Sj eventually decides to cut ties with the whole community after getting into another new discourse and sells all of his accounts and fursona art to a broker, who then sells it to sy. Sy logs into the account and is about to reveal what happened, but Yue Qingyuan sends him a super long vent/crying dm and sy feels too guilty and awkward to come clean after getting that bombshell and so he ends up impersonating Shen_Qingqiu in the elite closed DeviantArt group Cang Qiong Mtn Sect group

-Binghe is in the group mostly as a punching bag for everyone to make fun of his half angel half demon oc Xin Mo, but sy recognizes him as the kid he saw sj bully despite being super humble and with great potential for art, so he decides to take him under his wing (I think I was imagining sqq as a dutch angel dragon but whatever you believe here you can replace that with an appropriate body part). Sy ends up buying binghe a super rare Sushidog named Zhen Yang and while sy is like well nbd some artist got a paycheck and some kid got a cute new adopt but as we all know Binghe is Irreparably changed Forever from this

#1 Bear:

These guys are so big and fluffy. I wanna hug one so bad. There’s this video of a bear just sitting next to a guy and it’s my favorite thing ever. I’m so jealous. I also fed a baby bear once!! Out of a baby bottle!! At Yellowstone!! It was dope. They’re also kind of scary, which is good. It makes me feel like if I could convince one to trust me, then it would keep me safe.

#2 Wolf (and dogs):

This is really a classic pick all around. They’re a good mix or edgy and cute, which are the two essential traits of a good beast to me. This is a very social and friendly beast, I feel, although they can be untrusting of humans at times. One of my most fond memories is feeding a sheep liver to wolves. Really quintessential to my development. Dogs lean more into the cuteness than the edginess but they really make it work.

#3 African Wild Cat (and domestic cats):

These gentlemen are absolutely delightful. They just look like domestic cats but longer. They’re so cute. I learned about them very recently so I don’t have much to say about them, but I have rapidly become quite fond of them. I like domestic cats too! They have a very wide spectrum of slightly spooky to violently cute and silly. I think that’s good.

#4 Ravens:

Honestly, I can’t tell the difference between ravens and crows so I just picked the one with the cooler name. I love these guys. They’re edgy cranked up to 11, at least at first glance. Very spooky, Halloween vibes. They’re also really really smart! They use tools, they remember people, and they communicate with each other. Did you know, that they’re also silly :3? Ravens have been observed rolling down snowy hills just for fun. I love that for them

#5 Rats (and mice):

This might be the single cutest entry on this list. I don’t understand how anyone is afraid of them cuz they’re just little tiny guys. They make happy noises when you tickle them! (Although these noises have to be pitched down to be audible to humans). And sometimes they grab food with their little hand while they nibble it! This is also probably the beast that humans have put in the most situations over the years. Honestly some of it makes me feel pretty bad for them. One time they made a rat with snake genes, and it just didn’t grow legs. I’m sad now. I’m going to stop talking about this.

#6 Elk:

This is a bit of a wildcard in this list, as it might be the only entry that isn’t all that cute or edgy. Instead, they have a real elegant and mysterious aura about them. They intrigue me. I would like to have a conversation with one. I also associate them a lot with when I lived in Colorado, which makes me even more fond.

#7 Pigeon:

I’m back on my cutesy shit. They guys are ADORABLE. I love the kind of absent look on their faces. I love the way the walk (and I often mimic it when I see them). I think these guys get an unfairly bad reputation. They’re so cool, and honestly, the subtle green on their necks is very pretty. They also tend to be used to humans so they might let you get pretty close to them or even touch them. I have a friend who regularly befriends and picks up pigeons. She’s very cool, and I send her pictures of birds whenever I see them.

#8 Sheep:

I used to ask my friends what animal their fursonas would be, cuz I think it’s a fun and silly question to ask people who mostly had never thought about it before. This naturally led to many of them asking me the same question, to which I didn’t have a good answer. After much deliberation, I eventually reached the conclusion that my fursona would be a sheep. Anyways, sheep are cute! Very fluffy, very social, and I love their baaaaa sounds. Good beast.

#9 Whale Sharks:

When I was young, I lived in Georgia for a few years, and I would often visit the Atlanta aquarium. In this aquarium, there is a glass tunnel surround and all sides by water and marine life. The grandeur and majesty of watching whale sharks swim peacefully overhead cannot be overstated. It was magical. It would only be years later that I learned that this was the biggest aquarium in the world, and that no other aquarium I would ever visit could quite capture that same magic.

#10 Frog:

I really expected these guys to end up higher on the list! I feel like they’re a big part of my brand, and yet they’re all the way down here. I still love these guys though. I like how slimy they look, and I like that they really small and cute, or really big and sage-like. I like that they jump far and have really long freaky tongues. I wish I had a long freaky tongue, honestly. They’re also very vocal, which is cool when you’re in their home but less cool when they’re in yours. When I was in Oklahoma City, I had to take frogs out of my apartment sometimes. Never figured out how they got in.

Honorable mentions:

* Hyena: they’re kind of dogs to me. Also they laugh funny. And I like that the males are small and submissive. Yay femdom (?)

* Fruit bat: ughhh talk about a perfect cute-edgy combo. They look so precious when they eat, by the way.

* Cow: these guys used to be my favorite! I’m shocked they fell down this low. They are very cute tho. I want to pet one

* Koi fish: these guys are very elegant and I really really like imitating the way they go “pop pop pop” with their mouths

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like my blog and I'm really flattered that you find me cute. I'm sure my husband is inclined to agree with you on that one. The Queer Metal Archive is honestly one of the things I'm most proud of, I've put a serious amount of time and effort into finding obscure solo projects and bands that are queer and deserve more exposure.

As for how I figured out I was a wolf, I've always felt a strong connection to wolves, ever since I was a child. In high school I went through a furry phase where I had a female wolf fursona (looking back, I should've known this meant I was trans, but alas), and dabbled a bit into the therian community when I was in University, but not as much as I wanted to, due to my girlfriend at the time being less than accepting of it. Once I broke up with her and started exploring my identity more and more with my husband, I really started to realize that my connection to wolves was more than just furry related, but in fact closer to therian/otherkin.

So it was a slow process of slowly exploring and allowing myself the room and time to examine why I felt so connected to wolves, on a deeper level.

Pretentious ass identity/sona/therian writing:

I could find rigid labels for myself, I could rationalise and write things out in a cold and detached manner that, borderline clinically, rigidly describes the general gist of what is in my head.

BUT! What feels truer to myself is expression through metaphor, something expressive, something that shows the... Vibe? the feeling, the essence of what I'm experiencing.

It's, in a way, less precise, but existence is not static. It's not universal, objective. Metaphors and their interpretations are all dependant on our selves, on our perception, experiences. My expression of self is true to ME, explains ME, but the 2nd party maybe has a different take. WHICH IS FINE. The point even! People "take" others in different ways, noone is the same in alien eyes.

It all started with me figuring out the whole it/its therian thing & experiencing more intimacy (platonic & sexual) & finally working on the new fursona, where I tried to finally figure out the ME.

I've been having so many separate, unconnected thoughts that were just floating around, until a close friend of mine hit me with an idea that just. glued everything together?

Hellhounds throughout mythology are servants, guardians. They are meant to be intimidating, ward off dangers, keep others safe, yet their sole purpose is to be of use, to be in servitude, to be owned through being a part of something larger. Hellhounds also are not a... canid genome, they are concept of defending & serving others with teeth & claw.

I've always liked wolves. Not in the Lone Wolf or Alpha way, but in the sense of being fiercely protective of your family, your life, your community, while being entirely different with them; safe, soft, protective, caring.

I've always liked sheep, in the sense of softness, calm, warmness, going with the flow, calm, working with direction, being a part of something larger, constant jumpy anxiety.

I've always liked hellhounds, in the sense of rebellion, blasphemy, heresy, anti-establishmentarianism, punk-ness, goth-ness, otherness.

Separately they dont. reflect me well?

but if you take the metaphor of a wolf in sheeps clothing, or a sheep in wolves clothing, the picture starts coming together, the idea of being scary outwardly / soft inwardly, the idea of coming into your own skin and finding your bite, your teeth, your sense of self, going against the grain, becoming what you want vs what others expect. The idea of being perceived as a lie, a hidden threat.

A hellhound can be anything. the process of creation of it can be anything, as long as its poignant to their mythology.

What if in a moment of fear, of confrontation, of raw expression a sheep and a wolf were to find that they are opposites yet one and the same? What if at their lowest they find commonalities between the two seperate ends of the spectrum theyve perceived their whole life. What if the things they did not think possible WERE possible, things that seemed unattainable were in sight? What if in the moment of a borderline ying-yang connection, with some help of hellfire, of seperation from the norm, from voiding of the warranty, from the stepping over something you can never go back on they became one. What if you dreamed of other and saw the other dream of you.

A wolf and a sheep, both feel parts of their nature, of their old wounds, of their upbringing, yet with the support of the other find completeness, a use for something that was previously unwanted. Through understanding, purpose, or subversion. A sheep that is free, a wolf that is domesticated, both made for a purpose, for use, for servitude, yet given freedom, because the goal is not the societal shackle, but rather simply what they want, the handing of the proverbial leash to people it can trust, love, and want, while receiving the same back. Yeah.

Lifestyle of a Floserd

(idk what else to call this section)

This'll explain things about a Floserd's life, like how they're born, what they eat, and how mating exactly works for them

Floserds are grown in the ground, like most plants. They take up nutrients in the ground, and take up water either through groundwater, or from rain (or maybe if there's a little source of water nearby. Or, of course, if it's a Water Floserd, and is surrounded by water. When there's getting close to finishing growing, a bud will appear above the ground, slowly. The bud doesn't flower when it's finished, however, as this bud is the Floserd's tail, and will grow alongside them.

When they're finished growing, a baby Floserd digs itself out of the soil, and is ready to explore the world.

Floserds mainly eat a diet of things like hay or grain, basically what real cows eat. However, they will sometimes photosynthesize, and lay in the sun to absorb energy This can slightly vary depending on the varient though (above is for Plain Floserds)

Tundra Floserds will eat grass & grain, and will occassionaly eat berries.

Water Floserds eat seaweed, and other herbivore foods in water. Sometimes (if accessable) they will reach onto land for a lil nibble of grass, as a treat (they don't need it to survive, just sometimes they like the taste)

All of the Floserd varients drink water, the water varient accessing it the easiest (of course)

(also btw, though Floserds are herbivores, they are not cannibals and will not eat one another)

Now, for the mating process (they don't mate in the way that's probably expected)

For Floserd mating, it doesn't depend on parts, nor does it exactly require having a partner to do it.

If two (or more) Floserds grow in love with each other, then one of them will lay an egg (YES they lay eggs, don't ask), which look like seeds, and then they'll pollinate it using the flower/herb of their tails.

Of course, there could just be one, who'll lay an egg, and pollinate it alone.

After this process, they wait some time for the baby to grow (they're not a species to abandon their young, so they'll stay close by as they wait for the baby to grow), and once the baby does, they'll nurture and take care of it. The only case of a Floserd not raising its young would be if the parent Floserd died before the baby finished growing (or if the herd that the parent Floserd belongs in begins to move locations before the baby grows all the way).

Floserds live basically the same lifespan of an average cow.

(also their seed variates depending on the flower/herb/weed of the parent Floserd that laid the egg)

Floserds travel & live in herds mainly, unless an individual Floserd decides to live alone, which is rare for a Floserd to do. They stay in herds for protection, and also for comfort, as they (technically) have predators (what are the predators? idk... wolves... or any carnivore/omnivore fursona? I guess mainly omnivores?)

Floserd herds (that's kinda funny to say imo) are slightly mixed up of bipedal & quadrupedal Floserds. However, they mainly stay the varient (no Plain Floserd & Water Floserd herds for example. Either Plain Floserd herds or Water Floserd herds, not a mix). However, this doesn't automatically imply they hate other varients, it's just rare to see them herd with other varients

anyways, I can't think of any more required info, cus I think this is enough for their lifestyle!
