Well that honestly depends on what you guys want to learn more about or just see more often. I have a plethora of Aus and concepts crawling around in my brain like ants. I have a list if any body needs an idea as to what I could talk about.

I'm obsessed with Inscryption and AvM and had a terrible idea in mind: Animation vs Inscyption. Instead of Luke Carder, the Animator finds the game and thinks "ah my stick figures would like a virtual version of the card game!" not knowing what he's getting into at all

Please take these cobbled together thoughts for an AvInscryption AU? Story Idea? Who knows but take these anyways

Major Spoilers for Inscryption below the Read More!

CW: Implied Violence (its Inscryption, there's gonna be violence)

Whether or not the Animator finds the game before Luke does or if he just buys it off of Steam, here's how I think an Animation vs Inscryption crossover could go!

First up, it starts out with the stick figures messing around on the opening screen. Just kinda checking out the settings and general vibe of the game until one of them (Red) places the "Continue Game" card into the action slot.

From there the game starts with Red in the player's chair. The other sticks are there but they're more like disembodied voices in Red's ear. For one reason or the other, the Sticks are stuck in the game until it's either beaten or until someone on the outside shuts the game off. The game plays as normal but as always, Leshy doesn't make it easy for the Challenger, and Red loses to the Prospector. He's the first to get turned into a Death Card. 3 attack, 1 heart with prickly for 1 blood.

The world darkens and suddenly Blue's in the seat. They're able to free Stink Bug with the help of Stoat but they ultimately lose to the Angler. Their Death Card is 2 attack, 3 heart with the gift-bearing sigil for 4 bones.

Up next is Yellow. During their run, they're able to figure out most of the puzzles all the way up to getting the knife but they don't end up using it. Yellow actually does win against Leshy and they expect the game to end but to their, Orange, and Green's surprise, Yellow instead gets turned into a Winner's Card and gets hung on the door.

The game continues with Green up to bat. Whether its nerves or bad RNG, Green ends up using the knife in one of the battles. Cue Green gaining the Magic eye and freeing the Stunted Wolf, as well as gaining the film for the camera. But his luck runs out and Green loses to the Trapper and Trader. His Death Card reads, 3 attack, 2 heart with bifurcated strike with a cost of 3 blood.

Finally, Orange is the last challenger. With the film in hand and the knowledge from all the previous runs, they're not going down without a fight. And a fight it is. Orange makes it all the way to Leshy's fight and beats the old Scrybe. Using the film, Orange is able to take Leshy's photo and use it to inscrybe him into a card. Grabbing the "New Game" Card, the world goes white.

ENTER ACT 2:

Second wakes up in a strange pixelated world, their friends no where to be seen. But don't worry. They'll find them soon enough. And in the meantime, it looks like the Scrybes got some new helpers.

And that's literally all I got for now

I still haven't thought about how Act 3 is going to play out but MAN is this fun

Another Chloe Bourgeois au!

Chloe blinked awake and out of all the things she expected to see in her dreams.

She had never expected a table. 

Safe to say, she was confused. She knew that her room was a touch dimly lit, how else was she supposed to sleep after all? But that didn’t explain the appearance of furniture she never had on her bed.

Wait.

She isn’t in her bed.

Her fingers tried to grasp at her sheets, to try and push herself up but instead, all she held was the arm of a chair.

A look crossed her face, her once confused smile slipping at the sound of creaking of wood and she finally looked up.

Her blue eyes met ones of black in darkness and she froze. A buzz filled her ears the longer she stared and she could almost feel it smile.

“Another challenger..” it murmured, voice rough and raspy, as if it hadn’t been in used in ages. It reminded her of an old thing, finally awakened after so long. Those once human-like eyes turned into a swirl of orange with every word it spoke. “It has been ages, hasn’t it?” 

Chloe couldn’t speak. She tried too, but the words couldn’t tumble out of her mouth and she was left frozen in...

In what? she did not know.

It seems to tilt its head, those eyes of theirs looking normal once more. The more she looked, the more it reminded her of the ones of an everyday person. One she could’ve seen in the street and Chloe offhandedly wondered if she did.

Inhuman, a part of her hissed. Wrong.

“Perhaps you have forgotten how this game is played.” Chloe knew that if it had a hand, it would’ve gestured with it. “Allow me to remind you.”

A hissing filled the air and Chloe would’ve flinched if she could at the sudden smell of burnt wood reached her nose. Her face scrunched as four eight small boxes appeared, carved with orange in the table and stamped right in the middle seemed to be a...

pawprint? What kind of furry shi-

The sounds of flipping paper can be heard and Chloe glanced to the side to see two packs cards somehow floating down next to her.

She stared at it before looking back at swirls of orange.

It stared.

She stared a bit more, not knowing what to do.

The silence was awkward as hell.

Chloe tried to smile, it continued to watch. She had no idea if it was amused, or angry with how it looked at her. The longer those eyes stayed on her, the longer the thought of whether or not flipping the table was acceptable kept on popping up in her head.

Would it be polite? Absolutely not.

Was it fair? Absolutely yes.

She believed that it finally sunk in that she didn’t know what to do and it seemed to shake its head.

Chloe found that rather insulting. It wasn’t her fault she didn’t know of whatever card game her brain decided to make. In the back of her mind, she wondered why her brain decided to conjure up such an awkward scenario for the night. She’d rather stay with Veil and talk about random stuff than... whatever the hell this is.

“...You really don’t remember, do you?” Chloe just blankly stared, a look that says ‘No shit, sherlock,’ at its words. It somehow sighed at that before four cards suddenly flew in front of her, taken right out of the second pack.

In her hands, she held four cards with animals drawn on them. The first held the name of a squirrel, then one with a stout and the last two were wolves. She wondered why the otter looking animal held one blood drop while the dogs held two.

Did it mean something?

“Play the Squirrel,” it urged and Chloe followed, wondering where this is going. “Now play your stoat.”

As Chloe held it in her hand, she stilled from placing it down, as if incapable of doing so. When she tried, she could feel something wrap around her throat, barely a brush but Chloe understood the underlying meaning.

Wait your turn.

“Some cards costs blood, a sacrifice so to speak,” It informs and as she hovered her stoat card over the squirrel, Chloe couldn’t stop her eyes widening in wonder at the purple sign that appeared. “The stoat requires one sacrifice, I take it you know what to do?”

The squirrel card shook, as if aware of its fate and just as Chloe switched it out with the stoat. She watched as blood marks stained it for a moment before it burnt into nothing where not even ashes remained. 

“Wolves require two sacrifices. You do not have enough.” 

Something thunked onto the table and Chloe’s eyes caught the sight of an old bell, one you can press.

“Ring the bell to end your turn.. and commence combat.”

A scale came soon after, one seemingly made of brass. 

“You win if you tip my side all the way down.” Some kind of metal came onto their side with a sharp ding. “Damage dealt to me will be a weight added to my scale.” 

Blue against yellow and she knew that if it could smile, it would’ve.

“Do you wish to play?”

The bell rung in the end.

My current hyperfixations(MotU2021 and Inscryption) are bleeding into each other. Read my previous Inscryption post for a summary of my crappy sequel/AU idea. Also this is post Season 1 for MotU2021.

-Basically, after Grogal(and after The Student collects more cards including The Stinkbug(Grimora), and The Second Stoat(a brand new character made for this AU/sequel) and beats up the planet's resident darklords in the card game), The Student accidentally turns left at Abucurky(The Star Station was named as such by the Star Humans as an inside joke) and enters a hole in time space. One that goes to Eternia.

-There, they(all pronouns for my child) screw around and make the big mistake of using an Archfiend. Archfiends warp reality slightly to show off their power.

-The Snake Mountain gang get winds of this.

-The Student gets kidnapped and has to play tutorial man to a group of losers on power trips(Skeletor is the biggest and strongest, but, for whatever reason, he's merciful towards The Student. The real scariest is Kronis. Everyone else can play the game just fine, but Kronis cannot get the rules to stay in his head too long).

-The Stoat, The Stinkbug, and The Second Stoat are perpetually on the edge of losing their minds every time something goes wrong.

-Which is often.

-Like holy shit man. Skeletor keeps trying to steal the masks The Student puts on to try and enhance the experience, Evelyn always wants to summon an Archfiend, R'Qazz keeps sacrificing the animal cards, and Kronis is a trainwreck.

-I have no idea what else to do with this idea.

Balan Wonderworld is a bad modern game.

This kinda essay is exactly what it says on the tin. Balan Wonderworld is a bad modern game because of dated controls, a lack of non-book story, and the lack of ability to keep up the vibe. In the olden times of Platformers, this stuff would have been partially O.K. The controls wouldn't be dated, the story would have had some explanation of stuff(Fun Fact: The game is based on Broadway musicals. Did you know that until you saw a post on the subject? I didn't. The game only hints at this stuff.) and back then, games had to keep the vibe visible or else perish. The Cutscenes are a 10/10. Character design has *T H O S E* vibes

*slaps desk* Tell me what you like about Yatterman.

Yatterman is, from an outsider's perspective, batshit insane. It has such a simple looking premise(two superpower-less kids, their toy robot, and their mech robot go and fight a trio of bad guys with their own mech made for the episode and an unknown bad guy), but then you watch the episodes, and dear god. It's ridiculous, and oh no I've gotten attached to these many dumbasses(I'm looking at the Dorombo gang, as respectfully as I can at a bunch of idiots who look completely ridiculous and YatterKing, yatterking my beloved) and also, What The F*** just happened. Weird Inscryption AU/Sequel Ideas Part 1

-We start with a 'friendly' duel between The Student and The Teacher. The Student is featureless beyond wearing a hat and a cloak. The Teacher is a many eyed being with many arms and hands. The Teacher is the worst mix between Leshy and P03 personality-wise, but they still attempt to teach you the game.

-The game is changed slightly. There is still Blood, Bones, and Energy. The mechanics on energy have changed(drain the health of an animal/undead thing/another robot/rememory to summon a robot). The element that replaces Mox is Memory. Memory is a resource acquired turn by turn to be used when you call upon a rememory(basically a character card). There are multi-resource super cards that are divided into Archfiends and Archangels(They all speak! all other cards that can do this are seen as anomalies)

-Your starting deck is mainly blood based cards with only high bone/1 blood/3 memory cost card Kraken as an outlier. It also has your(the player's) old friend, The Stoat(there's another non-P03 Stoat later on).

-The Stoat's a curiosity to The Teacher. The Stoat does not think likewise. The Stoat is less abusive towards The Student compared to his/their/it's antics in the previous game. Kraken and The Stoat start bickering the second their ideas on how to play clash. Kraken loves The Student as a friend.

-After you win two direct battles against The Teacher, he basically forces you out with the excuse of 'see the world, fight better card players, get a better deck'(the real reason is that The Teacher is being 'fixed' and his personality will change and he doesn't want to be seen suffer).

-This is where Act 2 gameplay returns.

-please don't kill me. I have fun world building.

-In the White Spiral Galaxy, the card game is a hobby! A massive hobby, but a hobby none the less.

-The Student cannot fight. They need someone/something else to get them between settlements. The Stoat almost calls The Student a little bitch at one point(involving a trio of crappy raiders, a lich who loves the card game and is also a Darklord matching minds with you(5th return of Act 1 style), and one hell of an exit).

-There are 8 major planets in the White Spiral Galaxy.

-They are: Lero(the Green Planet), Grogal(the Desert Planet), Tormental(The Water Planet), Glisenglim(The Ice Planet), Gigantula(The Giant Jungle Planet), Tinkadink(The Fountain Mine Planet), Zeus(The Cloud Planet), and The Unnamed Planet(The New Planet).

Happy Nintendo Direct

Splatoon is one of my joys just b/c worldbuilding. Clothes and Weapon based Worldbuilding that ties into biology worldbuilding.

There is going to be a Splatoon 3. Ya’ll need to get ready b/c while 1990s throwback stuff is fine, I’m ALL here for the post-apoc type outfits. Maybe, Nintendo could make hybrid outfits where it’s both post-apocalypse and 1990s outfit, b/c that would be the best aesthetic.

Second stoat card au? 👀

Yeah! Second stoat card au!

Basic gist of it is, P03's partner tries to find P03 after he mysteriously goes missing. Searching over the isles, they stumble into Leshy's domain to see if he knew anything of P03's disappearance. Leshy challenges P03's partner to a card duel while they're there and they lose, which results in Leshy turning them into a card.

However, when this happens, P03's partner doesn't turn into death card. They turn into a stoat card. P03 finds them and once they wake up both of them realize who the other is and start to panic. Then they find the stink bug and stunted wolf and general chaos ensues afterward.

During this time, the reader is locked away like the other Scrybes are, keeping both P03 and the reader separated for a long time. (The separation part is actually really angsty.) Once they do reunite after being alone for so long, both parties are overjoyed to finally see the other alright (for the most part).

In the end, they defeat Leshy and manage to return home where they can live in peace for a while. Before the Great Transcendence that we all know and love./lh

Not even, I reread Love Like You and I’m With You In The Dark by S1lver_1nk on Ao3 last night. And I’m thinking about how protective the Challenger/reader would be of P03 after the whole card incident. (Not spoiling it entirely for those who haven’t read I’m With You In The Dark, please go read it, it’s amazing) And for anyone who’s wondering, yes, this did in fact inspire my Second Stoat Card Au.

24.Do you prefer AUs with the characters, or sticking to the original universe?

*Internal screaming of I love an au I can't even write*

I personally tend to stick with the original universe, but I do love writing about AUs. Namely my 'Second stoat card Au' loosely inspired by a fic, 'I'm with you in the dark' by S1lver_1nk on Ao3. (It's really good, I highly recommend it.) But yeah, I just stick with the original universe.

The Giant Bot War doesn't count, that's a whole different deal./lh

33.Have you ever stopped yourself from writing something? Why?

Certainly, with the following being said reasons;

Not appropriate for teens and up.

I just didn't like it and gave up.

It could potentially be offensive/triggering to people.

I want this to be a safe and comfortable place for everyone here, and I don't want to ruin it by being careless or lacking any judgement for some works that may hurt others. The joys of being extremely empathetic, am I right?/lh/hj

However, another reason could be, and this has only happened once, it has made me extremely uncomfortable. It won't happen often, but it certainly has happened before. So yeah, there are definitely some things that I've restrained myself from writing.

 I gots some more headcanons and imagines for you all to feast on while I get a few things going.

Leshy prepping his nest before he goes to sleep, then he goes, “Hm, something is missing, oh yes!” Then he rushes off and comes back holding his partner like a kitten and softly drops them into the nest. 

P03 bonks people/things he loves with its screen. It’s not something that he’s learned to do in a relationship, no no. It’s a natural behavior that all bots do! Meaning that the Inspector, Melter, and Dredger all do this as well. Maybe even the Uberbots too. (This is based off of ShioCreator’s fic, “Almost Murder Was Not The Intention” on Ao3. I’m just expanding the idea more.) 

All of the others that live in the land of beasts (Angler, Prospector, Trapper, and Trader) their eyes also turn red whenever they’re angry. 

I like to imagine that the Challengers are the definition of ‘Fuck around and find out’. 

If P03 can purr, that definitely means that the other Uberbots can too;

-Archivist’s purr is soft and soothing, gently rumbling against the metallic frame of her body. 

-The Photographer’s purr is very low and deep, rumbling loudly as it gently bonks whoever or whatever it’s purring at with its ‘face’.    

-The Unfinished Boss’s purr has a rather odd pitch to it. Their purr occasionally will have a sort of beep or chirp at random.

-G0lly’s purr is high pitched and squeaky. Unlike the Unfinished Boss, G0lly will let out beeps and chirps whenever she gets even more happy and excited rather than uncontrollably. 

-Extra: P03’s purr is not too low and not too high, a solid middle ground pitch. Will quietly let out a beep or two on occasion. 

   Which Scrybe enjoys stargazing the most? (In order of greatest to least) 

Leshy

-Leshy enjoys stargazing whenever he can. He finds it a very relaxing activity, one of his favorites in fact. 

2. P03

-P03 would never admit it, but he actually is really curious about astrology, it's just not one of its main focuses. 

3. Grimora

-Doesn’t see stars as often as she would like to, but when she does, she enjoys gazing up at them with her ghouls. 

4. Magnificus

-Doesn’t stargaze as a hobby, however he does use them as reference for his art. 

The Reader in the Chaoscule has a scar on their right eye from Act 1. 

Everytime Leshy looks at it, he feels guilty. (I will provide a visual example sooner or later.) 

All of the Scrybes have a soft spot for kids. All of them (some more than others).

For example;

 Leshy would prevent the child from using any items to hurt themselves. 

P03 would probably go easy on them, especially if they’re struggling and might even teach them a thing or two along the way. 

Grimora would also go easy on them and if they’re struggling will give them a few tips to help them. 

Magnificus would probably take baby steps with them, teaching them about which cards to use for each turn, to the point where he’s hardly even playing anymore, he’s just teaching them about the Magick cards.  

A little sneak peek into the ending per say of the Second Stoat Card Au, P03’s partner definitely thinks about teasing P03 about him being a stoat, but then decides not to as that was traumatizing for it and they don’t want to overstep that boundary. Character development 101.  

When I said in my ‘How would the Scrybes protect their S/O’ post that nobody hurts Grimora’s partner, I did not mean she will ensue violence. Though that doesn’t mean she won’t give a sharp and stern talk to whoever hurt you. I could imagine that she has a sharp tongue and only uses this ability when she needs to.

Hello hello! I wanted to write more Second stoat card Au, but I also need to work on the ask prompts. Second stoat card won. So now I have some fluff for you all. Anyways, I hope you enjoy and have a good rest of your day/night!

Being a stoat wasn’t exactly as bad as you had originally thought. Although there were things that were inconvenient such as random jumps, flips, and spins. Along with the almost constant need to hunt. 

P03, or the stoat as he is now called, wasn’t enjoying its time as a stoat at all. He never really was too fond of organics, with you being an exception. Although you would never admit it, he was actually rather adorable as a stoat. 

“Damn it!” the stoat screeched after it had done another unexpected jump as you approached. “What do you want?!” You let out a small huff, “You seem uptight. Do you-” The stoat cut you off, “Hell yeah I’m uptight! We’re both stoats! And it’s all because of that stupid beast that we call a Scrybe.” 

You hummed, then padded up next to the stoat and sat down next to him,”Is there any way I can help you right now?” The stoat’s expression softened, then he rested its head on top of yours,”Just stay here with me.” 

You gave him a small smile before leaning into his soft, white chest fur, “Sure, I can do that.” You both stay like that for a while, simply enjoying each other’s company. 

Crickets chirped outside as the pale sky darkened, casting the forest into a husky darkness. “How long do you think it’s going to be until the next challenger arrives?” You asked softly, hoping not to set your partner off into another tantrum. 

The stoat huffed, “It’s probably going to be forever for them to get here. Let alone free all four of us.” You nodded slightly,”I wouldn’t expect anything less.” You murmured. 

During your time at the cabin, you had learned that the other two Scrybes, Grimora and Magnificus, were also turned into talking cards along with you and P03. Grimora had been turned into the Stinkbug and Magnificus had been turned into the Stunted Wolf. 

Although all of you had your own views as to why this was happening, you had no idea why Leshy was doing all of this in the first place. ‘Maybe it has something to do with that “Old Data” he mentioned?’ You thought to yourself as the stoat wrapped his tail on top of your own. 

“But hey, at least we have each other. And that’s all we need, right?” You tried reassuring your love, you always hated seeing him this upset and seemingly powerless. “Right.” The stoat murmured, although he didn’t seem convinced. 

He pulled away, “You should probably rest. If the challengers are going to take forever to get here, you may as well get as much sleep as you can.” The stoat started to pad away but you scampered in front him, stopping it in its tracks. “Oh no you don’t! You’re going to rest with me.” 

The stoat smirked and sighed dramatically, “Do I have to participate in your organic activities?” You chuckled before speaking, “Yes, in fact you do.” The stoat playfully huffed, “Fine.” He said before scampering off and hopping onto a tabletop on the further side of the cabin. 

You followed him and struggled to get onto the table, before the stoat pulled you up and let go once you found your footing. You took a few steps closer to the other side before, laying down, the stoat shortly laying down next to you, your fur brushing his. 

The stoat rested his head on its paws, while you rested yours on the back of its neck. “I love you.” You murmured, you heard a muffled, ‘Love you too.’ from the stoat. You smiled before you closed your eyes, letting sleep drag you away in comfortable darkness.

Okay, this was an idea I shared with my friend a while ago and I wanted to write it out. So you know how P03 turns into a stoat right? What if P03 had an established S/O (Who isn’t a challenger mind you) before Act 1 and while they’re looking for him, they stumble upon Leshy and get turned into a stoat too? Don’t worry, the ask prompts are still in progress. It’s just going to take me a while to get to everyone because there’s like 11 asks and 7 of them are for 3 or more people. I might make multiple stories of this and you all are more than welcome to request something with the ask prompts with this idea of mine. Imma call this Au, ‘The second stoat card Au’.  Anyways I hope you enjoy, and have a good rest of your day/night!  

-A Mysterious Transformation-

    “P03? Are you out here?” You called out as you stumbled across leaf strewn ground, pushing past against low hanging pine branches. You had been looking for your beloved Scrybe, P03, who had mysteriously gone missing without a trace.

While your fellow coworkers continued their work in the factory, you decided to go looking for him. It wasn’t like him to leave the factory unannounced, let alone for extended periods of time. You tried to set your worries aside as you continued forward. However that residing fear sat in your gut like a led weight.

“P03? Come on, answer me!” You called out again, desperation made your chest ache. Your ears pricked at the sound of rushing water in the distance, maybe Leshy has an idea as to where he went? You set off into the direction of Leshy’s cabin, hopefully you will find some trace of your lover there.

The last thing you saw was a flash of white. You had lost against Leshy in a round of Inscryption, however what he had said beforehand didn’t sit right with you. “Although I have significant doubts that you will use the Old Data for your own personal gain, I am not willing to risk it to be in someone’s hands whom that bot trusts.” What Leshy had meant by that was beyond you, but you didn’t really have any time to think about it. Once you had woken up from the effects of the flash, you were still in Leshy’s cabin.

However things were different, you were lying face up towards the ceiling and you were inside a compact space. You tried looking around, but considering your position, it was difficult. '`Finally awake huh?” said a voice above you. You looked to see a white stoat right above you, it’s pale eyes staring into you. That voice sounded so familiar. No it couldn’t be him, could it? “Here let me help you out.” It said as it grabbed you by the back of the neck and pulled you out of the compacted space.

You turned to look at what you were stuck in, it was one of Leshy’s beast cards. You were puzzled, how did you get into one of his beast cards? You looked at the name of the card. ‘Stoat’ it read, upon reading this you looked down at where your feet would be, but instead you saw two paws, all too similar to a stoat.

“Pretty sure there aren’t any other Scrybes around here, or have I just been gone that long?” The stoat spoke, ears flattening slightly. “I’m assuming you’re not sure how you ended up like this either?” You said, trying to see if Leshy was anywhere nearby. He didn’t seem to be on the other side of the table.

The stoat huffed, “Well, that stinking beast certainly has something to do with it, that’s for sure.” It muttered, then it paused. “Wait…” it said, a mixed expression of horror and disbelief on its small face. “S-S/O? Wh-What are you doing here?! I thought you would’ve stayed at the factory!” The stoat spoke frantically. All of your worried thoughts came crashing down on you, it’s him. It’s really him.

P03 was the stoat standing in front of you at this very moment. You felt yourself rush forward and the next you knew you were nuzzling against P03’s white, fluffy chest. “I-I was worried, so I came looking for you.” You murmured. You felt P03 rest his head on top of yours, “You’re too kind for your own good, you know that?” it said, its fur ruffling against a sudden chill in the cabin. You stayed silent, unsure of what to say. “Stoat? Is there another talking card?” Called a voice from below the table.

P03 pulled away and scampered off to the edge of the table, you followed close behind him. “Yes Stink Bug, there is.” P03 announced with his gaze flicking from you and back to the stink bug on the cabin floor. “There’s more talking cards? Are all the cards like this?” You asked, more questions swarming your mind by the second. P03 shook his head, “No, not all of the cards are like this. It’s just us four.” You tilted your head to one side, “Four?” As if on cue, a wolf with a scarred eye emerged from the darkness and joined the stink bug beneath the table. Well this was certainly going to be quite the situation.

One that goes to Eternia.

-There, they(all pronouns for my child) screw around and make the big mistake of using an Archfiend. Archfiends warp reality slightly to show off their power.

-The Snake Mountain gang get winds of this.

-The Student gets kidnapped and has to play tutorial man to a group of losers on power trips(Skeletor is the biggest and strongest, but, for whatever reason, he's merciful towards The Student. The real scariest is Kronis. Everyone else can play the game just fine, but Kronis cannot get the rules to stay in his head too long).

-The Stoat, The Stinkbug, and The Second Stoat are perpetually on the edge of losing their minds every time something goes wrong.

-Which is often.

-Like holy shit man. Skeletor keeps trying to steal the masks The Student puts on to try and enhance the experience, Evelyn always wants to summon an Archfiend, R'Qazz keeps sacrificing the animal cards, and Kronis is a trainwreck.

-I have no idea what else to do with this idea.

Balan Wonderworld is a bad modern game.

This kinda essay is exactly what it says on the tin. Balan Wonderworld is a bad modern game because of dated controls, a lack of non-book story, and the lack of ability to keep up the vibe. In the olden times of Platformers, this stuff would have been partially O.K. The controls wouldn't be dated, the story would have had some explanation of stuff(Fun Fact: The game is based on Broadway musicals. Did you know that until you saw a post on the subject? I didn't. The game only hints at this stuff.) and back then, games had to keep the vibe visible or else perish. The Cutscenes are a 10/10. Character design has *T H O S E* vibes

*slaps desk* Tell me what you like about Yatterman.

Yatterman is, from an outsider's perspective, batshit insane. It has such a simple looking premise(two superpower-less kids, their toy robot, and their mech robot go and fight a trio of bad guys with their own mech made for the episode and an unknown bad guy), but then you watch the episodes, and dear god. It's ridiculous, and oh no I've gotten attached to these many dumbasses(I'm looking at the Dorombo gang, as respectfully as I can at a bunch of idiots who look completely ridiculous and YatterKing, yatterking my beloved) and also, What The F*** just happened. Weird Inscryption AU/Sequel Ideas Part 1

-We start with a 'friendly' duel between The Student and The Teacher. The Student is featureless beyond wearing a hat and a cloak. The Teacher is a many eyed being with many arms and hands. The Teacher is the worst mix between Leshy and P03 personality-wise, but they still attempt to teach you the game.

-The game is changed slightly. There is still Blood, Bones, and Energy. The mechanics on energy have changed(drain the health of an animal/undead thing/another robot/rememory to summon a robot). The element that replaces Mox is Memory. Memory is a resource acquired turn by turn to be used when you call upon a rememory(basically a character card). There are multi-resource super cards that are divided into Archfiends and Archangels(They all speak! all other cards that can do this are seen as anomalies)

-Your starting deck is mainly blood based cards with only high bone/1 blood/3 memory cost card Kraken as an outlier. It also has your(the player's) old friend, The Stoat(there's another non-P03 Stoat later on).

-The Stoat's a curiosity to The Teacher. The Stoat does not think likewise. The Stoat is less abusive towards The Student compared to his/their/it's antics in the previous game. Kraken and The Stoat start bickering the second their ideas on how to play clash. Kraken loves The Student as a friend.

-After you win two direct battles against The Teacher, he basically forces you out with the excuse of 'see the world, fight better card players, get a better deck'(the real reason is that The Teacher is being 'fixed' and his personality will change and he doesn't want to be seen suffer).

-This is where Act 2 gameplay returns.

-please don't kill me. I have fun world building.

-In the White Spiral Galaxy, the card game is a hobby! A massive hobby, but a hobby none the less.

-The Student cannot fight. They need someone/something else to get them between settlements. The Stoat almost calls The Student a little bitch at one point(involving a trio of crappy raiders, a lich who loves the card game and is also a Darklord matching minds with you(5th return of Act 1 style), and one hell of an exit).

-There are 8 major planets in the White Spiral Galaxy.

-They are: Lero(the Green Planet), Grogal(the Desert Planet), Tormental(The Water Planet), Glisenglim(The Ice Planet), Gigantula(The Giant Jungle Planet), Tinkadink(The Fountain Mine Planet), Zeus(The Cloud Planet), and The Unnamed Planet(The New Planet).

Happy Nintendo Direct

Splatoon is one of my joys just b/c worldbuilding. Clothes and Weapon based Worldbuilding that ties into biology worldbuilding.

There is going to be a Splatoon 3. Ya’ll need to get ready b/c while 1990s throwback stuff is fine, I’m ALL here for the post-apoc type outfits. Maybe, Nintendo could make hybrid outfits where it’s both post-apocalypse and 1990s outfit, b/c that would be the best aesthetic.
