Ravenwood Redux | HeadlessQuarters

"It's Grim's office. He works here. While his personal crow should always be the employee of the month, Grim has decided he is the best at his job. He does own the place…and has been Reaping for centuries. Now Grim has opened up his practice to new Grimterns, eager to climb their way up the noncorporeal ladder."

This is my first EA redux since they started working with creators on their lots, and honestly, there wasn't really anything to "fix" — I've just added a lot more storytelling clutter and made a few functional and aesthetic tweaks...

The Grimterns might never see power as employee of the month, but they've banded together to coerce Grim into making a few improvements: better computers, better lighting, more freedom to personalize their workstations, a utility closet for, um... utilities, better snacks in the break room, and even a mini fridge downstairs for easier access to beverages. Things are still feeling a bit stuffy upstairs, which is a shame because Grim has insisted on relocating the entire library to the second floor, which means more face time with you-know-who whenever you need to research an assignment.

vibrant lakeside apartment.

yet another hale was in need of a new home, so I decorated an apartment for her~ this one is very vibrant (indie loves her bright colours) and I may be a little obsessed with it. furnished for 2 young adult friends, but as always you can obviously do whatever you please with it if you download.

this is a renovation of a building already in queenstown, I just changed it up a bit. full credit to awesims for the building overall.

I wanted to recreate the botanical gardens in Tomarang because although it was pretty, there wasn't really anything to do there so on this renovation I added a community garden, a special place for the spirit house, a place to grill and eat and a market area :)

I don't know what happened here… I kind of hate how this turned out? The original roof is uniquely ugly, so naturally I left it the same. Then this ivy thing happened, sort of on its own? I don't like it, but I can't come up with anything better. It doesn't even make sense for this family, not one of them is interested in nature. But when I rerolled LTWs, Lisa rolled to become an eco guru, so I figured that somewhat justifies it? There is this triangle theme in the interior, again, for no reason. I noticed it accidentally and went with it all over.

Unlike with Delarosa or Tinkers, I had no concept of this family in my head. They are so meh, maxis didn't give them any story or personality, and I wasn't inspired.

OK, that's enough yapping. The floorplan is under the cut.

I gave them both a Family secondary, so the house has an extra (empty) bedroom and an unfinished nursery.
