Okay, I probably should've made this awhile ago, but I forgot,,,

So anyways, welcome to my blog!!

Uuuh call me the Rats for now, I might update that later.

I post mainly fanart, sometimes original art. I'm a traditional artist. I'm in a lot of fandoms right now and I draw for a buncha different stuff, but I mainly draw bungo stray dogs fanart (I'm kinda hyperfixated on soukoku rn).

(I do more serious drawings too, but these ones bring me joy so I thought I'd add them :] )

Uuh some stuff about me. I'm 17. I'm autistic, trans (they/he pronouns), and queer (might be aspec or arospec but idk, I got a lot going on).

I do draw some stuff that might be triggering for some people but I always tag anything I think might need a trigger warning. Please message me if I forget something. I don't really post anything NSFW.

Oh, I'm also working on writing a book rn, so I might occasionally post stuff about that.

Shizuku has went vegetarian/vegan multiple times for different reasons (feels bad for the animals, dieting for work, it's good for the environment) but she can never commit to it since she can't handle the stress of restricting her food so much and no one around her is vegetarian so it's really difficult to remember that she can't eat something, and she ends up being excluded from family meals which she hates. The longest she's ever committed to being vegetarian she wasn't getting enough iron and had to start taking supplements

the fact that netflix probably dropped the six of crows spinoff (at least in part) because of “the rats” show (“six teenage criminals fighting the kingdom’s most dangerous crime ring”) and “the rats” aren’t even getting their full spinoff anymore bc netflix is finally curbing its expectations with its witcher franchise……………… im feeling homicidal

I am not sure if news had spread to Tumblr, but with Netflix announcing the Witcher spin-off about a band of thieves known as the 'Rats' who go on a heist, the Shadow and Bones fans were not happy. The wording netflix used was almost identical to the summary of the Six of Crows novel, a propsed spin-off show of the Shadow and Bone series that ended up getting canceled before it could be created, and SoC/SaB fans were very upset. They were suspicious that the materials for the proposed SoC show (including the script that had been written before the show got cancelled) would be used for the Rats show in the Witcherverse.

They are aware of the Rats existence in the novels, and Ciris interactions with them, but to see a show with the same premise get scrapped and then have the other be freshly announced, feelings were all over the place.

However, we are all fans. We are all lovers of these fantasy worlds that we've received, and there is NO ill will felt towards anyone involved outside of Netflix. We just want to clarify that, and ask that we drop the issue. Netflix is what it is, and no one truly understands the decisions they make when it comes down to it. Our show may have been canceled but hopefully our sister fandoms can be celebrated together as products of beloved Netflix adaptations of phenomenal source materials. We may have lost our Grisha, but we still have your sorceresses! if you feel willing, please consider signing the petition to save Shadow and Bone!
