Folds Patisserie, Mount Eden
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white, hot chocolate, iced oat matcha latte, iced oat dirty matcha latte, iced almond lychee matcha latte.
Been to Folds Patisserie quite a few times over the last few months, as I live quite close by! They use beans from Ozone Coffee Roasters, and matcha from Thea Matcha. I've had both coffee and matcha there, and recently I tried an iced dirty matcha latte for the first time! They do a bunch of specialty drinks, and also really lovely pastries, and I'd like to go back there to try Hojicha sometime. They currently have a "12 days of Christmas" deal going with tomorrow being the last day!

Flight Coffee Black Friday Sale
Beans pictured: Sunshine blend ($18 for 250g).
Drinks pictured: Iced oat flat white ($22 for 4 cans), iced oat milk matcha latte ($22 for 4 cans).
Bought some stuff from the Flight Coffee Black Friday sale. Already tried the oat flat white and oat matcha latte cans, and really liked them, though the matcha tasted like it was sweetened. Will probably be using the Sunshine blend to make cold brew at home.

Slow Koi Kohi, Auckland CBD
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($6.3) and hot chocolate.
Visited the newly opened Slow Koi Kohi in the CBD. Their space is all black with some sleek office chairs and a peaceful fish swimming in the little aquarium. I had an oat flat white, and the cups they serve their coffee in were like little clay pots, and also black! They have a screen that you use to order your drink. They offer matcha, as well as pourovers and some other specialty drinks. I'd definitely like to go back to try their matcha one day! They are also open till 9pm on Friday and Saturday, which is quite rare for Auckland cafes. 🥹

Young Dandy, Parnell
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($6.5) and hot chocolate ($5.5).
Visited Young Dandy in Parnell a few weeks ago. It's a spacious cafe with mostly indoor seats and a couple of outdoor seats. They use Ozone Coffee beans, and also do pourovers! I don't go to Parnell too often so I am glad to have finally made it to Young Dandy, and it might be one of my favourites there!

Tob Coffee Roasters, Rosedale
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($5.5) and hot chocolate ($5).
Finally visited Tob Coffee in Rosedale after having a bunch of people recommend it to me, and it did not disappoint! They use their own beans, and also sell a variety of beans and coffee pods as well. It's not really a brunch place, more for coffee and pastries, and I also really liked their woody interiors.

Capers Cafe & Store, Rotorua
Drinks pictured: Almond flat white and hot chocolate.
The other cafe stop in Rotorua was Capers Cafe & Store, where I have been a few times before. They have their own blend roasted by Organico. I had an almond flat white there. The cafe is large and was quite busy, and they have a pantry section as well. I quite liked that the barista had their own little section to work in and they had this pipe/tap for dispensing the regular milk, so they wouldn't need to keep picking up and pouring milk out of the bottles.

Mr. Wolf, Rotorua
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($5.5) and hot chocolate ($5).
Was in Rotorua a week ago and tried two cafes there. One if them was Mr. Wolf, which was opened in the winter by the same people who run Okere Falls Store. I had been to Okere Falls Store in 2021 and now they have their own beans which are also used at Mr. Wolf! Mr. Wolf is in Rotorua CBD by the i-Site. It's quite a spacious cafe, and I liked their green tiles that they have at the counter!

The General, Epsom
Drink pictured: Medium oat flat white ($6)
Went to The General in Epsom a week ago. They use beans from Allpress Espresso. It's a pretty spacious place, and they mainly do coffee and cabinet items. They are more of a general store so they sell other panty items as well. I really liked their interior decor, especially in the Nursery section where we were sitting!

Mor Bakery, Remuera
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white and espresso
Food pictured: Double chocolate halva cookie.
Went to Mor Bakery in Remuera last weekend. They use beans from Coffee Supreme and do a whole bunch of baked goods. It's a really small cafe, with some indoor and a couple of outdoor seats. I really like the cute little cup that my friend got her espresso in!

Coffee Supreme
Beans pictured: Colombia Rio Chiquito and Kenya Gathugu (both $21.5 for 250g)
Sometimes I get lazy and don't want to grind my beans so I buy one of my coffee bags pre-ground.

The Candyshop, Newmarket
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($5.5) and pistachio chocolate cream latte ($9
Went to The Candyshop a couple of weeks ago. They have reduced prices on their coffees for the month of October, which we can all appreciate, so the next couple of weeks are definitely a good time to visit if you've been wanting to go there for a while!

Blackdrop Eatery, Newmarket
Drink pictured: Oat flat white ($6.5)
Went back to Blackdrop Eatery in Newmarket on Saturday. I was last there a year ago, but I think I wasn't drinking oat milk flatties back then. They use beans from Bespecialty Coffee Roasters, and are a small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. I also saw a whole bunch of people get iced matcha lattes which looked really delicious and green, so I might have to try one myself the next time I go there!

Went to Kohi Beach Eatery for the first time last weekend. They were veeery busy. I had an oat flat white. They have their own blend roasted for them by Eighthirty, which I really liked. They also have a store next to the Eatery which sells food for takeaway. They have indoors and outdoor (covered) seating and you can get a view of the beach from the cafe!

Slow Coffee Roasters
Price: $24 for each 250g bag.
After trying beans from Slow Coffee at D.O.SE. I decided to order some for home also! I got the Colombian Alben Santana (notes of 🍏 and 🍋) and the Ethiopian Sidamo (notes of blackberry and plum, and slightly darker than what I usually drink for filter)!
