It is 2024 and this is the very first time I have heard this information about WHY she has all that banter about magic.

Are you saying all those tinfoil theories about her having a second arc about magic in DA4 and even that she is somehow a tranquil Andruil for a DECADE now are all because of them not cleaning up properly after changing her subclass flavour and not any hints or themes or something intended at all???

I guess that's also what that dialogue about her just knowing how to do archery without any training are about...

Thinking about how Varric and Solas represent the two sides of Cole...and how that is much that same as Solas and Sera for a Dalish elf inquisitior. Solas representing your elven heritage, your connection to the fade. Sera representing your humanity, your connection to the people around you, the people you need to save. They both see you as being like them in some way but have completely opposite expectations of what that means, and if you lean into your Dalishness you end up disappointing both. Too elfy and never elfy enough.

(I imagine spending 8-10 years waiting for the sky to fall didn't do any wonders to Sera's fear of the Fade. That said: "Eat it, Fade. She makes it fine.")

i ran out of hairstyle ideas after realizing that maximillian would abandon his long hair & preferred mohawk style for something that was easier to wear & maintain post-trespasser. this inquisitor's hair is in god's (veilguard character creator) hands now.
