Summary : Cody and the OC are friends that started to date and this is taken place during Christmas time and they are madly in love. And the OC is named Sapphire. And this is mostly during the time they are dating. (Short fanfic)

( I decided to make a female character because that is what I want to do. I hope everyone can respect that. I also know that Cody himself is in a relationship with a man. And I respect that there are people how love who they love. So just letting everyone know. )

It is Christmas time all around, everyone is decorating and hanging lights. Is the most wonderful time, and I get to spend time with my amazing boyfriend Cody. And today we’re decorating a Christmas tree, we’re smiling and laughing. It feels amazing to just enjoying some alone time with Cody.

Christmas songs are playing in the background, the tree is looking amazing. I love the holidays, and I love spending time with Cody. We actually met back when we were kids in Australia, and it was the hole friend to lovers. Can’t imagine not having Cody be in my life, and getting to be in a relationship with him is just so amazing. He is caring and so sweet. You can say were some what of a lovey-dovey couple at times.

But you can also see the passion we have for each other. I am just so thankful for having him in my life.

This holiday season is going to be a nice one. And I get to spend Christmas with Cody. If it wasn’t very clear you can tell that my love for my boyfriend is very passionate. Every time we kiss sparks fly all over, and it can get very hot and steamy. More in the case of we start making out at any time when we’re kissing.

As we’re decorating I turn my head to Cody, and look into his gorgeous eyes. His eyes are looking into my eyes, and soon we’re kissing with so much passion. Then the kissing is turned into a make out session. Sparks are flying. And I can’t get enough of him.

While we’re making out, in the background the song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ starts to play.

My mind goes over to the fact that all I wanted this Christmas was Cody. And also that I am lucky to have him in my life. I couldn’t have imagined a life without Cody as a part of it.

This holiday season is going to be magical. And I have so much I am thankful for this year. Also can’t wait to see what next year brings in store for my life. But at this moment in time all I am focused on is Christmas. Cody is still going to be by my side and I will be by his side.

After we have made out we’re back to finishing the decorations, and at the moment we’re done decorating. And decided to watch a Christmas movie. My head is on his shoulder, his arm is around my right arm.

And it is moments we spend together that makes me feel like I am so lucky to have a guy that treats me the way he treats me.

If you had told me at 7 when I first met Cody we would’ve been dating in our early adult years I wouldn’t have believed it. But had you said we would be great friends I would believe you.

And we have our journey with ups and downs, but we are here for each other and that is what matters.

As the first movie I had gifts that need rapping so I decided to go do that.

After the gift are rapped both me and Cody put them under the tree. This Christmas me and Cody are coworkers my family at my place. So it made sense to put the gift for each other under the tree we have decorated. And also I put the gifts for my parents and my sister under the tree.

Today is December 12th, and it seems early to put gifts under the tree, but I don’t care. And yes were decorating a bit late the some people do, but today we both had a free day so it was a perfect day to decorate my place with Christmas decorations.

I love Christmas, and love that I get to spend the holidays with my family and my boyfriend.

Now a year later, they are all in California. Andy and Jim didn’t have many things keeping them in Eden, not anymore. Michael’s operations with the cooperative have been put on hold, at least any operations involving the apocalyptic fallout anyways. He still runs the organization and keeps track of things there. Only a fool would leave Jeff and Mutt in charge. But he isn’t as focused on the lethal operations aspect of the organization.

The more Michael began to admire Jim and Andy, the less he wanted to destroy the world where a future between the three of them was being built. He still had the plans stored somewhere just in case he ever changed his mind, but his hopes of using them faded with each passing day.

Andy continues to rebuild his image in Hollywood. He’s now more picky about what roles he accepts and who he wants to work with. He’s done groveling at rich men’s feet for roles he doesn’t even want to play. He only works with respected people now, specifically people who aren’t homophobic. Michael and Jim helped him see that nothing was worth pretending to be something you’re not, not even fame.

Jim is a surfing instructor at Santa Monica beach. He gets to see the ocean almost every day and teach people who are as eager to learn to surf as his younger self was. It’s a dream for him. For once in his life, he can confidently say that he’s happy.

Every day, they come home to an apartment they share together. They each have their own rooms, plus one room with a super king size bed that they use for… cuddling and private activities.

Soon that room would be yours.

One random Saturday, Andy and Michael messaged each other with plans to meet Jim at the beach around Jim’s lunch break. They wanted to surprise him. Andy didn’t have any scenes to shoot that day and Michael had been getting more comfortable with taking time off work to spend time with Jim and Andy.

They are walking on the beach now. Michael is wearing a pair of sneakers that he keeps in his car for times like this. With Jim’s love of the beach, they visit the beach often enough to warrant having back up shoes on hand. Andy doesn’t really give a damn about the sand so he walks casually on the beach besides the stoic Michael.

Their eyes soften as soon as they see Jim. He’s with a student, most likely his last one before his lunch break. Jim looks completely in his element, calmly guiding the student through the instructions he’s giving her. Despite his patience and calm demeanor, they can see the pure joy shining in his eyes. He’s doing what he loves and they couldn’t be happier for him.

“Fuck, I wanna go kiss him”, Andy mutters, his voice a little tense with impatience. He loved seeing Jim happy but it also made him wanna make him smile for a different reason.. Andy sighs in a mixture of longing, and acceptance. He would have to wait.

Michael joins Andy in the struggle for restraint to go over to the grinning brunette. Michael glances over at Andy and smirks. “Patience, love…” He continues to stare at Jim for a while longer but something seems to start distracting him from his moment of admiration.

Michael feels a similar feeling to the one he felt when he first saw Andy and Jim. She was pulling him in… like he was meant to see her. His eyes narrow with intrigue. Andy snorts.

“You look like you’re about to shit yourself.. What’s got you so serious?”

Michael doesn’t respond, his expression only softening slightly, the only sign that he heard Andy’s comment. After another moment of taking in the sight of the girl, Michael mutters.

“The girl.. next to Jim. She’s… different.”

Andy hadn’t really taken the time to notice the girl. It was just another student of Jim’s. He looks over at her and sees that she’s blushing as she talks to Jim. He can’t exactly tell if it’s a true blush or a forming sunburn since the sun has been pretty brutal today. That’s summer in California. But this wouldn’t be the first time they saw a girl flirting with Jim.

He notices that Jim’s attention is completely captured by her. It could just be that he’s focused on teaching her. But Jim would usually notice Andy and Michael’s appearance on the beach by now, no matter how busy he was. Andy fits in a little better than Michael does with the beach crowd but Michael typically sticks out like a sore thumb.

“Huh” Andy says, now looking at the two with the same look Michael is. “She’s cute” He shrugs.

Michaels lips quirk up a little at that. Michael can read Andy’s true thoughts about the girl, they weren’t as simple as ‘she’s cute’. Andy just didn’t want to say it out loud in worry that Michael would get jealous. He’s always had a bigger heart than he wanted people to know about. “You don’t have to lie to me… she’s beautiful.”

Andy huffs. He hates it when Michael reads his mind. But that doesn’t stop him. Andy nods begrudgingly, his tone softening slightly. “Fine. She’s hot. Happy?”

Michael’s smirk grows a little.

“Jim thinks so too”, Michael notes.

After a few more minutes, Jim’s session with the girl is over. She goes over to a towel just off to the side of where he was teaching her and sits down on it. Her gaze moves over to the waves as she quietly admires the ocean. This is when Jim finally notices Andy and Michael. He smiles widely and goes over to them. He sounds a little tired from being in the sun for so long but his spirits are still plenty up.

“Hey”

Michael gives a little smile to Jim but for the most part his attention is still on the girl. Andy takes notice and nudges Michael’s arm, grinning a little.

“You’re not being subtle, Mike.”

Jim’s eyebrows furrow, glancing over at the girl. He smiles a little, almost sheepishly. The same way he does whenever he is caught admiring Andy or Michael. “She’s nice. Not good with the board… but nice” He chuckles a little.

The girl glances back at Jim. Jim waves at her. She looks embarrassed at being caught looking at him and quickly turns back around.

“Ouch, Jimmy.”, Andy teases. “That was cold.”

Michael finally speaks up, looking at them as if nothing happened. But his tone suggests he is still deep in thought. “She likes you too, Jim”

Jim’s head tilts and his cheeks turn a little red. “What?” He scoffs, his hand moving up to rub the back of his neck nervously. It’s a habit they’ve seen him do plenty of times before when he was nervous. Andy’s grin grows. “I- I don’t like her” Jim sheepishly defends.

“Jim…” Michael says, almost like he’s trying to coax Jim into lowering his guard and admitting it. “She is cute…” He glances at the girl. “I have an idea”

From there, Jim introduced her to Michael and Andy. From the start, they could see that she found all three of them attractive. Her blushing was far worse than Jim’s ever was. Jim suggested that they all go out to lunch together. He had another surfing lesson scheduled with her after lunch so she had some time to kill until then. She accepted the offer. There was something about them that didn’t make her feel like she wouldn’t be in danger if she went with them. It almost felt like they already knew each other.

That was the first lunch of many that they would share together. She never made it to that second session with Jim… she was too occupied with a different kind of session with the three men who would change her life. And they were introduced to a woman that would be the thing they didn’t know their relationship needed.

6 months later, your bedroom was now that fourth bedroom in their apartment. Your apartment. Your new life together.

Everyone always thinks that the perfect Christmas weather is snow. Cozy ugly Christmas sweaters, a fireplace and hot chocolate. Well, we do things differently around here.
