Could you write a The Tribes of Palos Verdes Jim Mason x reader, the reader is sort of on the outside at school, they fit into any group and don’t really have problems with anyone. The only downside is their parents are divorced and they have the whole house to themselves for most of the year. Jim and the reader have to do a project together. Jim gets to know them and realize the rumors about them aren’t true. They become his getaway from his family most of the time.

At school

In my school I fit in with everyone. But my life is not as perfect as some people at school think it is. My good friends I have and hang out with are aware of my actual reality. At school i fit in with everyone basically.in my home it is just me and my dad. My mom lives in Colorado. My parents are divorced. amThe divorce happened when I was 8 years old. And now I am 16 years old, but at home it’s lonely. My dad is always at work. So it feels like my house is always empty. But it’s nice to have a empty house and hang out with my friends alone in.

In the real world time I am sitting in the hallway of my school doing some reading in my favorite book. Reading is my escape and feels good to just not have to be present in the real world. It is a free period for me so it’s nice to be in the world of my book.

Time skip

I heard the school bell ring telling everyone that class is starting. So I get up form where my butt had been sitting and got up to get to my next class. It was history class, when my body is standing outside my history class room I open the door and get to my seat. Everyone in my class comes in. Soon the whole class room is field with all my classes mates.

The teacher stared the lesson and was going on about that we are doing a history project. As the teacher is telling everyone who there duo is on the project, I herd my partner was Jim Mason. Actually did not mind this at all, he seems nice as I look at him sitting two desks behind me. Heard him and his family moved her to LA 6 months ago. The hole class lesson about the work for this project. American revolution.

When class was done I decided to make a plan with Jim to finish this project. After getting out of the class room I found Jim standing by his locker, deciding that I can ask him to work on our school project together today if he had the possibility.

We make a plan to work together after school at my house. Soon after we talk thankfully school day was almost done. I just personally haven’t been motivated when considering school for a few months now, but I have to push myself to focus and finish. ( note From writer. skip to when project was done and Jim and y/n are friends.)

Time skip months forwarded.

All in all we became each other’s supporters for everything in our lives. I was so sad when I heard Jim was found dead at the beach.

Yeah though I still think the king did a better job. I liked Elio more too. I'm glad he didn't lose Oliver to AIDS. Imagine how that would've been like :( The one movie that really made me sad was the Tribe of Verdes Valos. That was so sad too ;( I cried when Cody's character died cause also it was based on a true story. You should see it its good! Also The Normal Heart. I have the DVD cause I wanted to show support but I don't know if I wanna keep it cause everytime I watch it I get angry and sad. :(

Not me re-watching (for the 2nd time) the Tribes of Palos Verdes…

Seriously tho’ I did two nights ago…finally without having to multitask with watching it while doing college work at the same time…also while trying not to cry with people around…sitting in that student lounge…and trying not to react so loudly when the father slaps Jim…with Jim punching him back! Jeezus...

I will love this movie because ofc it’s independent…and gets you in the feels…it got me in the feels that night and triggered my depressive mood…lol…I’m fine for now...
