I'll be searching their impact on music and people, but like you said, finding information about them is not easy apparently and oh my God, I listened to theirJudgement Day yesterday and I cannot believe it's not a well-known song. (It's not well-known I think, I guess?) I couldn't even find the lyrics and I was so surprised, it sure deserves to be recognized as well

I love that you're interested in their impact on music and people - those are SO, so worthy subjects to research. :D

When I first saw this ask, I immediately recognized the title of "Judgement Day" and I knew I'd heard it before but I honestly had to listen to it again to remember, like, any of the lyrics. The music, imo, is so memorably funky as hell, though. :D The drums are also super interesting on this song, or is that just me? Peter DePoe was SO good for them, though I mean no disrespect to Butch Rillera! I would love to comment on its lyrical themes, too, because I have an idea of what it's about (aside from the religious connotations, although to be fair I also can't really comment properly on that because I have like no religious knowledge whatsoever), but I can't say for sure without knowing the lyrics better (but preferably, what they are for sure, LOL). Also, to be totally honest, I find the harmonies in the chorus, particularly in "judgement daaaaay" to be kind of grating, so it's not one of my favorite Redbone songs - I like it more for its instrumentation than anything else, although if I could actually understand all of the lyrics (or, like, get to read them, at least - sheesh!) I might like it more lyrically and thematically, as well.

What do you think "Judgement Day" is about, and why do you like it, if you don't mind me asking? :D 💙

       “Wait... is that a person? W-What... what are they doing out here all by themselves?”

   Komaru seemed to question it at first, but... being in a game where children were literally hunting you kind of destroyed that sense of danger. She began to approach, calling out to the other. 

       “H-Hello? Hey! Are you stuck here too? In this game? C-Can you answer me p-please..!”

   The desperation in her voice was strong, as she got a closer look something odd struck her. He was in a suit... much like those others before, so maybe... maybe he was here to rescue her? A glimmer of hope leaped into her chest as she did her best to get the strangers attention.

The cold gave her something that warmth could not, something that could not be taken away no matter how tightly these chains squeezed at her soul. Lost memories unable to be snatched up by venom, and darkness.

Bare steps roam through the snow as soft fingertips graze each tree in passing giving little greetings while moving forward. Fabric of white drags behind along the floor having left her to forget the choice in outfit being a dress for the time being.

She was fine with it. Fits with moving about in this kind of atmosphere in her mind.

Thought to have been alone while roaming about this frosty forest paradise it seems Serinaty had to smile at how wrong she’d been. A strange being had been settled at some sort of station up ahead. Silently she stopped by a tree near them violet hues skim the other indeed interested, and curious. 

“Excuse me?”

Honestly, skeletons sneaking up on her for cute little platonic smooches has become something of the norm for Undyne as of recently, so she didn’t think anything of it when her earfins caught the sound of bones so close.

A smile had crossed her lips for a moment, expecting toothy grin to grace her cheek at any moment... only for it to disappear immediately when, instead, the feeling came upon her neck; and, more worryingly, her gills... a sharp, pleasured whine escaping them the instant they were kissed.

He’d most certainly be able to feel the shudder the rocked through the fish body at the act first, before quickly before followed by a instinctual strike of her elbow straight into his ribs to get him to back off; if not, knock him on his tailbone.

“H... holy shit...” Undyne was a wheezing mess afterwards, face utterly flushed with cyan at the little touch. It took her a bit to even realize Serif was still there.

And even then, she just sort... wheezed and stared for a little while. Awkward.

“... c-can you... like, not surprise me like that? Please?”

☆ — Of all places she had seen in her life, this was the most beautiful.

     A small look around and a SUBTLE blink of her eyes was enough for Speckles to realize she had never seen something like this before. There was such beauty as she stepped out of the purple catacombs, trees and snow filling her vision. Her time with TORIEL was a wonderful one, but the child's curiosity would EVENTUALLY get the better of her.     

     It didn’t take long for the BEAUTY to fade, for Speckles to come to the realization that she was ALONE. The woods were dark and SCARY. She didn’t have a soft, loving goat mother to care for her any longer. Speckles pulled on the waistband of her tutu, taking her first step into snow. Cold!

     *( You equip the ballet shoes. )

     That’s better. She takes another step, with much warmer (albeit, still cold) feet and listens to the CRUNCH the ground makes under each movement. A bridge. Slowly but surely, she was making her way to a BRIDGE. The child pushes her curly locks out of her face and gently PATS her overall pocket, as if comforting the PET SNAILS that lay inside. Slowly, she leans over the edge, taking a glance into the DANGERS that lay in front of her if she took the WRONG step across the overpass.
