Winter: (Stumbles into kitchen)
Qrow: (Cooking breakfast) Mornin'. Coffee'll be ready in a minute. How do you like your eggs?
Winter: ...I like them.
Qrow: (Slides over orange juice) Squeezed 'em myself.
Winter: ...Please don't tell me we slept together.
Qrow: Well... We did.
Winter: (Slides OJ away) I... I don't remember anything from last night. Were you there when Specialist Amin threw up onto Jaune Arc?
Qrow: Nah, I wasn't at the morning meeting. We met up later than that.
Winter: (Looks at bandage on his head) You were in a fight?
Qrow: Well, if that's what Jimmy wants to call it.
Winter: General Ironwood?! Oh no... What day is today?
Qrow: Sunday. August twenty-fifth.
Winter: August... Didn't you say you were getting married on the twenty-fifth?
Qrow: Ayup.
Winter: Then why aren't you making breakfast for your wife?
Qrow: I am.
Winter: ...I need a drink.
Qrow: Well, your juice is still there, but the coffee should be ready by now-
Winter: I said a drink. (Walks to cupboard, Grabs Six Swans vodka)

hello everyone! ☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
welcome to my story blog "Room With A View" !
Not only is this is my very first time writing a Buster Keaton fan-ficton, its also my first time posting one on tumblr! The Buster Keaton fandom on tumblr has been nothing but a wonderful experience so far and I love you guys for being so welcoming and fun! Writing a fan-ficton for him has been on my mind for a long time. I have just recently become overwhelmed with an idea that I had to write it all down before it was gone and I think someone out there will enjoy it too!
NOTE: Everything in this story, from the characters to its plot is made up! In no way is this supposed to be disrespectful or degrading to Buster Keaton, his wife, his career, or any other references from "real life". Though I don't expect it, please do not take this seriously! This is for fun.
With that said, I hope you enjoy! :⋆*・゚
stay tuned <3

For old time's sake--Cecil B. DeMille takes time away from his own production of "The Ten Commandments" to make a brief on-camera guest appearance as himself as himself in Paramount's currently shooting "The Buster Keaton Story." The scene finds him directing a picture when Keaton, portrayed by Donald O'Connor, inadvertently walks into the shot. Photo shows O'Connor, made up as Keaton, producer-director DeMille and Keaton himself. Although Hollywood's "Mister Master" has produced and directed score pictures over a more than four-decade period, this is believed only the fourth time since sound that he has gone out in front of the cameras for a role--and the second time he has done the favor for old friend Buster Keaton. The Keaton biofilm is co-produced and written for the screen by Robert Smith and Sidney Sheldon, with the latter also the director.
August 29, 1956
