 This week Jeb , sparky , mocha , daisy , tack & jibe our darling goats began a new chapter of their lives at Mt Hope Farm in Bristol with Arnold & his family . Arnold & his wife came to see the goats on Sunday . I went to visit their farm yesterday . We traded farm animal stories . When they were here Jeb was posing & flirting with them the way he did with so many guests who visited The Goat Cottage . Arnold & his family love and care for many goats , 2 mini donkeys , chickens & a horse . The farm hosts weddings with pictures of the animals . Their wedding pictures have been featured in magazines . There has never been a big goat like Jeb at the farm . He will probably be the new rock star goat. He will love all the attention . 
I didn’t know all the goats were all leaving today . I thought Jeb & sparky would stay thru the summer but I knew in if Jeb’s clan left he would cry. I couldn’t bear him crying like he did when Abe passed away .Endings are new beginnings is the way life is . Who knows what’s next ? 
The goats were such a gift to me in so many , many amazing ways . My painting of Jeb in a museum gave me the confidence to believe in myself as a painter & it’s his face on the cover of the children’s painted A to Z animals book. 
I was told once that in another life with me Jeb was a dolphin . They didn’t say who or what I was but every , every morning Jeb climbed up on the barn fence and looked right into my eyes . He truly goatized me . Maybe I will write and paint the story of Jeb. JEB, a very special Boer Goat .
