Bill

Isn't bullied to his face for the most part, but instead gets shit talked by everyone and their best friends boyfriend's friend's ex crush

He cares about being better than people, and grades are seen as a status symbol in his eyes

He averages a 3.8 GPA (87-89% average)

Bill's pretty smart, but he cares too much about his collection to study at times. He absolutley has the potential to earn a 4.0 (90-100% average)

Okay so Skirts on Sentai Suits

Part of a tokusatsu 20 questions going around recently was "do you like skirts on sentai suits?" Here's the thing: Not all skirts were created equal.

(Preface to all this: I know I am going to be unruly suit-horny here so for the record, give them to the boys too. Obviously.)

Broadly there are four colour schemes:

Suit is all its primary colour, including skirt (e.g. Ryusoulger, Denjiman)

Suit body and skirt are primary colour, legs are secondary colour (black or white) (e.g. Gokaiger, Dairanger)

Suit body is primary colour, skirt and legs are secondary colour (e.g. Goseiger, Liveman)

Suit body and skirt are primary colour, legs on the non-skirted suits are also primary colour, but legs on this suit are a secondary colour--THIS IS THE HOT STUFF BABY LET ME EXPLAIN WHY

Okay so it's about "something hidden" or "something you're not supposed to see". If the skirt and legs are the same colour, it all registers as the same 'layer'. If you have a pink/blue/whatever skirt over black or white legs, that more suggests "clothing over body". However...

The non-skirted suits also have black legs, right? So clearly, that colour/layer is also "okay to see". Symbolically, that's black pants. (Of course, tokusatsu suits aren't only hot in imitating the human form. But we're talking about tight bodysuits in this post, not big sexy monsters, so follow me here.)

But if you've got a skirt over black/white legs, and the non-skirted suits have solid-colour legs...now that's a symbolically "lower" layer than the 'costume' shape.

So thank god for ninjas. See, in Hurricane the solid colour is the 'clothing', and the grey is 'beneath'; the shoulders of the sleeves emphasise this (contrasted with the Gouraigers' black pants, whereas even they have grey sleeves). In other words, that's a colour that has to be covered on certain body parts to be 'appropriate', like skin does. In Ninnin, solid colour is 'clothing' and black is 'beneath'--extra emphasised by the thigh-highs, which as I recently posted about, Jesus Fucking Hell.

Like, this is all an illusion. Obviously, the colour 'beneath' is just a bodysuit. ShiroNinger's black legs under there look exactly the same as, say, ShinkenRed's. And let's not forget, nice legs in a tight bodysuit are nice in and of themselves. But the concealment...the suggestion of something forbidden...the whole colour scheme lining up to reinforce this...(And well, Hurricane Blue does even have blue 'panties' under there...which again, if you took away the skirt would just make the blue a leotard-style shape like the Flashman etc. suits and not feel like underwear at all, but the fact that it's hidden and you get brief flashes...)

Interestingly, there's a third season that achieves this effect a different way--Jetman:

Now, all the suits here have secondary-colour legs--but uniquely in all of sentai, here the boys get a short-shorts/leotard/something shape, not too far off the girls in, say, Bioman. This means that at least for the lower body, white is an 'underlying' colour (or pink for White Swan, a common colour-scheme-swap for white rangers in a team with white as a secondary colour). So you do get the layered/"this colour has to be hidden above the thigh so it's intriguing" effect...sort of...the upper-body colour scheme confuses this and makes it hard to equate it to an outfit shape, as I also recently posted about. (And ofc, imitating an outfit is not the only objective of a sentai suit--the Jetman suits look great!)

Potentially post 1/3 if I can be bothered to post the other two. Yes there is more to say about this. Yes you will get my opinion on every single team in the third one if I do. Yes there is something wrong with me

Congrats, you unlocked the significance of the black goo's spiral symbol! 🎉

I'll get to the fish part dw. Every design detail the Team has made was completely intentional, whether they knew it at the time or not. The simple glowing symbols of the black goo explain narrative themes, why 4 is the goo's host, as well as other things. Out of all the ones here, the swirl was the most convoluted symbol I had to deal with. Let's start with the obvious meaning of these spirals:

Hypnotism — obviously, it's 4 being possessed by the keyboard itself. But it can also mean in a different sense, 4 is being lured to the idea of the perfect video. And yes, while he was possessed for the most part, he was still in there. (and you can interpret it by how the spiral isn't exactly fully drawn.)

Creativity and Imperfections — I think we are very much aware of how 4 is an artist, aside from being a content creator. Y'know how (mostly traditional) artists struggle to make a perfect circle first try. The truth is, no one can. Even with the best-looking circle, it'll never be perfect. So think of these spirals as harsh "attempts" to make a circle, for 4 trying to be perfect. But in the end, there is no such thing as perfection, which fits with the movie themes.

Well, that's what I have at least, the most concrete. As for the rest, it's going to sound insane but I promise that it works. Buckle up and put on your tinfoil hats for this one. Ok so, hear me out: astrology

You should know anything about me is that I have this giant book of semiology, the study of symbols and their significance in human affairs. During my research, I've seen two zodiacs that resemble a lot like the spiral:

Cancer ♋️

Obviously, one half of its symbol looks similar to the spiral, but its zodiac personality fits 4 and IGBP in some way. to quote:

"Nurturing and loyal, Cancers are also protective of their loved ones. While reserved, they stand on a foundation of strength – and aren't afraid to act when they feel it's necessary. Cancers are also known to be an emotional — and moody — sign....Cancers take pride in their work — and more than a little part of them wants to be the best at it. They are motivated to work hard not only because of personal satisfaction, but so they can support their loved ones. In the sign, [the crab] translates to creative, artistic and intuitive minds, with the power of (sometimes psychic) perception."

While Cancer was pretty solid, it wasn't what caught my attention.

Pisces ♓️

Ofc the symbol itself has no spiral but for its constellation form, there are a lot of depictions have 2 fish circling each other, similar to the yin-yang symbol. (Now, in the goop!4 theory itself, "two sides of the same coin" is a big part when talking about character/narrative parallels. 4 and Mr Puzzles, 4 and 3. While they may act upon similar hopes/dreams, they are different people too.) Sometimes, it's only depicted as one fish.

It might be a stretch to say this spiral is a VERY simplified version of the fish's form but the zodiac significance is quite interesting, quote:

"Pisces are highly creative and imaginative as well as compassionate and loving. Their emotional sensitivity factor is high, helping them to remain in tune with others but also leaving them vulnerable to criticism, worrying a lot about the effect that their actions might have on others. They sometimes put their own needs on the back burner to make sure others are happy. Their intuition helps them guide others often effortlessly. They can also be self-deprecating, which can cause them to underestimate their worth. It may take a lot of work from their friends and family members to convince them they deserve respect and care."

Now, doesn't that sound familiar? That's literally 4 in IGBP, and even beyond that if you think about it. A lot more fitting than what Cancer had.

This might be nice and all, but is it actually proof?

It can, if we correlate the zodiac to a specific date. Yes, we're going to calculate the stars on this one, and it's a good thing yours truly is an astronomy girly to have planetarium software.

Now, for this to work, you have to be very precise on location and time (to its very second). Everyone has a different view of the constellations and stars shift over the years. So, it won't be easy to take any date related to SMG4, such as Luke's birthday, and plug it in. But one date did work:

Random Twisted Wonderland Headcanons I have that I feel the need to share with the world, sucks to be anyone reading this!

KALIM

Kalim wasn't going to be invited to NRC, obviously, since he didn't have "exemplary" magic, as either Jamil or Crowley said in the game (I forgot which, FORGIVE ME), but it's clear that he would have been accepted into Royal Sword Academy due to his nature.

Kalim's family knew that Kalim would have been safer at Royal Sword, but they also knew that the school wouldn't accept their "donations" as well. Plus, they knew Jamil was going to NRC, and knew how much Kalim had bonded to the boy.

And, obviously, Jamil would be more than happy to watch over Kalim and ensure that he gets better at magic and has a good time, right? So off to NRC you go, Kalim! Oh, lookie here, you're in the same dorm as Jamil now! How convenient!

So, to sum it up, the Asim family made sure Kalim got into NRC despite the "dangerous" students because they knew Jamil would be there to protect and serve him. Ouchies

MERFOLK

Two different kinds of merfolk- sirens and fishfolk (aka, the kinds of merfolk desended from animals-- not sure what to call them, so fisfolk is a placeholder lol--, like the tweels and Azul). Sort of the same vibe as Beastmen and humans

While it's not technically cannibalism for a "fishfolk" to eat the creature they're descended from, a lot of cultures believe it to be a sin to do so, and some just get the willies from it.

Nudity is really not a big deal to merfolk. Like, most of them don't wear clothes, and those that do only wear robes and stuff to symbolize their class/status in society underwater. On land, they have to have a crash course in how to wear clothes and what to wear when. Floyd was very prone to accidentally forget to wear clothes and wander the halls of Octavinelle naked during his freshman year (much to the horror of his dorm members)

The Merfolk don't eat each other 24/7, nor pose as much of a threat to each other as wild animals do- some find it extremely offensive that land-dwellers assume all mer-predators eat whatever other merpeople they can sink their teeth into. They live together in a society similar to the one on land. Of course, the elements and wild creatures pose more of a threat to them than natural land-predators, but the merfolk themselves aren't in the habit of killing one another.

HOWEVER, there is a special law amongst them that if another merperson is causing undue harm to them/a loved one, murder is justified. And, of course, they must consume the flesh of the merperson killed and send the head back to the killed one's family for closure reasons. They may not eat each other that often, but in the Ocean, it's more natural and well-accepted to eat whoever you killed (in self-defense, ofc, if it wasn't in self-defense, then you are going to JAIL, queen!) to show that you respected the fight they put up and to honor their memory. It's more of an ancient tradition that's now just a part of what they do.

HEARSLABYUL

This one was brought to me in a VISION (aka me reading part 3 of Cater's Vignette for one of his cards when I noticed the background Heartslabyul students all had Suit characters on their faces)

All of the dorm members are assigned a "card suit" after their orientation- this suit is determined by the Housewarden (who is assigned the role of the "king/queen" of the dorm and doesn't need a suit), who bases his decision off of the personality of the student, their grades, and their ambitions. No one but the Housewarden knows why they're put in the suit they are.

There's a big initiation ceremony when the Housewarden finishes deciding the Suits for the freshmen, and they host a special ceremony in their dorm's yard that involves a series of tasks for the freshmen to go through- involving a maze-run with juniors chasing after them, a hedgehog obstacle course, and a special game that the Housewarden makes per year off of one of the Queen of Heart's rules. Once the initiation ceremony is done, and the suits are given to each freshmen, they will then be responsible for painting their suit on their face wherever they want to for the rest of their time on campus.

IGNIHYDE

For most Housewardens, a student needs to challenge the existing housewarden and duel them to claim their title.

For Ignihyde, they do things differently. Because they're all more skilled in technology for the most part, they'll have a challenge to see who can build something the best (whether it be a robot, a toy machine, etc etc- the decision of what to make will be voted on by the dorm members). At the end of the challenge, all of the students in the dorm will vote on who did the best- but they aren't told which invention was made by whom as to avoid favoritism, and boom! That's the new Dorm Leader.

Idia brought Ortho into the dorm and everyone just assumed that that was his challenge to the existing dorm leader LMAO

It really wasn't....but the current dorm leader was so in awe of Ortho and Idia's intelligence that he gave up his position (practically forcing it into Idia lol) for him.

Jungkook's birth chart analysis

Hey! Welcome back to another post in which I talk about an idol's birth chart. Since I want those posts to be more in depth, I'm doing them only with idols that have already mention their birth time. After the two bts members that I did, I will move on to Chan and Minho. Keep in mind that some haven't said whether it's am or pm so there are still two possible options, but it's much more specific than just a guess. Let's get it!

Highlights: Virgo stelium, Moon in the 1st, Leo rising, Jupiter in the 7th, Mercury in the 3rd.

Virgo stelium:

In general a stelium is a sign that's repeated 3 times or more in a birth chart. Since it's an energy that's very present for lack of a better word, it is very important in general and might even influence the person in other areas and not just the ones it falls under. I don't wanna emphasize Virgo traits that much because those are mostly known to people that are are familiar with astrology but more the aspects that are created in his chart. His Sun conjuncts his north node. The north node is a point that symbolizes where we're heading in this life time, the lessons we get, where we are going to shine etc. The sun is all about being seen, charming, glamorous, famous may I add 👀 it's also his chart ruler! Since he is a Leo rising. I'm saying it and I'll say it again, we should pay extra attention to the aspects our chart ruler creates, they might resonate with us more.

A really tight conjunction happens between his lilith and north node, which is very interesting. Lilith is an asteroid, the dark moon, it's sexual, raw, passionate and hidden. All those are important in his life (especially paired with his Mars in scorpio which is a notoriously sexual placement), but I want to say here that Virgo is known as a perfectionist, right? That includes themselves first and foremost. I think a big focus in this life time, might be to learn and accept the darker aspects of himself, that don't fit the idealized version of him.

Mercury in the 3rd:

Jungkook is a self proclaimed introvert but I wanna say here that having communication skills isn't tied to being an extrovert or an introvert. I know plenty of extroverted people that do terrible at conversations lmao. The 3rd house is ruled by Mercury so it feels right at home and gives him the benefits of communication and lively engagement with others. On top of that, Mercury is related to wit and intelligence, which are charms he does possess!

Leo rising:

Now is anything better for a celebrity than to be ruled by the sun? I don't know 🙈😂 In general I think that it's a beneficial placement, especially for performers since they crave and get attention easily when they come to the spotlight. Also men with Leo rising look phenomenal with longer hair and Jungkook's chef's kiss with long wavy hair 👌

Moon in the 1st:

Jungkook is someone very emotionally expressive. Despite being introverted, he wears his heart on his sleeve and cries easily when he feels like it, relatively okay with being vulnerable. His face is also rather expressive, no matter what emotions he experiences, evident on him. On top of that, his manly looks have an added softness to them, almost water sign like. A moon in the 1st house made a lot of sense for Jungkook, because his zodiac signs didn't suggest such a thing otherwise.

Jupiter in the 7th:

Lucky boy. Very lucky boy, I'm jealous lmao. Jupiter expands and gives luck to areas it falls under. The 7th house is about relationships and partnerships. It's mostly the romantic ones, although it can apply to colleagues sometimes too. None the less that's an area he is lucky in and that's further emphasized by his well placed Venus, in Libra, the planet ruler. In general overall Jungkook has a 'lucky' chart. Ofc there aren't inherently bad birth charts but some placements or aspects give you a harder time than others and he is, for the most part, lucky to not have too many of these.

I wanted to draw something more worthwhile today, but due to utter lack of proper sleep for past 3 days + resulting severe mental health drop, I only managed to doodle some NCP lore relevant stuff. I've mentioned the Overshadowers Council in some posts, but there are other important governing bodies, such as the Arcane Council, they handle the matters of primary magic users.

(I.E beings who otherwise would just be humans, though non-human beings also ofc learn magic that might be outside of their "natural" type, in those cases deciding which of the five groups they fall under is just trickier sometimes, and often they are already governed by another body)

I picked 5 main categories even though I do know there are plenty more, I just wanted to keep the scope fairly limited for the time being as this is just world BG lore. How I defined each is somewhat loosely inspired by D&D, but has more of my own twist on things so its not exact. Also picked a character to represent each category lol

For the Sigils, I decided to only use one of them to show examples of how they work, I just didn't have the energy to do all 5

It is VERY rare for a magic user to be able to claim two titles and requires some very specific circumstances. Currently, the only known person who is technically both a Sorcerer and a Warlock is Azul Samaros/Chester Knight

Technically, Soul Eaters could be considered the most ancient Warlocks there are, but given their power is so inherent to them by now beyond just channeling something, they are classified as their own thing by now.

Sorcerers/sorceress' are the most powerful magic users, whereas Mages are considered the weakest, given their abilities tend to be highly specific.

In case of a nonhuman being with natural magic learning something beyond that, their matters are mostly still handled by their own governing body, unless the situation specifically relates to this learned magic.

Characters shown in the post: 1.Beatrice (Forest/plant witch) 2. Janus (Summoner mage/has some wyvern heritage so he can use fire) 3. Reuben (Fire Elemental) 4. Angus (Blood sage Warlock) 5. Iris (Astral Sorceress)

The name of each sub-branch are as follows: Witch Covenant, Mage Ward, Elemental Hive, Warlock Guild, and Sorcerer Senate

While Franziska Belmont (A character in NCP) Is known as a "Cat witch" by humans (or sith-cat) she does not fall under the governance of the Arcane Council, given she doesn't have any magic powers that aren't natural-born skills for her.

The governing body is largely democratic, though when it comes to voting for the members of the individual branch, only those part of the said branch can do so. (witches can only vote in covenant elections, Warlocks in the Guild election, etc).

Every magic user listed as the Arcane member however, can vote for any candidate for the Arcane Council itself.

ABOUT THE SIGILS:

Witch symbol: inspired by lavender flower, which is associated with mystery, magic and spiritualism among many other things, also in the shape of a star, which is also a classic magic symbol

Mage symbol: a torch and a common portayal of a soul as a ball of flame, referencing the fact basic magic exists within everyone, even if they cannot use it. Blue because I needed the full rainbow lol

Elemental symbol: Life tree, as reference to how life is formed and shaped by the basic elements. Green because nature reference

Warlock symbol: Spooky spiky starlike shape with eyes and blades, because Warlocks often do stabby spooky stuff, and ofc red because blood. 3-spikes as to reference mind, body, and soul.

Sorcerer symbol: A Hourglass with the infinity symbol, because magic is "eternal" in the eyes of the people, and this is also often the most ancient type of magic people can utilize. Golden yellow to give off a "regal" feel. (They are often seen as sort of "nobility" among magic users and held in high regard/feared the most depending on the power's themes)

At the moment Chris was at Magic School trying to find a spell to get him and Cassie back while she was at the manor setting up baby stuff for when baby Chris comes home. When Paige comes back she tells Cassie about checking things so she could go with Chris.

"What are you thinking? What are you seeing?" Chris asks as Cassie walk over to him and Leo.

"I don't know or see shit still. I think it's because it's getting close to me being born. I hope." She tells him.

"I'm sure that's why." He kiss the top of her head before going to draw a large triquetra symbol with chalk on the wall.

"I wonder how different the future's gonna be, how much different my life is gonna be." Chris steps back, "You know the parts I wasn't told." He looks at her.

"Well, it seems good from what Cassie hints at. I just want you, both of you, to get home safely. Now remember, if anything seems different, we have another vial of this to get back right away." Leo gives him a potion.

"You worry too much, you know that? I'll be fine." Chris tells him.

"I'm your father. It's my job to worry. Now listen, when you get back there, you gotta take it easy on Wyatt, okay? You can't hold a grudge." Leo tells him.

"Hey, as long as he's not Ruler of All Evil, I'm cool." Chris makes Cassie laugh, "And doesn't still have a thing for Cassie."

"I'm serious. He's gonna be different. Good. He's not gonna remember he wasn't. So if you really want to change the future, you gotta start with a clean slate." Leo tells him.

"Okay. Okay, I get it. How about you? Are you starting with a clean slate?" Chris asks about him and Piper.

"It's complicated. I'm an Elder. I made a commitment."

"So? It's not like you haven't broken the rules before. I'm living proof of that. Chris tells him.

"Yeah. We'll see. Listen, we have enough of this stuff if you want to try a dry run before everybody gets here. What do you think?"

"Yeah. Let's do it." They tell him but it didn't work confusing Leo then he leaves them.

"You okay?" Chris looks at Cassie.

"I have this feeling that things aren't going as planned. What if someone is still after Wyatt? I've been suspicious of Gideon lately." She tells.

"Gideon? No. I'm sure it's nothing still."

Later when it was time to go Piper didn't know Leo was going with the two till they get to where they needed to be. "Sorry. I just wanted to go over the spell one more time, make a few tweaks." Gideon walks in.

"Tweaks? Let me see that." Piper takes the spell from Gideon's hands as Phoebe and Paige orb in.

"Finally. Where have you two been?" Chris asks them.

"Sorry. We were a little, uh held up." Paige tells him.

"But we're here now, so let's get this show on the road, you know? The clock's a-tickin'. Tick-tock, tick-tock." Phoebe says.

"Since when are you in such a hurry to say goodbye?" Piper asks confused.

"Well, since something happened with the thing, and the thing, with the thing. There's a warrant out for Chris's arrest." She explains.

"Yeah. I tried to get Darryl to bury it, but he's not on our side anymore." Paige says.

"Oh, this is bad. If I leave and they can't find me. They're gonna come after you." Chris tells them.

"It's okay. We've been through worse. We'll get through this. We'll figure it out. And if you get back to the future and we're in jail, you just have to bust us out." Phoebe smiles, "You just go back to that beautiful, peaceful world that you helped create." She and Chris hug, "I'm really gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too." He tell her.

"Aw. Here comes the huggin' part." Paige gives him a hug then Chris hugs Piper.

"Thank you for coming here. I love you." She tells him.

"I love you so much, mom."

"Cassie get you butt over here." Phoebe snaps her fingers so she goes to give her a hug. "I can't wait to meet baby you and enjoy your destine future." She lets go of Cassie so Paige hugs her.

"Come here baby." Piper smiles with her arms open so Cassie gives her a big hug, "I can't wait to watch you and help raise my daughter in law. I'm happy you're part of the family." Piper kisses her cheek.

"Love you." Cassie walks over to Chris and Leo.

"In this place and in this hour, we call upon the ancient power, open the door through time and space." The portal opens. "Create a path to another place." The three go through.

They walk through the portal and see the Evil Charmed Ones and Evil Gideon standing in front of them, "Where are we?" Chris asks holding Cassie's hand.

"I have no idea." Leo tells him. "Follow me." Leo orbs so they orb with him to the bridge.

"Again, where are we?" Chris asks Leo.

"A parallel universe to ours. The complete opposite. Our good is evil and our evil is good. I've seen a snippet of it before when I see things." Cassie explains to him.

"Oh, great."

"Maybe Darryl can help us." Leo suggests so they orb and well things didn't go well making them orb away. "You said opposite so..." Leo thinks. "I know where to go." Leo orbs so they follow him.

"Barbas?" Chris say's surprised.

"Best bet." Leo tells him.

"I know the truth of all your hopes because I can feel your greatest hope inside here, the hope that one day to return home. Oh, and of course, your presence here gives me great hope, the hope that someplace there really is a different kind of world, a world where the greater good, the, uh, the goodness of the heart prevails." He walks past them, putting a hand on Leo's shoulder.

"Is he for real?" Chris asks.

"He must be. Demon of Fear in our world must be the Demon of Hope here. Question is, do you have enough power to send us back?" Leo asks him.

"Oh, alas, no, I do not, not if you were brought here by the Power of Three. But, however, hope springs eternal, so I may be able to persuade the sisters of my world to help us simply by relying on their greatest hope, the hope to reunite with your counterparts, and then, maybe." He waves his hand over Chris' face, "You will be able to return to your time before it's too late as you hope." He begins to touch Chris, but he slaps his hand away.

"Whoa. Don't touch me."

Paige and Phoebe orb in, "Oh, thank god."

"Quickly, orb away. I will deal with them. I've done it before." Good Barbas tells the three.

"No, it's okay. They're the good ones." Leo tells him till the bad ones show up.

The four bicker about not trusting each other while the others just stand there. When they start to fight they take cover since they all think alike. "We don't have time for this. I gotta get back to Piper. We gotta get you home." Leo says.

"When Gideon said something can go wrong with the portal, I don't think he knew how wrong." Chris says.

"You said Gideon?"

"Yeah, he did why?" Cassie asks good Barbas.

"Because just maybe he did know how wrong it could go." He tells them making Cassie know her feeling was bad.

"I knew it! I told you my feeling." She smacks Chris's arm.

Good Barbas tells them Gideon is desperately hoping to eliminate Wyatt, "We have to go get Piper." Paige tells them as they stop fighting.

"And Wyatt"

They end up at the manor in to save little evil Wyatt, the four girls help make a portal back to and they go through. "There's my brave little guy. Quick, the portal's closing. We gotta get their men back through." Leo picks up Wyatt.

"I'll get 'em." Chris orbs out.

Cassie helps the girls grab stuff to head to the hospital and outside was completely different and too nice. "Hey, there! How're you doing?" A worker asks.

"Yoo-hoo! Yoo-hoo, ladies! Yoo-hoo! I've been waiting for you."

"Mrs. Noble. Hi. I was just coming out to move the car." Phoebe tells her.

"Oh, I know. You're a busy, busy, busy girl!"

"Yeah, see, it's our sister Piper. She's in labor, and we're all a little crazy." Paige explains.

The Patrol Officer and some neighbors come up to them. "And I won't park there again, I promise." Phoebe says.

"That's right. I know you won't." A patrol officer takes out his gun and shoots Phoebe. She falls back and Paige catches her. "Wrongs must be righted."

"What the hell!" Cassie shouts while Paige yells for help.

"Have a super day!" Mrs. Noble smiles.

"Are you fucking crazy?" Cassie takes a step forward and the officer shoots her in the stomach as well. She looks down and places her hand over it, "Paige..."

"Someone, help! Please, someone?! Leo?!" She yells so he comes out to help carry Phoebe inside while Cassie stubbles in.

"What's wrong? What's taking so long? Cassie is shot too and looks like hell." Paige looks at her.

"Thanks." Cassie groans.

"Okay, so I just sent our evil twins through the portal, although." Chris comes down and sees Leo healing Phoebe, "What happened?" He asks as Phoebe wakes up and gasps.

"Thank god. Now heal Cassie." Paige says so Leo goes over to her but nothing happens.

"Cassie." Chris holds her hand as she rest her head back. "Why isn't she healing, dad?"

"I don't know. It's not working." Leo keeps trying so Cassie pushes his hands away from her.

"It's not working." She tells him.

"Cas," Leo looks at her.

"Go to Piper. She needs you more." She forces a smile through the pain.

"Will someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?" Chris asks loud.

"The neighborhood patrol shot her point blank and nobody so much as blinked an eye. Then Cassie too." Paige says.

"What? Why?"

"Because by getting us all to the evil world, Gideon screwed up the balance, messed up with the grand design." Leo explains.

"Well, if you ask me, the grand design is pretty messed up in the first place." Paige tells them.

"Wait, so are you saying because of what he did, our world is bad now, too?" Phoebe asks.

"No, on the contrary. It's good. Too good. Where every little infraction is a capital offense and everyone just accepts it. That's why no one care they were shot. Phoebe was nothing someone and Cassie cussed." Leo says.

"Oh, so we're starring in a little movie called "Pleasantville"?"

"Okay, how come we weren't affected?" Chris asks.

"Because we must have been crossing over when the shift occurred." Leo explains.

"Well, that must mean Gideon's not affected, either." Paige brings up.

"No, he wouldn't be because he's an Elder."

"How do we know he's not using the situation to his advantage, you know, come after Wyatt again?" Chris asks.

"Because I'm going to find him first." Leo tells him.

"No, you can't hurt him, Leo, not until he shifts the balance back, and you know he knows how to do that." Phoebe tells him.

"Oh, my god. We totally forgot about Piper. We have to get to the hospital." Paige remembers.

"Who's going to watch Wyatt?" Leo asks.

"I will. Look, I didn't come all the way from the future just to lose him now, all right? Plus Cassie can't do anything bleeding out." Chris speaks up.

"They should take her to the hospital." Leo looks at her, "I can't heal you."

"I'm not going out there again. If you can't heal me then this is supposed to happen. Just go." Cassie says with her eyes closed.

"Be careful and don't move around to much. You're gonna be okay." Phoebe tells her and her and Paige leave.

"Cas," Chris says her name.

"Don't worry about me." She tells him.

"You're dying and you're telling me not to worry about you?" He raises his voice.

"We came back for Wyatt and you will go scry in the attic so we can keep Wyatt safe. If I die it doesn't matter because I'm still going to be born." She tells him so he goes upstairs while she keep in eye on Wyatt.

Leo orbs in and comes over trying to heal her again but nothing still happens making him annoyed, "Chris is in the attic scrying." She lets him know so he takes Wyatt with him while she leans back closing my eyes.

After some time Cassie hear Paige coming downstairs, "Seeing you for the first time, burping you, picking out a name?"

"I already have a name." Chris tells her.

"Oh, gosh. You do, don't you?" She gasps, "Well, now would be the perfect time to change." She tells him.

"They're under a spell." Leo puts Wyatt in the playpen.

"Oh, great. Perfect timing." Cassie give a thumbs up.

"Okay. We need to snap them out of this fast." Chris tells Leo.

"Piper must have cast a spell. She's the only one who could do this to them." Leo tells him.

"Why would she do that? She wouldn't unless..." Cassie speak up.

"Gideon wanted her to, to distract them like he did before, so he can go after Wyatt." Leo adds.

The girls laugh at Gideon wanting to kill Wyatt and they look at Cassie on the way to the door as the bell rings, "You did something bad didn't you? Guess you learn your lesson." Paige smiles.

Cassie looks at Leo as Chris tries to go stop them, "Rude." Darryl shows up saying he needed to take Chris so Chris telekinetically throws Darryl out the door.

"I was thinkin' if Gideon did get to Piper, maybe he left a trail I could follow." Leo says so he leaves.

Cassie starts to cough a little which brings up blood making Chris rush over, "Don't you dare leave me." He puts pressure on her wound making her cry out in pain.

"I'll see you soon." She gives him a smile.

"No, we leave together in a different way not like this. Please." Chris tears up.

"I love you." She closes her eyes and feels the tears run down her cheeks as her breathing slows down to a stop.

MY OC SQUAD (info and drawings)

Sangria Coyote; Why the name "Sangria"? Besides being a cocktail and sounding goofy, in history or in other laguanges "sangria" means "bloodletting", "bloodshed", "bloodbath", etc... or well in latin means "sanguis" which is blood. So the name is basically "Blood Bath Coyote" or something like that, the association with blood just makes the squad look more lethal which goes along with Zura's quote for the Squad: "Doesn't matter how. We finish the mission." Why "Coyote"? This Squad is meant to be full of Wildcards. Besides normal squad mission (in and out of the Clover Kingdom), the members can be assigned or requested by other Captains to work with the squads frequently. If a member is always assigned to a squad, they can be promoted as an "official Wildcard". The Captain can be a "Grand Wilcard" too. So why "Coyotes" as the animal/symbol of the squad. Soen, which is Zura's spirit, is a canine. Coyotes are highly adaptable predators known for their intelligence and cooperative hunting strategies. Their adaptable nature and opportunistic behavior would likely be considered more of a wildcard nature which goes along with what Zura wanted for a squad. Their behavior is less predictable compared to wolves (which was the second option for the name). So yeah, a lethal coyote gang. Well now the members. The COYOTES.

(Forgot to note that her heels add more to her height as it's obvious so if her height isn't consistent... yeah)

So I didn't draw Touya's cat (Gray) or June's cat (Gingerbread), but Gray has "Sleeping Magic" (doesn't talk like Geister) and Gingerbread is just a normal cat. Anyways, These are an updated version, so here's some notes: -Before Hera becoming a captain together with Zura, her cape had a "round back" like the one Kai's wearing on the sheet, since she was the vice captain. Of course after becoming a captain, she changed for the one with the same back as Zura and Kai changed for the Vice Captain cape. -The outside members (Shau and Linus) have a different rope and Damon has one for his size but it's still different from the regular members' ropes.

-Geister (human) didn't want a rope so he just has the symbol on his suit. -When I created the characters, I gave them mainly madeup or japanese surnames (and some first names too) however I did want to change that... but I also wanted to honour my 15y ass so I kept it... anyways Kai would be Spanish (as the surname can tell ofc); Hera doesn't really have a place where she could be from since she is from the Witches' Forest; Touya would be Finnish; The twins would be Mexican; Geister would be British; Linus would be Belgian; Shau and Damon would be Italian (no they are not related); June doesn't really have a place she would be from;

-Damon, Shau and Linus were recently added to the squad (2022-2023) -Some characters have a "?" on their sexuality, since they aren't straight but don't exactly have a clear definition like Ryu, Touya, Hera and Zura. In other words, it doesn't take a big part... However Shau and Linus are kind of a suspicious duo- -In a possible Timeskip, Damon is the captain of a new squad called "Raven Crows" (yes I wanted to play on words and it sounds like "Ravenclaw") and he is dating Marie; Geister would be now Damon's caretaker; Zura would still be around in Magic Knight stuff but Kai would be the Captain of the Sangria Coyote; Hera would still be around but not involved as much in Magic Knight stuff but I do see her being a teacher; Touya and the twins would still be Coyotes; Shau and Linus I see them living in other Kingdom having their own journey but they would visit Damon; June would have her own squad too and be the "Aloe Sylphs"; sorry for the long post

(i just had the biggest brain thonks just now for a hypothetical tonitoni version of the childe character quest

mainly that it's not just teucer that shows up in liyue.............. but also natalya (aka tonitoni's OC big sister), who's here to tidy up some loose business ends in the wake of the osial incident, but teucer took the opportunity to sneak onto the same boat after hearing that tonitoni is also in liyue and so is trying to find her)

(the quest itself probably starts with the traveler and paimon encountering natalya in the harbor, who's frantically looking around for teucer because she caught him hiding while they were already en route, but the second the boat docked, he took off.

so after some searching that leads them into the wilderness, natalya and the traveler split up to search different areas more efficiently. that's when the traveler finds teucer, who's having his little idolizing moment over a ruin guard - except, this ruin guard ends up not being completely out of power, activating, and is clearly about to smash a completely oblivious teucer to pulp.

the traveler is running like hell to stop it, but then - a flash of lightning shooting past!!!!!!! and then an ice spear blocks the guard and rapidly sends it toppling over with a loud smash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who could have done that?? tonitoni, ofc.

she's out here doing her own unrelated stuff (implied maybe in a future chara quest or her backstory lore to be leyline bs) when she saw the commotion about to happen while passing by.

anyway, the traveler is surprised but also relieved and trades a little bit of chitchat about tartaglia being out here. however, the convo is cut short by teucer suddenly yelling and pointing fingers at tonitoni, partly bc he can recognize the fatui symbol on her clothing so he knows she's a part of them, and as far as teucer understands, the fatui aren't all that good - but primarily, it's because she "broke mr. cyclops" right in front of him, and he starts spewing a bunch of stuff about how the fatui are truly big meanies who hurt people and stole his sister and he wants her to apologize to mr. cyclops right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the face of this, the traveler tries to calm him down, obviously, and paimon is probably frantically trying to rope in tonitoni to contribute some amount of help, please? except tonitoni is just like, blinking, blankly staring at teucer, in what seems to be dumbfounded silence (but in hindsight isn't; she very much caught the part about "the fatui stealing his sister", the mention of a "mr. cyclops" from her family's letters, teucer's name likely gets mentioned too.................. tonitoni can connect the dots on Who this random kid is—)

anyway, the traveler and paimon only manage to calm him down by (frantically, in paimon's case) saying the fatui didn't steal anyone?? also they know where his sister is! which immediately distracts teucer in cooperation.

(and ofc, teucer is thinking of tonia here - while the traveler and paimon was referring to natalya)

anyway, traveler and co. (this includes tonia, because she can't just hecking leave the matter be now??) thus head to where they agreed to meet up with natalya, and it's a cute and happy little reunion scene, with natalya worrying over teucer and thanking the traveler for helping her and - wait. who's this other girl?

"that's tartaglia, the eleventh harbinger," paimon nonchalantly drops, ofc.

and natalya Immediately straightens up because what do you mean that's a harbinger. wait, the eleventh? and natalya takes one good look at tonitoni who is trying to be as still and unnoticed as possible, just examining a tree to the side like there's nothing wrong or awkward here haha (isn't natalya the name of her own older sister? this couldnt be a coincidence...........................)

the moment doesn't last very long though, because teucer then pipes in with "natasha!!!!!! this nice blonde person and their fairy said they know where big sister is!!!!!"

and natalya is just "what"

and the traveler and paimon are just "what"

and tonitoni feels like she's dying (again) on the inside and is trying so hard to sneak away now

and ofc, it goes into a short explanation to clear up what's apparently a misunderstanding - the traveler saying they meant natalya, so like, who the heck is teucer referring to??

teucer goes :0 like "wait so not my other sister?"

"other sister??"

and teucer gets as far as saying, "i have another big sister! not as big as natasha but i heard people say that the fatui took her away when i was smaller." before natalya's face gains the full pallor of a ghost and is clearly about to say something to cut him off.

except tonitoni is the one who intervenes, sharply cutting in with a "wow veeeeery fascinating story there, i didn't know that the organization i represent is apparently so shady in the eyes of snezhnaya's citizens. fascinating, wow, would love to hear more!" said in a way that is nonchalant but with what seems to be a dangerous current underneath, a subtle warning essentially

(though the warning is less over her siblings sounding unpatriotic in front of her, and more that they shouldn't loudly throw out such critiques for any other ears; tonitoni herself obviously doesn't give a shit, but the same kindness won't be given by others)

she continues though by basically pointing in the direction of the harbor and going "but this isn't a conversation to have in the middle of fuck nowhere. we're going back to the city first." which everyone, barring a slightly disappointed teucer, agrees with.

anyway that's about as far as my thonks went!!

other notes for the thonks though:

natalya definitely caught on early that the tartaglia that showed up with the traveler is also v much her absent baby sister tonia. natalya knows as much since their family gets periodic updates about tonia's wellbeing, and theyve been sending letters to her as well

not that tonia's ever replied to the letters, which is why she's so awkward and quiet here - she's not just processing the whole realization that these people are likely to be her siblings, but she's also going through an internal cringe montage of "wow tonia you are the Worst sister ever didn't reply to a single letter and now they're in front of you also teucer thinks you're a cyclops murderer just fucking great tonia banger job you fucking Suck"

also yeah that last bit where she stops teucer from talking too much? that's very much an attempt on her part to stop hearing about what her family thinks about her. also doesn't need the traveler to potentially connect dots. but primarily, teucer, please don't talk about her she doesn't want to undergo the mortifying experience of being perceived, and especially not when teucer clearly Doesn't Recognize Her which makes it extra awkward like she's right here omgggggggggggg

I'm gonna do a post of my speculations/theories on what's happening at Indigo Park with what details we have, but, I just wanted to write some of my thoughts down before getting into it!

In terms of mascot characters: Rambley, Lloyd, and Salem are important. Rambley, obviously face of the brand. Lloyd is important. Geese has been said that he's gonna be important. But we also see this visually. When Ed is driving through the entrance thing to Indigo Park, we see on the left there is a mural of Lloyd, and to the right, we see Rambley. In the old timey advert, we see Lloyd's mural instead of Rambley's on opening day. We then see Rambley and Lloyd shaking hands and Lloyd handing him a paper. Symbolizing Rambley is now the face for the brand. Not to mention, the retro plush, the Lloyd's limo that was possible converted into Rambley's Railroad, and the statue that's similar to that of Isaac and Rambley.

Salem's part in the Rambley's Railroad is just torn to shreds, what appears to be blood, and we only got apart of them in the arcade game, and that arcade game hints at a lot of the lore, as well. These are our main three. This doesn't mean Mollie and Finely aren't important, ofc!

Also I really hope Ed is like- actually part of the story and has a character, and not a McGuffin to experience the story. (Ik it's chapter 1, we have to let Geese and the team cook), but, a lot of mascot horror just has the protagonist is just meant to be a viewer for the audience instead of an active part. My speculative/headcanon here is that Ed and his mom are related to Isaac, in a way. Like Ed is Isaac's grandson or great-grandson. Because Ed's family sticks out like a sore thumb and memories of the park stick out to us. Even if he isn't, I just hope he has an actual character. We thankfully do get to see some of Ed's personality via Harmony and the Collectibles he shows to Rambley.

I admit I didn't really like SasuKarin back then but I decided to give it a chance after reading On Sasuke Uchiha and his bonds with Itachi Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, Karin Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno and your posts concerning them. I still don't ship them but my opinion has changed of it a lot and I actually think those two had a better chance at becoming a pair. But I think what raised my respect for it even more was their fan children. I have a soft spot for fan children so it's not really a surprise, but they are all so cute and beautiful! My personal favorites are Akari Uzumaki and the U-Twins! Speaking of the U-Twins, you and Pumiih did an awesome job on them! They look so cool and mysterious just like their parents and I love what they are meant to represent! They're hairstyles also remind me of Madara so that's funny to me lol. I also really like the idea of Sasuke growing his hair out into a ponytail to honor Itachi. The side shavings on his hair makes him even cooler in my opinion. I also noticed something. I don't know know how to properly explain it but I'll try. We see more male Uchiha clan members than female (despite there being some such as Naomi, Izumi, and Mikoto) and we see more female Uzumaki clan members than male (despite there being some such as Ashina, Nagato, and Naruto). It's almost as if those certain genders hold the more importance. So I think it's interesting that it's reversed with the U-Twins. Sorry if I didn't explain it well (couldn't really find the right words) but all in all, I'm excited to see what you'll do with them in the future, make sure you don't rush, take your time and rest, and again, awesome job! 💜❤️

Anon, I don't know who you are, but first of all THANK YOU for your kind and introspective message.

I want to say this is one of the messages that definitely won my heart because you SAW what I meant to do. You explained everything PERFECTLY! That's exactly what I wanted to do. A "gender roles swap" to show that change that is meant to bring in more ways than one.

Because while I do express these changes through my preferred ships, I never really forgot about the CORE elements of what made the Naruto story so beloved, and one of that is the clans & the shinobi system.

Their design have a thought about element from the very strand of hair to their overall design... I don't know if you know me for a long time or not, but one of the things I'm obsessed about is symbolism. So when I create something, there's a symbolic meaning behind almost everything!

When studying Literature, symbolism has been one of my favorite parts. I just love how one can transmit certain themes, ideas, beliefs etc in a symbolic way.

I feel as if this manages to stay with the reader/viewer better. It somehow enters your soul.

Being part of the Shinachiku Kosen team & doing Kaika myself, I can tell you that both Akari & the U twins have a great deal of symbolism behind them & were created with much love.

I know people don't taste SK that good, especially given how the great metas of the past about them has been lost. I only touched in that analysis you mentioned like a small, surface-level way.

If you would've been here in the past when Skania or Homusubi wrote their metas (both great known names in the SK fandom), you would've at least been able to understand where the SK fandom comes from. Or came. There aren't many left anyway.

I didn't particularily do it either in the beginning, but then when I saw the symbolism that was building up, Sasuke awakening such power to protect Karin and their similar backgrounds, I couldn't help but fall for the possibility of it. Plus, the comedic act of it. It was something different about them. But alas...

keyboard warrior returns bc im currently rereading ltm for some healing and overall good vibes and over the days my notes just grew into this mammoth essay so what can we do 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

my shower thought when bug signs soojin is 'dead' is under what context did bug create that sign? ? like why did she need a sign for that 😔 and just in general how does she come up with signs that aren't used often like 'home' bc what i like to imagine is little yun, bug and soojin hidden away in some safe place when they have free time and just holding each others' hands so they can have little language lessons and make up signs and practice them until they remember them pls im going to combust into a billion little hearts

ch 5-6 are some of my fave chapters bc it's such a pivotal point in her relationship w some of hte members in ateez where they see for themselves the amount of trauma that bug has been through but then we also know in reality it's just the tip of the iceberg :((

bug diving to save hwa from the arrow and then hwa doing the same by covering her body with his. YES. SHOW BUG SHE'S WORTH PROTECTING. as much as i hate bug and ateez putting their bodies and lives on the line for each other daMn nothing beats this sort of angsty protectiveness. more pls 🤩🤩

literally got goosebumps when san just so naturally signed promise without realising before letting go of yun's hand. like the fact that it was just instinct for him is so so so cute

i think one of my favourite moments is when bug breaks out of her episode and signs to yun that she's tired, and he reassures her “Sleep, Tiny. I’ve got you now.” not just bc of my brainrot going 💓💓 @ yun calling me bug tiny but the amount of trust she puts into yun to take care of her whilst shes both emotionally and physically at her most vulnerable. and then we get yun carrying bug back to camp like a little baby i SWEAR SIZE DIFFERENCES MOONIE YOU'RE GONNA GIMME WHIPLASH SO BAD ONE DAY I'LL NEVER RECOVER

i love the amount of growth you can see already during bug's first episode with ateez and how GOOD they are for her bc 1) yun was able to break bug out of her episode w/o her needing to experience pain first 2) she's normally non-verbal for days after but she asked joong that very same day if she did good (OFC BUG YOU WERE THE BEST 🫶) 3) literally fell asleep to san's hushed comforts

pls when san was explaining the reason why he calls bug bug and she has the most adorable confused face that san wants to capture - i'm just imagining if ateez had access to a polaroid or some sort of camera with prints bc they would take such the CUTEST photos of each other and i can see them taking so so so many photos of bug (ofc only when she's comfortable with it bc ik she'd initially be so shy and insecure) and there would also be all these candid photos of bug looking at the other members with stars eyes and photos of the members looking at bug with heart eyes. and the reason i say polaroid or prints is bc bug will be all ?? what is this sorcery 🧐?? at first but then she'll come to have this one photo of ot9 that gets all creased and faded bc of how closely she keeps it with her all the time bc it's the most precious thing she owns and she'll literally throw hands before she lets anyone take it away from her 🥺 im so delulu rn im in love with bug

also on the note of bug's name, when san creates a symbol for her i just realised he uses a circle as part of it which i now know is 'home' and if that ain't the cutest thing 😭 idk if that was deliberate on your part but san unknowingly referring to bug as home has got me gOOD

bug already having a sign for the word 'dead' implies something that will be hinted on in the next chapter so I'm glad you've brought it up ;) also yes I think she does come up with signs for things she doesn't use very often because there might have been a time she thought there was a chance she would use them :'(

and YES that is almost exactly how I imagined them making their little language,, sometimes soojin wasn't there (you'll partially see why in the next chapter ;) ) but they kind of had to seclude themselves away from prying eyes in the darkness of night when no one would look for them,, then they kind of just held hands and came up with their little symbols and repeated them until they stuck :") it took over a year or two before they had the widespread vocabulary they have now but they got there <3

chapter five and six were definitely the climb to the tip of the iceberg for sure,, ateez got to see some of her deepest traumas -- but I don't even think we've hit the tip of the iceberg yet ;) bug's past has only been hinted at so far and soon we will see the depth of it

the protectiveness ALWAYS hits for me xD I love it when characters act purely on instinct and that instinct says to PROTECT,, it makes me weak in the knees <3

also san picking up bug's language so naturally and instinctually signing it to his partners is the CUTEST thing <3

yun bringing bug out of the dark even though it's been like a decade since they were together was a HUGE moment for them :"D he was so unsure he'd still have that effect on her but she recognized him instantly <33 also I love the size difference too <3 makes me AASDIOHAF#%#!

I think honestly part of the reason bug opened up so well after her attack was BECAUSE there was no pain to bring her out of it,, she recognized that ateez had no intentions to harm her and it helped her recover just that much more :')

they so would take so many pictures of bug if she were comfortable with it and bug ABSOLUTELY would take on of the photos of all of them and carefully keep it folded in one of her pockets or buried in one of her scabbards so it was always with her,, it would get so folded and aged and one day ateez would find it and MELT with joy that she kept it so close to her for so long,, and they would definitely manage to recreate the picture or something so she could have another copy that wasn't so worn down :")

AND she so would NEVER let anyone take that picture from her omg,, feral bug would come out fr xD

hehe bug's name absolutely was deliberate to have the word 'home' in it,, just like joong's <3 san might not have known that yet but it still makes me happy that it's part of her name even if he hadn't known <3

Can I speak about nudity?

Oke listen I love nudity itself and using it as a metaphor or symbol for vulnerability, but whenever it comes to that I am scared it will be seen as porn or it will be sexualised (ofc it will happen I cannot change the fact people are like this) but pleaaase also see beyond it!

Maybe it's because of my sexuality but sexuality itself is like the second or third things that comes to my mind when it comes to nudity. EVEN in an act itself you can interpret as sexual.

But it's more about equality, playing with "power dynamics" (I don't know if it's the right word for it), showing vulnerability, being honest with each other. There was one situation when I drew such a scene (idk which one) and posted it on my darlings and mine server and they said: "Oh wow kinda explicit. You are down bad"

And I need a moment to realise the situation that many.... Would it interpret it differently than I do. The act itself is not the important thing for me, but the thing beyond it (listen i cannot explain it really well, I don't wanna repeat myself, maybe I am just thinking differently about sex, because of my asex).

Mammon and Salome: Declaring a mutual agreement, where Salome determines everything and has the control. It's necessary but pleasure is not the main point.

Satan and Salome: Playing with each other, roughing each other up, playing with boundaries, with communication, who takes control, who lets them control. It's like learning each other, trusting each other, COMMUNICATING with each other.

Florence and Alfons: Being weak, showing their vulnerability even in front of a person they despise and try not to care for, but they are curious, they want to learn and they just want to feel good and maybe they learn some similarities. But there is still a distance.

Why am I thinking about it?

Oke I thought about it because I thought about Florence (who else lol) and there is like a picture in my mind I want to draw really badly, it's like a scene of how she is in a pond, just having a white nightgown on. She is cold, she is wet, her clothing is transparent and there is nothing she can hide anymore, but she feels relaxed. Free. But it could be disturbed at any second when someone is catching her. Then the innocent scene is ruined by the gaze of a predator, lusting for flesh and blood.

BUT HEAR ME OUT!

For me the most romantic, the most like... I cannot even describe it it's a deep feeling in my heart... I would say the most beautiful a person can be, is when, for example in Florence case, she is there in this pond, white gown wet with the pond water, nothing to hide just a body laying there, and the person is just there. There are no thoughts how she looks, what "thoughts", what desires it can bring up. Because it's not a scene made for desire. Don't you dare to make it about you. But just... He is there watching, smiling at her peaceful look, admiring the folds on her clothing, how it seems to look like her skin, like a part of her, her hair floating and everything is highlighted by the shine of the moon. He kneels next to her, keeping her distance, whispering to her. "You seem to enjoy yourself." "Aren't you cold?" "Today the night seems to be extra bright."

Just casually talking, seeing HER and not just a body. She feels strange. Are men not mindless beasts, hungry for blood and saliva? Should she provoke it even more? Hurting herself to prove a point? Lifting herself up she looks at him, stretching out her arms to hug him. Would he be mad? Would he try something? But still nothing. His arms are relaxed, one of his hands stroking softly over her head. How very strange. Are you not human? She feels weird. A wind of security, even though she is completely wet she pulled herself closer to him, her skin meeting his clothes. He asks. And Florence just nods, feeling his touch on her thigh and on her back as he lifts her up. Snuggling deeper on him, she feels his warmth on her body. And nothing of it, neither the closeness, nor his touch, gives her a feeling of disgust. She can be her. And she smiles, because he sees her behind this body of flesh, blood and bones.

(Btw about the Florence picture in my mind I must think about this statue AND HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS IS I WANT TO DRAW SUCH FOLDSSSS AHHHH)

hi just wanted to pop in to say I LOVE the merman designs you made! So cool looking, I was wondering where you got the ideas for them?? Like the skull masks and all! I would've never thought of that for a merperson, its such an unique take! Hope you have a nice day!

Those two characters are Sea serpents, and I figured mermay was a good excuse to try and design their more non-human form. (Although I didn't go and make the full on dragonic one, but they use it rarely at this point anyway lol) Tho I doubt the skull thing is super unique, I'm sure others have used it too at some point.

As for where the idea came from, well, since the boys are Sea Serpents as said, I figured I needed something in their designs to symbolize that, show that they aren't just your average merfolk. The dragon skull mask was pretty much the first idea that came to mind for me. OFC they also have more of a snake tail too, but felt like that wasn't enough to represent their true nature.

Now, Laurent has 2 designs, because I kinda just wanted to give him a more humanoid one too (I can explain it with in-story lore that Big Boys like him have two, unlike more average sized Sea Serpents, such as his cousin Caelan lmao).

For that design, I basically reached into the Horror part of my brain for ideas. It did come out pretty spooky, just like how I like it. I did feel like his tailfin is a bit large for the humanoid form, but then again maybe it sells the whole "not of this world" idea even better, because the tail is a bit inconvenient on land, but very useful in water. It's...admittedly my favorite design out of all 3, because I love me some spoopy vibes. (I also decided to remove his big merman ears for this form, because tbh they looked goofy with it and kinda diminished the spooky vibes.)
