Okay! I know you're asking for a song and I will get to that in a second! Those who have met me in-game and those who have been forced to party with me know that I have a macro that I use to start every duty. Because every he-roe needs a motto! The motto is, "Together we can go further than we can alone. Together, we can go Myles Beyond!"

Originally I created an Arrowverse style monologue for my character because I was going to try and make videos but never got around to it. Basically the intro before the video got into the meat and popotos it would go something like, "Division has come and conquered our nation. Properganda has split families and friends apart. And so we fall. It only takes one voice to unite. To rally the hearts of men and women alike. To show the world that together we can go further than we can alone. Together, we can go Myles Beyond!" Or something similar.

Back to the main question at hand though! The song I would choose would be Push it to the Limit - Missing Tide.

The opening sequence would be Myles running in front of someone helpless, arms crossed in a defensive stance, taking a massive blow that would have killed the average man. Blown into the sky the background would fade to white as he fell aimlessly. Clothes tattered and his consciousness vacant. His body begins to glow a soft yellow until it engulfs his entirety. When the light dispurses his fairy companion taps his forehead to awaken him. Beyond's eyes drift open. Groggly he looks around and notices he now has wings. Instead of falling to his doom, he gently glides to the ground landing on one knee. One hand reaching out behind him while the other balled into a fish pressed into the ground. A perfect execution of a he-roe pose! As his head rises the camera zooms in to see a smirk on his face. Fade to black and the show begins!

Explain your Roegadyn's name

Last week I saw a prompt for Roegadyn’s to explain our names. In a magnificent fashion that only one such as myself can manage, I’ve lost it. So if you’ve seen it please tag it and repost it to give proper credit to this idea! 

I’m not sure how many people know that Myles Beyond isn’t my character’s birth-given name but one he adopted while enslaved as a gladiator. It was chanted as he fought his way up the bracket trying to reach his freedom. But this prompt isn’t about the story that you may know! It’s about before he ever climbed down the Abalathia's Spine.

The roegadyn male was born in a mountainous region with limited resources. Only a few tribes existed in the high altitude. His mother named him, “Piercing Echo,” because when he cried it would travel throughout the lands. Every clan knew when the infant was in need. Ironically that same voice was used to provoke many adversaries during his time as a gladiator and during his time as a paladin. Very few close to Beyond know his given name. For there is power in names. And to honor another with your name is to give them power over you.

Cracked Cluster

Good drinks, Great friends, Timeless memories!

The energy in the room was palpable. A symphony of laughter and cheers filled the building creating a masterfully orchestrated melody. The two puppeteers had crafted an atmosphere from the finest of herbal teas, meads, to the freshest of meats. Hats off to the two gentleman who hosted the evening.

There was a time in Beyond's youth where he found himself to be the life of party. Larger than life and I don't mean in just physical stature. Back when his spirit was free and his beard kept. No passed were the days. Now the ole roegadyn found enjoyment holding up the wall and watching others give care to the wind. During the first hour or so Myles nursed his tea while his fairy companion attempted to get him to be more social. Like a downed tree, he wasn't budging.

Before long a familiar face accompanied him and she had brought a friend along. Lady Fayeth and Lady Julianne. Quickly corrected by the both of them that they were no ladies, he remained stead fast in his conviction. Introductions were given. Recaps on current event in everyone's life were laid to bare on the table like a round of triple triad. Throughout the evening it would seem a mage of great potential had transposed and caused an Astral fire to flare between the two elezen women. It was subtle but nonetheless prevalent like the flame that lit a room in the waning evening.

A wise drunkard once said, "at the end of the day, the day has to end." And like that the three found themselves shuffling out along with a few other tavern patrons. Best wishes were given. Hugs were exchanged. And another page was written in the life of Myles Beyond.
