Random thought. I'm sure most are aware of how much of a softy Mick is portrayed in recent shorts or really anything nowadays. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Heck, in comics he sure can be his feral self.
My point is. What if during Epic Mickey or some back stage thing, Ozzy finds Mick pretty beat up and is just questioning it. Of course, he tends to the mouse. Whether out of genuine care or someone like Gus implores him to. As he treats Mick, he must be confused cuz he thought Mick was way more than capable of defending himself. He's seen his films, the mouse can fight. Heck, he once had his own Gym in his backyard. Oz has even felt and seen the mouse's strength. For a replacement, how is he not a decent fighter? Cue Oswald finding out that Mick has been heavily out of practice and isn't really allowed to fight as it sets a bad example for others. Oswald is just dumbfounded at this. Sure violence isn't the answer, but it sure as heck is an option.
What I am getting at is. After learning this, Oswald offers to train Mick. Get him sharpened up. Ozzy's been fighting Blotlings for a few decades, so he definitely has some tactics. Also, somewhat turns into like a coaching therapy cuz Mick shouldn't have to walk on glass. Other toons also pitch in, even Pete to the surprise of many.

I'm a mess thinking about how Lilia handled Silver getting sick for the first time 😭
THE WAY THAT THIS COULD BE SO FUNNY AND SO AWFUL TO ME!!!!
like,,,, are we talking first time baby sick?? because PLEASE the venerated and feared general vanrouge having to deal with a wailing, feverish baby that's just puked all over his shoulder?? THE HORROR, THE DISGUST, FOUL HUMANS, HE REMEMBERS HOW MUCH HE HATES CHILDREN.
but the baby keeps crying so piteously that one would think it a mewling bird with a broken wing, absolutely helpless as it weakly clutches fistfuls of his long, dark hair that's now matted with the reappearance of the milk that he had fed the child earlier. he does not know what to do— the act of healing, of caring, these are not things that his blood-stained and callous-ridden hands know! he has half a mind to stuff every potion in his cabinets down the child's feverish mouth in an effort to stem the heat rising from its skin and diminish its cries; the other, more logical half snaps a clipped, frantic message to one of his bats to request the assistance of the zigvolts' new human addition.
and that should be all that is necessary, now to simply wait for the human's arrival and see what can be done to rectify the wailing creature in his arms. but he cannot seem to lower the child into its cradle, something within him strangely resistant to part it from his embrace, and he finds himself pacing the length of the small cottage living room twenty times over, muttering nonsense to a sniffling child that hiccups sadly by his ear.
it's not that he finds it comforting to keep the baby close until the human doctor dentist arrives, to let the cooler temperature of his own skin soothe the angry flesh of the child. it's just that it'd be such a hassle to clean out the crib should the child throw up among its blankets. and really, that's all it is— a hassle.

He stared out into the sunset, arms rested on the railing, fingers interlocked as his mind swirled.
There was a lot that needed to be taken care of, and soon. He’d begun to wonder if he’d gone soft, but the rage that boiled under his skin over the way Magnus had made Miyu suffer, the fury that billowed in his chest at the thought of Virgil planning to experiment on anyone who had the Echo, and the darkness that clouded his heart when it came to Tuturoko, were proof enough that he really hadn’t changed enough to no longer recognize himself.
Footsteps from behind him brought him out of his thoughts and he straightened, turning to face them with the most unimpressed expression. Two men, upon realizing that he had heard them, walked boldly to stand before him, one with a knife much like the two he carried, and one with a slender, curved dagger. Seeing as they held bladed weapons, he came to the conclusion that they were Tuturoko’s men and smirked.
“Ah, what unfortunate timing for the two of you,” he said dryly. The men exchanged a look and returned their attention to Tofu with renewed anger.
The man with the knife, a midlander, rushed at Tofu, swinging his knife at him. Tofu sidestepped out of the way, though the blade grazed against his cheek. He easily grabbed the man’s knife hand, squeezing until he felt a number of bones break and heard the clatter of the knife as it fell to the ground. The man with the dagger, a highlander, began to charge towards him, but Tofu swung the man he still had hold of around and flung him into the oncoming attack.
Both men crumpled to the ground, the midlander still wailing in pain from his broken hand. The highlander picked himself back up, and Tofu let him. After all, Tofu still had some pent up anger to relieve. The highlander took note of Tofu’s unimpressed expression and glared at him, charging once more. Tofu ducked under the swing of his dagger and elbowed him harshly in the stomach. The dagger clattered to the ground as well as the highlander staggered backwards. Tofu scooped up the dagger quickly and threw it over the railing into the ravine below in one smooth movement. He straightened and faced the highlander, stepping backwards to scoop up the knife as well, giving it the same treatment.
The midlander finally picked himself back up, cradling his broken hand against his body and glaring at Tofu. The two men charged at him together, the midlander aiming a kick at his head and the highlander gearing up for a punch. Tofu blocked the kick with his arm and ducked under the fist, bringing up a foot and shoving the highlander back. He flipped his arm around to grab the leg that had tried to kick him and pulled the midlander towards him, slamming a palm against his nose with a sickening crack. The midlander dropped to the ground, unconscious or dead.
The highlander had moved in on Tofu more quickly than he expected, throwing another punch that landed, splitting Tofu’s lip. Tofu’s expression didn’t change as he swiped away the blood that had begun to pool over his lip with his thumb before he darted forward, grabbing the highlander by the face and placing a foot behind his and shoving him to the ground harshly. Once more, a sickening crack sounded from beneath his hand and the man below him stopped moving.
Tofu straightened up once more and looked upon the two men. With a quick glance around, he picked them up one by one and rolled them over the railing into the ravine where their weapons rested. Reaching up and swiping the blood off of his cheek with his fingertips, he made his way back to the house to treat the cut.

Attraction | Accepting
doing modern verse first then his base verse-
Tarhos gives the grey a questioning look before huffing and eventually sighing, "Robin's been a close friend for years and he's cute, but he's not overly attractive. He's got an unnerving aura to him and a wide eyed stare that'd put any owl to shame. Like I said he's cute."
Oh Eve- truth be told he never really talked to her much, but she was colder than Robin was sometimes. Yet... even he knew whatever she was human or otherwise it was a brand built to be attractive, "Yeah- she's attractive. I think anyone with eyes could tell you that."
Tarhos rolled his eyes at the question not even bothering to look up from the shoulder piece he was diligently cleaning, "The man who thinks himself a god? He's not ugly unlike some others I've had the displeasure to laying my eyes upon, but he's not anything special."
