each other god bless <3

anyway regardless love the blue x jules appreciatiors!! in general i really like the season 19 interns, i think they’re capturing the energy of genuine camaraderie and friendship the M.A.G.I.C. had without feeling like carbon copies.

Beagle props her head up with her hand, a small smile growing on her face at being asked how she was. It wasn’t often that she’d be treated with such kindness or respect. Usually she was babied or pushed to the side. But with Morse? Never.

“Better now that you’re here,” she replies with a brief laugh. “You always know how to make my day, you know that? I don’t know how you do it. You’re like a ray of sunshine. Speaking of, how are you?”

Johnnie had insisted that he could button his own pajama shirt, even after he’d had to have help putting just the pants on. He sits there, feverish yet concentrated as a shaky hand goes to grab onto what seemed to be an impossibly small button. The other hand grips onto the fabric desperately, but he gives a huff in triumph as he manages to take the button into his fingers and guides it towards the buttonhole.

Unfortunately, he misses. Again. And again. He shakes in a mixture of frustration and chills, going just about cross-eyed in his futile attempts. Instead of continuing his fight, he slumps back into his pillows with a groan, giving Shy a pitiful look as the room seemed to spin.

“Could you help me again?” He asks gently, knowing his stubbornness got him nowhere. “Thank you for taking care of me. I appreciate the company.”

i am so normal about the end of tsr zutara hug, as can be evidenced by my icon and header.

honestly, the moment before katara hugs zuko, where she just got kind of... walks up to him and takes in his face for a moment, both of them smiling but very subtly? that's maybe my favorite part of the scene. like... so much unsaid there.

and the thing about it is that if the writers wanted to just show that katara's forgiven him, that she trusts him now, that she's good to be allies but overall pretty neutral... they would not have needed to include that hug. any hug, but that hug especially.

because: she literally throws herself at him to hug him. if i had to describe it: it is the kind of hug you give to a friend you haven't seen in a long while and are SO happy to have found again.

and zuko’s surprised little expression before melting into it? her hand staying on his chest and looking at him again as they pull apart? him turning to maintain eye contact with her as she walks away? watching her walk the length of pier? what was it about literally what was it all about.
