you ever feel the need to express something, so you write up a post or message super easy, and youre about to post/send it, but you think "i dont know if this is quite right…." and get stuck? typically in situations like that, i would discard/delete telling myself that if that important of a thought it would resurface and get written out and posted the second or third time and the important thing is i wrote out the thoughts and expressed them to at least my self in other words, i would only express something if i was feeling very confident with it but after everything that has happened recently, i dont know if this is a good habit what do you think?

"always do the hard yucky stuff first" and "meaningful activities require suffering" were two beliefs that lead to one of the most regrettable experiences i had in college
i spent so much time doing (actually, mostly avoiding) homework that i disliked so i could save the fun stuff for last, i ended up not having as much time (sometimes none at all) to do the stuff i liked
my college education was fucked from the start but i couldnt even show off the subjects and projects i was good at and maximize my learning because uhhhh reasons!
do what you like! even if you have drudgery you want to do, the fun stuff is usually more important, and im pretty sure itll give you the energy to do the drudgery if youre still certain you gotta do it

i just read from a pattern maker that the reason why "petites" exist despite the average height of a woman in the west is 5'4" (the height "petites" starts at) is because wealthier persons are taller (they didnt say why but probably better early nutrition and having generations of tall healthy ancestors)
what an oof

I'm hearing voices, but I'm not seeing progress Devastate, can't relate, stay the fuck away from me We run at nothing till we can't turn back So we dig our way to the other side
The light is shifting out of sight But not out of mind
Fall into insanity again and again Lingering obsessions dwell in the shadows below In this moment there is pain in our eyes All that we have left, we will die for
I finally feel like I can breathe again Take a moment to absorb the consequence of taking the fall
I've spent years on the ground Looking up at the world for mercy I shed my skin
Let the fires rise From the ashes we will see the light Where the embers lie Our liberty no longer denied
What the light has failed to capture Is this the end of all we know? I will not deny the warning signs This time I will not stand alone
—"is this the end of all we know?", bleed from within
