So I'm in the unfamiliar position of having multiple WIP ideas right now (usually I'm lucky to have even one), and I'm at a standstill on what to be working on. And because I love to yap even if only to myself, I'm gonna post them here to make myself feel accountable in some way lol. My current ideas/WIPs (under the cut) are:

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia fic -Multi-chapter fic set after the game ends, revolves around Shanoa and Albus, the latter of whom is found under mysterious circumstances that end up setting other events into motion + is tied to the increasing numbers of monsters and other unnatural phenomenon.

-The most "serious" of my fic ideas, and the one I have the most notes for. This one also is one of the few ideas I've had where I have a clear "antagonist" in mind, and I think a twist about them is actually pretty cool if I could execute it well. Big "IF" there lol, but yeah.

-Themed around the ideas of trust and family primarily, trust being the "big" one in my mind, with both Shanoa and Albus wanting what's best for the other, but how to achieve that might not be what the other would want.

-Actually have some progress on this one, though scene transitions are my mortal enemy and the cause of a current standstill :x But I reaaaaaaly want to get to the next part for a scene that has been in my nightly SFW btw!!!! before-bed fantasies for, like, months now haha have i mentioned again recently that i'm unwell about albus, because i am, oh god am i ever

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow fic -One-shot fic set after the game ends; more of a melancholic tone but with a warm ending than anything too serious. Would focus on Arikado, who is —bear with me here, I know this sounds dumb in a vacuum without context lmao— roped into attending a fancy dance/ball while kinda chaperoning Soma and Mina... but Soma accidentally let the event slip to others, so pretty much the entire AoS/DoS crew attends, too.

-Arikado ends up reflecting on his past and Yoko forces him to try to live in the moment, even if someone like him lives a much less fleeting existence than her or the others. and Hammer doesn't like that haha

-I have some notes on this one, too. Not super in-depth, but this isn't exactly plot-heavy, so I could probably knock this one-shot out fairly quick (by my standards) if I sat my fidgety ass down and focused. But on the other hand, because this one doesn't involve my FAVE fave characters, that might make it harder to motivate me, even if I like the concept. Alucard, Soma, Yoko, etc are cool, but they're not Albus-level to me by any means, or Jonathan-level either haha

Ace Attorney fic -Multi-chapter fic (but almost certainly shorter than the Order of Ecclesia one), intended to be tonally consistent with the writing of the series. So sometimes serious, but also a bit silly. Would start off "normal," thinking it starts in media res sorta mid-trial. Maybe after a recess? But it shifts into a zombie story and all hell breaks loose, but like... in a funny way? Mostly? This is still very much an idea in its infancy and was mostly born out of a few bits of dialogue I thought of that I got attached to lol, so still working out details.

-...if you're wondering "Haley, did this all start just because you thought of something with Blackquill and now you're trying to haphazardly form a plot around it" the answer is... I plead the fifth 😎

-Main viewpoint character would probably be Phoenix, though. I think he'd make the most sense and also be the easiest to write with his inner thoughts. And the most fun to write. I dunno. Like I said, this whole idea needs to stew a little more, though I have a tiny bit of notes jotted down.

-I think the biggest issue with this one is that I'm not sure what the "end goal" is. Does it all culminate in figuring out why a zombie outbreak happened at all? Maybe tying it into whatever case the fic starts with in media res? Who knows!!! One of my greatest weaknesses as a writer is that I only think of scattered scenes that are loosely connected but with no beginning or end for a cohesive work in mind. And that happens with literally everything I write lmaoooo but it's worked out fine so far, so I'm sure I could figure it out here. ...I hope.

Resident Evil fic -one-shot fic (I still want to write a long Resi one someday😭), something for a Resident Evil rarepair event for New Year's. Some of those prompts are veeeeery appealing and cute fluff nonsense is kind of my comfort zone tbh. Really want to do another Burnfield fic and some kind of friendly snowball fight is the first thing that come to mind? Sherry being there too might be kinda cute? But this is the idea that is the absolute fuzziest so I DUNNO

SOOOOO anyway I hope I get a sudden surge of motivation to work on one of these! Guess we'll see!!

#No car no money no school mfs when they dont have work #actualy i have money but i hate spending it #I have been productive so far i cleaned a lot in my room #and got this old futon that i dont use out and put it on the porch #but then my mom got mad bc its on the porch #and shes also mad bc wecant find the duct tape to put it in this big plastic bag so the trash guy will take it #and its my fault we cant find the duct tape bc i used it last and have No fucking idea where i put it #But its okay #My room looks nicer #i want to remove this metal frame on the bottom bunk of my bunk bed #that was where the futon was #so i can put my desk there.. my room would be sm less cramped #but i need an allen wrench to unscrew the thingy #and i have ONE i found under th ebed when iwas cleaning but its slightly too big #OH i need to do my duolingo #i want to draw really bad too ive been itching to draw for like. weeks #but i cant get myself to do it im like scared #i kind of wanna play oblivion too #Or bee swarm simulator. technically alan wake 2 final draft (spoilers ahead) is a Happy ending for the characters, but the spiral writers room video calling his enlightened self a possible demiurge or demon unsettled me far more than the original ending. that version, by his nature, already existing and overlapping with past loops, influencing and manipulating things without known reasons (to us and the Alan we play). it really makes that Alan out to be something else entirely through ascension and that this is inevitable. this could partially be because I kept seeing people say that the final draft was the happy end with a happy resolution for everyone, but I can’t stop thinking about what this means for Alan—and Alice!—going forward. That, along with the direct parallels to Yötön Yö playing out. It’s SO much to unpack

#final draft spoilers #alan wake 2 spoilers #alan wake 2 #I’m repeating myself in my aw2 posts about the ending but I reeeeaally love the first ending #and I’ve come around to liking the final draft but trying to wrap my head around it #and would love to know if anyone has specific thoughts on the yötön yö callbacks or master of worlds/demon thing #I’ve seen some interpretations that alice literally is the bullet of light coexisting with alan. or that maybe he’ll become an antagonist #but idk if I agree with those. but there’s a lot that the final draft opens up #and it is a Little funny to me that it’s considered the more positive or conclusive ends #apart from Logan answering the call—everything else leaves far more to question #the first end is very ‘Alan is stuck in a spiral and needs to ascend w the help of saga and Alice’#but the final draft. all the worlds are Alan’s oyster. who is he and what will he do. i have no idea #and all the ascension and becoming something else while playing the roles of yötön yö still make the entire thing feel slightly off #in a way that’s good btw. i like that the final draft is less clear and not a generic happy end than I assumed from all the buzz around it #like maybe aw3 or control 2 will roll around and he’ll just be like Mr Door and he’s just more aware of his powers #but for now I enjoy the questionable aspects of this happy end for alan and alice #😃 <- me after discussing the endings of aw2 extensively over multiple posts #also feel like i should say that I don’t think alan will be. evil or anything #it’s just the aw2 of identity and change that fascinates me with what ascension means for alan :’)

The store stayed quiet, allowing the boys (well, Ian. Mickey mostly delegated or scoffed) to get everything straightened out so when Linda returned she still glared at them, but dismissed them for the night.

They step outside, Ian shrugging on his jacket against a sudden strong wind, fumbling and turning his back to zip it up.

Mickey moves in front of him, grasping both sides of Ian’s jacket, deftly hooking the slider and pulling it up, ending by straightening out his askew collar, fingers gently brushing Ian’s reddening cheek in the process.

“Tsk. Can’t take you anywhere, can I, Gallagher?”

(ignore shocked shane this aint about him) made my OC dave as my first muse so i am kinda playing hard mode with the type b body situation but im like. determined now. im gonna make the flashiest and cutest and over the top outfits i can muster with the scraps theyve given the the type b (jk jk its not TOO bad its the best we've gotten so far but I do wish i could wear shorter shorts and crop tops and some of those type a socks are so cute i saw some that were like bandage thigh highs. dave should be allowed to wear thigh highs. dave should be allowed to wear thigh highs)

still having a lot of fun tho! sometime i should get around to making a type a muse but most people i meet are type a so i never run out of people to dress either way LOL

like most people i have things i hope they add in the future (like i said before, the lack of zoom is DIRE) and right now some of the currencies and levelling systems feel a little unbalanced (i have so many of the star things and bingo things and a decent amount of gacha things but the photo prop coins are my most coveted thing rn i have like 1 single one JKDLSJFDS) but im enjoying myself a lot like i knew i would

allistic people get frustrated with autistic people for being too literal but i get just as frustrated with them for being so opposed to me being literal

i know someone who i will try to end our conversation, fully turn my back and start walking away, and they keep talking at me

i tried playing by your rules and using body language to indicate that i'm leaving and don't want you to talk to me anymore right now. the only other ideas i have are:

1. ignore that i can hear them and keep walking (i believe this is rude, they would likely find this rude)

2. say clearly "i'm leaving i'm done talking" (confrontational, likely for them to read into my tone for some hidden meaning about why i would do something so rude, could even start an argument)

3. stop, turn around, and let them keep talking at me until they're ready to set me free (hell on earth)

#this is about 1 specific person who hi is particularly high strung and takes things very personally #but this is not the only person i have this kind of issue with #when i was a kid sometimes people would ask me why i don't speak much #well it's because sometimes i say something and you people get very very upset and i have trouble guessing what causes that reaction #most people you can confront about this kind of thing and work something out. i am aware of that #this individual would not be interested in something like that trust me #actually autistic #once i learn the basics of assertiveness the world will be my oyster

okay so there's a like. Things™ that runs in my family. And it's like. A weird thing where we are ALWAYS ahead of the curve when it comes to trends. like. WAYYYYYY to ahead of the curve to the point where everyone makes fun of us for Liking Something out of nowhere and then in a year or two BOOM that Thing™ is now THE it thing. For my egg donor it was often fashion trends, for me it's more like. Hobbies. Shit I was bullied for growing up is now Pop Culture. It's very weird.

Anyways. I'm hoping that my love for overalls is that Thing™ rears its head again. Fingers crossed that overalls make a comeback soon bc shopping for good overalls in my size that are also affordable is driving me NUTS and I need a trend to make it accessible for me.

has anyone ever made an all girl vsynth ver of those yaoi love triangle visual kei esque sci project songs. do i need to take matters into my own hands
