i did break and have a minor fuck-up moment where they asked if we had merch we wanted them to sign but the only thing i own that i brought down with me from my apartment that isn't a shirt from the ocean is my shirt from arctangent which at least has their logo on the back jfkgjk so even though i adore that shirt and wear it all the time (thank fuck i'd washed it recently) i gave it up to the sharpie gods so i could get smth autographed, where it will forever live in the back of my closet. the fuck-up being that i said the "sorry this is kind of silly" thing even as i was actively telling myself not to and paul was like "what do you mean silly it's fine! why's it silly, give me a thousand word essay on why it's silly" like paul i can give you a ten thousand word essay if you let me start 😭 he laughed when i told him that and then we talked about the festival for a bit while the other guys were signing it but i thought i was going to die of mortification, i had been doing so well before theeeennnnn. thankfully(?) my sister had a similar moment later and my brother was chill as a cucumber as usual so it evened itself out. and i made a friend with the other person that came to do the pre-show thing, which was also cool!

been thinking........about the idea that dess went missing in an awful snowstorm. because i mean, it makes sense? that one npc from sans's store tells us that noelle goes into a little dissociative state when she opens the freezer... bad memories associated with the cold, huh :(

but the thing that's bothering me endlessly is, like. if That's what happened to dess, we've got an awful little parallel to make !! noelle's ice magic in the dark world, snowgrave, berdly - see where this is going?

snowgrave isn't anything like iceshock. it's a massive snowstorm. we see what happens to berdly after the spell is cast. noelle can probably guess, but she didn't look at her own aftermath (thank god.) and besides, while the sprite doesn't appear as such to us, examining the ice yields the flavor text "it's hard to see into the ice."

to everyone else in cyber world, it's just like... berdly kinda vanished. and if that flavor text about a person being able to fit inside the closet in the computer lab is intended as a hint that berdly gets put in there, thus seemingly vanishing in the light world too. theeeennnnn

if the reader gets cut off in a relationship with Mitsuri and Obanai, how would they move on? will they found someone better than them?

That’s a pretty good question tbh it rlly depends on the readers personality and also how close their relationship was! But I feel like it would definitely take a toll on anyone since getting cut off by not one but 2 ppl would be hard on anyone! And if ur suddenly getting cut off in the relationship with no explanation at all theeeennnnn it would definitely be hard for anyone to be cut off by 2 of ur only lovers so suddenly lol

Moving on to someone else complete depends on your relationship w other characters! But if ur relationship/friendship is the same with every other character then I def think that these characters might be ppl who will be the easiest to move on to!!!!:

-Rengoku Kyojuro, -Shinobu Kocho, kinda -Gyomei, -Tanjiro Kamado, Maybe Sanemi depending on how close you are, -Kanae Kocho (before death), and Akaza if we’re ok w demons lol

“Here we are! A fine meal, if I do say so myself!” Meglapus set two plates filled with eggs, sausage, bacon, and toast in front of Marlowe and Grim. A stack of pancakes was set between them a moment later.

The mouthwatering smell of the crispy bacon and sausage filled the lounge, where Meglapus insisted they eat. Everything looked like it belonged in a five star restaurant, from the fluffy eggs to huge pancakes.

Meglapus set down Minestrone’s dog bowl filled with his own specially made breakfast. “It’s only fitting I make something for all my new housemates.” the merman patted the dogs head as he dug in.

Just as they were about to dig in, an ‘ahem’ made them pause. Looking up with a scowl, Marlowe glared at the six house intruders.

“What do you want?”

Azul chuckled, “I was just checking to make sure my cousin wasn’t being a nuisance-” “ZUZU-CHAN!”

Meglapus all but plowed his body into Azul’s, arms wrapping around him in a bone crushing hug. “Oh, how I’ve missed you!”

“M-Meglapus, please p-put me-!” “we have so much to catch up on! You’ve been so cold to me, almost never answering my letters or texts! How could you be so cruel to your beloved cousin?!” he sobbed into Azul’s shoulder while simultaneously stroking his head, “oh, my poor little cousin, you’ve endured so much. And having to go through an overblot on top of all this-” Azul shoved him away.

“How do you know about that?” he hissed, “the headmaster-” “your friends told me.” Meglapus interrupted. Taking out a handkerchief, he wiped his eyes before continuing.

“You’re lucky they told me and not auntie.” straightening, Meglapus looked down at the smaller merman. Putting his hands behind his back, he grinned down at his cousin.

“The seven know the uproar that would happen if it got out that three overblots had occurred at a pristine school such as Night Raven. Especially in such a short period of time. It’s easy to use such information as blackmail, my dear Azul. You’re not the only Ashengrotto who was a dorm leader you know~”

Azul glared up at his cousin, but any rebukes he had in mind were put on hold as he was lifted into the air. “Now now, let’s not get hasty! I’ve made a wonderful breakfast for my new housemates and you, you better dig in before it’s gone!”

Azul was plopped down one seat over from Marlowe, Meglapus between them.

“Did you know they were coming before hand?” Marlowe whispered, slipping a bite of pancake to the pets wolfing down their own breakfast. “Is that why you made so much?” Meglapus shot them a wink and smile, sticking out his tongue for a brief moment, before returning to trying to feed Azul more food.

“You’re so skinny! You need more meat on your bones, think of what auntie and Mama would say!” Azul did his best to avoid the fork that kept trying to feed him, some times having his words interrupted by it suddenly being shoved into his mouth.

After all the food was eaten, bellies filled to the brim, they students, pets, and teacher decided to chat and enjoy each other’s company for the remainder of the morning.

Since there was few seating, Marlowe ended up in their new teacher’s lap. Azul fumed at the sight while the twins snickered at ramshackle perfect’s very red face.

“It’s quite alright, dear angelfish, there’s no need to sit so stiffly~” Meglapus purred, propping his arm up on the arm of the chair. Resting his head on his knuckles, he wrapped his other arm around their waist.

“You can lean on me, don’t be shy. We’ve got plenty of time to get know each, so let’s not waste a single moment m, hm?~”

Health: I DIDN’T EVEN COUGH ONCE TODAY! 8Dc (..not even while singing with great gusto along to “You’ll Be Back” on the drive home from work >_>) Definitely feeling like myself again. I enjoy having energy and an appetite and to not be actively hacking up gunk from my lungs. Super cool.

Near future: WE’RE MOVING ACROSS TOWN! 8Dc Me, the cat and the roomie are moving into a bigger, nicer place next week, just in time for me to have enough strength to lift boxes n’ such (but not enough for me to be terribly helpful in that capacity, I expect). Things will be a bit chaotic until we’ve settled in, but I’ll be back to posting more regularly by the end of the month. Ideally. Hopefully.

Slightly-distant-future: I’M GOING TO GENCON! 8Dc Funny how I waited until I moved about 2000 miles away before ever attending, but there’s a group of us heading back to the Midwest this summer for gaming shenanigans! I’ll post more about that adventure as it approaches~
