I want to talk about the fact that people are saying that Leah is the only Annabeth. No, she is not. Book!Annabeth and Musical!Annabeth exist. It's racist to imply that Annabeth is only African American. No she is not she also has blonde hair and grey eyes. In Haz's words "Racist can be towards anyone". pls be respectful to everyone's opinion regardless or whether you like it or not.

something about black annabeth (and black jason kinda) that warms my heart is the thought of her meeting hazel 😔🙏 like please hazel grew up in the segregated south and she NEEDS to commiserate with another black person and learn what the fuck has happened in the past 70 years and annabeth needs to bond with the little sister that her boyfriend adopted after he crashed out for 6 months

We actually have to thank Leah for reminding Rick that Annabeth is a sweet girl at heart who can be very fun and silly and only started the series off pushing those feelings away because everyone in her life expected her to be something else and she wanted to live up to their expectations because she’s an autistic teenage girl with a boatload of trauma and then she met Percy and realized that she didn’t have to prove her value by being strong and tough and a soldier and that people could just love her as she is so she embraced everything she spent years suppressing. Leah Sava Jeffries bringing Annabeth back from ooc hell singlehandely and we will ALWAYS love you for it! The only Annabeth Chase to ever exist.

Percy’s hesitation while being cornered by annabeth and Grover, Percy’s voice cracking as he talks about how alone he feels, annabeth’s innocent confusion in the store, annabeth looking completely shattered when Percy said he didn’t think they’d ever be friends, grover’s accurate portrayal of awkwardness at being forced to resolve conflict, his anger and frustration when Percy and annabeth’s bickering was constantly derailing the quest.

Walker, Leah and Aryan are doing such a fantastic job of portraying the tiny flickering emotions and making them seem completely natural. the actors you are. I hope they’re proud of themselves

I know there is a lot talking about the skin colours of the pjo actors, but what bothers me are the inaccurate eye colours.

Annabeth is black? Fine, but where are her GREY EYES?! Or Percy's sea green eyes. Thalia probably won't have lightning blue eyes either.

And I know, eye lenses have many disadvantages etc. but I loved the, often unnatural, eye colours of the demigods. Because they are not completely human.
