Dynamosaurus Imperius Regina (Dynamic-Lizard Imperial Queen) or "Dyna" for short, The Sin of Envy

Much of Dyna's history is lost even to herself, she knows that she was created by somebody, but she doesn't know when, where, or how she got to where it is now, it has been a confusing and stressful haze of a journey for her growing up where she was a not fully conscious frankenstein of prehistoric pokemon wandering around with Wild Magic so at any time whenever she tries to cast a spell reality can randomly just become warped around her, and for a long time she didn't realize what she was doing or how anything was meant to work. There are a few theories as to why Dyna's powers are like this but none of them have been given much confirmation: Perhaps the energy source used to bring her to life was unstable, perhaps there was dormant wild magic in one or both of the fossils used to make her, or maybe it has something to do with a flawed connection between her two mismatched spines? Nothing is certain and that seems to be a running theme with Dyna. As far as Dyna can tell, she is the only known Dracozolt in this world, the first and last of her kind ever created. She is holding out hope that there may be others like her somewhere in the world, not that she would wish her fate on somebody else, but there is also something existentially lonely about being the only one of her kind.

Despite being one of the largest members of the Seven Deadly Sins, she is also the youngest member of the team at 14 years old, and given The Sin of Envy. She doesn't wield a weapon focusing mostly on being a spellcaster, but she also dabbles in potion crafts seeing it as something consistent that she has control over, if she makes a potion of Healing she can expect it to heal instead of having a random effect.

Hiram messed around with Correspondence sigils and violant ink, and now he has violant eyes and eidetic memory. I often talk about his flashbacks, but he can also make people remember things, and sometimes he involuntarily causes deja-vus. This is great if you're one of his students, half of your work gets done just by attending his lectures, if you're close enough to look at him while he talks, but it can get unnerving in private conversation. The deja-vus are clear enough to cause uncomfortable memories to arise, and they keep lingering on for some time.

To avoid unpleasant side effects during polite conversation, he wears an irrigo tinted monocle. Irrigo doesn't work on him in this quantity, but it dampens the violant effect on people. He wears the monocle only if the social circumstances require it, and there's just a handful of people with whom he wears it out of respect. He's perfectly aware of his effect on people, and more often than not he uses it to his advantage.

He's not worried about people remembering him if the violant is fully effective, he knows how to counteract it with the Rites of St. Joshua if the need arises.

When he needs to increase the effect instead of dampening it, he uses violant ink as collyrium, his eyes are used to it and his optic nerve got fried long ago, so the eyedrops don’t bother him.

💀 — What's their relationship with the Boatman like?

From the Boatman's perspective, Hiram is like an annoying cat that keeps showing up at his place. He always asks a ton of questions, and he often complains about whatever got him there. The Boatman settled on a deal to make him shut up pass the time until he can leave: they play one (1) game, and if Hiram wins he gets to ask one (1) question. If he loses that's too bad he'll have to wait until next time.

From Hiram's perspective, finding out about the Boatman was weird but interesting, he appreciates his sincere answers, and they're on friendly terms. One time Hiram showed up a bit more scorched than usual just to ask him about the Marvellous. The Boatman was positively impressed by Hiram's unfaltering resilience.

Rook loses consciousness at the start of the game:

"There's a giant tear in the sky, with the Veil weakening and demons invading. Players are forced to fight their way to the source with but a detour or two before them. Along the way, they meet a few allies, including the beloved storyteller Varric Tethras and a powerful mage. Together, they push forward and are met with a boss battle against a Pride Demon. From there, things go from bad to worse, the main player character loses consciousness, and the world of Thedas—and its survival—depends upon the player."

Also on the opening: Varric and Harding had tracked Solas to Minrathous. We meet low-level Venatori agents in the bar. If you choose to attack, the notification that pops up about what Varric thinks says that Varric would remember that Rook prefers actions to words. Then,

"Then the sky tore apart and a tear in the Veil, seemingly the size of the Breach, appeared. The Veil grew thin and demons poured into Minrathous, tearing the city apart as the castle tried to shoot them from the sky - damaging the lower city in the process. Solas was nearby then, but the priority was linking up with Harding and finding Neve."

Then, some details on a part that was cut out of the public gameplay video:

"[Neve] informs us that Solas has a hideout beneath a nearby statue, and lo and behold, it is Solas' hideout. He has painted murals around it, magic is used uniquely even by Tevinter standards, and at the end awaits a beautiful Eluvian"

Samhain Ritual 2024 Excerpt - The Story & History of Samhain

While I'm not leading the Samhain ritual, my coven/circle is leading, I am helping with some sections of it! Notably, I wrote the section about the history of Samhain and how we celebrate it today. I thought I'd share it here like I've done with my other scripts, so I hope y'all enjoy it! (Note: I am not a Celtic pagan, so please excuse me if any information is wrong! I've included the bibliography at the end.)

Samhain is the final harvest before winter when the veil between the physical and spirit worlds is thinnest. Celebrated alongside Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and All Saint’s Day, Samhain marks the end and beginning of the Wheel of the Year as we enter the darkest half of the year.

Samhain, as we know it to be currently, originates from ancient Celtic traditions. It was celebrated in the British Isles as the “night between years,” when the dead walked among mortals. The most important of the four Celtic festivals was a time to take stock of crops before the frost and honor the ancestors. 

Many of our modern Halloween traditions come from old Celtic traditions. The aos sí (ace SHE), fairy-like spirits, were left food and drink outside to avoid their mischief, such as killing livestock during the winter. People went door-to-door in costumes to blend in with the aos sí and collected offerings, a predecessor to trick-or-treating. Rather than pumpkins, turnips were carved with faces to symbolize the spirits crossing over and ward off malevolent ones.

There were several Celtic deities and entities who were and still are associated with Samhain. The Pooka, a shapeshifting Irish figure often depicted as a dark horse with fiery eyes, roamed the countryside, causing mayhem, and was a bringer of both good and bad fortune. Cerridwen, the cauldron-keeper Welsh triple goddess of the underworld, and The Morrigan, the Irish triple goddess of war, death, and fate, were both commonly associated with Samhain due to their associations with the cycles of life, death, and rebirth.

Samhain has become a tradition among modern pagans and is included in the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. The most important of the four greater Sabbats it’s a time to reconnect with ancestors, such as decorating altars with candles and mementos of loved ones who have passed. Divination, a typical ancient Celtic Samhain practice, is also a modern activity. Samhain is also an excellent time for shadow work and exploring your unconscious self.

In modern Wiccan practices, Samhain is associated with the Crone, the final of the Triple Goddesses. She’s one to go to for advice and teaches us that sometimes we need to let go to move on. The God of Samhain, The Horned One, is the animal that dies so we may eat and survive the winter. Gods and Goddesses not from Celtic lore but still associated with Samhain include Persephone, Hades, and Hecate from Hellenic tradition, Anubis and Osiris from Kemetic mythology, and Freya, Hel, and Odin from the Norse path.

Take this time to connect with the past, present, and future as the Wheel of the Year turns once more.

THEORY ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was looking stuff up about tarot because I'm a big proponent of fool Ratio and was hoping to find some more straws to grasp at, and I came across the oldest preserved tarot deck, which is the Visconti-Sforza or Pierpont Morgan deck.

And I was like oh that's crazy that I'm here looking for Star Rail lore and I find reference to Pierpont, which sounds a lot like Pier Point, the name of IPC headquarters.

Looking at the cards, they all have this gold embossed diamond pattern in the background that I think looks similar to the diamond/triangle motif in the Stonehearts Myriad Celestia.

Tarot is also heavily influenced by Egyptian mythology, so I think it's interesting that there are also references to that in the Stonehearts video (Aventurine's trial with the scale, Sugilite's statues of Anubis).

But anyway back to Pierpont, it turns out the cards were purchased by the Morgan Museum in New York, which is now open to the public, but started out as a massive private collection owned by John Pierpont Morgan, better know as J.P. Morgan, the uber-wealthy investment banker of the late 1800s/early 1900s. It's giving preservation, AND it's giving capitalism, the IPC's literal two favorite things.

Wikipedia also says that he "specialized in taking over businesses that were promising but struggling," which kind of sounds like the IPCs whole business model with what we know about Topaz's backstory and Belobog.

I also think all of this ties in really well with the like New York art deco imagery in the Myriad Celestia.

I don't know if I think the Stonehearts are supposed to correspond to the major arcana 1:1... some of them I can see like maybe Aventurine = Wheel of Fortune or Jade = the Lovers (because of references to the Garden of Eden), but there are more major arcana than stonehearts + Diamond. There are 14 of those cards surviving in the Visconti-Sforza set but that is still more than 11.

I don't feel like any of this is super conclusive but I just feel like there's something here. Does anyone have thoughts or anyone who actually knows about tarot have something to add? <3

These are purely based on my vibes from experience and the little pamphlet that came with my Rider-Waite-Smith deck, so feel free to argue with me, i could really use a conversation to get invested in rn

0 - THE FOOL. Obviously this one is going to be Sissel. The Fool represents setting out on a journey that's gonna take you through the rest of the cards, and it's the zero point, the beginning of the deck (sometimes the end, which is how my pamphlet organizes it). I'd draw him in the junkyard, maybe as the ghost flame.

I - THE MAGICIAN. This one gave me the most trouble. I eventually settled on Pigeon Man, partly because I couldn't figure out a 'scene' i liked for this more than a person. He fits the bill of a man hiding some secrets, but one who's a sort of 'magus' (pamphlet's word) or knowledgeable figure. No idea how i'd draw it.

II - THE HIGH PRIESTESS. I picked the park guardian/Dabira. HEAR ME OUT. The description I have says "tenacity", or if reversed, "passion" and "surface knowledge" (hate to say it but Dabira does not know the lore). Normally this would be a woman, but I ran out of female characters before assigning this one. This drawing would highlight the stars in his eyes.

III - THE EMPRESS & IV - THE EMPEROR. Alma and Jowd, respectively. The Empress is "the unknown, doubt" or reversed, "truth, the unraveling...of matters". More her role in the story than her actual personality, but the game devs didn't give her one, so. The emperor represents "conviction" (lol) and "protection", but also reversed can mean "confusion", "obstruction".

I'd draw Alma in a fake foil-card, where it looks like it's being tilted so some of her is visible through the "foil" but the "reflective" parts are her blacked-out flashback silhouette. Jowd would be at the foot of a ruined throne.

V - THE HIEROPHANT. This one's Kamila. "Captivity" is one of the potential meanings, but reversed it can also be "weakness", which I don't mean as an insult, but she's a little girl who gets physically overpowered. It would be Kamila on a thronelike seat in the red trunk, the hierophant's tools (maybe pieces from the contraption) on the floor before her.

VI - THE LOVERS. Yomiel and FianSissel. "Love" and "trials overcome", but reversed "failure" or "foolish designs". I think they as a pair represent the potential meanings pretty well; there's definitely love, but their love leads them to foolish plans down doomed paths. Drawn as each other's reverse, like a face card in a deck of playing cards.

VII - THE CHARIOT. "Triumph", but reversed, "defeat". I'd draw this as squished Jeego rolling away with the wrecking ball—both a triumph and a defeat!

VIII - STRENGTH. Lynne! "energy" and "action" both describe her. The reversed meanings don't really fit, so I'm ignoring them lol. I'd draw her in her determined pose, maybe from in the Yonoa with the pocket watch.

IX - THE HERMIT. Ray! "Prudence" (the other meanings I'm given don't fit as well), but reversed, "concealment", "disguise". I'm drawing that boy wigglin'.

X - WHEEL OF FORTUNE. "Destiny", "luck". No character fits this as well as the clock from the 'rewind time' cutscene.

XI -JUSTICE. Literally just gonna be the Justice Minister, in one of his slumped-on-the-desk poses. "Executive", but reversed, "law in all departments", "excessive severity".

XII - THE HANGED MAN. This one is Cabanela, and you know he's going in the hanged man pose. "Trials", "intuition" "discernment"— reversed, "selfishness", so the regular and reversed readings are the truth v. how he's percieved.

XIII - DEATH: I think this should be a drawing of a detective's pistol. There's the possibility of getting more metaphorical with this card, but here, I don't think you need to.

XIV - TEMPERANCE. I put Rindge for this one because i wanted to include all the people who get their lives saved by Sissel, and I do think it fits. "accomodation" (of lynne); reversed, "competing interests" (his assignment v. helping lynne). I'd draw him seated at the table in the restaurant.

XV - THE DEVIL. This isn't as much a person (I mean, it's Sith), but I want this card to show as its centerpiece the little grabby thing that takes Yomiel's Temsik fragment out. XX - THE LAST JUDGEMENT. A scene of "the last desperate struggle" (to borrow the soundtrack title) in Temsik Park, the last moment of gameplay in the game. Could be either the fountain with the meteor coming down, or missile in the bullet right before it's swapped. could be a lot of moments!

XXI - THE WORLD. I would do a cool thing with the phone lines and traveling through them for this one. luckily no one can make me draw it, so you're just gonna have to picture the coolness yourself

Surprisingly never spoke about it before but I been loving the Wheel of Time since the show premiered. Y'all know I like fantasy/magic shows so this is a goody imo. I've heard book readers have mixed reactions so fortunately I haven't read the books 😅. But I have been researching/watching things concerning the lore and books. The lore of the world itself is probably my favorite aspect. the Lews Therin flashbacks always get me excited 🔥🔥🔥I like the Ajahs/ Aes Sedai and the way they use magic in this world.Saidin and Saidar are dope concept(love the depiction of masculine and feminine ideals & concepts implemented)Probably the best example of magic I've seen in a while. Especially the way it looks. For me I always imagine with magic u would take your own energy and then form it into the said element u wanted to utilize. Wheel of Time show does this perfectly with the Aes Sedai channeling.. Gotta say Egwene was the best character in Season 2 💯. Her not folding at all had me rooting for her every episode 😂🫡💪🏿.. Also liked the supporting cast more in season 2. From the book spoilers I've read I can't wait to see more Forsaken appear and the growth of Egwene, Rand and Nynaeve👌🏿 . Hopefully this show gets multiple more seasons in the future. Definitely wanna see this story finish in live action. Y'all already know how a lot of magic shows get cancelled/rushed😅😢

Wondergotten is world of creation within connection between imagination and reality. I made this from a year ago during halloween. Though, this was inspired between Epic Mickey and American Mcgee's Alice (I usually mix them into one), and also with Zippy and Whammy in cartoon purgatory. It is a world between heaven and hell, as included forgotten toons and fallen characters who died tragically, like villains.

Wondergotten wasn't just for fictional, but also can be a dream for people who are from the real world, by called-

This is all sort of a new lore I made. Though it is hard to explain everything, I'm just really need a little relax first before digging more about it. Oh yeah! About the story title, is it officially by the name

A story about the main character or to be called the "Foøl" name Turbø, the greatest racer and has a loss memory due to be unknown and having questions about life. He encounter many horrors and having hard time to avoid his own "nightmare". Turbø encounter a familiar person, King Candy, who is a role as a "King", found him in a Forest of Nostalgia. Later, the two with Jack goes to a new home, Bon Thé vill. In this story, Turbo takes focus to bring his memory back and solving a mysterious world of Wondergotten.. or pershap find a solution to save the world..?

Welp, this all I have for the explanation. Though unfortunately, I may or may not made a story of it. But perhaps, if anyone interested about it.

Archite Yr’isha got bored of doing normal Hot Wych Shit one day, somehow got her hands on a bunch of ancient Terran sci-fi sports horror vids, and became obsessed with roller derby in particular

a few unsuccessful attempts at styling her arena after this sport later, she gets a very un-Drukhari-like idea, one that, if it works, will be so fucking efficient at extracting pain from hideous little willing mon’keigh, she’ll never have to enslave anyone again

her first few roller rinks of doom suck, and nobody shows up, so she contracts some Slaaneshi Imperial Fists to build the coolest and deadliest one ever

these madlads go above and beyond, and not only build a really cool arena full of death traps, they use the Webway to link it to every world with a sufficiently large and bloodthirsty population so Yr’isha doesn’t even have to go out recruiting; this arena is soon dubbed the Dreadwheel

a few tournament seasons later, the Coven of the Bladed Wheel invades the Dreadwheel, turning injured contestants into biomechanical horrors and muscling their way into being the medics/pit crew of Yr’isha’s games

the Bladed Wheel, in these incidents, created one of the first recurring fighters in the Dreadwheel, Koschei, who’s basically a roller derby version of Frankenstein from Death Race 2000 (except they actually do rebuild him from hamburger; the myth is that he’s just replaced every season)

as of M42, Yr’isha not only enjoys a reasonable amount of fame and fortune in Commorragh, she’s got a criminal network across the Imperium, constantly recruiting fresh meat for the grinder
