Daily Bread, Britomart
Drinks pictured: Iced oat latte ($6.5), iced Americano, bottle orange juice.
This was my first time at that specific location and it's a much larger space than I expected. They have mostly indoor seats and some outdoor seats too. They have a breakfast/brunch menu, or you can order from the cabinet. They use beans from Coffee Supreme and have the usual cafe drinks, but they also sell pre-bottled iced coffee.

D.O.S.E. on High, Auckland CBD
Drinks pictured: Biscoff oat cold brew ($9), strawberry and bay leaf coffee milk punch tonic.
Some pics from D.O.S.E. from December: They have a mostly black interior and I didn't realise how underexposed my photos were until I got home. 😂 Had a pour over in July when I went here for the first time. I have yet to try a flat white there (which is usually the drink I order when I go to a cafe for the first time) so I'm definitely gonna go back for my basic coffee someday!

Kompass Coffee, Auckland CBD
Drinks pictured: Oat matcha latte ($7.8) and coconut matcha latte.
I haven't had a lot of matcha in Auckland but my favourite so far is from Kompass Coffee in the CBD. It was my second time having a matcha there. I had an oat matcha latte, and my friend had a coconut matcha latte. They give you the option to have it sweetened, slightly sweetened, or not sweetened. We had ours not sweetened, but the matcha still had a lovely sweetness to it! They also do hojicha and sesame lattes at Kompass Coffee, and a whole bunch of other specialty drinks. They are located right outside the Auckland Art Gallery so it's a great place to stop by before/after a gallery visit!

Atelier Shu, Newmarket
Drinks pictured: Purple yam latte and iced americano ($7).
Went to Atelier Shu for the first time a few weeks ago. It was quite hot so I just had an iced americano while my friend had a purple yam latte. They do a variety of drinks and dessert/pastries and have seating indoors and outdoors.

Domain & Ayr, Parnell
Drinks pictured: Oat piccolo ($6), iced americano ($6.5) and iced chocolate ($6.5).
Went back to Domain & Ayr in Parnell after a long time. Actually ended up going twice within a week. Had an oat milk piccolo the first time and an iced americano the second time. Both were good! They use beans from Kokako Coffee Roasters. There have mostly seats indoors with a few benches outside as well!

Rhu, Parnell
Drink pictured: Oat flat white ($7.5).
Visited the newly opened Rhu in Parnell. They use beans from Havana Coffee Roasters, and I really enjoyed my oat flat white! They only have indoor seating and the place was packed so we only got bar seats - would recommend booking if you can.

These arrived a couple of days ago. Just started the Holiday blend today. Always enjoy trying different roasteries' summer blends!

Holiday, Mount Eden
Drink pictured: Oat flat white ($7)
After passing by Holiday on the bus for over a year, I finally made it there! It's a pretty minimal space with a small menu. They do coffee and some cabinet food, and only have takeaway cups on the weekend. It was busy when I was there on Saturday. They have two long seats inside and two small benches outside.

Folletto Cafe, Auckland CBD
Drinks pictured: Iced americano ($4.5) and iced caramel macchiato.
Visited the newly opened Folletto Cafe in the CBD. They have a robot barista that makes all the regular espresso based drinks! It can do hot drinks, and iced drinks, as well as some iced non-coffee drinks! They didn't have an option for alternative milk drinks made by the robot barista so I had a strong iced americano, while my friend had the iced caramel macchiato (the Starbucks type). They do have a human barista who can make drinks from the specialty drinks menu, and they use beans from Bricks Roastery. They also have a selfie studio in there, and Folletto has another location on K Road also!

Beanee Eatery, Remuera
Drink pictured: Oat flat white.
Happy New Year!
Went to Beanee Eatery in Remuera a few weeks ago. They use beans from L'Affare, and I really enjoyed my flat white. They mostly have indoor seating, with a few tables outside, and they also offer free wifi!

Folds Patisserie, Mount Eden
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white, hot chocolate, iced oat matcha latte, iced oat dirty matcha latte, iced almond lychee matcha latte.
Been to Folds Patisserie quite a few times over the last few months, as I live quite close by! They use beans from Ozone Coffee Roasters, and matcha from Thea Matcha. I've had both coffee and matcha there, and recently I tried an iced dirty matcha latte for the first time! They do a bunch of specialty drinks, and also really lovely pastries, and I'd like to go back there to try Hojicha sometime. They currently have a "12 days of Christmas" deal going with tomorrow being the last day!

Flight Coffee Black Friday Sale
Beans pictured: Sunshine blend ($18 for 250g).
Drinks pictured: Iced oat flat white ($22 for 4 cans), iced oat milk matcha latte ($22 for 4 cans).
Bought some stuff from the Flight Coffee Black Friday sale. Already tried the oat flat white and oat matcha latte cans, and really liked them, though the matcha tasted like it was sweetened. Will probably be using the Sunshine blend to make cold brew at home.

Slow Koi Kohi, Auckland CBD
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($6.3) and hot chocolate.
Visited the newly opened Slow Koi Kohi in the CBD. Their space is all black with some sleek office chairs and a peaceful fish swimming in the little aquarium. I had an oat flat white, and the cups they serve their coffee in were like little clay pots, and also black! They have a screen that you use to order your drink. They offer matcha, as well as pourovers and some other specialty drinks. I'd definitely like to go back to try their matcha one day! They are also open till 9pm on Friday and Saturday, which is quite rare for Auckland cafes. 🥹
