Today is the 31st of December.

I had been helping Victor make preparations for the countdown party since this morning.

However, Jude suddenly appeared in the kitchen.

“Have you forgotten that you owe me for saving your life yesterday? I will have you pay me back in labor.” …….. Then, he kidnapped me.

(I’m grateful to Jude for saving me from almost getting shot last night. He saved my life)

Kate: It must be hard for Victor to prepare alone…..

finally finishing my stp 100% run, just so i could have it for a bit before pristine cut. i got everything but strange endings beget strange beginnings, and im at 99% right now. but i had an extra chapter and thought that apotheosis would be fitting for my final run for now

One part of my job, working with the elderly, that I don't think I'm ever going to get used to (and I think I hope I never do?): calling a client to find out what the plan is for their next court appearance/to get updates, and having a family member answer and apologize to me for not letting me know sooner that my client had a massive medical event and is in a hospital on life support/not likely to survive much longer.

A) I am so sorry to them. I know what that feels like.

B) Please do not apologize to me. You are under so much stress and in emotional distress. It is not a problem that your family member's caseworker is the bottom of your priorities to contact. In fact, if I were higher up the list I would be concerned.
