A Meditation on Health Here we see Le Fou (The Fool) and Le Bateleur (The Conjuror). The Fool strides off into the distance, not really knowing where he's heading and with no plan. Judging by the creature preparing to pounce on him from behind, he is somewhat at risk. Looking on, The Conjuror knows what he has to do. He has his tools laid out in front of him and thanks to him searching for information, he knows how to use them. Many of us have not been thinking much about our health recently. We've been sitting around, not going out for exercise, and this is not good for our physical or mental health. Now is the time to make a plan. Do a little research. Find out what appropriate health measures we can practically take. For many of us, a single-pronged approach won't work, because we easily get bored and give up.  The Conjuror

My mer-version of The Magician tarot card. Hands spread out pointing towards the heavens and the earth, the cousin of the Starbucks siren (whom I just now realized might or might not be Melusine.. Still one of the coolest logos ever... seriously nautical imagery is THE SHIT!) holds an incandescent coral branch representing his primal energy/passion (fiiiiirrrreeee element), a conch shell (or at least I imagine it’s a conch... It’ll look like a conch in the end) for his emotions/feelings (water element), a trident for the powers of thoughts and intellect (air element... siiiigh Oh Nancy from the Craft... air and invention) and a brisingid sea star which represents his physical level of consciousness aka HEALTH, WEALTH & OUTER SELF (thank you to Nayila Wright for that little quote... Yeah and if you don’t know who Nayila Wright is well there’s not much I can do to make your life better... lol just kidding she’s one of my besties and she comes up with awesome lines that shamelessly steal ;b). The conjuror is a magical multitasker, he even has two tails to walk on land, a little water helmet to help against dehydration and he still finds time to hang with his little pet fish just floating around in there. 

Ma version sirènisée (ouais ouais je vais utiliser le mot sirènisation il est minuit et mon cerveau commence a moisir) du Magicien dans le jeu de tarot. En pointant vers les cieux et la terre, le cousin de la sirène de Starbucks (qui je viens tout juste de découvrir n’est peut-être pas Mélusine... on s’en bats la rate ca reste quand meme un des logos les plus cool sur la planète... VIVA LES SIRENES!) tient dans ses mains une branche de corail en feu, qui représente son énergie/passion, une conque (pour les expert en biologie marine, imaginez juste que c’est une conque lol) pour ses émotions/sentiments, un trident pour le pouvoir de ses pensées et une étoile de mer brisingidée (ou en tout cas je crois que c’est ça la traduction française) qui représente la materialité/les bien tangibles et physiques, santé, argent, en gros les voeux de base du nouvel an. Le Conjureur (imaginez que ca aussi c’est un mot qui existe) est un être multitâche et a même une double queue de poisson pour marcher sur la terre, un casque d’eau pour ne pas souffrir de déshydratation et ne va nul part sans son petit pote le poisson.

Turning dreams into achievable goals Le Fou (The Fool) shows us a young man with a dream. He strides off in order to achieve his dream. The problem is, he's unprepared and ill-equipped. He even seems to have suffered a "wardrobe malfunction", which a pouncing cat appears to be planning to take advantage of! Le Bateleur (The Conjuror) depicts a young man with an array of items spread out in front of him on a table. He appears to be fully aware which of these items he needs to use. He also has a book open. Most of us have dreams. Often, they can seem like distant, unattainable things. If we really want those dreams to come to fruition, we need to turn them into goals. To do that, we need to spend some time identifying the separate tasks we need to complete on the road to those goals. Once we’ve identified those tasks, we can set targets, and the whole thing is going to be a lot easier to achieve. “How do you eat an elephant?
