this is in a pre-tragedy setting just so it makes sense. i imagine the togami and kuzuryu families have ran into each other. i think the kuzuryu's would obviously not be blatantly open with the fact that they're yakuzas, so they're pretty much disguised as successful businesspeople, which leads to lame fancy rich people parties. so because of this, fuyuhiko and byakuya definitely interacted, since their parents may be buddy buddy. but the funny thing is, they'd absolutely fucking hate eachothers guts, and that worsens when they both attend hopes peak at the same time. so they just always spit at eachother every time theyre face to face while everyone watches with amusement

God help him, Echo would probably have to dress him because the ol' reliable combo of black t-shirt and jeans is all he knows when he's out of his armor. He doesn't even know how to do laundry until she finds out and forces him to learn.

Tying back to the laundry thing, Alex just prefers to replace with new. For YEARS, he was simply buying new shirts and jeans in bulk. Alex is good with his hands, but they really only know how to destroy, not repair.

Alex is big on gifts. I feel he and Kate have a cool rock exchange program. As for romantic gifts, in his mind, nothing beats flowers. He has fairly good taste in floral arrangements, and he can (and does!) make them himself.

Something simple, breathable that doesn't restrict his movement. PTSD makes him hyper-aware of his ability to move properly- gotta be ready to exit in a flash. Probably a breezy button down and jeans.

Jesse replaces and upgrades, both when it comes to belongings and to soldiers. Way back in the 15 lines post, he is quoted as saying: "Put ten in the ground, I'll hire 20 more" He's fairly obsessed with upgrading, both his forces and himself. He's painfully aware of his lack of physical strength when he's not wearing the Malleus exoskeleton.

Jesse, when he's medicated properly, is a decent guy whose love language is definitely acts of service. The man can't cook for shit, but he will order takeout from a place his partner likes and set up a date night.

His undefeated standard of plaid button down and boot cut jeans, baby! He sometimes wears a ball cap to keep his hair out of his eyes.

JJ is a repair guy. He refurbishes and repairs antique guns and he can throw it down like a fucking property brother ™ when it comes to home renovations.

JJ is a sketchbook guy- he's always doodling and jotting stuff down. He'd gift them a sketch of them they probably didn't even know he was drawing, a moment captured when he felt inspired.

me, listening to a podcast about a guy in prison based entirely on a coerced confession: what do you mean the members of the jury still think hes guilty now that they know about coerced confessions??? did you not hear four police officers interrogating and shouting at a 19-year-old while hes sobbing through a story inconsistent with the actual evidence???? there was no other evidence, how do you still think hes guilty???

me, ten minutes later: ...oh, right. if they say hes not guilty, that means they sent an innocent kid to prison. yeah, now that uh makes sense.
