HIS NAME IS MOTIVATION
Every piece of sensible knowledge he had about right and wrong was obscure, covertly coveted by ambition.Â
Every thought that consumed him was a contradiction to itself. Overanalyzed and yet, at the same time consisted of nothing but baseless substance.Â
He would akin himself to that of the universe if he could. Quiet and unsettling, but bursting with life⊠If only he could navigate his way there.
He knew feeling this way would hurt himself, but strangely he couldnât stop thinking about how much he was hurting someone else.Â
Most of the time, that âsomeoneâ was not even under the impression that a few stray bullets passed their way whenever he would turn his expectations away from them.
No one should have to convince him to make the hard decisions. Or to have the expectations that he does. But here he is yet again taking his muses' inspiration and using it as fuel for his delusions.Â
And other times, he could see ever so clearly how shattered and full of holes his own mirror was in front of him.Â
But hey, thatâs the job.
See, his job is to grab himself by the scruff of his neck and pull himself close enough to that shattered mirror he calls perception. Taking incentive to find the clarity amongst the cracks. To take the clearest pieces and find value to them.Â
Aware that even shards of glass have doubled edges.
In a different and mystical world, If he could, heâd become like the ocean; powerful enough to shape his pain into something colorful and inspiring.
Turning those shards of glass into something beautiful and purposeful.Â
Then heâd rationalize himself no more than a sprinkle of a raindrop.Â
Yes, he knows that heâs not being realistic. And yes he knows he's being contradicting. However, even he knows that somewhere deep down around the guilt and shame, is a wholesome and straightforward man.
He chooses to live as he is with stubborn determination. Shattered but still trying to find the value in being broken.
Letting the shards cast judgement against his soul, while he shines with unexpected brilliance.

there's an interesting statement being made about identity if you accept all of the wolf 359 characters are equally themselves as of the finale: eiffel is form without memory; hera is memory without form; lovelace is both, but without continuity of experience; minkowski is both with continuity - and she's still not the same person that goddard recruited. if we're never the same people we were, but we're always ourselves, then the only way the self can be defined is through its own assertion - and maybe it can be argued that "my name is-" (and later, being able to say "my name is hera" reintroducing herself to pryce) and "i am captain isabel lovelace. no matter how hard you try, you are not taking that away from me" and "without me, who are you?" / "renée minkowski, and that is more than enough to kick your ass" are all the set up for (and part of the answer to) "am i still doug eiffel?"
#wolf 359#w359#it's about accountability but also about inevitable change and the willingness to learn from the past#and change for the better#holding those maybe contradictory ideas in your head#that we can't escape who we are. the limitations of the self or the people we've been in the past. but also#that there's no permanent state of self we're bound to#that the self is a constant negotiation of presentation and communication with others and can't exist in a vacuum#but also that it is about inherent worth and self-defined and self-named#i think that line is so interesting. 'we can't just change who we are but we get better.'#because depending on how you interpret it it either supports or contradicts this philosophy#and i think the difference in how hera interpreted it vs how maxwell might've meant it is part of how they misunderstood each other#and why it's an idea that stuck with hera and that she returns to. and feels like it was a lie. after maxwell betrays her#but that's another discussion maybe.#and also of course. the significance of names in wolf 359. but that's a whole thing on its own too.

It's a really brief moment, especially in the context of SS Arc Satellite which is a long event story, but I really adored how much of Hiiro's character development we got to see in his conversation with Tatsumi.
Satellite does a great job of showing how emotionally intelligent Hiiro is. He's the first to pick up on Tatsumi's weird behavior, he is the first to offer support or a listening ear, and while he's talking to Tatsumi, he acknowledges how far he's come in the time since the Main Story.
Motorshow was only eight chapters long and Feather-Touch didn't focus on Hiiro very much so this is the first time that we as viewers get to see the impact that the Main Story had on Hiiro. It's clear that he's been able to reflect on everything that people have offered him and that he's made conclusion in the time since
He's proud of who he is now. He can accept the love and affection of others, finally believes that he can be worthy of love too. It's such a sweet moment and it's impossible not to be proud of all the things Hiiro has managed to learn -- from Alkaloid and the people around him. Hiiro mentions that in his village, learning these kinds of things would have been "sinful."
I don't think it's a coincidence that he mentions all this to Tatsumi, someone who is still grappling with his own past. During Satellite, Hiiro has already found the answer. Tatsumi is only just puzzling it out, still trying to find a way to reconcile his past and his present. It really shows how much Hiiro has matured since the last time we've seen him.
Reading all of this during Satellite put the dumbest smile on my face. It's a perfect unintentional epilogue to Main Story Chapter 5, where Hiiro was only just learning to accept love and happiness. It makes me happy to know that Hiiro isn't that sad and lonely child anymore.
#my literature major ass cannot read a single event story without composing a little essay in my head#i meant to post this a week ago and then forgot oops#black bunny hasn't started yet tho we'll count this as on time#i have a lot of feelings about hiiro and his character development and everything but this thing is already too long#i cut out a whole chunk of how cool it was that hiiro knew that tatsumi needed a confidant#this boy is so smart#obligatory: i have not read hiiro's event story (the vermillion one) so like#i hope none of this is contradicted#enstars#ensemble stars#hiiro amagi

oh yeah, fnaf movie thoughts
out of all the words i could use to describe it, i wasn't expecting the most prominent one for me to be "cute". but here we are! thank you jim henson's creature shop, i love you
i am. So Confused. is this an au? a retcon? neither, somehow? (probably just an au but you never know with fnaf tbh)
they sure did spend five nights at freddy's!
i was So caught off guard when the credits theme started playing and i mean that in the best way. so fucking cool
overall basically met my expectations: a good time even if it's confusing (probably not so confusing to people who aren't already familiar with the lore of the games though, but again it's most likely an au so whatever!)
#ghost town... 2!#fnaf#oh this is a positive review btw i don't really have anything negative to say about it other than that it contradicts the games#which isn't even really a bad thing per se i just wasn't ready for it#kinda the same deal as the monster hunter movie where fans need to suspend their disbelief bc it's meant to draw in new people#(except unlike the monster hunter movie the fnaf movie's actually fun to watch for more than a total of maybe 5 minutes of the whole thing)#tldr i like tghe movie :)#oh also i guess i do have a 2nd bad thing to say about it which is. yknow. the creator's political views#but that has nothing to do with the actual franchise itself which is mostly apolitical and ironically feels pretty anti-capitalist???#i mean they made vanessa a cop in the movie but she's fictional and also not terrible nor glorified so i can look past it

battler the reader surrogate going on the same emotional journey as the reader. if you take a metatextual reading of everything then you could argue there are Implications to this
#umineko liveblog#the intended order is the order we the reader see aka the best presentation of information to create a solvable mystery#the narrative is arranged for the reader just as the crime scenes are arranged for the family#that does then beg the question that if this is to be treated as 'the beatrice narrative' who is the intended audience?#battler? kinzo? kanon? the family as a whole? someone else? i'm not sure#but further than that i have to wonder if in-universe this is meant to be presented as a kind of challenge to solve for the survivors#this is one of those things that i think can't be answered until we get a hint of a metatextual element#since there are glaring contradictions in that line of thought that do not marry with the physical reality of the story at all

fr both taylor's quants as mirrors to themself. rian Seen as so meritous and deserving and talked to and tasked with and advised and considered but apparently rian's whole thing is going "huh. wha" and having wendy's level of self-reflection (none). winston who is begrudgingly allowed to sit in his corner and ignored b/c he's undeserving so he can't really be meritous and nobody would look in that mirror b/c it's gonna be So not their reflection. while he just won't stop cassandraing and having all these insights and perception and observations nobody even asked or told him to have and is peak taylor understander and just like taylor: isn't guided by a paper-thin ego but also will take criticism / blame / mistreatment Too Much for his own good
#winston billions#the tragedy of the Lose Lose imbalanced [rian is ostensibly a character but actually a plot device] [winston: ostensible plot device but#actually a character] like yknow we could even some of this out a little. but also once again billions' handling of Gender Things....#that's (mostly) all an issue on rian's side of the Quants Who Are Also You scales#(it's also ofc still relevant re: winston; or anyone; and especially wrt Autistic Character but that's gonna be beyond billions)#(even [society if nonbinary rian] aside like. thinking you simply have one of your rare Cis Women Characters here....come on)#give rian a little more of that '''''worse''''' treatment that would let her be more Funny Little Guy as lets winston be more characterful#even transcending the [they won't give him an arc or C plot that's actually about him or anything] limitations#meanwhile again like Lmfao rian was Meant to be important but that's Only meant taking part in Other People's Plots as [device]#being a plot device is a way to use characters it's not like Inherently Bad but like lmao. rian doesn't get to do anything herself For Real#AND all the plot devicery means she's never gotten to have consistent enough motivations or like. traits to be An Character.#winston's writing is so [here he is to do little a expositing. butt of the joke. minor plot device] that he has way more room to like#just be idiosyncratic & Not have that yanked around by ''prominence''....it happens to All billions characters but it's So bad w/rian#like i can go ''this feels like it's Too Far serving the plot or conflict at the expense of character'' other times w/other roles but like#that'll then also be isolated enough to just ignore. w/rian it's like spent that whole time doing multivariable calculus waiting on more#info more context to conclude anything abt what she's even Basically supposed to be like. even my more generous theories can't hold up#and based on precedent i don't have much hope that remaining [i guess this could be a quality of hers] will either (a) not be contradicted#or (b) get to actually mean anything in any of her arcs which ig now get to be about the [nothing] that is [pay disrespects]#winston isn't bound to get a real arc even last minute but he'll still have felt like more of a character#rian doomed by intending ''importance'' from the start & that they don't seem to have ever had the idea of any more solid foundation#and that billions going ''gender; huh?'' can be like. rian has to go away now; we needed her vagania for diluted cishet man sex scandal#well i for one am really reflecting on Women In The Workplace(tm) now & for what. rian funnier littler guy winston Ever getting a C plot...#a superior tmc timeline....and like as ever rian can be shitty that'd be fine. but if it Means Nothing b/c billions either goes [nuh uh]#and/or b/c either way it just does Nothing with it. that then Is Not character material for her; it more so is For Winston suffering it....#most likely to end with billions just agreeing rian Was so specially meritous & deserving & winston was too cringefail (autistic) to live#even if we get anything Alright / given consideration & care in his material....which will in turn be like eh. as ever; will take it lol#plus ofc fascinating like. can't draw a hard line b/w the Writing & the Performance but still wondering how much of winston's idiosyncrasy#and that sense of character is big time via will's acting. definitely got that foundation in that the Writing = quant kid 2; one-off joke#and the Performance of that material = furiously writing in multiple winston scenes & despite it all bringing him all the way into s7#but he's autistic & typecast so also our hands are tied. could've had more for Either/Both quants; which = more for taylor by extension. f

One of the craziest things about Dragon Age (and this might help those of you who donât go here kind of understand what people are yelling about in the coming months) is its lore. But I donât mean that in the way youâre probably thinking.
I mean, quite literally, the way it presents its lore to you. In picking up notes and books as you go along and sifting through the codex, the game effectively asks you to act as an anthropologist. Youâre met with a host of primary and secondary sources, some many hundreds of years apart from one another, written by anyone from the highest Chantry scholar to John Farmer, and youâre meant to constantly be questioning every piece of information youâre given. What biases are present in what Iâm reading? What is fact and what is complete fabrication and what is, potentially, a slightly twisted version of a fact? How does one source potentially contradict another? The lore is one giant mystery-puzzle that you get to piece together across three games, and what conclusions you draw are going to be entirely different from someone elseâs, and so on.
And yet, the series still does something even cooler than any of that. You realize, at a certain point, that this idea you have been engaging with on a meta-level â this idea that history is biased and fallible, that itâs written by colonizers and conquerers, genocidal racists and religious zealots, that the ability to control historical narrative is the prize you win for spilling the most blood â that idea is one of, if not perhaps THE most important, overarching theme of the series. The way that we remember history â what we remember and what we donât, and why â and the impact that has on people on a sociological, political, cultural and psychological level, on both a macro and micro scale. Itâs the entire thesis of the seriesâ main villainâs whole motivation.
And thereâs gonna be a lot of people that donât care about all that but me personally it makes me want to gnaw on a cinder block and scratch at my walls

Whyâs Skullyâs idea of the ideal Halloween so jank??? Bro wants:
No candy (he says itâs frivolous and therefore unnecessary; Trey and Riddle argue for candy, RIDDLE defends CANDY)
No decorations (he calls for modesty and simplicity)
No color (just rooms painted entirely black with a single lit pumpkin; Vil and even Malleus, who often wears mostly black, areagainst this idea)
No music, no dancing (only silence; he says music and dancing is inappropriate even after the mermen talk about the importance of music)
To beat back (bad) ghosts (even though this holiday is meant to honor them all and their temporary return to the land of the living; Leona, Sebek, and Jamil are appalled at the suggestion, calling it discourteous)
Very odd how his entire concept of Halloween contradicts his idolâs vision for it?? Especially since Skully claims he and his entire village supposedly worship Jack Skellington as the founder of the holiday. In fact, Skully seems to be experiencing cognitive dissonance when Jack proposes a Halloween with all the things Skully disapproves of, but agrees to help with Jackâs vision anyway. What kind of twisted version of history do they have in his hometownâŠ? Are Jack and Halloween as a whole just super dull there???
AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, Skully js disappointed when you disagree with him⊠Thereâs also a very strange personality shift between Skullyâs upbeat, gentlemanly self and the Skully that makes that deranged expression, speaks ill of dissenters, and gets gloomy when his ideas are rejected. His wording is also very odd???? He says things like heâll teach everyone what a âproperâ Halloween is, which is very reminiscent of how controlling Riddle was back in book 1. Skully also talks about LOT about reflection and atonement. He also mentions it is his duty/reason why he was brought to this world/book⊠to show everyone what Halloween truly is.
HOW IS SKULLY JUST AS CONSERVATIVE AND VAGUELY RELIGIOUS AS ROLLO???????? đ Look, itâs okay to have a different perspective on Halloween and want to celebrate it differently than the modern and more commercialized version of it, but thereâs no need to be upset about it when you get outvoted??? (Not the NRC students were the most polite when they told Skully off, but stillâŠ) Really not sure how to feel about this.
Starting to think your classmates were right about you being WEIRD, Skully đ I didnât buy the âheâs a cultistâ or âheâs old/deadâ or âheâs Rolloâs dead brotherâ theories but now Iâm really eyeballinâ him suspiciously⊠(Not that I believe the theories now, but something is definitely up with him.)

The Bridge-DC xDP prompt
The universe has its own way to correct itself. Even chaos has its own god. But there are things beyond gods because even beings of belief can not encapsulate the whole of the universe. What is belief and faith in the face of knowing?
The creation of a mere god is small in comparison to an ancient...an endless. It meant that the fundamental law of the universe had been changed and that a new reality had been created.
This was the fault of Darkseid. The universal collision alone had done untold damage let alone the crossing of life and death. The overload on reality itself created a need for something to correct it. Order must be found and a way to sort the contradictions without erasing all of creation.
The ancients acted quickly to discuss what should be done but the universe itself had answer.
The boy king who called himself the bridge between worlds would be The Bridge. Simply that. He would be the concept of The Bridge. He would link all that is unstable and create an infinite path. The long roads. Interconnection of all things. The breaking of reality no longer possible because now it just bends. The travel between universes is no longer an impossibility but etched into new stone.
The Bridge is all paths, Life to Death, Light to Dark, Good to Evil. All roads to travel to their next destination. All transitions to new states of being.
To be The Bridge the boy did nothing. Being the anchor of a universal law didn't require upkeep. All he needed to do was exist in some form or another. It was a pretty easy job and the perks were great. He could block access to the people crossing the lines of life and death and into the infinite realities because now there were firm rules in place and someone who could control it. Kind of like how people can time travel because of Clockwork's existence make it a real concept.
Its pretty easy work until mortals start begging you for stuff.
'Oh ancient please bring my son back to life'
'Please kill that guy for me'
'Please give me some of your powers'
Its all the same and all Danny can say is.
"What's your offer."
Danny understands why gods don't do things for free. Imagine the workload if everyone got what they wanted just for asking.
Its kind of annoying. He could use some help. Someone who's familiar with the boundaries of reality to manage the new gateways.
The name Constantine was popular in the demonic circles and pretty easy to get ahold of once he disintegrates a few demons.
He would be the first mortal to make a pact with him. This Constantine should be happy to be in a non-demonic pact from now on.

On the sixth of April, in the year 1812âprecisely two days before her sixteenth birthdayâPenelope Featherington fell in love.
It was, in a word, thrilling. The world shook. Her heart leaped. The moment was breathtaking. And, she was able to tell herself with some satisfaction, the man in questionâone Colin Bridgertonâfelt precisely the same way. Oh, not the love part. He certainly didnât fall in love with her in 1812 (and not in 1813, 1814, 1815, orâoh, blast, not in all the years 1816â1822, either, and certainly not in 1823, when he was out of the country the whole time, anyway). But his earth shook, his heart leaped, and Penelope knew without a shadow of a doubt that his breath was taken away as well.
For a good ten seconds.
Falling off a horse tended to do that to a man.
It happened thus:
Sheâd been out for a walk in Hyde Park with her mother and two older sisters when she felt a thunderous rumbling under her feet (see above: the bit about the earth shaking). Her mother wasnât paying much attention to her (her mother rarely did), so Penelope slipped away for a moment to see what was about. The rest of the Featheringtons were in rapt conversation with Viscountess Bridgerton and her daughter Daphne, who had just begun her second season in London, so they were pretending to ignore the rumbling. The Bridgertons were an important family indeed, and conversations with them were not to be ignored.
As Penelope skirted around the edge of a particularly fat-trunked tree, she saw two riders coming her way, galloping along hell-for-leather or whatever expression people liked to use for fools on horseback who care not for their safety and well-being. Penelope felt her heart quicken (it would have been difficult to maintain a sedate pulse as a witness to such excitement, and besides, this allowed her to say that her heart leaped when she fell in love).
Then, in one of those inexplicable quirks of fate, the wind picked up quite suddenly and lifted her bonnet (which, much to her motherâs chagrin, she had not tied properly since the ribbon chafed under her chin) straight into the air and, splat! right onto the face of one of the riders.
Penelope gasped (taking her breath away!), and then the man fell off his horse, landing most inelegantly in a nearby mud puddle. She rushed forward, quite without thinking, squealing something that was meant to inquire after his welfare, but that she suspected came out as nothing more than a strangled shriek. He would, of course, be furious with her, since sheâd effectively knocked him off his horse and covered him with mudâtwo things guaranteed to put any gentleman in the foulest of moods. But when he finally rose to his feet, brushing off whatever mud could be dislodged from his clothing, he didnât lash out at her. He didnât give her a stinging set-down, he didnât yell, he didnât even glare.
He laughed.
He laughed.
Penelope hadnât much experience with the laughter of men, and what little she had known had not been kind. But this manâs eyesâa rather intense shade of greenâwere filled with mirth as he wiped a rather embarrassingly placed spot of mud off his cheek and said, âWell, that wasnât very well done of me, was it?â
And in that moment, Penelope fell in love.
When she found her voice (which, she was pained to note, was a good three seconds after a person of any intelligence would have replied), she said, âOh, no, it is I who should apologize! My bonnet came right off my head, and . . .â
She stopped talking when she realized he hadnât actually apologized, so
there was little point in contradicting him.
âIt was no trouble,â he said, giving her a somewhat amused smile. âIâ Oh, good day, Daphne! Didnât know you were in the park.â
Penelope whirled around to find herself facing Daphne Bridgerton, standing next to her mother, who promptly hissed, âWhat have you done, Penelope Featherington?â and Penelope couldnât even answer with her
stock, Nothing, because in truth, the accident was completely her fault, and sheâd just made a fool of herself in front of what was obviouslyâjudging from the expression on her motherâs faceâa very eligible bachelor indeed.
Not that her mother would have thought that she had a chance with him. But Mrs. Featherington held high matrimonial hopes for her older girls. Besides, Penelope wasnât even âoutâ in society yet.
But if Mrs. Featherington intended to scold her any further, she was unable to do so, because that would have required that she remove her attention from the all-important Bridgertons, whose ranks, Penelope was quickly figuring out, included the man presently covered in mud.
âI hope your son isnât injured,â Mrs. Featherington said to Lady Bridgerton.
âRight as rain,â Colin interjected, making an expert sidestep before Lady Bridgerton could maul him with motherly concern.
Introductions were made, but the rest of the conversation was unimportant, mostly because Colin quickly and accurately sized up Mrs. Featherington as a matchmaking mama. Penelope was not at all surprised when he beat a hasty retreat.
But the damage had already been done. Penelope had discovered a reason to dream.
Later that night, as she replayed the encounter for about the thousandth time in her mind, it occurred to her that it would have been nice if she could have said that sheâd fallen in love with him as he kissed her hand before a dance, his green eyes twinkling devilishly while his fingers held hers just a little more tightly than was proper. Or maybe it could have happened as he rode boldly across a windswept moor, the (aforementioned) wind no deterrent as he (or rather, his horse) galloped ever closer, his (Colinâs, not the horseâs) only intention to reach her side.
But no, she had to go and fall in love with Colin Bridgerton when he fell off a horse and landed on his bottom in a mud puddle. It was highly irregular, and highly unromantic, but there was a certain poetic justice in that, since nothing was ever going to come of it.
Why waste romance on a love that would never be returned? Better to save the windswept-moor introductions for people who might actually have a future together.
And if there was one thing Penelope knew, even then, at the age of sixteen years minus two days, it was that her future did not feature Colin Bridgerton in the role of husband.
She simply wasnât the sort of girl who attracted a man like him, and she feared that she never would be.

I heard through the grapevine that people do not like Taash, which is bizarre to me, as I love Taash. So hereâs a probably-expanding list of things to love about Taash!
1. They love animals so much!! The birds, guys! My heart melted <3
2. How kind and considerate they are to Karash, who needs someone to be gentle with him. They get that! Theyâre careful, and they warn both the Rivaini and their mother to be careful, too!
3. If you bring them to the Qunari in Treviso who is having a difficult time communicating, they will help them ;-;
4. How when they annotate the codex entries they always use footnotes ;-; because Shathann is an academic
5. How open-minded they are about stuff! They donât automatically know everything, but they are always so willing to listen when someone explains things to them! They listen to Neve about Minrathous, even though it contradicts what theyâve been told; they listen to Davrin about working out, and Lucanis about the Crows.
6. How quick they are to admit their problems, listen, and apologize, if needed. Itâs never frustrating to deal with Taashâs problems because as soon as you point out somethingâs wrong, they agree and are ready to handle it. Itâs great!
7. It was really adorable when they tried to lie to Shathann about using their fire and they just⊠didnât lol
8. They are sooooo sweet to their friends in the Lighthouse!! They always talk to everyone about whatever bad thing is happening, and they always offer to help fix it! I love that one dialogue where they insist to Bellara that her being upset about her brother is okay, and she should let the team help!! The way they express themselves is not always traditional, but it IS always considerate and well-meant!
9. Even though when Rook is recruiting them Shathann made the decision without their consent, Taash stops to reassure Rook that working with their team IS what Taash wanted. Itâs really sweet <3
10. They are completely fine about Spite and treat Lucanis normally no matter what.
11. They love Shathann so much ;;;;;-;;;; I will write a whole post about it one day, but their relationship is soooo⊠itâs so real! I literally know people like this in real life, itâs written with so much attention to detail. And like even though they argue, and things can be difficult between them, Taash adores Shathann. Thereâs a reason almost every one of their outings involves her.
12. They are extremely knowledgeable in their areas of expertise! Itâs fascinating to listen to them tell Lucanis how to lure out dragons, or Emmrich how to pick the right gems for his helmet. They are so confident !
13. The part where they yelled âthe crows axe their regardsâ during battle almost made me die to the Antaam, I was laughing so hard
14. The fire-message they write themselves after the end of their arc thanks⊠Neve? I think ? For her help (will update this if Iâm wrong)
15. They take everyoneâs problems as seriously as they take their own. Even when other people miss it, they are the one to point out or affirm the importance of the emotional aspect of things (like during the Solas memories, when they call out that Solas regrets not speaking with Mythal again before she died)
Okay! More soon? Add, if you want!

A leaked list of some of the exciting upcoming content from The Book of Bill:
The pyramids of Giza ranked from most to least sexy.
Winning lottery numbers. He does not say which game they're for.
Three pages of Bill practicing blackletter calligraphy so that he can write the fancy-looking "The Book of Bill" on the cover. (Meant to tear those pages out before submitting book to publisher.)
A section where he implies that all your headcanons about him are stupid. Yes, your headcanons specifically. If you compare your copy of the book to a friend's, these sections will have different text. He insults all headcanons equally, even the ones that contradict each other.
A long, rambling story about a funny thing that he saw at a party in the Nightmare Realm, but he keeps getting distracted gossiping about the embarrassing love affairs and crimes against reality the partygoers have committed. Not a single one of these characters has ever been mentioned before or ever will be again. He gets so distracted he never finishes the original funny story. He was clearly drunk when he wrote this section.
A pet care sheet on how to keep a pet axolotl. All of the information is extremely wrong.
Some of the other dimensions he's tried and failed to conquer. He keeps insisting that all the failures were somebody else's fault. It's extremely obvious that they're his fault.
A photograph of a vivisected elephant, for some reason.
A phone number written on a cocktail napkin that Bill insists would be really funny for all the readers to prank call. It leads to the desk phone of the director of the CIA.Â
Bill claims he definitely totally knew that Stan was disguised as Ford the whole time, he only played along to trick the Pines back, and then he quickly changes the topic.
A page of Bill's original poetry. It's all unintelligible symbols. It will take 27 years for somebody to crack the code. They're all gory but juvenile limericks.
A cocktail recipe. It will kill you.
Bill's original version of the portal blueprints that he copied to give Ford, with Bill's handwritten annotations. One part of the blueprints is labeled "component that will accidentally destroy the universe. REMEMBER NOT TO INCLUDE THIS COMPONENT IN SIXER'S COPY!!" He underlined this twice. If this page is compared to the portal blueprints in Journal 3, it's clear that Bill included that component in Ford's copy.
A personality quiz to help you meet your ideal sleep paralysis demon.
Bill's baby pictures. He looks exactly the same, except his bow tie and top hat are too big.
Bill reveals that he thought the llama symbol on the zodiac wheel referred to that farmer guy on the edge of town, and he was super confused to see Pacifica there.
Multiple pages scattered through the book about Bill's amazing powers, his brilliant and fun plans for our dimension, and all the cool favors he's willing and able to do for his friends and followers. All these pages end with a passive-aggressive aside about how somebody would have to be REALLY stupid to turn down an invitation to join Bill's crew, Stanford Pinesâ
A page labeled "My loyal servants and slaves!" filled with several hideous, oozing, nightmare-inducing Lovecraftian monsters, and one Mickey Mouse.
A self-portrait depicting Bill riding a rocket ship playing an electric guitar while rainbow lightning flashes all around him and money rains down from the sky.
A cynical, sneering tirade about how love is evolution's idiotic way of tricking primitive species into reproducing and how only simple-minded mortals who can't separate their true thoughts from their hormones fall for it. In the margins he's drawn a heart around the words "Bill Cipher +" a scribbled-out blot. The blot is completely unreadable. Despite this, the fandom will spend years debating the name underneath based on the size of the blot.
Extremely stupid "explanations" about various unsolved mysteries and crimes. In six years the world will discover one of them is accidentally correct and Alex Hirsch will get investigated by the FBI.
The book will be divided into four sections. Each section will begin with a big illuminated letter. In order, the four illuminated letters spell "F" "U" "C" "K".

tw - implied non/con, long term captivity, obsessive behavior, mentions of blood/death, and generalized twilight.
Aro claims to see the world best through your eyes.
You're pretty sure he only says it because he knows how much it bothers you. When he's not trying to get under your skin, he's more than happy to remind you how dull human senses are compared to his own, how fallible your weak memories can be when measured against his own photo-like recollection, how grateful you should feel to be graced with the presence of a creature so wholly superior to yourself. Even your sporadic visits to his court are meant to reinforce his dominance, as well as your awareness that not all of his ilk are gifted with his level of self-control. It's a contradiction, but not a fatal one. Vampires are a cut above humans in every way, save for when it comes to stopping themselves from tearing anything with a beating heart limb from thrashing limb.
And your sight, supposedly. He makes a ritual out of it; taking hours aside to peer into every corner of your waking mind, to have you verbally recount every minute you spend outside of his company and most that you spend with him. As a being who heeds no sense of passing time nor has need for rest, there's no reason for him to hold any kind of schedule, and yet, your private exhibition is always held at the stroke of midnight, always followed shortly by a dip into Aro's less scholarly desires.
You think he likes it - you knowing when he'll come for you, the way dread tints your every waking thought in the hours leading up to his nightly investigation. Like a butcher, brandishing his knife hours before the slaughter.
Not that you'd know it from the way he speaks. It's infuriating - how compliments your charmingly human inadequacies, how beautiful he makes out your little, nightmarish world to be. No matter how much blood there might be on his hands, no matter how many walking corpses you've seen him order to be torn apart and burnt, he treats you like something delicate, talks to you like a fellow conspirator, rather than a spoiled hostage. You're not foolish enough to think of yourself as his lover, but it wouldn't be an overstep to call yourself his pet - one who never runs out of new tricks. And, of course, a pet he holds the power to punish, should you ever prove more unruly than entertaining.
Part of you is thankful for his morbid curiosity, however degrading it may be to exist solely as an immortal vampire's favorite picture book. You've seen what happens to the things he needs, but doesn't love. You know about his wife, locked in her thoughtless tower, about his many guards, toed to him by a sense of loyalty mistaken for their own, and you're thankful that his interest in you requires an active and present mind, that he colors your days with books and theater and strolls through the streets of Volterra escorted by some hooded, distant guard. Not all of your stimulus is pleasant, and in the moments you find yourself trapped underneath a body of cold stone, the blood-red lips of the man above you still contorted into some awful, uncanny expression of delight, you certainly wish for mindlessness, but you recover quickly. You have to.
The only other option is to crumble into nothing and, as soon as he realizes you've been drained of all the things he loves you for, allow yourself to be swallowed whole.

Ngl sometimes I think people Are Not Getting The Point about TF One's moral conflict at the end bc they don't understand that the moral choice isn't just about Megatron Killing One Guy but the underlying motives behind why he did it AND what that one killing indicated about his priorities and level of care for other people.
It's not just the fact that Megatron Did A Murder but also that he 1. disregarded Orion's attempts to reason with him 2. became cold and threatened Orion with force when Orion didn't acquiese to him 3. dropped Orion into a pit despite the fact they were lifelong best friends 4. proceeded to immediately try to kill Elita and Bee who just watched him drop Orion into a pit 5. proceeded to immediately try and kill Orion once he came back as Optimus.
Megatron did not make the decision to kill Sentinel in a vacuum. The entire point of why it was a whole plot point is because that single action (killing Sentinel) is an indicator of Megatron's overall intentions and driving emotions (destroy anyone who gets in his way, fueled by anger/spite/vengeance).
The point isn't "ew killing bad guys is evil" the point is "you repeatedly disregarded the advice/wishes of your friends who had nothing but good intentions for you/each other and decided that you would rather go your own way, ignore anyone who contradicts you, and outright kill whoever you see as a threat to your dogma."
Like y'all. I understand that the act of killing/sparing is in itself a moral quandary, but you have to also realize that in stories, Life-Altering Decisions Made At The Story's Climax are meant to be symbolic of more than just whether it was morally okay to kill the BBEG. They are signifiers of a character arc, they're shorthand for a character's moral character, they're single decisions that say a lot about what someone values and what they're willing to do to achieve them. Talking about OP not wanting M to kill Sentinel as if it's just "he's saying that killing a bad guy makes you as bad as the bad guy" is reductive and completely missing the point.
Not to mention you know the personal element of "Maybe Orion has the right to be a little upset that his friend cared more about Killing The Bad Guy than he did about listening to his counsel. Or the fact that Dee may have shot Orion on accident, but dropping him into the pit and then fighting him afterwards were both choices that he made completely of his own will, and maybe the fact that he did those things indicates that he's Not Trustworthy as a person, and if Dee/Megatron isn't trustworthy to treat his own best friends well then what the hell does that say about him as a leader. But what do I know.

Itâs the law of ASSUMPTION not the law of believing it, so no you donât necessarily have to believe it for it to true. And you are not new to manifesting you have been doing it your whole life.
Really think about it, why would we need to work hard or be deserving of something to have it? If that where the case then âbad peopleâ wouldnât have the money or lifestyle that they have. Do you think that if we had to be deserving of things, good people would suffer? Did they deserve the bad things to happen?Since we been born we have been programmed with limiting viewpoint and beliefs saying things like
âGood things take timeâ
âYou have to work hard to earn itâ
You have to deserve it
If itâs meant to be it will be
It will happen in divine timing
You have to be completely healed to have it
You have to be vibrating at a high frequency
You have to be positive all the time
You have to be patient, everything happens for a reason
Or you have to be logical , be realistic
And so much more. This is why you can make up your own rules because everyone else is, everyone decided what they choose to believe / assume to be true for them and based on that they experience their reality.
Just because we are born and exist is enough proof and validation for why we deserve to have what we want. We have those desires and dreams for a reason. We were created to experience all of our desires. Do you really think we were born to work a horrible or boring job everyday for the rest of our lives? Do you think you were born to suffer ? Do you think you were just born to desire stuff but not get them? No we were born to experience being god in our own way, by creating our own realities. Creating our own heaven in earth.
Stop limiting yourself by thinking you have to wait,or that you have to earn it. God doesnât wait , so why would we have to wait? If we were meant to wait we wouldnât have a burning desire for what we want, that in itself is proof that the desire is waiting on you to accept it and make it yours!!! The bad/ unwanted circumstance we create didnât have to wait so why does the good or our desires have to wait? Iâll show you how itâs irrelevant to wait , say you want a certain shirt, jeans or whatever that you know is available at a store, well you know you have everything you need to buy it so you will order it or go to the store and buy it because you want it, you are not waiting around to see if the shirt wants you or if some other power wants you to have it, you simply decide you are buying it because you want it. I mean unless you want to procrastinate and overthink if you really want it or not then yeah it might take you sometime to decide on buying the shirt, but itâs all the same thing. Nothing is harder or easier to manifest everything is neutral and only based on your assumptions if itâs hard or easy.
Everything starts of with an idea or thought. Think about all the inventions in the world, someone had that idea and made it happen. Even science is based on ideas/ observations, they start of with a hypothesis.
Your desires are manifesting you, they are calling on you or else you wouldnât want them ( the desire is calling you, not you calling it, so pick up the phone and answer the call) your desires are here and available for you the second you become aware of them itâs just waiting on you to take it & accept it. Trust that they can happen instantly too, make an assumption/rule on how long it takes for you to manifest things. Create your own rules and what it takes to manifest without doubting it. Do you just want to affirm or assume once and thatâs all? Because really that is all you need to do and not contradict it and it will manifest.
If you want to see how it works try it out with something you know you can manifest, for example when I would doubt my power I would set up little test for me, âI would say today I want to see a purple Lamborghiniâ not even 5 minutes later I would see a purple Lamborghini. Another day I would say I want to see âxyzâ I would be as descriptive as I wanted and then I would see it later on that day. This just helped me understand and see proof of how my mind works and how easy it is to manifest. So if youâre having trouble understanding the law try this little experiment out for yourself. The same way I could manifest seeing the things I wanted for my experiment is the same way I could manifest everything else, now the thing is to not contradict myself and stick to one story and it will inevitably be.

We cry together
Pairing: Idol Hyunjin Ă non Idol Gn!Reader
Genre: hurt/comfort, drabble
Request: Can I request reader whoâs an en empath and when she senses that hyunjin has been sad lately she starts crying and then that makes hyunjin cry too and finally open up to her about whatâs wrongđđ©·
Warnings: none I can think of
A/n: I think you requested this like last yearđ I'm sorry for taking so long but hopefully you'll like it!
Hyunjin hasn't been himself lately, and you knew that better than anyone else.
His eyes were darker than usual, like he was feeling tired all the time. He'd barely joke around anymore or do his dramatic antics. You knew he wasn't being his normal self, however you didn't know why.
"I'm fine, don't worry" was his usual response to any approach you'd have. Just like now. A whole week had passed and he still was walking around like a zombie - a zombie who'd always fake a smile to try to make you feel a little bit relieved.
You didn't know what else to do. You tried to talk just to hear lies about how he was feeling alright. You tried to comfort him just to realise that he was wearing a barrier around him. You tried to be there for him just to realise that he himself wasn't there, nor anywhere. He was so inside his mind that the real world was inexistent to him.
With this dilemma inside your mind, the whole day had already passed and it was time to bid goodbye. He didn't look at you though, and his "goodnight" was such a whisper that you doubt he meant to say that at all.
Now that's a funny thing about loving someone. You don't only have feelings for them, you have their feelings. If they are happy you're gonna share their smiles. If they are angry you're gonna share their screams. And if they are sad, even if you don't exactly know the reason, you're bound to share their tears.
So when you hug Hyunjin as a farewell, you can't help but cry. You didn't mean to, but the more you cried the more helpless you felt and just tried to find comfort in your lover by hugging him tighter, hoping that you wouldn't disturb him. However, your sobs made Hyunjin come back to earth and back to you.
"Love?" he asked with a soft voice "are you crying?"
You didn't reply at first. Oh, how embarrassing it was to cry like that for no apparent reason. But Hyunjin took your face in his hands and looked at you with the kindest eyes to ever exist. It was the first time in the whole week that he looked at you properly. You didn't realise how much you missed it.
"What happened?"
"I should be the one asking this, Hyunjin. You've been weird for God knows how long and you refuse to tell me what's wrong."
A mixture of confusion and guilt showed up in his eyes before he dried your face with his thumb "You're crying because of me?"
You smiled. Not because you found it funny, but because you couldn't believe the situation itself.
"I just... I just want you to know that you can trust me. I'm here. For whatever you may need or want. Even if I can't solve the problem, I hope that at least we can cry together."
Hyunjin hugged you closer before you could see his tears forming. It was kinda contradicting, really. But for Hyunjin, the way you were already crying together ended up solving the problem in his head, at least for enough time for him to breathe again.
"Do you think I could sleep here tonight?" His voice was a little bit muffled, his face in the crook of your neck, but his words resonated in your skin. You felt he was little to little coming back to life.
"Of course. Why's that?"
"I wanna trust you tonight. I'll tell you everything. Just let me be here with you, please."
"Always."
Reblogs and feedback are always appreciated!
