“Fyp” we don’t do that here. I mean, Tumblr the app and website tries, but we don't do that here.
“But then how will anyone see it?” peer review.
“How do you get engagement?” by talking and engaging with other people. Or making a devastating typo. Either way.
“But—” Listen, you’re not doing solo stand up anymore. This is a group improv class being held in a SAW dungeon. Good luck.

if you're still young you haven't experience how weird time is. you probably have heard how millenials still think 1980 is 20 years ago, and you know it can't be mathematically true, but you feel it inside.
sometimes you categorize something as 'new' in your mind and it stays like that forever.
example: for me, Minecraft just came out. even though the first time i played it, it was a game you could play on a browser, online, without an account. like, you went to the minecraft website, there was a tiny window, and there you could play. i remember how revolutionary it was, how the style and gameplay completely swept the gaming news.
and i simply can't compute when people say 'oh yeah i played minecraft when i was in elementary school, i'm super nostalgic'. what do you mean, nostalgic, that game just came out. i was an adult when it came out. so it must have happened super recently.
we laugh at older generations who can't keep up with technology, but now i understand. for them, it's all new, you won't even know if it'll last.
things that in my brain, are recent: netflix, instagram, the lord of the rings movies, 9/11, the princess and the frog movie, just to name a few. some of them had the time to grow and die: dvds, vine, ipads, myspace. all recent to me.
i think people focus too much on deciding if growing old is good or bad, and not enough on how weird it is.

The company budsies, which specializes in making custom stuffed animals and making duplicates of old or lost plushies, is currently offering to recreate the beloved stuffed animal of any kid who lost theirs in the LA wildfire, free of charge.
Their instagram post said to share this, so please spread this around so that families who've lost everything can receive just a little bit more hope in their lives 🥺
