Got curious and looked into why the colors were so off in the book and from what I can tell... they just color picked from the art. Which is SO funny, because all of the art absolutely has lighting changes and dramatic moods etc. Ivypool is literally bathed in a sunset/sunrise and Bluestar is like, in a bright moonlight... and they just COLOR PICKED...

Ridiculous. RIDICULOUS HOW'D THEY FUCK UP THAT BAD HAHA

THIS IS THE BAFFLING PART TO ME because they 100% hired someone who A. has no damn idea what a warriors cats is and B. doesn't know how to colour pick??

Like I dont even know WHERE they're getting these colours. Clear sky is 99% just gray and somehow they threaded the needle and nailed the gleaming shine on his forehead aka the SUN.

I think the funniest part of this is where they just. Mix the cats up. They did not hire someone familiar with the series cuz they just read the names left to right. When runningnose has his Running Nose In the Art

Also this ones the funniest and sums up the whole thing because not only did they switch Dappled Pelt and Cloud Spots (hilarious because their names describe What they Look like), but incorrectly picked both of their wrong colours. How do you look at that man and think hm yeah slate blue

I'm left utterly flabbergasted because like. Im so genuinely confused about how it got approved like this. The average 11yo who read only the first series would probably do a better job

It didn’t hit me until recently that people genuinely think Kamala Harris was a police officer because of all the people who call her a cop online.

Like I think maybe it’s important people should know she was a prosecutor. She was once a district attorney and later an attorney general for the state of California. And we can discuss how related that is to police work and how tied she is to the carceral system etc etc (but for fairness would have to include her record of pushing for lowering incarceration rates through programs helping former prisoners + her office refusing to jail folks for low level weed offense). But she was never a police officer. Like people should get that clear. Kamala Harris was never a police officer. She was a district attorney. She was never a police officer.

I think the concept of fictional characters breaking the fourth wall to find out about their own ships is always funny, but I need you to imagine lawlight learning about lawlight for a second. Light's face goes completely blank save for a violent eye twitch while he internally cycles through all five stages of grief and at least 10 emotions not yet recognised by the field of psychology within a matter of seconds, after which he plasters on a very strained polite smile and asks what "law" stands for in the most fake saccharine voice you've ever heard. L tries to murder Light with his bare hands. Light decks L in the face while getting choked out and weasels away, politely excusing himself for a minute, then L drops dead immediately after. Hiiii! So I saw you mention SunnyBlue in that post you made about Blue and the twins and I wasn't sure if you were actually into that ship but if you are I would like to offer you my favorite fic of those two. It's Saturated Sunlight by @inkfamy It's honestly the greatest characterization of the two, and on top of it being a romantic fic of the two, it dives into Blue's ptsd and how he earned the title of the best sniper in the Autobots as well as the issues Sunny and Sides have and it's just so fascinating. Idk, it seemed like something you would enjoy based off of the other fics you like.

The characterisation of Blue?? And the twins?? Muah~ Absolutely wonderful. The emphasis on Blue being a really fucking good sniper is so interesting. Like I've never seen sniper programming being used in that way.

i don’t have very deliberate headcanons for a lot of freaks, but spyper is an exception because he used to be one of my very favorites :) he still honestly kind of is

i didn’t know how to include it, but another headcanon about spyper i have is that he has traits and habits that are “leftover” from the spy and sniper he used to be. his right pointer finger is twitchy and fidgety (a trait from sniper), and he chews on wheat as a substitute for cigarettes (sniper wasn’t a smoker, but spy evidently was and spyper gets nagging feelings of needing a smoke still).

the RED medic that sewed spyper together honestly did a shoddy job, since spyper still feels and thinks his body is rejecting his head. he often feels disembodied/disconnected in his own body. yknow… being two separate people grafted together and forming a third, new subconscious and everything. wicked stuff

and i don’t have a lot on RED spyper for now, but i do know that i think he’s a LOT more ‘stable’ of a hybrid than (BLU) spyper is. i wonder what his deal is

The Wild Life Spreadsheet

Alright so if you don't know me: Hello, hi my name is Saf and I made a huge Google Sheet for Secret Life last year! (BTW I finally finished the gifted hearts page so if you were following it but never got to see the finished product because I Didn't Finish It feel free to check it out now!) It was a lot of fun and I know a lot of people found it helpful to have all the stats in easy-to-read tables and graphs so after the absolute trainwreck of this past session I decided to go ahead and make one for Wild Life! It's going to be a little bit different from the last spreadsheet so consider this the user manual.

Lives at End of Session

This sheet will show you how many lives each player has at the end of each session! I've also included a slicer, which allows you to filter the table and graph by specific players if you want to see one player's progression or compare a few to each other!

Death Count

This sheet shows the number of deaths per player and per session. The deaths per player graph can be filtered just like the lives remaining graph!

Causes of Death

This sheet breaks down what caused each player's death, what session they died in, how many lives they had left after their death, and which deaths were directly caused by a Wild Card! (And my GOD these snails)

Kill Count

The same as the Death Count sheet just will kills per player!

Let me know if there's other stats that would be interesting to track or if there are any issues with the sheet!
