Let it be known that none of them actually expected the idiots’ of the week’s ritual to work. The summoning hadn’t worked for literal centuries- everyone knew it had been sealed away, presumably forever!

(Of course they had no way to know that in the Infinite Realms actually used the term forever as a measurement of time, what with how time itself wasn’t particularly linear within. And to beings that could hypothetically live for eternity? Forever was a nice vacation time really) 

So maybe they hadn’t been exactly focused on stopping the ritual as much as they could of been, and by the time they realized it was working, well, it’d been a bit too late then. So yes, mistakes had perhaps in fact, been made. 

First had come the chill, the cold of the ground as your body was lowered down, the cold of your blood dripping from your living corpse. Then came the shadows, the darkness creeping along their vision as their soul slipped from their body. Followed by boiling heat, flames scorching through their flesh and tearing from their chests like a blade piercing their hearts. 

The form that emerged was massive, a cloak dripping crimson fluttering in the wind of an unseen battlefield, verdant flames licking at the air and causing the surrounding shadows to writhe. A dark growl echoed through the building, the stone below them shaking while deathly green eyes glowered down at the living with utter contempt. 

“Do any of you imbeciles know how long it takes to get ghostlings to sleep-”

entirely incorrect i'm sure but a silly thing I was just wondering about was yk how in the promised consort radahn fight during his phase change radahn looks like THIS:

and then miquella comes in and this strange red aura fades from radahn and it's replaced by miquella's golden light

(forgive me for the atrocious picture but)

and then miquella himself comes and joins the fight by just piggybacking on radhan

and ik this comparison's probably been made before, but I found miquella and radahn's pose really interesting along with the details of radahn being surrounded by this glowing red aura and literally SHAKING the ground during his mid-phase cutscene, looking absolutely FERAL, before miquella comes in and radahn seems to calm down (sort of????) in a way and the glowing red is instead replaced by miquella's gold before the aura completely vanishes.

and what it reminded me of was primarily godfrey and serosh

and i wondered if this was that kind of scenario because with godfrey and serosh, godfrey took serosh upon his back to suppress his lust for battle so that he could act as a 'proper lord'

so i wonder if during that cutscene when we see radahn glowing RED and shaking the ground and generally looking altogether terrifying, we're basically seeing radahn's bloodlust/lust for battle arise before miquella comes in and suppresses that urge; he ends up acting as the serosh to radahn's godfrey to suppress this battle lust so that radahn can act as a 'proper lord' or something along those lines.

just something i was thinking about because I was rewatching PCR's cutscene (it's so insanely cool.) and I just wondered about this detail. It's definitely wrong but I find it interesting to think on all the same.

Okay, I don't think this one will actually help, but do I understand correctly that Callan is technically Cyrus' boss?🤣 Because, I can see Callan being professional with him, meanwhile he spent the morning listening to Aiden rant about him

What is Callan afraid of?

I know he likes to stress bake in the modern au(me too, man) but what are his hobbies in the fae realm?

This isn't a question but I know he loves flower crowns and that is just the cutest thing ever😭

What was it like when he finally introduced Henry to Rhys because I know that in his character spotlight he said something about Rhys scaring him away 🤣

I know somewhere it says that hes one of the youngest kings in history, and i know the rulers have meetings sometimes with each other so how does everyone else feel about Callan being so young?

What was it like when Henry asked for his hand in marriage?

What was their wedding like?

First off, thank you so much for your questions! I really appreciate it!

And yes, technically Callan is the boss of Cyrus. So is Henry, since he’s officially leader of the royal guard xD

Callan is afraid of losing the people he loves (Henry especially) and of failing as a king. Also of sickness. Those are his deepest fears.

Sadly, Cal doesn’t have much time for hobbies, but when he can make some time, he likes poetry, reading and botany.

Rhys did not scare Henry away, that much is clear xD he did embarrass Callan a bit though and pokes fun at them for being love birds. But their meeting went well and Rhys likes him (he passed Rhys’ test you could say), so it’s all good xD

Callan is indeed one of the youngest kings in fae history. For fae standards he’s barely even a grown up (or well, he is now but he wasn’t when he took the throne).

So of course the other rulers thought he was too young and naive to be a king. The queen of the Aspen Court (Rhys’ mother) believed in him though and defended him in front of the others. And soon Callan proofs her right and the others wrong, because he’s doing a good job ^^

Henry asked for Callan’s father’s blessing before proposing to Callan. He was afraid that he wasn’t good enough, but the king reassured him that as long as he loves Callan, that was more than enough. So then Henry proposed and Callan instantly turned into a crying mess because he has dreamed of this and now it’s finally happening!

Their wedding was a typical fae wedding, of course it was a huge thing cause that’s a ROYAL fae wedding. That’s THE event. After they made it through the official part and enjoyed their feast a bit however, the two snuck away for some alone time, they needed that xD

Callan is a good choice for having a conversation with, it would certainly be a nice chat. Also you can gush over Henry together!

storm (2014) is super underrated because, mohawk aside, it does do some good work for her character development regarding how she gets to this point where her leadership style becomes more collaborative. a large part of that run is centered around her learning how to be a better leader and putting to bed this idea that her approach is always going to be the best one even if it’s based on an assumption (i.e., thinking callisto was back to being a criminal again).
