i was thinking about how and why i am fish so i’m gonna make a list to refer back to later

1. pisces

2. heavy marine biology / dolphin phase of course

3. mermaid phase of course (with swimmable tails 😎 my new one is on the way)

4. my name (the correct spelling) is very rare and the only meaning i found was indian and meant “star of the sea / river” etc

5. i take multiple hour long baths at least weekly (gotta steep (stoop?) to keep sane yknow)

6. as a kid i would put goggles on, dive in the shallow parts of the lake (for up to 2-3 mins at a time) and come up for one gasp of air and go back down to look at cool rocks. i would do this for hours straight with no breaks (and the beach curls were immaculate dude lake water makes my hair so pretty 😭)

7. every time we are at my grandparents house each day we either a) go to hot springs b) go to different hot springs or c) go to lake- i grew up in the water

8. i dream about oceans (and i never dream)

9. every time i watch My Octopus Teacher i cry

10. all i watched as a kid was dolphin tale one and two

11. i took fish oil for like… 9 years of my life (starting them again, hopefully i feel more fishy)

my mermaid tail is coming in and i’m rly rly excited for young girls to think i am a creature when i swim in the lake 🥹

i’m so excited to do tricks and hear young girls giggle at it 😭

i’m so excited to get out of this land-locked freaking province!!!!!
