All eyes turned to the Avatar of Pride when Leviathan pointed this out. They were supposed to be organizing the house library, but it was a long and boring task. One that everyone wanted to finish quickly, yet nobody could find the motivation to make any real progress.

âI can hear you speculating about the nature and origin of my injury from my office, but I donât think itâs relevant to your jobs. The jobs you should all be doing right now. Get to work.â
The brothers scattered like roaches back to their respective corners of the library. All except for Satan, who Lucifer beckoned over with his finger. Satan hesitated at first, but it was better to go along with Lucifer when his mood was sour. The two stepped out for a minute, far enough away that no one else would overhear.
âWhat?â Satan was fed up with this conversation and it hadnât even started.
âDo you want to know how I actually hurt my wrist?
Satanâs eyebrows flew up and he took several seconds to think about the question. What an odd offer. There was nothing for Lucifer to gain by telling him this, was there? Though, if he spent too long thinking Lucifer might change his mind and leave his little brother wondering what happened forever. With an oddly docile tone of voice, Satan responded, â...Yes.â
While Satan was busy wondering how to respond, Lucifer had taken out his DDD. He was scrolling through a menu in search of something. âI was hula hooping. Diavolo and I attend a class for fitness and for fun.â

Grian sits on the edge of a desert cliff, watching the sunrise. His knuckles are bloody. He's had this dream before, and he's lived this moment before. He's awfully tired of it, honestly. "Wait, you mentioned--are you asking everyone that?" Grian asks.
"Yeah! It was all, oh, you've got a car, you can travel, it'll be all poetic like. You've had a 'character arc'--like I'm some, some fake guy--and grown as a person, everyone else has to, would they do things differently now? And I said, man, that's stupid. That's really stupid. "Wait wait wait wait, the who?" Grian interrupts.
"Sorry, do you not know the glowing purple eyes guys? Martyn was acting like you're all buddies or something. Then I punched him. Because it was funny," Joel says.
"No, I know the--they asked you to do this?" Grian says. He takes a moment to try to imagine it. He has some trouble. Joel and the Watchers don't really belong in the same place at the same time for so many reasons that Grian doesn't know where to begin.
"Apparently, I'm not being serious enough," Joel informs Grian. "I kinda get it, actually. Like, everyone but Cleo has been somewhere like..."
Joel looks out over the cliff. It is tall, and Grian knows he cannot see the ground from the top. He had been able to during the actual games, of course, but these aren't the actual games; these are the memories of what brought him to victory, made manifest.
"So I guess I kinda wondered, since you lot always seem so blumin' sad about it," Joel finishes.
"I'm not really," Grian says.
Joel raises an eyebrow.
"I mean, maybe once, but--nah. Not really."
"Cool. That's the last one then," Joel says. "Hear that, weird glowing eyes guys? You act like I'm all weird or whatever but none of them regret it either. Not a single one of them."
Grian looks over the cliff again himself.
"None of us?" he asks, very quietly indeed.
Joel sighs. "All of you asked that too. I'm getting back in the bloody car."
Grian doesn't watch Joel leave. He rubs the blood off his knuckles and watches the sky instead. When he's tired thinking in circles about how he didn't really expect that he would be telling the truth, just then, he starts trying to imagine the trouble Joel might be giving everyone else instead. It's much more fun to think about than the sand that's getting in his socks. He's never able to get sand out of anything, these days, and it leaves him always just a little bit uncomfortable. Oh well; the price of being in a desert. He wouldn't be anywhere else if he had the choice, though, grit in his socks or not.

âI do. I definitely do,â you reassured him. âBut, your class is definitely the best. I feel like itâs the only one where Iâm actually moving toward my goal of becoming an art restorer.â
Harry nodded thoughtfully, a small smile playing on his lips as if he was flattered. âI get it. Itâs hard when youâre taking a bunch of classes, and only one of them really feels like itâs leading you somewhere you want to go.â
You exhaled, relieved he didnât think you were simply disinterested in your studies. âYeah, exactly. I feel like the rest of them are just kind of...a filler.â
âWell,â he said, leaning back on the couch, âeven the ones that donât seem directly related to your goals still help build the foundation for what you want to do. You might not see it now, but everything connects in its own way.â He looked deeply into your eyes, making you nervous.
âI know,â you agreed, taking a small sip of wine to give you a moment to collect your thoughts. âI know, itâs just hard sometimes when I canât see the bigger picture.â

I understand what you're trying to do but in my experience it doesn't work
I've debunked literally hundreds of insane, factually & scientifically wrong crap a friend has been sending me off social media since the FIRST orange asshole campaign
It has not made a difference & I recently realized why (aside from, y'know, tens of thousands of Chinese & Russian social media bots gaming algorithms to inject false narratives into the mainstream to influence elections & democracy in multiple countries...)
It's because facts do not matter to him anymore
This is a belief system very much like religion - it might as well be religion
It is impervious to facts & science
Yet this is someone who I once considered highly intelligent & I still cannot understand how he's fallen for all of this except that, deep down, he must have either a hollow core, or a core of hate, that wants everyone else in the world to be as secretly miserable as he is (which I only know because I've known him for decades - since high school - casual observers would never say "this guy is miserable & self-loathing")
Objectively, on paper, he is intelligent or at least was intelligent & high scoring enough to get into Ivy League universities when we were graduating high school (he did not go to any tho; neither of us could afford such universities; we went to the state university that would take literally anyone, at the time, & from which you had to work at getting kicked out)
This was formerly a pro-choice, pro-porn, pro-drug guy who has drunk the Kool-aid - he's still pro-porn & pro-drug but suddenly in the past 2 years, as "throw it back to the states" became the propaganda on X (his favorite social media, ugh), he started saying it should be thrown back to the states
This from a guy who used to say - in his 20s, 30s, 40s - that abortion should be available on demand at drive thrus (which was hyperbole ofc; obvs you can't get one at an actual drive thru; it was the concept of fast & easy access he was championing)
As these right wing evangelical positions have trended on X, they have come up in his speech the past couple of years (really the past decade, but it accelerated like the speed of light once he moved from FB to the post-Musk Twitter/X)
Because I've known him for so long, I've been able to say, "Huh, you never used to say/believe that over the last 40 years... Why the change, & why now?"
& even that does not get him to realize his opinions are being deliberately shaped by propaganda
He will deny it or say "well I always kind of thought that way" & when I say "dude, you've never been shy of sharing your opinions, whether people wanted to hear them or not, especially if not! so why haven't you mentioned this change of opinion until after X became your main source of 'news'?"
That gets evasions & subject changes because the idea that he didn't come up with these ideas on his own is unacceptable
He will share literally fake news from X & when I ask, "OK, I get that you don't trust mainstream media, with good reason; or the government, with good reason; or the medical/scientific establishment, not without good reason; but you'll just believe anything some clown you don't know on the Internet - who could be anywhere in the world despite his "US Navy Vet" trucker hat - says, without question?"
& his response is always subject changes & attacks on mainstream media/government/politicians/parties but never an answer to the actual question because there is no rational explanation & he knows it
& if I call him on the subject changes, he just ratchets up the subject changes & attack rhetoric as if I'm one of those easily offended wilting liberal flowers he can steamroll, which I'm not & never have been, so it's interesting (if sad) that he thinks what works on other people will work on me
Or maybe he just doubles down because there IS no rational explanation, idk

The only reason I continue to talk to him, really, is my oldest sister, who passed away a year ago in February, & was a big activist & organizer/coordinator of various (large) protests here, said "don't give up on him, don't fight or argue - just keep listening & questioning" because "he's a good egg"
& honestly he is, underneath all the sourball curmudgeon thorny exterior - the man has never not been there when I needed him & lots & lots of times when I didn't, just for fun
But this is becoming exhausting & I'm stressed out from not literally screaming "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!? WHERE IS MY FRIEND, YOU CRAZY POD PERSON WHO TOOK HIS PLACE??"

But please tell me how someone can maintain the cognitive dissonance of a high index of suspicion for the mainstream media, the government, & medicine/science, but not some Joe Blow clown on the Internet - as if somehow that guy (who's probably actually a Chinese or Russian bot) is telling the gospel truth & has a hidden mainline to the secrets of the universe

I can understand it in people who've not had the privilege of university education (my friend has)
or international travel (my friend has, multiple times, with me & others)
or who never left the neighborhood or town where they grew up (my friend did as soon as he could)
I cannot understand it in my formerly skeptical & always shrewd friend

As the fall semester came to an end, with everyone not wanting to part ways even for a just a month, Min Ho decides to invite the entire friend group for a winter getaway.
âWhereâs Y/n?â Asked Dae which made everyoneâs heads turn before the sound of snow crunching was heard.
You approached the group that was currently enjoying the hot tub, arms crossed to keep your robe shut. Min Ho suggested that the hot tub would be best way to relax after a day of travelling
âHi! Sorry Iâm late to the party,â you smiled whilst kicking off your slippers, then sliding your robe off your shoulders.
âHot damn girl,â Q said, overcame with astonishment. "Drop the workout routine asap please," he joked as everyone's eyes lingered on your figure.
âOh stop it,â you laughed and rolled your eyes. âThis old thing isnât worth the hype,â you insisted, but everyone wouldâve begged to differ.
The navy blue two piece you were sporting hugged all the right places. Your ass and tits looked like they needed saving. The sight was definitely giving body tea.
Everyone watched as you made your descent into the tub and sat in between Kitty and Min Ho. Kitty had given you a small wave whereas Min Ho could barely make eye contact. Various conversations continued but Min Ho remained in an unlike-him-silence.
He wondered how he had not noticed how hot you looked until now. Not saying that looks are everything, but Min Ho felt stuck on how he never gave you a second glance.
"-Right Min Ho?" Dae asks, turning to his best friend who was clearly zoning out.
"Sorry what?" Min Ho replied, snapping out of his trance.
"We're gonna be able to go skiing first thing tomorrow, right?" Dae reiterated, a slight tiredness in his voice due to Min Ho's lack of contribution to the conversation.
"Of course," Min Ho nodded before his gaze back on you, who was too busy chatting with Yuri and Kitty to realizing anything else.
"Woah okay, this is new," Q teased, as his eyes followed Min Ho's. "The bikini has got your eyes lurkin'" he says, making Jin snicker at the observation.
"What are you guys talking about?" you ask with an unaware smile on your lips, Min Ho's eyes instantly looking down.
"Min Ho here seems to have-" Q began.
"Shut it," Min Ho tsked before moving to leave the hot tub.
"Hey, we were just joking," Jin called out as Min Ho shuffled back into the house.
"What was that about?" Yuri questioned, all conversations now put on pause.
"Is Min Ho okay?" Kitty asked, looking to the other boys occupying the hot tub.
"He's just a little flustered," Dae replied, the feeling of worry instantly overcame you.
"Did I do something?" you say wide-eyed but to no response. "I'll go check on him," you say before making your way out of the tub and walking towards the house. "Min Ho?" your voice echoed throughout the home.
You noticed a light coming from inside the kitchen and chose to investigate. There stood Min Ho, chugging a bottle of water with his slim yet toned physique being illuminated by the refrigerator light. He began to cough up said water after realizing your presence.
"Bloody hell, you scared me," he coughed, covering his face with the inside of his elbow. "What is it Y/n?" he asks while shutting the fridge door.
"What's with you?" you quizzed, "Ever since I joined you guys outside, you've been quiet and when I tried to converse with you-you run back inside!" you add with a hint of frustration in your voice.
"It's not my fault-"
"-So it's mine? What did I do wrong?" you cut off, urgently wanting an answer as to why your friend was avoiding you.
"Y/n, it's because y-you literally look like t-that!" Min Ho exclaimed as if it were common knowledge. "How else is a guy supposed to act when you decide walk around wearing something like that?" he questioned.
"Is what I have on not okay? Was there something in my hair?" you blabbered in response, instantly being overcame with the self-conscious feeling.
"It's fact that when I saw you earlier, I wish you didn't have anything on" Min Ho muttered in an almost whisper like volume.
The realization finally hit you, Min Ho had been eyeing you since you stepped into the hot tub. You face flushed a bright red, clearly flattered by the words that just came out of his mouth.
"So what you're saying is-"
"What I'm saying is that you look almost too good," Min Ho said, his voice deep and eyes darkened like a lion about to pounce on his next prey.
The small distance between the two of you shut in almost an instant, his hand cupped the side of your face gently. You could've sworn that the beat of your heart could be heard from miles away.
Your lack of response gave Min Ho time to lift you up and place you on the kitchen counter. Accidentally, you let out a small whimper at the feeling of the cold tile touching your skin. Min Ho felt as if he could've finished off that noise alone.
Standing between your legs, Min Ho's hands traveled all the way back down to your ass. You watched his eyes really take in your body, as if he could drink you up like a glass of water.
"Tell me to stop, and I will" Min Ho whispered as he gave your plump skin a squeeze.
Leaning in with your lips close to his ear, finally you replied, "I don't think I want you to stop".
Min Ho took this as his green light and you felt as his hands unclasped your bikini top. Grabbing the piece of clothing, he tossed away fand his eyes settled on your breast.
Biting his lip, Min Ho took one of each into his hands. "Beautiful. You are so beautiful Y/n," he said with is his accent thick, almost like he was about to melt at the sight of you.
You gasped at the feeling of his breath on your tits, causing a domino effect of butterflies and goosebumps to cover you. Min Ho chuckled at this, rubbing your nipples with his thumb in a circular motion.
Eyes closed; you threw your head back at the sensation before feeling something foreign come in contact with your breast. Min Ho's tongue began exploring your chest. It was as if he was trying to paint a picture.
His grasp on your tits became slightly more secure as he was egged on by your moans. He was marking his territory all over you with bright red hickeys.
Your half assed attempt to stifle your moans was with the palm of your hand. Min Ho however loved how loud you were getting for him and yanked your hand away from your face.
"I want to hear you," he insisted, pulling his lips away from your chest for a mere moment. "I want to hear you all night," he smirked, leaning in for a kiss.
"Uh guys?" a voiced that belonged to Yuri called out. "Is everything alright?" she asked, her voice trailing off into the hallway probably in search of you both.
Min Ho looked down with a smile on his face before getting your swim top from the ground. You quickly put it back on then pulled your hair to the front to cover the marks Min Ho left behind.
"W-we're here Yuri!" you replied hopping off the counter and walking out of the kitchen with Min Ho right behind you.
As Yuri came walking back towards you guys, her head tilted to the side in confusion, "What were you guys doing over there in the dark?"
"Just got some water," Min Ho replied, which seemingly convinced Yuri enough for her to walk back outside. "I'm not done with you yet," he whispered in your ear, giving your ass a slap.

You had met Luke at Umich not too long ago. Despite being quiet and unassuming around most people, he was rowdy and playful with your friend group, always bringing an easy energy to the room. He was funny, considerate, and far more polite than the average guy youâd met at your new university.
Today your friend group decided on hanging out in one of the larger dorms, so that thereâs more room for everyone to actually fit. Luke, as usual, is roughhousing with his friends, their laughter echoing through the room. In the middle of their chaos, Luke accidentally bumps into you, nearly knocking you off balance.
âOh, shit, my bad! Iâm sorry Y/n,â he blurts, steadying you with wide, apologetic eyes.
âLukey always finding excuses to touch his girlfriend.â Dylan teases, his grin wide and knowing.
âSheâs not my girlfriend,â Luke shoots back instantly, looking a little flustered, his tone shifts into something firmer. âDonât be weird like that. Itâs not funny to make her uncomfortable.â
Turning back to you, his expression softens into a sheepish smile. âI really am sorry, Y/n. Iâll be more careful.â
You nod, offering a polite smile. âItâs okay.â You can tell he feels bad, but before you can say anything else, his friends pulled him back into their conversation. You stay quiet, still too shy to fully insert yourself, being new to this circle of people.
Later that day, the group bundles up for the cold weather and heads to the UMich football game. As everyone files into the bleachers, Luke maneuvers himself to stand next to you. It was hard not to notice, and you could easily hear Dylan snickering.
Luke rolls his eyes but doesnât budge, determined to put himself out there. After a moment, he glances at you, his face softening when he notices your rosy cheeks from the cold.
âSo, uh⌠is this your first football game? I mean, UMich game?â He stumbles, trying to get his question out without looking stupid, âYouâve probably been to other football games before, but⌠yeah, first here?â
You canât help but smile at how nervous he seems. âYeah. This is my first.â
His face lights up at your response. âCool! Youâll like it! These games are a lot of fun.â
You tuck your hands deeper into your jacket pockets, shivering slightly. âI hope so. Itâs freezing out here.â
Luke chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck. âYeah, Michigan weather can be brutal. Youâll get used to it, though! I grew up here⌠well, partly in Canada too. Oh, but I was born in New Hampshire. Not that it mattersâŚâ He trails off, fully aware that heâs rambling but powering through anyway. âWhat Iâm saying is, Iâm used to the cold. And donât worry, these games are always worth it. My brothers and I go all the time. Actually, weâve got a lake house we visit in the summer together tooâmaybe you could come with sometime!â He slows down, hoping heâs not coming off too strong. âYou know, if youâre around.â
You listen patiently, letting him overshare whatever his heart desires, âIâll probably go home over the summer since itâs my first year here, but I bet I could find time to visit for a bit somewhere in there.â
âReally? Yeah⌠yeah, thatâd be cool,â he says, his smile growing. He glances down and realizes exactly how close heâd moved towards you while talking.
âOh, Iâm sorry,â he says, quickly shuffling back.
You donât mind the closeness, but you werenât gonna make it more awkward by telling him so. The two of you continued chatting, the conversation flowing naturally until the game ends and everyone decides to head back to their dorms.
A few days later, the group gathers at Lukeâs place for a movie. Youâre curled up in a beanbag, with Luke sitting next to you on the floor, his head resting against your seat. The movie drags on, and you find yourself nodding off.
However, your eyes quickly snap open when you feel a tap on your shoulder.
âHey, do you want to help me make popcorn for everyone?â Luke asks softly. You nod, grateful for something to keep you awake. He stands and offers you his large hand, which you take without hesitation.
As he leads you into the kitchen, he glances back and notices you rubbing your eyes.
He laughs quietly. âTired?â
You nod, stifling a yawn. He realizes heâs still holding your hand and quickly lets go, scratching the back of his neck. âUh, sorry.â
âItâs fine,â you say, leaning against the counter as he grabs the popcorn supplies.
âYou know, if youâre that tired, you can just crash in my room after this,â he offers casually, glancing at you.
Your eyes widen slightly. âOh! No, you donât have to do that.â
âI want to,â he insists, his tone genuine. âThose beanbags suck to sleep on. Trust me, I knowâmy brothers used to make me sleep on them when we were kids.â
You laugh softly. âWhy?â
âWell I was the youngest, and sometimes I didnât want to sleep in my own room at nightâŚâ He trails off, suddenly regretting his honesty.
âYou were scared of the dark?â you tease, smile somehow looking even more amused than before.
âMonsters, actually,â he corrects, with mock indignation.
Your laughter bubbles out, the sound light and free. Itâs the most youâve laughed since coming to UMich, and Luke was beaming with pride at the sight of it.
When the popcorn is ready the two of you head back into the living room. The group eagerly grabs at the fresh bowl as you settle back into your beanbag. Unsurprisingly, not even two minutes pass before your eyes start drooping again.
A soft laugh from Luke is the last thing you register before you feel yourself being lifted. You instinctively tuck your head into the crook of his neck, his warmth lulling you further into sleep. He carries you upstairs with ease and gently lays you on his bed, carefully tucking the covers around you.
âJust get some sleep,â he murmurs quietly, mostly to himself.
As he turns to leave, you reach out and catch his hand. Your voice is soft, barely above a whisper. âPlease stay,â you whisper. âYou can lay with me.â
âUh⌠are you sure? I can sleep on the beanbag. Itâs not a big deal.â he says, hesitantly,
You frown, words laced with tired honesty. âI thought you hated sleeping on the bean bags?â
âI thought you hated when people touch you?â he counters softly, eyes searching yours.
âI do,â you admit. âBut itâs okay when itâs you.â
His lips curve into a small, shy smile as he climbs into bed beside you. You waste no time cuddling into him, your head resting on his chest. One of his hands caresses your hair tenderly, while the other settles lightly on your lower back.
The two of you know this isnât something âjust friendsâ would do, but neither of you seem to mind. You were content with that in the moment. As you drift off to sleep, wrapped in his comforting presence, you decide the feelings youâre starting to acknowledge can wait until tomorrow.

Summary: Finding the perfect gift for Spencer was not easy, but you did it.
It had taken you weeks to figure out the perfect gift for Spencer Reid. Weeks of mental back and forth, second-guessing, and doubt. Because really, what do you give someone like Spencer? A man with an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory, and an endless well of knowledge? Someone who could rattle off obscure facts about obscure things before youâd even finished your coffee?
Youâd been desperate to give him something thoughtful, something that wouldnât just end up collecting dust on a shelf in his apartment. And you think youâd finally nailed it. Or at least, you hoped you had.
Now, standing in the BAUâs break room with a carefully wrapped box tucked under your arm, you felt your nerves kick in. This was the first chance youâd gotten to give him his present, and the anticipation was eating you alive.
âHey,â his voice broke through your thoughts, soft but warm.
You turned to see him standing in the doorway, a slight smile tugging at his lips. His messenger bag was slung over one shoulder, and his scarf hung loosely around his neck, a hint of the autumn chill still clinging to him from outside.
âHey,â you said, suddenly feeling shy under his gaze. âI, uh, have something for you.â
âFor me?â His eyebrows lifted in surprise, his curiosity immediately piqued.
You nodded, holding out the box with both hands. âItâs⌠kind of a late birthday gift. I thought you might like it.â
Spencer set his bag down on the counter and took the box from you with the kind of care youâd use to handle something fragile. His long fingers brushed against yours briefly, and you tried not to think too much about the way it made your heart flutter.
âYou didnât have to get me anything,â he said softly, his gaze flickering up to meet yours.
âI wanted to,â you replied, your voice quieter than you intended. âJust⌠open it.â
He hesitated for a moment, then carefully peeled back the wrapping paper, his movements methodical and deliberate. When he lifted the lid of the box, his breath hitched.
Inside was a leather-bound journal, hand-stitched and worn just enough to give it character. But it wasnât just the journal itself that made it special. On the first page, youâd written a small note explaining that youâd already filled some of the pages with questions and promptsâthings you thought heâd enjoy pondering or writing about. Things that would challenge him or make him smile.
And tucked into the back pocket of the journal was a collection of vintage fountain pens youâd spent weeks hunting down online, knowing how much he loved handwriting notes and letters.
He stared at the journal in stunned silence, his fingers gently tracing the cover. When he finally looked up at you, his eyes were wide and glistening.
âThis isâŚâ he trailed off, clearly struggling to find the words. âThis is incredible.â
âDo you like it?â you asked nervously, biting your bottom lip.
âLike it?â he repeated, his voice filled with disbelief. âI love it. This is⌠I donât even know what to say.â
You laughed softly, relief flooding through you. âYou donât have to say anything. I just⌠I wanted you to have something that felt like you. Something thoughtful.â
He opened the journal to the first page, his eyes scanning over the note youâd written. You watched as a small, almost shy smile spread across his face, and your chest tightened at how beautiful he looked in that moment.
âThis is one of the most thoughtful gifts anyone has ever given me,â he said, his voice quiet but full of emotion.
You felt your cheeks flush under his gaze. âI just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you. Youâre always so thoughtful with everyone else, Spencer. I figured it was time someone returned the favor.â
He set the journal down on the counter and stepped closer to you, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that made your breath catch.
âThank you,â he said, his voice barely above a whisper. âReally. This means so much to me.â
âYouâre welcome,â you replied, your voice just as soft.
For a moment, neither of you moved. The air between you felt charged, heavy with something unspoken. And then, just when you thought you might drown in the tension, he reached out and pulled you into a hug.
It wasnât just any hug, though. It was the kind of hug that made you feel safe, like you were exactly where you were supposed to be. His arms wrapped around you tightly, and you could feel the steady beat of his heart against your chest.
âThank you,â he murmured again, his voice muffled against your hair.
You closed your eyes, allowing yourself to savor the moment. âYouâre welcome, Spencer.â
When he finally pulled back, there was a softness in his expression that youâd never seen before. It made your heart ache in the best way.
âWould youâŚâ he hesitated, looking almost nervous. âWould you want to come over tonight? Iâd love to show you how I use the journal. Maybe we could talk about some of the prompts together.â
You blinked, caught off guard by the invitation. But the hopeful look in his eyes made it impossible to say no.
âIâd like that,â you said, smiling softly.
The grin that spread across his face was worth every second of doubt youâd had while planning his gift. And as you left the break room, your heart felt a little lighter, knowing that youâd made Spencer Reid feel as special as he deserved to feel.

okay so I have Opinions TM about this because. well. am asexual. know asexual people. Been Like That before.
I had a friend. She's not my friend anymore. One of the reasons why is that she was a very sex negative asexual. Not repulsed, negative. Sex negative means Against It As A Concept. Repulsed means "ew, I really don't want to hear about any of it and I'm kinda disgusted by the way sexual attraction seems to run the world but yknow, that's me, y'all do you", right. It's a different thing. Some aces don't understand that.
I've known aces who think it's the identity for sex negativity. Aces who are attracted to people in an allo way (!!!) but think sex is gross. The friend I had was like that. Afaik she just... hated men so much she decided that wanting sex with women As A Guy is disgusting behavior so all sex is like that. Because she'd only use the "sex repulsed" card when interacting with guys. Because she was a lesbian and identified as such. Now yeah there are ace lesbians. I've also known a few of those. But that's not the point, the point is that so many people who don't want to have conventional PiV sex find the ace label and think it's for them.
Now uhhh my personal experience with the sex negativity excused as being sex repulsed mindset. So I have ocd. something most people around me know about. Over the years of Me Having It (so like... since I was 8 ig) it manifested in different ways. One of the most annoying intrusive thoughts I'd dealt with was just... my friends, my family members, in sexual situations. Not with me, just kinda... abstract, I guess, but one time I had a wholeass flashback because my friend told me he did indeed sleep with his girlfriend regularly so that's something. It's not really fun, imagining your two platonic-and-nothing-else friends Having Sex In Your Head and not being able to stop it. Also yeahhh the trauma def played a role too. Like, that's most likely what triggered me to Have OCD in the first place, and it took me a long time to get over that (mostly because I couldn't really tell anyone about it. I'm not gonna get into details but let's just say people don't really like to think that a young girl could hurt someone like that).
So now I'm in a relationship. First I've ever had. And I had to deal with Everything by being thrown head first into it. The first year was Hard, with another aspect of the ocd (it's always the ocd) being that I'd question my identity a lot. Sure I was dating someone but I was still ace because I didn't want to have sex with them right? Sure I don't mind the thought but I'm still ace because I wouldn't do it irl? SURE I CAN IMAGINE MYSELF DOING IT IRL BUT I'M STILL ACE, RIGHT, ACES CAN HAVE SEX?????? on top of dealing with Gender Questioning, too. Fun times!!!
But uh. yeah. turns out that I needed some help processing the trauma and now I'm like... the kink-cyclopedia for my friends or something. Like the person in the tags said, it's mostly theoretical. And funny thing is I've Been Like This even when I was a teenager!!! But I both pushed it down because That's Not How Aces Are and overplayed it because I wanted my friends to like me and at the time it seemed as if their only interest was Talking About Sex (idk, teenagers can be like that sometimes, or it can feel that way if you don't relate).
Anyway, yeah. For anyone who's like this (thinking ace is the label for sexual trauma survivors; thinking you're ace because you don't want sex; thinking being ace means being above sexual desires and that somehow making you better than everyone else), I've been there. And it was miserable. I'm still ace, because guess what, I'm still not sexually attracted to anyone besides maybe my partner and even then I'm not sure. But like... the reason why puritans are miserable isn't just because they're all horny and repressed. Building your whole identity on top of Hating Something will always make you miserable. Try to avoid that if you can.

Itâs officially been a decade since youâve come to the devildom. A whole ten years since that day that you were brought here.
And you couldnât be happier. Thereâs a party at the demon lords castle for you with all the people you love and care about, except you canât help but feel like someoneâs been watching you the whole time youâve been hereâŚ
You brush it off when you notice itâs just Solomon, youâve been noticing that he likes to do that lately. For what reason you donât know.
But heâs been studying your features, watching your face as it moves. Itâs been ten years and nobody around you has aged. But you have.
Of course itâs not really that noticeable to normal people. Your eyes now have the faintest of wrinkles around them from smiling so much, and your hair has a few strands of grey.
Nothing truly noticeable to the naked eye, after all youâre not that old. But Solomon notices. He always notices when someone he loves shows signs of age. And now, youâre doing it too.
And after the first signs he knows he doesnât have long left⌠of course itâs actually a good fifty or so years but when youâre immortal you really donât have a concept of time.
But this time heâs not letting you go. No heâs not letting it happen again. He told himself at the start he wouldnât get attached but here he is, completely in love with you.
He goes back to the human world that night, not even bothering to think about going back to purgatory hall with the angels. After all, his spell books are at his own home in the human world.
He spends countless hours flipping through them, every single one. Most he acquired through the years, but some of them are hand written by him.

âFine,â he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck in frustration. He knew there was no point in pushing further. Grace was like a fortress, guarding whatever secrets you had entrusted her with. Talking to her felt futile, like arguing with a wall that refused to crack.
âI wonât press you for more answers,â he said, his voice softening, though the tension lingered in his tone. âAt least tell me thisâis she in trouble? Is someone trying to hurt her or threaten her?â His jaw tightened as he spoke, his concern leaking through despite his best effort to remain composed.
Grace hesitated before answering. âNo,â she replied firmly, her gaze unwavering.
A part of Bucky felt a wave of relief at her reassurance. If Grace said you werenât in danger, then maybe you were safe. But another part of him sank deeper into confusion and sadness. For two years, you had been his constant, his safe harbor.
You werenât just his wife on paper; you had been someone he could rely on, someone who listened to him without judgment. Now, the thought that you might be facing something he had overlooked made him feel hollow.
Had he missed something? Overlooked a sign? The thought gnawed at him as he stood there in silence. You had always been a good listener, absorbing his worries and frustrations like a sponge. Better than any therapist heâd ever paid for. In fact, since marrying you, he had stopped going to therapy altogether.

âMr. Barnes, itâs about the arrangement,â the voice on the other end said.
âWhat is it?â His tone was curt, impatient.
âYour wife has decided not to renew the contract.â
He gritted his teeth. âI know that already.â
âYes, sir,â the voice continued, cautiously. âBut she also returned the money you gave her.â
Bucky froze, his grip on the phone tightening. âWhat?â
âShe left it with us. Iâm sorry for the way this unfolded, Mr. Barnes. If you have time, weâd like to meet and discuss this in person.â
He clenched his jaw. âIâll think about it.â
âUnderstood. One more thingâMiss L/N left a message. She wanted you to know that sheâs sorry.â
Bucky ended the call without a word. His mind was racing, a cacophony of thoughts and emotions he couldnât untangle.
As he turned to leave, Grace finally broke her silence. âShe told me to tell you not to look for her,â she said, her voice low but resolute.
Her words landed like a punch to his gut. He turned back to face her, his expression a mixture of disbelief and sorrow. His fists clenched at his sides, and for a moment, he didnât say anything.
âDonât look for her,â Grace repeated, softer this time, as if trying to ease the blow.
Buckyâs lips parted, but no words came out. He swallowed hard, his throat tight. Without another word, he turned and walked away, her parting message crushing him with every step.

Many were too jaded, too broken, or simply unwilling to risk their hearts again, yet they craved the semblance of companionship.
Companionship didnât necessarily mean intimacy. Some sought emotional connections without physical ties, while others wanted a blend of friendship and trust. In essence, the agency sold what its clients desired most: a reliable partner tailored to their needs.
Thatâs where Bucky came in. He wasnât looking for love. He needed someone he could trust, someone who fit seamlessly into his life. You had checked every box. You charmed his parents and, more importantly, his grandfatherâa critical seal of approval.

She leaned forward slightly, her expression neutral but observant. âThank you for making time to meet with me, Mr. Barnes,â she began.
Buckyâs voice was clipped. âDo you know what she did?â
âYes,â the CEO replied calmly. âShe came here yesterday and asked me to give you these.â She placed two envelopes on the table between them.
âThis one contains the check for the money she received. Sheâs returning it to you. The other is a letter she wanted you to have.â
Buckyâs gaze dropped to the envelopes. They were unassuming, just thin paper, yet they felt heavier than the multimillion-dollar contracts he signed daily. He hesitated, his fingers brushing over the edges. Despite his composed exterior, uncertainty gnawed at him.
âWould you like me to open them for you?â the CEO asked gently.
âNo, thank you.â His voice was firm, though his hand trembled slightly as he picked up the envelopes.
Slowly, he opened the first one. Inside was a check for the exact amount youâd received when signing the contractâ$2 million for two years.
His chest tightened. So that damn $1 was enough to make you leave? Why?

He pressed a hand to his forehead, closing his eyes as the weight of realization settled over him. He thought back to the countless times youâd listened to him, your quiet understanding, your patience. Had he ever done the same for you? Had he missed the signs that you were unhappy?
He cleared his throat, breaking the silence. âDid you see her face yesterday?â he asked, his voice low but steady.

He paused, his eyes narrowing slightly as he regarded her. After a brief hesitation, he reached out and shook her hand, his grip firm but curt. âThis is the last time Iâll be here.â
Her smile didnât falter, remaining calm and composed. âSafe travels, Mr. Barnes. And thank you for using our services.â

Buckyâs stomach dropped. His mind raced, scrambling for an explanation. Did Grandpa know everything?

âShut up, you stupid boy!â Paul snapped, his voice rising with a force that belied his age. His hand moved to his chest as if to steady himself. âYou fooled me twice, Bucky. Twice! First, you made me believe your marriage was real. Then, you made me believe I finally had a granddaughter.â
Bucky instinctively stepped closer, his hand resting gently on Paulâs shoulder, his other moving to massage the elderâs chest. âIâm sorry, Grandpa. Iââ
Paul shook him off, his eyes blazing with disappointment. âAnd donât get me started on that ridiculous matchmaking agency. Itâs absurd! What happened to normal relationships? Real love?â
Bucky swallowed hard, his throat dry.
Paulâs voice cracked, the anger giving way to heartbreak. âYou broke this old manâs heart, Bucky. I thought⌠I thought I could finally go in peace, knowing you had a wife. A good girl by your side. But nowâŚâ

Bucky nodded stiffly, his expression a mix of determination and frustration. Without another word, he turned and strode out of the study, leaving Paul alone by the fire.

Bucky straightened up, his posture shifting from defeat to determination. "Where is she?" His voice was sharper now, his body leaning forward, eager for any hint of where you might be.

Okay because everyone who reads this seems to be stupid lets do some clarification, on AI and data centers. Is AI using more power and water than anything else in the world and singlehandedly ruining the world and the environment? No. Is it using more power than some small countries and within the next 20 years going to account for double digit percentage of the energy and water by the entire world? Yes! AI uses way more power than normal Internet usage infact this article tells us this a single chatGPT question takes 30mL of water the fact that a lot of other things listed are measured in how much is used in 30 minutes/or an hour should be rather telling. Many applications of chatGPT that are not just using it's online prompt but using its various API make more than 1 request a minute (meaning in an hour 1800mL) this comparison now does not seem as favourable especially with everything using AI. If a Google search previously used 0.3 watt-hours it now uses 3 watt-hours, this is a lot when we start adding it up. It is true without doubt that AI uses more energy and more power than similar things in the internet without AI, this is a good reason to be critical of adding it to things we are adding energy cost to things that already cost nonzero energy.

Google itself reports that it's emissions have increased by 50% largely due to its increased usage of AI, spending more energy for not much actual benefit is bad, particularly if we think about how we just passed the 1.5 degree milestone for heating which is really fucking bad! We should be decreasing our energy by any amount, not increasing it for no fucking benefit!

If you don't wanna believe me because I'm a Tumblr user who doesn't even study this what do I know, surely the substance person knows more. Well don't worry some people way smarter than me at Yale want to tell you this too.
Is animal agriculture, (and agriculture in general) using a lot of water yeah no one is disagreeing with this, but to use it as an argument that AI is fine is just the classic comic strip by Matt Bors of you critique society yet you live in it curious. It is irrelevant to the current discussion. This is a different post, discussing the issues of Animal agriculture, caring and talking about AI issues isn't taking away space or taking away the conversation about animal agriculture. Climate change is caused by a wide spectrum of issues and discussion of one of the issues doesn't make the others less important. Will use of AI singlehandedly bring forth the destruction of the world and set earth on fire? No, ofc it won't. It sure as hell not help the fact we are already doing that by increasing our already strained power though. But I would like to add the moves by Microsoft and Google to use Nuclear power are actually really good! It will lessen emissions that would be caused by their increasing AI usage tremendously, should they just not use stupid power... Yeah ofc, but that is not going to happen, this is America money is greater than any number of lives, than any number of floods and fires, than any increase in temperature. Nuclear power is good, our energy usage isn't going to suddenly come down nor are we going to invent a magic device to fix everything.
I think almost all of the environmental case against AI is factually incorrect fear mongering, or "misinformation"

you think often of how nurses should speak and relate to patients, and i highly appreciate knowing you put this kind of thought in and share it with other nurses. but as someone who often occupies the patient position, i'm curious if you have any thoughts on ways for patients to interact with nurses, when we are in decent enough control of our faculties to make choices about that. i would like this knowledge from both an altruistic perspective in recognizing nursing is difficult and not wanting to voluntarily make it difficulter, and a wholly self interested position of knowing nurses who like interacting with me give better care. what helps as a professional and as a person?
I'm surprised how much I had to think about this question. What do I want patients to do? I don't know. A lot of it is basic human decency, some of it is specific to my nursing workflow, but overall I find it complicated saying what patients "should" do. I cut out about 500 words of navel gazing from this post explaining why. Here are answers I've come up, in no order and not of equal importance.
--a lot of it is basic "polite interaction with another person in a professional setting." If you're asking this question, you probably care about treating people well in general. If you wouldn't say it to a barista, would you say it to your nursing tech?
--don't do joke answers to basic orientation questions like "what's your name" and "where are you right now", because it's annoying to have to clarify if you're actually confused or if you're fucking with me. I know they're annoying. Just answer correctly so we can move on.
--have some flexibility and patience. Hospitals have a lot of moving parts, and each person interacting with you has other patients that also need care. My hospital and state has mandated nursing ratios. The maximum amount of patients I've had in one assignment is five. Other hospitals have far less protection, and nurses may have six, eight, twelve other patients. Our respiratory therapists each cover multiple units. One CNA might cover the entire floor. I know if melatonin is the difference between you sleeping or not sleeping, it is very frustrating for someone to bring it late. I just ask you keep in mind that there's dozens of reasons that might happen besides someone ignoring you.
--help us help you. If you can lift your arm up for me to put a blood pressure cuff on, why are you holding your arm completely limp so it's like putting pants on a toddler than doesn't want to get dressed? If you can help roll yourself in bed, help us roll you. If your IV is beeping, hit the call light so someone can come turn it off. If you don't have urgency issues and you can tell you're going to need to go to the bathroom soon, call before it's an emergency. If your IV hurts when I give you medication at 8 pm, tell me then, not when I'm trying to give you your midnight antibiotic and all the evening staff have already gone home.
--if you don't understand how something works in the hospital (what happens when you hit the call light, how often are people going to take your vital signs, why can't I get up and walk around the room), just ask. It's really easy for people who work in a hospital every day to forget other people aren't familiar with it.
--don't treat doctors noticeably better than you treat everyone else.
--pet peeve number one: if I give you pills in a med cup, you can just use the med cup to get the pills to your mouth. You don't need to pour the pills into the palm of your hand and then pop them into your mouth. You're gonna drop the pills, and I'm gonna end up on the floor looking for a tiny tablet of dilaudid.
--bundle requests, especially low-importance ones. If you ask for crackers and you know crackers make you thirsty, just request your drink at the same time. Don't make me walk to your room, the nutrition room, and your room again ten minutes later.
--I don't expect people in the hospital to be pleasant all the time, and I don't take snappiness personally, but I always really appreciate the patients who apologize or even just acknowledge their behavior.
--I love patients who acknowledge my work. I don't need effusive praise or a thousand thank yous. It means a lot for someone to just be like "hey, thanks for your help tonight."
--have patience with repeating yourself. If you've got something important and complicated to convey, practice a quick understandable blurb that takes no brain power from you. There may be something that you've told the staff a dozen times, and it may be documented in your chart, but in the hospital you see many people who have never worked with you before and for whatever reason didn't read that info in your chart. For example, I'm a float pool nurse which means I almost never see the same patients twice. I can get sent to a different unit and a different patient load at literally any time. I can't familiarize myself with complicated documentation or read every nursing note. Especially not for patients I know I will only have for four hours. I know repeating yourself is annoying, I know it sucks to have to explain your bathroom routine or your preferred pain med or when you like to get pills or whatever every shift. And it's great when people make that information very easy to find! But if you just accept the reality you'll be repeating yourself a lot anyway, it makes doing so less frustrating.
--pet peeve number two: don't exaggerate to make a point. This is such a human thing to do, and god knows I catch myself doing it all the time, but you can raise objections in a way that's factually true. I've got a lot of concrete data that people are very often wrong when they say they're been "waiting for hours" after hitting a call light. The computer has a time stamp of the last time I was in your room. I know it was 45 minutes ago. There's a timer by the call light. I know you called twenty minutes ago. And I know it feels much longer when you are waiting for basic cares or pain control or anything pressing. Things can be unacceptable without needing to be exaggerated. When the exaggeration is the base of your complaint, it undercuts your credibility. Honestly I find it really irritating when I spend a disproportionate amount of my shift with one patient only for that patient to tell another staff member that I've been neglecting them. Just say I did a bad job, don't pretend I wasn't there at all.
--don't ask me to pull my mask down so you can see my face. like cmon dude.
--I'm not saying you have to send all your visitors out of the room when I'm there, I'm just saying have some sympathy for how nerve-wracking it can be to do your job while being intensely watched by five other deeply invested people with limited context for your actions.
--this is a nebulous and difficult one. You might have a lot of emotion that you don't know what to do with. What you shouldn't do with it is channel it into every interaction you have with a healthcare worker. If you feel guilty about how you haven't visited your mother in a while and now she's in the hospital, you gotta find ways to deal that don't involve getting extremely passive aggressive at your mother's night nurse.

he isn't just your partner, luffy is your best friend. he knows loneliness and loss too well for comfort and he doesn't want you to ever feel the same way. in a lot of ways, it feels like luffy knows you better than yourself. you never have to question how luffy feels, he's honest and wears his heart on his sleeves. he loves you and he shows it freely through his actions. he doesn't lie to himself and he doesn't want you lying to yourself whether it be how you feel about him or any other aspect of your life. so much love flows from monkey d. luffy and his person for any and everyone, but you're someone special above the rest. you're a treasure among treasures. you're someone who makes him happy and he strives to make you happy. your dreams are just as important to him as his own. what makes you happy might not make always align with his own but he's sure to approach those things with with enthusiasm.

zoro's dream is to become the world's strongest swordsman. there's not really much else he took into account otherwise as far as what may happen on the path there. he couldn't have predicted luffy, the crew and her certainly never predicted you. in spite of that, zoro hones in on you much like a traveler following a guiding light. his goals allow for much leeway on the path there, there's nothing holding back his devotion and loyalty to you. your relationship is a promise and nothing this man does makes you doubt this promise. there's a tenderness in how he touches you and approaches you but he doesn't doubt your own strength. he trusts in it as much as you trust in his. zoro's is a love that feels like it approaches a part of your lost youth. the things neither of you might have had the chance the done when you were younger but can now indulge in fully by each other's side. enjoy the ride.

much to no one's surprise, the man's a hopeless romantic. sanji heartily believes in soulmates and fated persons and can only hope he's someone lucky enough to have one of his own. despite being a flirt, sanji isn't one who loves casually. when sanji has his person, he's as loyal and dedicated as they come; investing as much you give him. any love you give him, he appreciates a hundred times fold. if given another chance at life, he truly means it when he says there isn't a thing in his life he'd change if he knows that is the path that will lead him right back to you. there's a darkness to sanji, however. one that doesn't allow him to truly see the value of his person. he stumbles much like a blindfolded child in his yearning in spite of this. he wants so much to make you happy that he needs to be reminded in the importance of his own happiness as well.

usopp's no stranger to unexpected and, at time's disastrous situations. being part of a crew such as his own, he's learned to be prepared for it. there's no rainbow without the rain and if you have no umbrella, usopp is right there to craft one with his ingenuity and the resources at hand. the days of his pessimism and cowardice aren't entirely gone, but when it comes to someone having your back you can count on usopp completely and so too can you trust his affections for you. he might not be the strongest person and he's not the bravest, but his love for you is only ten times stronger. he encourages your creativity and he's tactful when gauging your wellbeing. usopp's desire for strength only stems from his desire to protect those he holds most dear. a brave warrior of the sea won't strive for anything less. out of all the things he imagines for his future, your image is the clearest.

umm i donât have a name for this one!! no cwâs other than some angst and fem! reader (reader is referred to as a woman and uses she/her pronouns) :]
word count: 916 (my longest posted yet!!!)
imagining shigaraki who announces to the league that he found a temporary place to stay a few weeks after the base gets destroyed, answering zero questions as to how exactly he found a place for a group of villains to stay after they had seemingly exhausted all of their options (âsomeone owed me a favorâ was all he had said. none of them believed him).
theyâre all confused when they arrive at a relatively residential neighborhood. theyâre even more confused when their boss walks up to the front door of a random house as if heâs done it a thousand times before (he has. heâd always crawl back to this doorstep, always looking a little small and wounded).
and â not to be repetitive â but imagine their shock when the sweetest looking woman opens the door. you. youâre all smiles and sugar, giving their boss a wide smile before greeting the rest of them and inviting them inside. theyâre practically gawking at the way you dote on them as if theyâre normal houseguests and not a group of strangely dressed villains.
the blonde girl and the two men in masks are the only ones that introduce themselves (himiko, jin, and âcompressâ. you recognized them from tomuras previous explanations. he thought they were all pains in their own right, you couldnât bring yourself to agree). the others stay close by tomura, allowing him to guide them through the new environment (as if they had much of a choice). he hadnât said a word since the nice woman opened the door, even ignoring spinners insistent, whispered questions.
tomura suddenly stops, gesturing to three doors. âweâre taking up these two rooms, the garage, and the living room.â he points to the last door in the hallway. âthatâs the bathroom. figure it out amongst yourselves.â he explained flatly, making his way back to the main area of the house with nothing else said. they were left with more questions than when they had initially gotten there.
their boss had settled into a couch by the time they wandered back into the main area, slouched against an armrest with that blank look he wore whenever he was lost in thought. you had taken to the more talkative three, smiling softly as you answered their questions while offering them mugs of something warm (you couldnât help the softened look in your eyes when you saw the brief shock in their expressions at the gesture).
it was quiet for a while after that. peaceful, even⌠until you dropped a mug while trying to tidy up your kitchen. it had been a while since the league had seen their boss suddenly so alert, no hesitation in his movements when he briskly made his way into the kitchen. they had braced themselves to hear yelling or some form of harshness. anything to express his displeasure towards the sudden interruption to his thoughts. only, thatâs not what happened. at all, actually.
you were a little more frantic, murmuring soft apologies while crouched down and picking up the larger shards of ceramic. only the three at the table could see what was going on, but the quiet way everything was handled was enough for everyone to connect some dots. tomura hadnât said anything, simply moving down to your level to help you pick up the bigger shards.
when he finally spoke, it was like witnessing a different person. âsoftâ was an adjective the league wasnât familiar with. they didnât have the privilege of really knowing what that word meant⌠they understood it better now though, with the way their boss was reassuring you in a quiet voice. his words were scolding as per usual, (even you werenât immune to his small lectures urging you to âbe more carefulâ) but he said them with a lightness none of them had heard before.
and then you touched him and suddenly they understood (those who witnessed it, of course). the contact was brief, just a small, grateful squeeze to his shoulder. something so easily overlooked by the general population⌠but they knew their boss well. they knew the weight of the small gesture. it was so painfully normal, he didnât even blink an eye at the small touch.
the three at the table â who usually had had so much to say â could only spare each other small, knowing glances. the others that had settled on the couch still looked expectant, as if waiting for the storm that was soon to come pouring down (they couldâve waited years, it was never going to happen).
the league stood at your house for two weeks after that, the interactions between you and the members short but sweet. tomura had bunked in the garage, walking into the house throughout the night with the weak excuse of having to use the bathroom.
they decided not to call him out on his lie.
you remained kind even as they were leaving, wishing them well and softly urging them to stay safe. only himiko noticed the look you and tomura shared as he walked past you. a secret something she was sure only the two of you knew the meaning of. she found herself foolishly hoping that the pretty lady who had taken care of them would be okay.
you found yourself foolishly hoping to see them again (in another life, maybe. things would be better then.)

(Y/N) was sitting in the Judgement Day clubhouse when everything went down. Damian was warming up his match while everyone else was watching Rheaâs match.Â
âWhat is Dom doing?â she questions, getting everyoneâs attention.Â
They watched as Dom grabbed the chair from Rheaâs hand, distracting her, and letting Liv get the upper hand. Dom did it again which caused Liv to win.Â
âIâm gonna kill him,â Damian mudders before storming out of the clubhouse. (Y/N) gets up and quickly follows her friend.
They get to the gorilla just as Rhea gets back there, Liv and Dom are nowhere to be seen.Â
Rhea makes eye contact with both of them and collapses into their arms. Damian and (Y/N) were shocked at her reaction. Rhea started to shake as her tears streamed down her face.
âOh Rhea,â Damian whispers into her head. âCome on, let's get you cleaned up,â he says, ushering her towards the womenâs locker room.
âMake sure she is ok,â Damian says before leaving for his match against Gunther.Â
(Y/N) sighs, mind reeling from what had just happened. She turns to Rhea who just looks broken. âCome on, let's get you washed up,â she ushers her friend towards the shower.
Rhea stood there, watching as (Y/N) set up the shower, water to the perfect temperature, the right body wash, etc. Â Panic set in across Rhea's face as she was about to leave to give her privacy. The panic attack was slowly creeping over Rhea.
âHey, hey, hey, Iâm not going anywhere. I will be in the other room if you need me ok?â Rhea nods. (Y/N) hugs her before letting Rhea be. As Rhea was in the shower, (Y/N) watched as Finn went and sabotaged Damianâs chance of winning.Â
âWeâll be alright,â she whispers, watching her once-perfect chosen family fall into disrepair. Â
Monday Night Raw
Damian was furious at his ex-friends. Turning against him was one thing but turning against Rhea was another. (Y/N) was stuck in the middle. Since Saturday night, Finn and Dom had been blowing up her phone, trying to get her to hear them out. She ignored them, not wanting to hear what they had to say.Â
She is sitting with Rhea in the womenâs locker room, Rhea is getting ready for her promo. She was putting on her boots while (Y/N) was watching her. She had just watched Rhea all of Saturday night and all day Sunday, trying to go through what had happened during Summerslam. Her phone buzzed again, breaking her trance on the Australian. It was another blitz of texts from Finn and Dom.Â
âIt is them again?â Rhea asks, sitting beside her. Â
âYeah, Iâm just gonna block them at this point,â (Y/N) comments, going into their contacts, and hitting the block button. She sighs, leaning back into the concrete wall of the dressing room, and observing the woman sitting beside her.Â
âI am proud of you,â the words slip from her mouth quickly. Rhea zones back in onto her. A small smile creeps across her black-painted lips. âYou got hit by a lot of stuff in almost 48 hours and you, and Damian, have done a good job of being there for each other.â
Rhea brings her closer, hugging her. âYou should give yourself more credit, you have gone through just as much as we have.â
