Gw buka kartu nih ya kenapa namanya Andhika Verhoeven. Namanya campuran dua artis Indonesia keturunan Belanda: Andhika Pratama dan Paula Verhoeven. Btw gw gak ngidolain artis, cuma kebetulan aja dapet inspirasi pas lagi googling.

Struktur mukanya diambil dari pesepakbola keturunan Belanda Irfan Bachdim... yang udah nyetak 2 gol pas di Liga 2 tahun 2021 itu. Tapi malah kagak mirip ujung-ujungnya. Apa karena didempul tebel ama makeup hitam gothic.. jatuhnya malah kayak Pesulap Merah.

Karena keturunan Belanda jadi namanya jelas gw rubah jadi Andhika Verhoeven dan rasnya lebih kebule-bulean. Bukan Tionghoa kayak digambarkan di film and TV seriesnya ya, itumah karena faktor aktornya yang siap meranin perannya adanya etnis itu, alias susah cari aktor bagus yang kebetulan etnisnya Indonesia-Belanda.

TREASURED TRADITION #2: True Islander (Public 20 May)

This is my love letter to the Island Living pack and my country’s diverse culture. They are not modest, but I felt like, “I need to do something” about the costume choice for Sulani people. So, I’m using my country’s culture and history to create this collection. I wanted to make some of the Papuan culture, but I’m not ready to touch on it for now. Who knows? Maybe I would come back with this idea next time for the theme.

Anyways, I’m just thinking this out loud. Am I the only one who thinks that the people who live closer to the nature are the ones that would be the last to survive on earth?

Where do I get all the ideas for my builds?

1. Travel

Be it vacations or occasional business trips, I always come accross minimalist buildings that has their own charm to it.

2. Where I Live

I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. Minimalist buildings are pretty much everywhere, and people here seems to draw architectural inspiration pretty from everywhere accross the world.

No I’m not an architect. But lots of people I know in my circle are. Let’s just say I work within the property industry.

Fact 3

All the builds I make has its layout checked by an architect 🤣. This person usually will give me advices or corrections, to make the space more liveable and realistic.

inZOI demo - It's awesome!

This demo blows TS4's CAS Demo clear out the water, it's not even close (my rants: X X).

Overall, I'd give inZOI a 9/10 for girls, 8.5/10 for guys (cuz they get way less options, as usual).

What immediately struck me's that the UI is finnicky AF. The screen text on the UI' s so dang faint that I was squinting the whole time, unable to really SEE where the buttons were.

[EDIT 8/23/24] I'm watching someone try the demo on Youtube and I feel dumb--you CAN change the color of the default background! Thank goodness! (We should be allowed to change the color of the text too, though.)

The color wheel needs the preset/copy ability The Sims has, so I'm not always inputting the same colors for every CAZ part. For some reason it does NOT like 000000 (black) as a color input for accessories, which is annoying.

But the GRAPHICS QUALITY, zomg.

(I tried to give Sakura pointed elf ears, lol.) We need more sliders on the zois' faces & body, but they're off to a GREAT start.)

The zois are absolutely stunning--these are the graphics I was praying for when TS4 was first announced, not that playdough garbage EA barfed up.

This aesthetic gives me HEAVY Cyberpunk2077 vibes, especially when the nail selector popped up--I love it.

(We just need TATTOOS & facial piercings!)

The hairs are ok--I LOVE that you can change the length--but it's only on SOME of the hairs, not all. Definitely need more variation & texture diversity--even EA had more braids, fros, dreads, curls, etc.

The clothes, shoes & ACCs options are modern, and some are VERY stylish, but kinda plain IMO (esp. the shoes, ick). My fave bottoms are the ninja-esque pants, which is why Sakuryuu are both wearing them--I was hoping for WAY more traditional Asian representation in the fashion department, wtf. U_U The textures are lovely--I love the shiny metallics. (We need some sheers though.) I want more shiny sequins & leather textures on the clothes--I need that the sequin jacket IRL.

The makeup's my favorite part--the eyes have soooo many options--you KNOW I had to give Ryuu slit eyes like a dragon/snake!

And I gave Sakura glitter & highlights. They just need to let us stack multiple makeup & jewellery, and we'll be gravy.

I expect/hope there'll be more options in the full release--this IS just a demo.

As for the cities, apparently the 3 worlds we're getting are Korea, Indonesia, & California--Pacific coasts, makes sense. They're locked off for the demo, but at least we got to see the map.

(As soon as I saw Indonesia I knew I had to go right back in and make my husband, Magnus Bane~!)

My laptop's nothing to write home about, but it ran super quiet while the demo was running (it definitely runs better than my Steam Deck, which was running kinda choppy). So here's hoping it doesn't effing COMBUST when I start sending zois into the city come full release.

Editblr Community Survey ~ Results (Part 1)

hello, everyone! we made this little survey for fun a couple weeks ago and oh boy, we were not expecting 102 results! thank you all for participating. we're going to split these posts into parts based on the sections of the survey, so keep an eye for the rest of them. we'll link them all here:

we've got a bunch of data to share, so we'll put it all under the cut.

the first question we asked (after name/url lol) was what age everyone is! we were pretty curious what the distribution of age was in the community. we originally didn't include a "prefer not to say" option, so sorry about that, but we did redo the percentages to include the custom answers of that. the most common age for the community is 15, at 13.9% of the participants. the least common is 20, at 4%! funnily enough, we're 20 lmao. shout out to the other 20 year old editors. the distribution of minors:adults in the community is about 2:1, with 60.5% of editors being under 18 and 30.7% over 18.

in hindsight, we should have just put the continents rather than specific countries, but hey, it was fun learning where everyone is from! we're from the boring uk. to the surprise of no one, the most common place editors are from is the united states (at 54%). the least common of the ones we listed are india and germany (both at 1%). other custom countries that only make up 1% are poland, new zealand, panama, and france! the most common custom result were the philippines (at 3%), and mexico and new zealand (both at 2%). shout out to everyone from countries we didn't include! fun fact, we completely forgot oceania existed lmao. we are far from perfect.

Namanya bepergian lintas pulau, Sangatta termasuk daerah yang paling sering kudatangi. Bukan... Bukan karena ada gunung atau pantai pasir putih pun destinasi alam lainnya seperti air terjun yang menjulang tinggi. Semua itu tak ada. Bahkan sampai saat tulisan ini kubuat masih bingung di Sangatta tu bisa main ke mana yaa 😅. The only one reason is ada banyak keluarga di sana. Ada 3 orang adeknya mama yang merantau dan berkeluarga di sana, banyak sepupu dan sekampungnya mama. Pada intinya termasuk sasaran rantauan para pencari nafkah karena di sana ada tambang batu bara.

Menurutku area rekreasi di sana suatu kebutuhan. Namanya orang kerja di tambang yaaa tekanan kerja lumayan tinggi. Ada sih sebenarnya tempat seru di sana, sebatas taman. Jadi kaya ada taman bintang, taman matahari, pokoknya tema tata surya. Buat nongki-nongki aja yang kalau sering dipake tanpa di rawat yaaaahh. Pernah diajak sama Om dan spupuku ke pantai. Sampai sana yaa ampun pantainyaaa 😅😅😅 apa mungkin limbah perusahaan sampai segitunya. Sejak saat itu gak mau lagi di ajak-ajak ke pantai mending kulineran, jajan sore-sore. Lumayan kok makanannya enak-enak.

So... I wanna talk about how to get there. Biasanya naik kapal dari Pare-Pare ke Samarinda atau Bontang lanjut naik mobil. Tapi kali ini jalurnya beda. Saya berangkat dari Tarakan karena waktu itu lagi Solo travelling ke Sebatik (Perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia) pas mau pulang di telpon sama tante disuruh lanjut ke Sangatta. "Ika... Temani kakakmu lahiran di sana" karena masih ada waktu libur cusss lah ke sana.

Di Tarakan ini kan banyak keluarga mama juga, pas tau saya mau ke Sangatta. Ya ampun tadinya outfit udah kece, barang bawaannya cuma 1 ransel sambil nenteng gopro. Eh tapi keluarga di Tarakan titipannya banyak cuyyy. Akhirnya saya jalan dengan beberapa karung ikan, udang, kepiting, milo, daaann banyak lagi tentengan lainnya. Serasa perantau lama yang baru mudik 😄.

Arahnya dari dermaga ambil tiket perahu ke Tanjung Selor (waktu tempuh kurang lebih 2 jam) dibumbui adegan perahu macet ditengah sungai terus klakson dibunyikan 3x di daerah tertentu, kata penumpang yang duduk di sebelahku yaaa memang begitu tiap kali lewat sana. Sebagai anak baru di jalur itu manggut-manggut aja. Dari Tanjung Selor tinggal ambil mobil ke Sangatta, di dermaga juga banyak buruh yang tawarin travel ke sana.

Jaraknya sekitar 450 km melewati Muarawahau dengan waktu tempuh 11-12 jam. Mobil berangkat sore Ba'da Ashar tiba di Sangatta pukul 04.00 subuh. Perjalanannya wuuihhh jangan ditanya lagi. SIM supir harusnya gak kaleng-kaleng, tanjakan turunan belokan ckckckc. Tantangan utamanya adalah jalanan berkabut, tebal pula kabutnya. Sampai gak bisa tidur loh pas tengah malam saking takutnya. Kebetulan saya duduk di tengah. Jantung sampai dagdigdug karena laju mobil kencang sekali. Dalam hati membatin, supir lewat mana sih. Atau sudah hapal tiap belokannya kan gsk mungkin. Jarak pandang pendek sekali, salah sedikit waduh bahaya.

Rumah penduduk juga jarang, mayoritas kanan kiri jalan hutan. Wuihhh ngeri euyyy. Hatiku baru lega saat mobil singgah di warung. Huufhhh Allah masih selamatkan. Sekitar 2-3 rombongan mobil penumpang singgah di sana, warungnya keciiill sekali, jendelanya cuma ditutupi kain. Daerah pedalaman, udaranya sangat sejuk tapi jalurnya bikin degdegan. Pas mobil jalan lagi tetap gak bisa tidur. Lewat sana ngantuk tu hilang. Mobil melaju kencang di kabut tebal.

Menjelang adzan subuh Alhamdulillah... Alhamdulillaaah sekali sudah tiba di rumah tante dengan segambreng tentengan. Huufhh perjalanan panjang yang menegangkan. Habis shalat subuh gak mikir apa-apa lagi langsung tidur saaampai siang. Memang tuh yang namanya tidur nyenyak cuma bisa pas pikiran dan hati lagi tenang. Pas bangun langsung kusamperin spupuku. Dia tengah bahagia menggendong anak pertamanya. Gak kerja apa-apa banyak keluarga yang bantu. Waktu dapat telpon disuruh ke Sangatta saya bingung juga mau bantu apa 😅, toh tante-tante yang berpengalaman banyak di sana. Yaaahh mungkin euforia calon nenek baru. Saya yang harusnya sudah pulang tetap di suruh ke sana. Yaahh kusempatkanlah ganti popok 1x hehehe sambil kupandang-pandangi bayi itu. Duhh nak demi ketemu kamu, bertaruh nyawa loh diperjalanan 😅.

Daripada bingung mau ngapain di Sangatta setelah ketemu keluarga, bikin acara, makan-makan. Sekalian kulanjutlah perjalananku ke Sangkulirang atau Sandaran. Yaaaakali meskipun mutar-mutar siapa tau dapat jalur sampai Berau 🤭.

Demak, Matapadma- Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Demak, Jawa Tengah, menggelar Operasi Patuh Candi 2024 mulai hari ini, Senin (15-7–2024).

Operasi Patuh Candi 2024 akan dilaksanakan selama 14 hari, yakni pada 15-28 Juli 2024 di wilayah hukum Polda Jawa Tengah.

Operasi tersebut diawali dengan Apel Gelar Pasukan yang diikuti TNI, Polri, Dishub, Satpol PP dan perwakilan Patroli Keamanan Sekolah (PKS) di Kabupaten Demak.

Dalam kegiatan tersebut dihadiri Bupati Demak, Dandim 0716 Demak, Kapolres Demak, Kajari Demak serta Pejabat Utama Polres Demak.

Bupati Demak Eisti’anah dalam kesempatan itu membacakan amanat Kapolda Jawa Tengah. Ia mengatakan, melalui Apel Gelar Pasukan ini diharapkan dapat menyatukan pemahaman untuk memaksimalkan pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh Candi 2024.

Jumlah pelanggaran lalulintas di wilayah Jawa Tengah dari tahun ke tahun semakin meningkat. Hal ini menunjukan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam ketertiban berlalu lintas.

“Banyaknya pelanggaran berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan, hal ini perlu adanya tindakan preemtif dan preventif dengan melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat. Selain itu, polisi juga akan melaksanakan penegakan hukum sebagai upaya terakhir dalam rangka meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat,” kata Bupati Eisti’anah.

Operasi ini, dikatakan Eisti’anah, dilaksanakan dengan tujuan menurunkan angka pelanggaran, kecelakaan lalulintas dan angka fatalitas korban lakalantas serta meningkatkan disiplin masyarakat dalam berlalu lintas.

“Pada Operasi Patuh ini, kita akan lebih mengedepankan pendekatan giat edukatif dan persuasif serta humanis didukung penegakan hukum secara elektronik, statis dan mobile,” ungkapnya.

Kapolres Demak AKBP Muhammad Purbaya menambahkan, sebelum melakukan penegakan hukum kepada masyarakat, pihaknya telah menggelar razia kepada anggota.

“Sebelum melakukan penegakan hukum keluar, kita laksanakan penertiban di internal terlebih dahulu. Dalam razia tersebut tidak ditemukan pelanggaran oleh anggota, baik kelengkapan kendaraan maupun surat lainnya,” kata AKBP Purbaya.

Diterangkannya, Ada 13 jenis pelanggaran yang menjadi fokus penindakan selama masa Operasi Patuh Candi 2024 di Kabupaten Demak.

Berikut daftar pelanggaran yang akan ditindak oleh petugas selama operasi pada 15-28 Juli 2024:

1. Kendaraan yang melawan arus jalan

2. Berkendara di bawah pengaruh alkohol

3. Menggunakan ponsel saat mengemudi

4. Tidak mengenakan helm standar nasional Indonesia (SNI)

5. Tidak menggunakan sabuk keselamatan

6. Pengendara yang melebihi batas kecepatan

7. Berkendara di bawah umur atau tidak memiliki Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM)

8. Berboncengan motor lebih dari satu orang

9. Kendaraan roda empat atau lebih tidak memenuhi laik jalan

10. Kendaraan tidak dilengkapi Surat Tanda Nomor Kendaraan (STNK)

11. Melanggar marka jalan

12. Memasang rotator dan sirine bukan peruntukan

13. Menggunakan pelat nomor atau Tanda Nomor Kendaraan Bermotor (TNKB) palsu.
