thinking about wayne and eddie going on an annual fishing trip (like thee Munson Men Annual Fishing Trip™️) just like a little weekend away. and the first one is coming up after eddie and steve starts dating. over breakfast eddie jokingly complains about having to go and tries to get out of it. but wayne is used to his dramatics so he just gives hmms when appropriate because eddie’s whole spiel never got him out of it before and he tells eddie that.

steve watches the whole exchange with amusement when wayne asks if he’s looking forward to it. and he’s like ??? because he assumed it was just a wayne and eddie thing. and wayne is like i just told eddie all munsons must go can’t get out of it kid.

steve gets flustered and is internally is like oh??? all munsons,,,

or like after the trip a neighbor asks wayne if they caught anything and he pulls out his wallet to show a picture they took on the trip. wayne passes it with ‘here’s a picture of my boys’ and to steve’s surprise it’s a picture of both him and eddie with their biggest catch.

and just idk wayne casually accepting steve into their family and throwing steve off guard with it.

Y'know what would be really funny? If each of the Flynn Fletcher siblings KNOW/have suspicions about Perry's secret, but they each keep it to themselves for individual reasons. It's been pointed out before that Perry can get REALLY reckless sometimes, and other times the boys are too clever/know Perry way too well.

-CANDACE has actually seen and interacted with Perry in secret agent mode, particularly during the time she thought she was high off her rocker and Perry had to save her from a self destructing volcano. She's had dreams where Perry was a secret agent in them.

-She doesn't bring it up or think about it much bc she just has like. A lot of other more pressing priorities most of the time, which is so valid. Also I lowkey thinks she suspects she's got a hallucination problem, like with the Zebra? I get why she doesn't talk about it out loud: she sounds crazy enough to her mother as is without suddenly talking about how their exotic pet is a sentient secret agent in a fedora.

-FERB figured it out almost immediately that day he and Phineas accidentally fell into Perry's lair and they pretended to be "secret agents" for the day. HE knows he didnt make that lair. Everything was almost toddler sized, but functionally and professionally equipped for a working adult. There were only two "P" s in the family, and it clearly wasn't Phineas. Also? Everything was Platypus themed. He put two and two together.

-I figure he doesn't talk about it bc he lowkey knows why Perry doesn't tell them. He and Phineas have a lot of faith in Perry, and Ferb is a lot less emotional. If Perry refuses to tell them about his double life and where he goes, hes just gonna trust him.

-Im pretty sure PHINEAS subconsciously knows about the secret agent thing. From where? Africa. He 💯 spotted Perry in secret agent mode on the other side of the gulf while hanging from that vine, and between his siblings Phineas is CLEARLY the one who knows what Perry looks like best. He can pick Perry out from colour and smell from every other brown eyed teal platypus in the entire tri-state area. He not only recognizes his paw prints: he knows Perry's healthy weight distribution on them to know whether or not hes injured or limping. Like....my boy can be oblivious and autistic 98% of the time, but Phin is also REALLY self aware and trusting of his own eyes and instincts.

-He doesn't talk about it because hes in denial 👍

One day, Cody and Obi-Wan need to know something regarding Coruscant, and Obi-Wan suggests that they ask Fox about it.

"I can send him a message", Cody says. "He can answer it when he wakes up."

"Oh, right", Obi-Wan says. "It is night on Coruscant, isn't it?"

"Yes", Cody says. "It's currently 3.27 there, I have the planet's current time on my comlink, so I can say good-night to Fox and make sure he goes to sleep."

Obi-Wan smiles a bit. "That's very sweet", he says.

"I have to do it", Cody says. "Fox is not sleeping enough, it is affecting his health, so I need to remind him to go to sleep-"

Cody's comlink beeps. Fox has sent him a message back with an answer.

Obi-Wan can sense how the room they are in cools.

"I'm sure he just has a lot of work to do today", he says, trying to calm Cody down. "Guarding the Chancellor is a lot of work, you know?"

Cody turns to look out of the ship's window, and he stares very intently to somewhere into space.

"Yes", he mutters. "I know."

Fox is very tired and both of his hands are cramping.

He ignores both of those things and continues on, because the Chancellor wants to work done before the morning shift.

His comlink beeps, a message requesting some information. Fox looks up the right files and sends them over, before picking his stylus back up.

He gets through three more forms when his mind catches up with his body. He pauses, and then, slowly, opens his messages.

Oh. It was Cody asking.

Fox looks at the time. 3.36 AM.

He closes the messages, and picks the stylus back up.

Cody is in the Outer Rim right now. Fox can do nothing but wait to meet his fate.

In the meanwhile, he still, unfortunately, has work to do.

There is a distant twist in the Force. Something like a warning.

He regards it for a moment, and then turns on his other side and continues sleeping. Whatever it was, it was so distant that it is not going to do anything tonight, and he has only gotten 6 out of his nine hours of sleep so far.)
