Y/n knew she needed to focus on the race ahead, it was the most important race in her career so far. If she won the championship, it would give her a huge advantage of trying to get on the grid in formula 1 next year.

Her family not being there did hurt her, however after what happened yesterday she was quite glad that they weren’t there as she didn’t want to face them.

Her face lit up when she saw Toto, Susie, Lewis and George and Carmen entering her garage. The young girl ran straight into Lewis’s arms.

“Hey kiddo!” Lewis laughed as he caught the girl who threw herself at him.

“Hi!” Y/n giggled as she pulled away before hugging the other four there.

“How you feeling?” Carmen asked.

“Just nervous, but I think that’s just normal” Y/n said.

“You’ll do amazing Y/n, just think of it as a normal race” George added.

George and Carmen become quite fond of the young girl, ever since she joined the junior team. They took her under their wing and were always there when she needed them, which Y/n was very grateful for.

“Don’t worry about your family, they are just idiots for not being here” Toto said which let to Susie hitting him lightly and everyone chuckle.

“What he is trying to say, don’t think about any of it. All of us will be here for you when you finish the race, no matter what the result” Susie told her softly.

“I appreciate you guys being here so much, so thank you” Y/n said.

this album has been such a rewarding piece to create and im so glad that soon enough you will all be able to listen and enjoy it with me! one thing i love in particular about this album is the song ‘dress’

dress was originally a piece i started to write when making reputation however i felt it was right to keep it to myself, to keep it between my partner and i for a little while longer. however recently our lives have been changing for the better, and while that lid of privacy will still be on, i want to share more with you guys

Spooky Basket: Lewis Hamilton

description: You and your boyfriend surprise each other with spooky baskets for halloween

A/N: this was supposed to be posted halloween but work and school got in the way! So Happy Late Halloween 💖

Lewis was checking his notifications while he waited for you to get off of work when he saw your tweet that said "it's fine I didn't want a spooky basket anyway 😭." He closed out twitter and went to google to see what a boo basket was and began getting some ideas on what to do for you and decided to make you one for Halloween. He saw you walking out of your building and quickly locked his phone before climbing out of his car to come greet you. 

"Hey sweetheart, I missed you. How was work today?" He asked wrapping his arms around you and placing a kiss on your lips. 

"Hey baby, I missed you too and it was alright, my feet are killing me and I'm hungry." You said. 

"Well why don't we get you off your feet and go grab some takeout before we head home? And then after we eat, I'll give you a nice foot massage." He offered.

"That sounds nice. Hey do you think Saturday you could come with me while I grab the stuff I need for um Angelica's boo basket?" You asked him as he helped you into the car. 

"Of course, you know I love spending time with you while you run errands." He said placing a kiss on your lips. 

You guys headed to y'all's favorite takeout spot before heading home where you ate and were given the foot massage you were promised. 

While you were at work the next few days Lewis worked on your spooky basket that way he wouldn't risk you finding out about it because he truly wanted to surprise you on Halloween with it and the special halloween flowers he was having made for you. After he finished it up he went your best friends house to leave it there until Halloween which was in two days so you didn't accidentally find it. 

"She's gonna love this? And the flowers you are having made." Your best friend said as she looked at the basket. 

"You think so? I've never done anything like this before but I saw her tweet and wanted to surprise her with it and the flowers." He said nervously.

"She's gonna love it Lewis just for the fact that you took the time to make it for her." She said squeezing his hand. 

"Thank you again, I'll probably come get it Monday night if that's alright with you." He asked. 

"That's perfect with me, and if I'm not here Kyle knows where it is and can give it to you." She said as Lewis nodded his head before heading out.

Your friend smiled after Lewis left, because little did Lewis know is that you had made him a spooky basket weeks ago and had been hiding it with her so he wouldn't find it.

It was the day before Halloween well more so a few hours before it and you and Lewis were on the couch watching a horror movie together when the doorbell rang. You looked at him confused as he got up to answer it before coming back inside with a huge bouquet of flowers. 

"You got me flowers?" You asked him. 

"Not just any flowers but special Halloween ones, I hope you like them." He said handing you the bouquet. 

You took them and were shocked to see he had you custom flowers made that were decorated with ghostface and the wrapping paper said "let me murdered that pussy" which made you laugh. 

"Thank you so much baby, I love them and as for that quote you will be never be denied doing that." You said as you kissed him. 

"I'm glad you like them and good to know but this is part of your Halloween gift, do you want the other half now or do you want to wait until tomorrow?" He  asked you. 

"Would it be wrong to say I want it now because I'm curious to see what the other half is." You asked him. 

"Not at all. I'll be right back sweets." He said placing a kiss on your forehead before disappearing down the hall. 

A few minutes later he returns with a Halloween bucket in your hands and you look at him in shock because he didn't actually make you a spooky basket for you? Did he?? He handed you the basket and you wordless sat there looking through it which was making Lewis nervous. 

"I'm sorry if this isn't the best but I tried because I know how much you wanted one. I hope you like it, i worked really..."he started to say before you threw your arms around him. 

"Thank you...so much baby. You don't know how this means to me that you made this for me. I love it, the flowers and you so much." You said to him. 

"Your welcome sweetheart. You know I do anything for you especially to see you smiling like you are right now. I love you so much sweetheart." He said placing a kiss on your lips. 

"I love you Bubs. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go get your gift." You said leaving him confused as you disappeared down the hall. 

Lewis sat there confused until you returned with your own spooky basket in hand that you walked over and handed to him. 

"For you." You said as you took a seat next to him. 

"Awh sweetheart you shouldn't have." He said as he looked through his basket. 

"Of course I did. Your my man and you deserve a spooky basket as well." You said making him smile. 

"Well thank you sweetheart, I love it and you so much. Happy Halloween my love." He said placing a kiss on your lips. 

"Happy Halloween Bubs." You said smiling at him.

I would never understand people writing about a ship they don ' t like or dislike one half of the pair . Just for getting clicks ? Wouldn ' t it be better to write about a ship you do like instead ? And then they cry when people are upset at them . Seriously ?

I'm a bit tired of talking about it so this is probably the last post where I'm going to address it before I just start blocking people, so one more time, from the top:

- I'm not going to utilize criticism from someone who isn't willing to showcase their own writing. If someone brings me constructive criticism from their own account, and there are things I can learn from them, I'll do that. What I'm not going to do is listen to it from you.

- I do like lestappen, I like both of them, but in case we need a quick reading comprehension lesson (because it seems to only be Charles fans I get this from) I'm writing about Max. clearly. If I wanted to write something just because it's popular or I wanted clicks I'd be churning out awful carlando fics.

- I wanted to dive deeper with Charles as a character and the relationships I write with him, but there is one main reason I've been avoiding it, and part of that is because such a big part of him as a person is the people he's lost, and I'm not entirely comfortable writing that kind of thing out about real dead people. there's something inherently disrespectful in it for me personally, and it's the main reason I haven't really written him beyond a surface level at the current time. Now, obviously, I don't really have any desire to write him at all, tyvm. I'm certainly not going to start to just appease people who are so spineless they hide behind anon.

- I assume you're talking about Lewis here?? I think?? Which is kind of wild because I literally haven't posted that chapter yet 😭 how are you already mad. When I'm writing about a crash that actually happened, that actually had a real world effect, obviously I'm going to use the other driver?? literally what 😭

- even though I haven't posted the chapter, I'll go ahead and reiterate: I'm not writing Lewis as a villain. I'm explicitly going out of my way to very clearly not do that. there are no villains, it was literally just racing, shit happens. (you want me to create a random OC and replace them for the other driver in Mercedes for a huge crash in a championship race? how exactly do you want me to write that? Feel free to make your own fic actually, instead of policing mine, I would love to read it.)

- I think my engagement is just fine :) and it's clearly not a problem for me, because I literally write FOPA, and I'm the only person who's currently doing that. My only concerns with engagement has been from how big Search History has gotten, because I keep getting people like you, rolling up in my inbox, hiding behind anon because you aren't brave enough to put your actual account to name. Probably because you don't actually post any writing yourself <3

TL;DR: get the fuck over it, please. If you don't like my writing, leave. if you'd rather read a different story with Charles as the MC, feel free to go find one of the hundreds of stories that do that. If you're going to be a complete asshole, go do it on twitter, where that kind of behavior belongs. Canadian GP Qualifying Reflection

Everyone and their mom wanted Yuki's heads on a stick for impeding their laps. And I feel like the F1 community on Twitter and Instagram are doing the absolute most. The worst part is that Yuki can't really express any emotionally express anything because people would just stereotype him as being an angry driver.

This was cute and funny from some Ferrari fans but if Yuki went on the radio and called Charles a dickhead we would not hear the end of it ever. No shade but we need to call these things out when we see it: the expectations on behavior for PoC drivers is waaaaaay different from the white ones

Why did Checo stay on Inters for all of q2? Like I think they called him back into the pits to switch him on another set and he just continued to struggle? But they gave Max the right set of tires at the right time? I need to rewatch since I was so confused because at one point he was the only one on Inters

Lando driving the 7th fastest car on the grid going equal to qualifying with Checo on the fast car on the grid by a huge margin is so... 😭😭😭 Either Lando is just that good or Checo just doesn't feel comfortable in the car. Or maybe it's a combination of both

The amount of hate Carlos has gotten this weekend is insane. It was bad when he spun in free practice and caused a red flag. It had people calling for him to be dropped by Ferrari, as if free practice ain't the best time to be making these mistakes. He deserved his penalty for screwing over Pierre's quali and Pierre had the right to be upset about it. But that doesn't mean people can be sending him threatening messages!

Alex was so cunty in q2 by putting in a lap time on softs first. Like I was so excited for him to get into q3 again only for him to not be able to put in a proper lap. I genuinely think the Williams upgrades are working and I am very excited to see them fight for positions

Everyone please pray for Charles because even when he calls for the right strategy his team still tells him otherwise. Never seen a driver disrespected by his team like he has been 😭. They asked Max about his opinion on a different set of tires, Max said no, and they kept it pushing. Why doesn't Ferrari have faith in Charles like they love to put him on the wrong tires all the time. Maybe they have a humiliation kink

This don't even look right. An hour has passed and Hulk still managed to qualify p2. And I am typing this before the decision about speeding during red flags has been made. So if they take away his p2 I'll be sad for like 2 seconds but then I'm gonna be happy because Lewis gets promoted (Lewis getting upgraded grid positions for 3 races in a row sounds correct to me but I doubt anything will happen).

I anticipate Fernando vs Lewis being the main fight at this GP. Nico will be in the front for like the first few laps, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna get overtaken quickly by both of them. Not sure if there will be a safety car or red flag because it might be a dry race tomorrow? Honestly I cannot say much about what will happen outside of Max getting another GP victory

George if you're out there reading this on your burner don't suggest team orders for you and Lewis to swap places because I'm gonna be annoyed. Think about the children (me).

Update: Nico got the penalty which is actually kinda fucked up like let the backmarker team have their moment? But shout out to Lewis he's starting p3 which means another podium is possible 🥳🥳🥳

Hi! I would like to share my perspective living far far way 😅. I live in Brasil and Lewis is like the king here. Almost everyone loves him and that's awesome, but they also hate whoever does anything they consider against Lewis. Last year it became very toxic against George and some call Max m**derer for what happened in 2021. Lewis might be wrong but he's right for his fans here (like the incident with George last year) and he's always the hero, never the villain because it is not like they're real people, some people believe they are fictional characters or something, heroes and villains. And I'm very afraid of hearing people booing Charles in Interlagos.

The media is saying Charles "accepted he's number 2". I don't buy it at all. But for the fans, if Charles finish the races in front of Lewis, it will be hell because he's number 2 and mostly, if he overtakes, he's disrespectful, dirty and whatever. Some account said Lewis is a victim of a plan where Charles has a car made for him and beat Lewis to people stop calling "Charles Lecrash".

I absolutely agree with everything you said and obviously I'm not taking about all fans, just the loud ones, online or not.

And I have a question, do you believe Charles accepted being number 2 and don't care the strategies will benefit Lewis and not him? For all I know about Charles, I think is impossible.

And i can understand this very well. I’m Turkish and obviously there’s no f1 driver from turkey but when Turkish people love someone its the end of discussion for them. They don’t care about if he’s/she’s right or wrong they will see him/her right in every situation. And unfortunately causing to that Charles might get booed like we all saw what happened in Mexico this year. But for this kind of fans doesn’t matter if it’s charles or lewis fans if they boo the driver probably stop it immediately. And if they really care about their driver the thing only matters should if they’re happy.

And for the second part unfortunately its gonna be much worse than that. I just logged of twitter because some of the Turkish fans were bashing to each other so bad. And the fight was about who was going to be the first driver. I know that whatever they do in the end some of the fans are not going to be happy

And for the last part to be honest i’m very very complicated on that one. Because i know Charles only agreed to sign with ferrari to win the championship and fred also said that the car and the team was going to be around him. But i also would love to see Lewis being the champion with ferrari too. So we have no option but wait and see but i really think they’re going to be good teammates(call me biased and delusional because i love both so much but what can i do😭).

But the good part is we’re so get ridding of Carlos
