They had to get out of here quickly. Riz could hear his friends fighting someone and knew that they probably wouldn't be able to help search for the cursed objects and it was up to him. It was fine, finding things is what he was GOOD at.

He ducked into another one of the unsearched rooms, eyes scanning the floor as he tried to find what he was looking for. Riz was so focused in his search that he didn't notice the mirror until it was too late, the rogue swearing and firing his arcubus as a bony hand jutted out of the mirror like it was nothing but water and grabbed him by the wrist.

"You cannot be trying to hurt your roemance partner Riz Gukgak." Baron hissed, squeezing Riz's wrist harder until his weapon clattered to the floor. Riz hissing and clawing at the hand that had him in a vice grip as it yanked him towards and through the reflective surface of the mirror.

He landed hard on the ground when he was suddenly released, the rogue scrambling to his feet and try and work out where he was. Spotting the glowing window of light from the mirror he'd been pulled through and trying to leap back out the way he'd came. The goblin swearing and falling back to the ground when he impaced the solid surface of the back of the mirror rather than emerging back into the room he'd just came from.

Riz tried more carefully the second time, pressing a hand up to the glass and feeling it flex outwards slightly under the pressure. This was the way out he was sure of it, he just had to break the glass and escape like baron had back in his office.

He balled up a fist, slamming it into the glass with a loud thunk which did nothing but hurt his knuckles. The rogue progressing to kicking and then throwing his full weight against it when it wouldn't budge. His sword and breifcase were gone, he'd dropped his arcubus when he was grabbed and his claws weren't even leaving a mark.

Riz tried shouting, hoping that someone would hear him and come break the glass from the other side. Ears perking up when he heard footsteps from out of his line of sight before he recoiled in horror. His own face suddenly staring back at him through the mirror and tapping on the glass like he was a fish in a tank.

"Do not worry Riz Gukgak~ I will forgive you for doing such hurtful things." Baron, wearing his face and carrying his sword and breifcase, stepped away from the mirror. Crouching to pick up the dropped arcubus and holster it before stopping in front of the mirror again as if checking his appearance.

"Let me out Baron." Riz growled the creatures name, fist slamming against the back of the mirror again.

"No, I do not think I will." His own face grinned back at him, a claw reaching up to scratch a line along the other side of the mirror. Baron dropping the accent as he did a perfect imitation of Riz's own voice as he turned and left the room. "But I'm going to leave for a while. You will stay and think about what you have done."

baron (from the baronies) is the manifestation of a lie riz gukgak (fantasy high character) told (about dating someone named baron (from the baronies)) and they're sort of representative of his anxiety abt being left alone because all his friends will be in relationships someday and he's aroace

Reasoning: This goblin is confirmed asexual, but by looking at how his fears are presented in the campaign, many side with the idea of him being aroace. I, a lad from Autism Town, (down Aroace street), and my buddy, (my hypothetical neighbor on said street), love this guy. He walks around with his briefcase in the first season and he's incredibly smart in-game, smart enough to do away with romance, a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and may or may not have spawned an evil mirror clone from his lies about a distant "partner", named Baron. They're roemance paartners. Riz Gukgak has enraptured our hearts as the true crab king.

NOTE: The 'No, he's only aromantic' and 'No, he's allo' options are excluded on purpuse, due to the character being canonically asexual

Most annoying part about writing nonmagical Storybrooke AUs from Belle’s POV: naming Mr. Gold. I can’t have Belle thinking of her roemance paertner as “Mr. Gold,” but calling him another name feels weird.
